this place is a solid theater. nothing special, could use a few updates like new carpet and rework on the floor tiles. Prices are very reasonable, only 5:99 till 6pm. i recomend this place. Whenever i go with friends, most times we go here due to the price Scratch that. I came back again recently for a 4:15 showing and found out prices went up to $9:50 a ticket. I guess its back to between 10 am to 3 pm shows then.

This place is old and needs renovated. Other reviewers say the tickets are cheap but I paid 9$ to see a movie and I can 4$ more to sit in a pristine environment with comfy seats, great sound and picture quality. When I walked in the theater it immediately smelled like dust. The only positive was that it was playing a movie most other theaters weren’t and the theater was empty.

Staff has always been friendly. I recently forgot my wallet there and they kept it safe until I went back for it, I'm so thankful for that. :) The ticket price is very low, but the food is expensive just like any other theatre get over it.

I wish, I had the option of selecting no stars. Went to see the movie Justice League at Georgetown Cinema. Been wanting to see this movie since and can out. So, looked up the movie and found a 10:30pm movie. Went to the movie and paid for my brother and myself tickets and sat patiently for the movie. After, sitting through about 30 minutes of preview my brother and I was a bit confused. My brother went out to look at the display to make sure we was in the right theater and came back in and said we was. So, 45 minutes in the preview and then a short film of frozen comes on. I’m like what!!!! Ok may after this the movie will start. The frozen short film lasted about 20-25 Minutes. AND THEN COCO CAME ON!!!!!! Don’t waste your time with this Theater.

CLEANING THE BATHROOMS instead of having janitors standing around and the womens bathroom needed paper towles 2. More SEATS more SPACE bruhh i was tired of getting my toes stepped on considering the fact I'm already 9 mnths pregnant with feet already sore and i got 300 lb people trying to squeeze their way through stepping on MY Toes oh and i cant forget those cheap a** chairs kept folding up. This place looks like its supposed to be shut down for BED BUGS and i will never come back EVAAAA

The theater was very smelly and contained tons of obnoxious people. The people were so loud that our group couldn't even hear the movie. We end up leaving and obtaining a refund. The price of the food was unnecessarily overpriced. The only reason I'm not giving the cinema a 1 star is due to our refund.

I was a big fan of this theater for the longest time and that’s mainly because it’s close to my house and cheap. Well that’s now a thing of the past. New management is now making the prices higher.. okay. That would be fine if the theater didn’t have the issues that it has. Everything from no heat, no air conditioning, terrible sound, cancelled show times, leaking roof etc. If you want to charge AMC prices, you can be expected to be on par with AMC’s. I would frequent this theater anywhere from 1-3 times a week.. every week. Call me when you fix your issues with the new income ✌

I liked how much money I saved on the tickets. The snacks were more expensive but whatever. but the bathroom near the entrance was horrendous the staff need to clean up more honestly. The staff were decent. It was messy in the theaters before anyone entered but I would recommend to go if you want to save a few bucks then going to a more expensive movie theater.

Please tear down and rebuild. This theater stinks so bad. I came with my husband once. The theater we were in stank so bad I got refund and left. So about a month later, we had our kids with us and wanted to take them to see a movie. We decided to give it another try and I immediately wish I hadn’t. The theater smelled so bad it was hurting my nose. I now vow to never return unless they rebuild.

I saw what appeared to be several employees hanging out outside when I entered the building. One greeted me and held the door open. Inside I was greeted by the ticketing agent and was assisted with my ticket and small popcorn purchase. The theatre number on the sign was accurate on the stub and played the movie I wanted to see. The theatre itself was small. There was the general theatre cleanliness. So many years of spilled popcorn and soda will do that. The floors could use a fresh coat of paint and the seats were not terribly comfortable. They didn't recline. The stadium seating is nice. There are cup holders if you want the armrest either up or down which was my favorite feature. The pre-movie ads didn't start until the exact time of the movie. There was nothing showing until that time. One of the speakers on the left side of the wall as you are looking at the screen in theatre 14 cracks pretty noticeably when there is a certain amount of bass coming though the speaker.

It was a horrible experience. The lobby looks like a disaster zone. People were upset because people were in line and they had 2 people working a ticket/concession line which was not successful. We were told to go to theater 11, to see Men In Black, but was confused cause the sign said Pets 2. Turned around and went to theater 14 where the sign read Men In Black, but when we went in to take our seat Pet 2 was on. So we were finally instructed to go to the correct theater, that still didnt have the correct movie title. Floors were sticky, bottom of the movie screen had a low dim. They need to close this place ASAP. My 14 and 15 year old daughter could run this place better than the manger that was there.

Well, it wasn't the WORST cinema I've ever been to, honestly the place was big, was fairly clean in the halls and lobby, but the room we stayed watched our movie in was sort of... Eh. The whole room smelled vaguely like pee, or something similar, the ceiling was missing multiple tiles, but the seats were more or less comfortable at least. My other issue, the volume was turned up WAY too high, even the trailers before the movie started were practically deafening. We managed to get through the movie with our hearing intact, but I'm not sure if it was just because our eardrums had become numb to the sound assault provided by the previous trailers. Anyways, I'm not saying not to go here, but maybe just.. bring an earplug or two to keep from losing your hearing, especially if you go to an action movie lol.

Well, to start, we paid for $7 tickets for their $7 3D movie Wednesday, only to find out they don’t even have “the equipment or whatever” for 3D movies because they’re “not fancy enough” according to their own employee. I could go on and on about how funny our entire experience was, down to the tiny screen being pitch black, even after the lights went dark, to the fire alarm going off before they had even attempted to fix our screen. As we all stood in confusion in the lobby, the kids working just turned red laughing and finally the one kid who seemed to have some common sense instructed everyone to go back to their theater. Still, no one acknowledging our pitch black screen. I am not going to publicly humiliate them with one part because I know one employee doesn’t represent the entire brand, but I’d be glad to talk to someone privately to prevent it from happening again. I’m speechless. We just laughed it off and left, please save your money and do not go.

Worst theator I have ever visited. Hall was full of dust. I have purchased ticket for a movie they gave me ticket. I saw some other movie was running on that screen allotted to me. After wait of 20 mins they asked us to go another screen and they sent whole crowd who were already there to another screen. Such a poor management.

So i said Can I have my purse. No purses allowed! Like since when no purse in a movie theater.!Seen husbands running to the car to put their wives purse away.Then afterwards walked into a theater full of trash. Everywhere. Then there’s an awful smell ODOR!

Waiting for them to fully update the facility. Movie experience is as it would be with any other facility but here, the seats are uncomfortable and it seems like you have no space to move if someone is sitting on both sides of you.

Deceptively nice theatre. Doesn't look much from the outside, but it's a little oasis inside. Clean, 14 screens, and costs just a little less than the big theatres. I really recommend supporting this local movie house.

I had a lot better experience the second time I tried this theatre. The voucher from the third-party site was accepted this time with no issues. The theatre was clean, and the movie started on time. The only thing I would suggest is to have a dedicated line for tickets when selling them from the concession stand, there was a bit of a bottle neck in the line.

Usually Georgetown Cinema is a 5, and usually at all times, but tonight it was different. Always on any day of the week, specifically $5 Wednesdays my family takes a trip to the theater. Tonight we went to go see the big bang Endgame, and it wasn't the best. The film kept flickering on, and off. The AC was not on. The "ads" ; previews weren't even the same. Now I did get to completely watch the movie, and have snacks, and actually end up spending joyful time with my family. But it definitely wasn't the best encounter. Wishes for better, but I am greatfull.

The theater screen is small for movies, and this me sitting in here for just 5mins. The AC didn’t seem to work because the place is really hot. Honestly if you are a movie goer and lover like me, I would not recommend this place, unless you are really worried about spending money on a ticket.

It's dirty, they will play the wrong movie and when you ask them what's happening they will answer "well it's not my fault" they have very impolite customer service and very poor management skills. Save yourself a bad experience and avoid this place!
