As you know, we don't usually stop to put tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater corresponds to the category of Drive-in movie theater.
Decent place..... I would rather go to a smaller drive-in. (Personal preference) They have many screens/movies to choose from.
Always have a good night here
I really liked it! we had a lot of fun and it was affordable. way better and more affordable selections at the concession stand than at regular movie theater. you have to try the funnel fries!! only reason I dont give five stars is because so many people parked nearby were chain smoking cigarettes through the whole movie and it made secondhand smoke impossible to avoid.
Tibbs drive-in is fun. Pack some food, a blanket and some friends and enjoy a movie on a huge screen. Lay down in your car or bring some comfy chairs and watch away :)
We have been watching lion King for bout 45 minutes with the sound completely off and all they say is they are working in it. This is Soo not cool
It was great to go to the drive-in movies again. And it had 5 screens to choose from each had 2 different movies to watch. Great prices too.
My new Friday night spot. I love it here
Was really fun seeing IT chapter 2, would definitely recommend!
I love Tibbs. It's always the same great consistent experience here. You can see up to 3 movies for the price of 1!
It was a great date night spot for sure.
Because there's not very many drive-ins left in Indy or anywhere as far as that matter goes but everyone loves a good movie at a drive-in and the people are friendly and the atmosphere is awesome and me and my girlfriend are both old school and we love going to the drive-in the only thing different is no more speakers to attach to the side of your vehicle it comes from your radio now but that's okay as long as you have a good stereo
Always a good time here!! 4 screens and plenty of food!! Reminds you of days of old!!
Well it's the only one In the city. Nice concession building
A 4 screen drive in. Sometimes people smoke outside but I suppose that is to be expected. Sometimes there are the random headlights or taillights during a movie but otherwise the crowd is usually pretty well behaved. Good place to see 2 movies for the price of one. Great concessions or bring your own food.
Been going here for over 30yrs. It's an Indy tradition. The price is right and the atmosphere is perfect.
I love going here! I can't wait till the kids are old enough to continue this tradition!
Great place. Teo movies for the price of one
This is a great place to go on a date night and the best part is you get to see 2 (and sometimes 3) movies for only $11/adult...
Still the best family nighttime entertainment!
Great had a good time at the tibbs drive-in the food at the consesion stand was good. Five Star
Great place to take your family. The prices are awesome you pay 11 per person to get in for adults and 6 I think for children under 12 to 3, 3 and below free. With these prices believe it or not you get 2 movies. The concession stand prices aren't that bad as well they have boundle deals so it's popcorn and a drink for 9 dollars with refills on the drink. Just amazing try it out
The African American young lady for very nice.
Me and my Boo thang enjoyed it , had 4 diffrent movies, bathrooms , concession on the inside its until 3 am , kid friendly also!
Best thing ever I want the ailine heads back though
I luv going to Tibbs. A great way to relax, be comfortable, enjoy great movies and friends.
Friendly employees and great place to go.
In love tibbs driven it their food amazing and the movies the staff amazing I really enjoy going there.
Had a blast husband and I took granddaughter people next to us was the best kids had so much fun
I used to enjoy going there but after my experience tonight it’s a maybe at best if I ever return. I took my family to see End Game and the entire 3 hours there was nothing but people driving around like it was a cruising spot. It got even worse when after some of the other movies ended on other screens people were trying to squeeze into spots that just plain wasn’t there. They need to have some sort of system that when the movies begin they should shut the entry gates to each screen. Just my 2 cents. I would really like to go there again but they have some issues to address first!
Best movie experience I've had since Hollywood Bar and Filmworks. Reasonable prices for entry and food. Friendly and courteous staff. Clear screen. Clear sound. Clean restrooms. Definitely want to show up early. Gates open at 1930(7:30pm) and you want to already be there at that time. It's worth the wait.
Awesome family fun, a small park for the kiddos to play while waiting on the movies to or just a bunch of friends getting together. Tibbs Drive-in, one of America's original forms of entertainment. Met the new owners today while delivering …
I had a great time at Tibbs Drive-In. Very clean and the staff was very helpful. My car died while there and they helped me jumped it. Very much appreciate that and I will definitely be back.

Its not a great area but I love going to watch movies here. The concession area has a ton of food choices. It feels like youre being transported back to the good ol days!

Best place to hang out with the family and watch movies. Great prices. Way better than regular movie theaters
Not bad but $11 per adult in the car it is 44 hours wow
Two or three movies for the cost plenty of options at concession stand.seems to be crowded most the time. That's because not very many actual drive ins left I love the drive in something everyone should experience in their lifetime. Great place
Clean place screens are very good concession stand was very clean and a lot of choices great place to spend the evening definitely go back over and over again
Movies. I like movies. I like cars. Movies and cars. They have good popcorn and hot dogs. I really like their playground and the merry go round goes so fast it makes me miss the good old childhood days. Thanks for a good time I will return shortly.
We hit the drive-in 3-4 times a year and it never gets old, the long lines is my only complaint
Best place ever to watch movies
We have always loved coming to Tibbs drive in over the years, and still do. But I was really upset tonight with the strong smell of marijuana coming from one of the vehicles around ours. The worst thing is that we was at a screen with 2 Disney movies playing, so a lot of kids around and someone couldn’t leave their drugs at home. Maybe Tibbs should have some police patrol through after the movies start, so families that come with kids don’t have to deal with ignorant people doing drugs.
I had a very good Movie experiens with my family. You all should come to this place it is fun.
First time at a drive-in and I enjoyed it! The price is $11 per person. Which is crazy affordable for two movies. The concessions stand is also affordable compared to the traditional movie theaters. The only reason I took one star away is because of all the cars moving around after the first movie. Other than that, I had a blast and will be back!
Tibbs will always be the best drive inn around! Great food, great movies, amd great prices!!
Very good picture and sound quality, very friendly staff. Car battery died after second feature and staff lent a jumper box.
Playground while. Pretty good concession selection..far more than average.
Brings back memories from a long time ago
Great place to take family, kids seem to really like it. It's aforble when you consider you get to watch 2 movies, and also have options during nice weather to watch from inside or outside your vehicle. Good Ole Drive-in Pizza and other Goodies can be purchased at the Concession stand. They have 4 Screens so there is always something on you want to see. Been going to Drive-ins my entire 61 years of life. Lots of Great Memories!!!!!?
I love Tibbs. It's a great place to watch movies on a summer evening. Don't forget to check out the concession. It's where places like this really make their money, and they've got a great selection of food.
I loved the outside effect but I dont like that when your at the screen one no one tells the kids they cant play at the playground or tells them to be quite i could barely hear the movie i paid to watch and i started regretting going in the first place and if i go back it will have to be watch a screen that dont have a playground in front of it because i want to hear my movie not kids yelling and screaming
This drive in is awesome. My little boy loves it.
Worst experience in a long time. Really rude older guy keeps telling everyone to move cars and SUVs also turn lights off. Everyone is getting annoyed with him he is rude and is cussing around the children, several of us have complained about him and get told that they don’t believe us that he is rude. No need to be so hostile when we’re trying to enjoy a movie with our kids. Been coming to Tibbs for a long time and never been treated like this. It’s not even that packed to be moving cars around like you are.
Love the service, love the movies, n love outside you can watch the movies.....
I love TIBBS. I wish that i was in Indy because I'd be there right now. My family is there watching movies and i am in Dallas. Cant wait til next weekend.
So awesome, good deals at the concession stand. I just wish there were more drive ins still alive in the central indiana area
I love the retro feel to this place. There are 4 screens with two movies for the price of one. I would recommend bringing a radio and figure a way to sit outside. If you have a truck relax in the bed of the truck. The concession was always busy with two lines. I only got a pretzel with cheese the pizza didn't look great. The pretzel had way too much salt. The biggest and only complaint I have is people that attend have no respect and drive around and shine lights on your car and the screen and blare music..most people were respectful but a few could ruin it for all. Cheap prices for what you get overall..I think more than anything you get the experience of a classic drive in. I recommend!
Wonderful blast-from-the-past, simple, good clean fun! Tibbs offers four different screens, playing two movies each, $11 for both movies. Each ticket is entered into a raffle and if you visit the concession stand between movies and your ticket number was drawn, you get to spin a wheel for a prize.
Good time- I should have checked this place out sooner!
Was wonderful! This was my second time going there and once again they did not disappoint!
We try to go to the drive in theater every year. We were both happy to see this 4 screen facility literally packed!!! It's been decades since I experienced that kind of crowd. Food is reasonably priced and takes you back to your childhood days!
Love taking the kids...fun place and friendly staff
Had a great time. Staff was very friendly
Family friendly and good movie selection
Nostalgia @It's Core...Nice Way 2 Spend An Eve (Alone, BFFs & Spl Some1) - Gr8 Choice Of Movies W/(4) Screens - CLOSED Tuesdays - (3) Shows/Screen Fri, Sat & Sun - Lots Of Restrooms So Usually No Wait! Clean and food was great. Reasonable prices!
Enjoy the movies. Wish they would start on time. It's fun and my husband and I enjoy going. I don't like the advertising before the movies. It's clean and the food is mostly good
Reminds me of back in Chicago when the drive-in was open. Nice concession stand, clean. The playground really made me reminisce. Just real muggy and warm on the day i went. I will be back. Keep it up!

Haven't been to the Tibbs for years and I was glad to find that it had been upgraded. It's very clean and I wasn't fearing for my health using the restroom. We went on a Sunday evening so not a lot of people but the crew was attentive and the food was hot and fresh. I won't wait so long to go again.

Always a great time at the drive-in since I was a kid going with my parents.. There aren't many left, so please support this one and the others around the country that are left.
3 stars for being an active running drive in theater in a major metropolitan area, but be aware where your going this is Not Disneyland. Unless Disneyland fell to ruin and was poorly revived. Tune in by radio, sit outside the car, squint and pretend it's the 60s again.
Saw the premier of It 2 really good venue enjoyed the movie
We love to go its clean and friendly
I haven't been to the drive-in in years but it was a very nice experience watch two movies two adults and one child was $15 but we watch new movies
Appears they have gotten new owners since the last time we visited (last year) and it’s definitely made our family visits much more enjoyable. No longer to continuous smell of pot have staff in the lot ensuring folks are parking in appropriate spots (one car not taking 3-4 spaces) there’s an off duty cop on site so big thumbs up great prices for admission concessions are a tad high for our likes but hey 3 movies for less than a normal movie ticket how can you complain!
Loved it. Have a wonderful time with my friend. Wink
Best place to escape from the real world Plus the show's and food is great
Nostalgia at its finest! Its been around since my mom was a kid..
The movie was great but a little boy almost got hit by a car at their little unfenced park. The fence should be completed on that side and signs should be put up to alert cars about kids around that corner. There also needs to be something done about people being allowed to smoke cigarettes at their cars. All that unfiltered smoke going in my family's face throughout the night is why we won't be coming back.
Drive Inn will always be a hit. Nice screens seems they've been updated since my last visit seeing Wonder woman but the picture was a bit dim
Nice place to see a movie, only issue is and why I'm giving it a 1 star, why would they put a playground in front of one of the movie screens? Tried to watch Aladdin but could barely hear it with all the ignorant kids and young teens screaming during the movie. I know it's bad parenting because one parent instead of getting getting up off their lazy butt, would whistle at their kid like a dog...but 1 star for me because of the drive-in's idea to put a play ground at a movie theatre.
Nice drive-in theatre. Reasonalbly priced concessions. 4 screens with double features. FM stations for great sound. Fri., Sat. they replay the 1st feature after the 2nd. Small playgroynd by screen 1 for before the show. Open nightly except CLOSED TUESDAY. 11 bucks adults. Kids cheaper. Turn off your lights. Remember to start your vehicle periodically or you'll kill your battery. Staff can help with either. Friendly staff.
I haven't been to the drive Inn in years. The Tibbs was impressive! It was so clean the bathrooms were nice I will definitely go back soon. Let's not forget the people who work there. So polite friendly. I had a great time
I have not been since I was a kid so it was nice to go down memory lane in the driver's seat. They greet you at the entrance with a ticket, list of radio stations for the different screens, a bag for your trash, and a ticket. I didn't care for the parking situation as some people were sitting in actual parking spaces with chairs and coolers so it was less room for cars which left you circling for a bit but I won't count the drive-in off for other people's choices. I eventually found a space. The people next too me were nice, we were up front so pretty good seats, my car has a shaded strip across the windshield so it was weird trying to find a good view without that distorting the screen, again not their fault lol... I finally put my seat back and laid on a pillow... PERFECT! The only down side was unless you ask your neighbor to hold your spot if you drive to the rest room your space is gone, luckily someone saw me in the cane and offered to stand in my space and let me drive over and come back <3 <3 <3. They move quickly in the restrooms and it looked as fast in the snack line I was grateful for that so I could return to my movie. You can drive from one screen to the other each one has two shows set up. I was able to see Toy Story 4, The lion king, and spider Man all in one trip for only $11... it was worth it. I'll go back, the night air gave a breeze that was heaven sent and I was so comfortable I stayed for a third movie lol. Nothing like the wind in your hair at 4 a.m. driving home lol. Hope you go visit them. And if you are a smoker please be kind, everyone doesn't want the smoke in their cars. Also please turn your lights off, cat in front row below the screen made their own space and sat on the break lights the whole movie smh... now stop reading.... pack a snack, take a meal, and go hang out for the night. Pajamas are welcome lmao!!
Family oriented. First time I have been to an outdoor movie In 3 decade's. Very enjoyable prices very fair.
Watched 2 movies for the price of one plus a great family moment. Definitely going again!
Great place for a family night out!!
I love this place. It is a tradition that I shared with my family and now my kids bring their kids and their significant others to enjoy the best way to see a movie... AT the DRIVE INN!!!!!!
It was really nice. The place was clean, the concession stand wad reasonably priced, and my daughter had a blast on the play ground equipment while waiting for the movie to begin.
Awesome though the screen was a little dark and kinda steep for a drive-in
Nice place for a night time show.
Always a great night at tibbs !!
Love it, went to see it 2 and it was amazing
On a Sunday night after school has started for the year you can enjoy wonderful service, amazing food, clean facilities, friendly staff and virtually any spot you want! Love this place and will continue to support this awesome local business!
Our family loves to come here during the summer. Double showings and a great/efficient concession stand.
This was my second time at the drive in, and both times were alot of fun. Fill the back of your truck with pillows or bring a picnic set up. Although the sound quality is only as good as your stereo and radio signal and the screen is somewhat dim, it's super nice to watch a movie in the nice weather. Actually you get two movies for the price of one. I would recommend not watching a marvel movie here or any movie where the quality of the picture and sound will really matter for your experience.
It was nice all but how some of the people was parked ,, some of the cars were parked were the SUV was souspe to park ,, but other then that it was nice and clean ,, I didnt like how the visitors or customers just through their trash out that was not right not one bit where the employees to pick up and I think that when your oder the pretzel is it say it's extra with cheese I did not know that until I got up there and paid for it but other than that it was claimed nice and the restrooms ran out toilet paper
Nice drive in .. you can see up to 3 movies for the price of 1
This place will always get 5 stars. 4 screens good concessions. Great atmosphere. Prices are super affordable. Doesn't get better than this!
Lots of fun. Able to watch a movie in peace even with lots if people around
Fresh tenderloin n nacho cheese....
Very good place to out for the summer
I love it brought back old memories enjoyable times and loving family
We went for our first time to see IT and IT 2 the other day. I’d say for about 90% of the movie we couldn’t really ever make out what was going on in the photo. Screen was incredibly dark, not great quality. We are a little spoiled though we grew up going to the skyline in shelbyville their screen is in a much darker location. Also had issues with almost EVERYBODY who parked next to us.. people were being obnoxious, constantly turning lights on and off. A truck parked in front of us at a “white cone” instead of “orange” I saw a staff member physically talk to the driver and leave without asking them to move. The popcorn, was awful. It wasn’t fresh. It had a terrible after taste. Drink selection is horrible compared to the food menu. Less than great experience, sadly, we won’t be back.
A perfect place for date night or family time.
Great night out old memories and making new memories with my family ❤️
It's funny as hell, I know there's soy Burgers but they taste good as hell
I love going to tibbs drive in. I've been going since I was a small child. Now I take my grandkids. Always have the newest movies. Very clean restrooms. Staff nice welcoming. I'm so glad your still around to make more memories.
This was so good. Side note Carmel on the funnel fries was to die for
My favorite drive-in theater in Indy. They offer a ton of new movies and it helps they show two movies per screen when you can’t decide, however they do run late so we usually fall asleep or leave before haha Highly recommend this place!
What's not to love?? Movies on the big screen, affordable refreshments, video games, and playground for the kids!
Love love love cheap prices great new movies
For the first time since I started going to Tibbs, I have to say this was the worst visit. Our screen was extremely dark so we could barely see anything. The other 3 screens were very bright. There were alot of rude customers this time too. I remember when customers were reminded about their headlights and parking lights. Between the dark screen and so many customers driving they with their headlights on blinding us and the people next to us playing with their lights, we ended up leaving early. Which is a shame we really wanted to see the movie.
I haven't been to the drive-in in a long time this place was kind of fun
Great place to go and watch two movies for 11 bucks a person
Favorite drive in. I have been going since I was a child. Was annoying last night. They over sold the lion king. There were vehicles trying to find a spot 40 minutes into the show. It was over full. Not enjoyable.
Our favorite summer hangout! You can choose which great movies to watch for one great price. The concessions are the BEST in town & a friendly staff as well. A staple to our fun summers!!!
I had a great time, bring back memories.

Awesome though the screen was a little dark and kinda steep for a drive-in
On a Sunday night after school has started for the year you can enjoy wonderful service, amazing food, clean facilities, friendly staff and virtually any spot you want!
Love this place have been coming here for years
Was an awesome find! I truly thought drive-ins were no longer around! (They have battery charges for people that leave their car on instead of turning key backward.
Have been coming here since I was a kid-always a good time
Was much better than I expected. Prices were good especially since you get 2 movies. Consession was good prices and both kinds of fries were good. Was not a long wait for food. Not one mosquito bite us. We will definitely be back.
Good shows but the price to get in is high
Great price. Love the caramel apple slices!!
Highly recommend this place is so much fun we have a blast every time we go there looking forward to going there again very soon after we sell our fireworks at the TNT tent
Everything fine just wish they had more available parking.
This place is awesome if ya like the drive in experience . Not the greatest neighborhood . If ya can get past that its a good time . 4 screens . Thats 8 movies to choose from . I usually pick my 1st movie and if i dont like the 2nd one at that screen i move to the screen i want . Great bang fr your buck . Plus it replays the 1st movie again after movie #2 is finished .
Everything is great but signage is hard to see in dark to find second show. Good is great and well priced. Lots of options. Great value for money - can watch 2-3 movies in one ticket price plus bring your own good if you want!
It was my first time but, not my last. Really enjoyed the environment. Cashier was helpful and friendly
Great place for date night! Roll back to the 1980's and 90's! Awesome place
This is the best if u have kids. Better when its hot out. The popcorn nneeds work and prezals and chicken take way too long but the staff is sometimes pushy on the inside and its very annoying.bits always clean and awsome to go watch movies at.
Great movie they even had a IT clown walking around
Good place they just need to update playground equpment
We absolutely love this place.....It's the best movie experience. I love to bring my whole family to watch movies and relax.
Fun! I loved my experience.
Lots of memories here watching movies at this classic drive-in movie theatre. It's cool because you just tune your radio in to the proper radio station to listen. If you've never been to a drive-in movie theatre then I definitely suggest you try it out.
Very nice and cheap. Has that old rustic feeling .
Great price for the option of 2 different movies! I will be back soon
Love the drive-in and not many around anymore.
Although the food isnt all that great, im more than thrilled there is still a drive-in close to Indianapolis!! Very cozy an good place to get out without spending to much. Can go here in pj's an be comfortable!! Thank you!
4 screens=3 movies for $11 $18=a candy, 3 large sodas, a water, and a corn dog-these people saying concessions are pricey clearly have never been to the movies lately. Only bad experience was a pos loud truck left running with ac on so noone could hear the movie. Some ocik ne asked them to turn it off and they did, then some guy makes his own spot and blocked our view. Even so, it's always a win.
Been coming here for years.. Love the nostalgia of this place
Love coming here and spending time with my family
Great place to watch movies with the family.
It's a tradition! Love coming back!
Like olds times wen I was a kid,.... glad 2 see it's still up n running, Thx Tibbs Drive-in
On a fairly rough side of town, but this place offers a pretty good deal. Sever showings on several screens. The only problem I had with the place was that they will stop you from going screen to screen between showings, to allow new arrivals to the movies they came to see. The staff doing this were fairly confrontational. I personally took the popsition that my date and I were there first, and we shouldnt have to give up the better spots for newcomers. 2 stars for confrontational staff.
I've been going to Tibbs for years and it's one of my favorite summer to fall activities! I have to go at least 2-3 times. You can't beat the price, especially for two movies!
Very hard to beat the price and location of this classic-style drive-in theater. $11 per adult for a double feature and we got to bring along the dog. Pros: Cheap, very reasonable especially if you're watching two films. We could bring in our own cooler with drinks and snacks including beer. We arrived at the suggested time (an hour before showtime) and found plenty of parking available. Sound through the radio was pretty good. Movie selection was up-to-date and good pairings for the double features. Food selection was wide enough anyone should be satisfied. Prices were reasonable especially compared to other theaters. Cons: The radio function didn't work at first. We had to alert the staff and they restarted the film after getting it to work. Also the sound was overpowering the car speakers (low end was too much). Parking was prolific but a little confusing if you were supposed to fit one or two cars in each space. No attendant available to direct traffic. The entire facility is basically one giant gravel parking lot with a screen on each side (4 total) and the projection/concession building in the middle. Very dusty due to gravel and constant cars moving about due to other films ending when ours was still playing. Lots of headlights. Be aware that you can see each screen no matter where you are so rated R movies will be visible from your rated PG screening. The biggest annoyance I found was that the theater sits directly under the flight descent path for the airport so during the 5 hours we were there we had 20+ planes loudly overhead. If you're inside the car it wasn't much of an issue but if you're outside (truck bed, tailgate, in a chair just behind your car) it would drown out the radio. Overall, I'll be back again. There are probably better drive-ins out there but they are getting fewer and fewer and this one does a pretty good job and is centrally located. It cost us <$50 for a date night for two (plus the dog) and that included a 2 topping pizza to share, drinks, appetizer, refills, and more. Could have been cheaper by bringing our own snacks but I was happy to support the theater.
Drive in theater with 4 screens. On Fri and Sat at least can usually watch up to three movies for one price. Cost is similar to a regular theater with the benefit of multiple movies for same price. Even had one time where my son sat with a radio and headset and watched a different movie than we did at the same time.
I love this place it's nice to go bring your own food and watch two movies and just chill and be
Food is drive-in food, but good selection. Staff was great.
Been going here for 20 years! Love this place, very friendly great service! Fun environment for the children!
over been going here over 30 years. Tibbs is a great drive in and a super great value.
It’s great that we have an original drive-in right here in Indianapolis. Bring your own food and drinks and make a night of it! Definitely recommend getting there early for popular movies. People like to take up multiple spots and cook out.
Drive ins will always be fun for not only my grown kids and my grandkids all together
LOVE going here! Great place and its half the price of the regular movie theater. I recently just brought my 5 year old here to watch the secret life of pets 2 and she loved it and never wants to go back to the regular movie theater. We try to go almost every weekend!! I definitely recommend checking this place out. Food prices are very reasonable also!
Fun experience, minus people who were loud throughout the movies.
Very nostalgic going to the drive in. This place is no different. Go early to avoid waiting at the entrance and bring cash to Get through admission quickly. Great prices on concessions, however the lines are crazy long so be prepared to miss the beginning of your movie unless you get there we'll before the start of the show.
great place has good and fast service for the volume of people and easy to navigate grounds
I enjoy the family atmosphere. Reasonable price.
Good place to go take your own stuff to eat in with you see your movies
Love this place have been coming here for years

Good shows but the price to get in is high
