I go here all the time! The prices are good, and the staff is nice. I will warn that one of the back theatres here's screen is a bit broken. It doesn't really change the movie or have any real affect, but the thin red lines are just a bit annoying.

Use to live in Indiana, a friend and myself would come here all the time. He has passed away and I live in Florida now, but I seen my company had me coming through town so I stopped to see a movie. Wow the memories that I have in this place, friendly staff, clean auditorium, had a super great experience, thank you for that!

AMC theater in Plainfield restricts the number of gift cards to 4 cards max on a purchase per day. (Bottom picture) You can go to Walmart and buy as many as you want. (Top picture) I’m not complaining as much as I am making you aware so you don’t waist your time going into the theater to purchase gift cards

Could have turned the a/c up if it was on, and was ushered to non 3-D showing of Spiderman after asking for 3-D glasses, but manager gave us free passes for next time to see any movie we wanted, so it worked out ok I guess. Love the atmosphere of the Rave theater!

Movie selections were good. Thank goodness it's $5.00 Tuesday and I'm a Stub holder. Prices are outrageous including concessions. Screen 13 was extremely loud. The volume was lowered once they knew about it. The theater was clean and the employees were polite and respectful.

The theater is very clean and nice looking. The staff was very efficient and friendly and in case of long lines they do have self-serve ticket stations. The snacks are a little overpriced but I think that's par for the course for almost any movie theater. Almost everything is grouped in two combos making it hard to get what you want if you just need a single item. Other than that the seats are very comfortable, the theaters are large, and they have a lot of screens. This location also features an IMAX.

Love how they play several movies that wont be viewed at my hometown theater for weeks. Love the reserved seat!!!!! My favorite thing actually. And pick up ur tickets ordered online and I have a rewards card so i passed straight to concession and into my movie in less than 15 mins. Perfect when your running right on time this place if u dont have that card show up at least half hour early!!!!

It's a decent theater. The bathrooms aren't always the cleanest and the concessions are grossly overpriced. The seats in the Dolby theater are awesome and in general seating isn't bad. I'll keep coming here because the theater in Avon isn't near as good.

I wish this theatre was still owned my Carmike, to bad. There was always more friendly service then. Since Amc bought it, its been going downhill. Was dissapointed they replaced the BIG D screen with. DOLBY AMOS screen. The recliner chairs don't fully recline

I always loved coming here but it is even better now with the premier showings having the bigger screen with the reclining chairs. My only criticism would be that the recliners stop before your legs are at the usual reclining height and it can get uncomfortable after the first hour of the movie.

My son and his girlfriend treated me to a movie with them and I loved it so much also this place is a Very very nice place to relax and enjoy a great movie a little expensive but well worth it! I will be returning to this place soon hopefully with my son and his girlfriend i love them both very much God gave me wonderful children thank you Jesus amen and amen my advice is GO TO THIS PLACE YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Nothing really wrong with them, but the theaters seem behind the times as far as comfort and convenience are concerned. One person selling tickets, multiple snack bars but only one open, one register with one person... seats are not as nice as other local theaters.

The theaters are large. They have alot of good food options that are tasty and reasonably priced. The only drawback is the seats aren't as comfortable as some theaters I've been in recently (mainly regal). Over all if you are in Plainfield and want to see a movie I recommend this theater.

Crowded and hard to get into, we only got into the movie theater halfway quick because we had the prepaid for the tickets but they only have one person to scan the tickets. And the concessions we're understaffed for a weekend operation. The restrooms were dirty and not stocked. The soda machines were running out of syrup and ice. This location is probably better when it was Carmike but since it was bought it's not maintained in the same level as it was.

I am so upset with my experience here I wasted my time and money. There was mold in the theater. Not one employee had been in there to clean. Went to speak to management he said he had not been in theater 12 for days?!?! Also when I asked for a refund I only got the ticket price back, I bought my tickets online so they were more than buying them in the theater, also I had bought popcorn, drinks, and candy (which isn’t cheap)and didn’t even watch a movie. I will never go back here!!!!!

Clean and modern theater. Don't care for the assigned seats prefer first come first serve. They have a good selection of food and beverage including alcohol. Parking is a bit of a hike including elderly and handicap. Overall I choose this theatre over others nearby.

A group of us went to see Jon Wick 3 "Dope movie 5 stars". But, this theater is only getting 1 star. From the moment we walked in it was obvious that this theater has gone down in quality dramatically since its opening. It may just be me, but having to pick your seats at check in at 2pm on a Sunday seems just insulting. Part of the fun of going to the movies is to find the best seat in each theater. Plus, micromanaging people who pay for over priced food and drinks, should be able to manage finding seats. Next, mold and mildew. The theater we sat in smelled so bad that one of us had to leave. Had John Wick not been such a good movie, the rest of us would of left too. Serious maintenance needs done in that theater room. Burnt out lights, trash in seats and arm rests sticky. There was even a chew cup that was half full in the cupholder where we wanted to sit. Basically, for seeing a movie in a theater (where hardly noone was there) it was just disappointing from start to finish. Staff seemed like they didnt care or want to be there. The condition of the place was just sad too see. I would rather wait for the movie to be released on our cable providers service than go there again.

#1.Well my boyfriend and I before even sitting, there was people cutting in line for the snack bars, and nothing about it was happening. #2. The theater is hot. #3. There was no butter considering the total that we spent on snack was $16.00 (large popcorn and drink) plus there was no ice on some of the machines, and syrups. #4 I went to the restroom before the movie and there was toilet paper in most stalls or paper towels. I would spend extra few dollars and more of my time and even gas to go to Regal, quality atmosphere, reclining seats and had always enjoyed my experience and time there. I have been waiting to see Jurassic World for over a year now and thought this would be a nice turn of theaters. I told my bf before we sat down we are going to Regal next time. I never leave a comment anywhere, never. I was so disappointed with my experience.... Even the movie was late. Are you kidding me?

The Dolby Theater (#3) is astounding in it's ability to surround you with amazing high definition sound..... There are dozens of speakers placed perfectly around the room..... And the seats absorb and penetrate you with the lowest ranges of sounds. I'd love to see Jurassic Park in there.... It would make you believe.

The AMC in Plainfield never has enough staff on hand. On a discount Tuesday there were two people handling the ticket sales and refreshments and seat choices for all the regular guests and one for the stubs guests. The lines were so long that some people were late getting to their movie. The idea of choosing seats might be good if you are attending an evening or weekend show but is quite unnecessary during the early shows. I think the corporation is squeezing out as much money as they can by cutting customer services.

I have better surround sound at my house (and it's 16 years old!)... Took my daughter to see Bohemian Rhapsody it sounded like the only speaker that was on was connected to the screen. Incredibly disappointing, the entire reason I go to the movie theater is for an amazing experience (high definition, Dolby Digital Surround Sound, etc.). Personally I feel I would have had a better experience at home. I will also remark that I first saw Bohemian Rhapsody at Regal Theater in Greenwood which was an amazing experience, just like you pay for. We love Queen & you should be able to experience their epic music in Dolby Digital loud & amazing. I have 2 more tickets left to AMC I will never pay for a movie there again. Regal will get my business from now on. They have incredibly comfortable seating along with excellent surround sound. For shame AMC, for shame.

Watched the Mario Megaman Sonic Rpg The Movie in IMAX 3D here. The recliner seats are super comfortable and have smaller screens with only about 30 seats per screen. Staff is friendly and dint have to stand in queue for tickets or popcorn or soda the service was fast.

Movie theater is not organized to get your tickets, you just walk in? There are ropes that just lead you in to the main concession area, we didn’t even check in with our tickets, we just walked in to the movie. The temperature was hot and sticky, it was very dirty and smelled. They don’t enforce the seating, people were in our seats and it was blown off. Not very impressed with this movie trip, at all. The movie started almost 27 minutes later than the advertised time. The concession stand was dirty and unorganized. The only good thing about this visit was the nice young man at the candy counter that helped us. We usually go to the southern plaza amc, this is exactly why.

Will not be back. Lights so bright inside movie theater we couldn’t even see the screen. Took at least 10 minutes to turn down the lights after we left the theater the movie was playing in and had to talk to manager to get our money back. Here’s the thing. Gary, the manager was aware of the problem and wasn’t on top of it AND didn’t even offer anything to ease the situation. No restart of movie, free tickets to come back... Nothing. Come on. Who pays nearly $8 for a matinee to watch a movie that you cannot see.

The 330pm limited staff (the one and only one person) working on a Saturday was very rude to many customers standing in line for tickets, the greeters could care less to be there, the floors were sticky and nasty from the pop machine (I guess over flow), most selections from the pop machine were empty. The place actually had a weird smell but could be because it was on the warm side or old popcorn. We didnt even attempt to use the restrooms and made sure to clean our hands off at the car instead. Only good thing was the movie selection. Very disappointing for the price. I'll stick with our small town friendly theater.

The seats aren't as fancy as you would get from a regal theater. The food is a tad over priced but what movie theater doesn't milk the convenience to price ratio. But I will say that inside of the movie theater there's a church called Tribe Church that makes every Sunday morning blossom. It adds a whole another aspect to the movie theater. I wouldn't see movies here if I didn't have the good vibes resonating from the Sunday before in the same theater. I would say the church makes the movie part of it worth going to over other movie theaters. Funny how that works.

The screens here are amazingly large, even with 18 of them. Picture quality is a strength. So is the sound. This is the place to go if you want the ultimate sensory experience for your motion picture. The older seats are still very comfortable and recline pretty far back. Staff are adequate, and so are the concessions. The style of the cinema is almost steampunk futurism. It is not my favorite. I think it's a remnant from when Rave built it in 2005. The place is clean. The signs on each theatre say the movie and time (unlike Goodrich chain).

This theater is kept in pretty good condition. I don't find a lot of squeaky chairs. The floors usually are not sticky. I've always been satisfied with the sound and picture quality. I only have 2 complaints. 1) movies often start a few minutes late. 2) there was a fire alarm during a movie once and the whole theater was evacuated. I think it ended up being burned popcorn. While I think there staff appeared well trained and prepared to handle the situation, my complaint is that when we were allowed to go back in and finish the movie, I wish they had rewound it about 30-60 servings our so, but instead they restarted at the exact second where they left off, which cut in half a very important scene in the film and we ended up missing some of it. Aside from that, great place.

Snack bar is a bit overpriced, but what do you expect at a movie theater these days? They did recently start serving better food, as well as alcohol, which i consider a plus. The "Big D" theater seems a bit like a stretch, as the tickets are more expensive, but the seats are not that comfortable, nor does there seem to be any more space. The staff is friendly, and the overall experience is fine, but I personally take the extra 10 minutes and go to Regal in Avon.

Movie "Dora" was good and even though they haven't updated their seats I have no real complaint about the theater. I do have a Popcorn concern, this was the second time we attend the first show of the day and I think the popcorn was left over from the previous night. I asked for fresh popped and the girl said they wouldn't pop until what they had was gone. 14.98 for a coke and popcorn it should be fresh and you should get what you ask for.

This was my first time ever visiting. Theatre was old and cold. Very spacious but long over due for a remodel. One of the staff said the only theatre that's modern is the Dolby theatre. If comfort is part of the experience, they get low marks. The redemptive factors are the free beverage refills and clean bathroom during a busy time.

So glad they have the option to order tickets & pick them up! The line was out the door on a Saturday night, but we cut to the kiosk, scanned my phone and got our tickets in under a minute. The new recliners are great too, super comfy!

I am from Broadripple and had the day off. I was so excited to see Bohemian Rhapsody. The website (and google) stated it was playing at 12:15pm on 1/22. I drove over half an hour to get there, and once up front to buy my ticket the employee stated that it was NOT playing!! She said it was due to low ticket sales, even though she also told me I was the 6th person to ask for a ticket for that showing. I am very disappointed and upset that I have waisted over an hour of my time (not to mention the gas it took to get here) Will not be coming back to this location.

Nice theater. The time for the movie listed on website did not match the time posted at theater. Which made us miss the start of the movie. When movie ended around midnight the entire theater was closed and no employees were around. Lights were off, concessions were closed and all the exits were locked and blocked off with ropes. We had to disconnect the rope to get to the exit. Very bizarre experience.

I haven't been here in quite a while, but I am a huge AMC fan. However, women's bathrooms were diarrhea filthy. Nor did they have blowers or towels for our hands. My daughter and I had to use the same stall bc it was literally the only one that was clean enough. We came to see Avengers and that part of the experience was amazing. Also, it was super smoky up at the concession stand. Something got burned and 3 hours later, still smoky and bathrooms still not clean and no way to dry your hands. #roomforimprovement

This theater used to be very clean but over or last visits it has really went downhill. The bathrooms are usually very nasty. And today when we went to our movie they had not even cleaned the theater. There was popcorn and trash all over the floor. The customer service is still pretty good but the cleanliness is not.

My family like to go on Tuesdays to see a movie. With the free or paid stubs membership it is only 5 dollars all day. And you can get discounts from the snack bar too. My only complaint is that they need to be more mindful of the cleanliness of their restrooms and the areas around the pop machines and butter stations. Those areas tend to be relatively dirty. Oh.....about that stubs membership, I get the idea behind a paid membership versus a free one. However it isn't fair for you to take a paid member first over a free membership. Those of us that chose the free membership are still spending our hard earned money to buy that ticket and popcorn and soda. There should be separate lines dedicated to both types of members with designated employees helping that line only. Not jumping back and forth.

lost my wallet, didn't know it till the next day, cleaning crew found it and had me properly identify it then returned it. EVERYTHING was there!!! thanks a million!

Unfortunately, AMC has gone downhill. I am a frequent customer but over the past few months I have not been impressed. I have debated over doing the A list a few times but just can't get myself to do it after my last few times being there. A few times I have went just 10-15 minutes after the start of my movie (Since I am a regular and there is usually 20-25 min of previews) and they have already closed. Standing there hoping someone would open the door for us and a few other people outside confused, we were ignored by employees. Other times, I have made it right on time and they are trying to close and not let me in and I actually had to wait until someone walked out the exit doors to get in. I have also been early for my movie and went out after an ad I saw with Coke because I was thirsty (probably 5 min into the movie start time) and the whole concession was closed and I was told I couldn't get anything. No popcorn, no drinks, no candy BEFORE the movie even began playing. For the release of The Nun, we watched it in the new Dolby theatre with recliners and it was much nicer than other theatres. We unfortunately were sweating and it was sticking to the leather the entire time. I assumed it might have been from so many people being in there and they would kick the air on but they never did. I pay good money for a nice theatre to feel like they have the heat on in the summer? I wasn't going to write a review but these issues have occurred quite a few times now. I just watched a movie last night and was so hot I wanted a drink and couldn't even get a cup for water during the preview because they had yet again shut the concession stand down and don't acknowledge you when you go up there.

Love the inexpensive option on Tuesdays, love the comfortable seats but sometimes the seating is an issue and the food can get pricey.

I was fairly disappointed with this AMC. I thought we were getting premium reclining seats like at Regal. Not the case, seats weren’t comfortable and barely reclined. The theater felt kind of ratty. Service was also really poor. Concessions workers were not welcoming, friendly, nor fast.
