We saw the 10:10 showing of Aladdin tonight on opening night. I’m pretty sure the previous crowd left the theater and no one bothered to clean it. The row we sat in had a reclined seat with the foot rest up, along with a popcorn bucket on that seat and an empty cup. Other garbage was laying around in other seats throughout the room. It was pretty obvious no one cleaned. I really like this theater but come on! I have never seen it so dirty. It was gross.

Amazingly comfortable, I've never flown first class but I bet this is better than that! Each seat is a recliner and tons of aisle room to walk past reclining cowatchers. Liked that the seats were assigned, no awkward searching for the right seat. Bought my tickets online, picked my seats, walked to the ticket trailer, found seats on the seating chart outside the theater door and watched the movie very comfortably. A million times better than any theater ive ever been to. Popcorn and drink prices are ridiculous like any theater ($15 for 1 of each) and sound wasnt great.

Best Theatres in town in my opinion. Awesome plush recliner seating, cutting edge surround sound and video screens. I also like that you can get your own drink refills instead of waiting in the regular concessions line again. Lots of money off incentives too so join their loyalty program!

Only place we go to the movies in town. One star off for greasy doors and carpets, not fixing toilets and ripped seats that haven't been fixed. One star for the decline in customer service at concessions area and extreme prices on food and serving stale popcorn.

Always a great selection of movies but in theatre 5 we sat in chairs where one was broken. It was in the reclined position and it did not go down which made getting into it awkward. Food is pricey but they have a wide selection of foods available and drinks including a beer.

I was just here, and some black gunk fell out of of the soda dispenser nozzles into my drink. I used a napkin to check some other nozzles, and they were all filthy. I made sure a manager was aware that the soda machines hadn't been cleaned, and they told me they'd take care of it right away. After the movie, 2.5 hours later, I checked some other nozzles on the same machine, and they hadn't been touched. You'd think your drink would at least be clean if you paid an arm and a leg for it.

Absolutely terrible. My girlfriend and I got an uber here and waited in line only for the lady to tel the people in front of us they can’t sell tickets because “the server was down” so we wait outside for about 45 mins and go in to try and see if they fixed it and they were only accepting cash, okay I thought I’ll just use the atm so I ask where it was and they showed me only to have the atm be out of service

The last 3x I have been here it’s been terrible. Restrooms disgusting. The food is terrible. I ordered a burger and no one had even started cooking it after 15 minutes. We also ordered pretzel bites. The first batch were hard has a rock. The second batch had to be recooked 3x and we’re still cold in the middle! We almost missed the movie. The only good thing about this place are the seats!!!!

They seem to have a problem with their projectionists. I purchased a ticket a month early for an advanced showing of Downton Abbey, the 7pm showing. It didn't start until 7:20! No explanation or apology. There were also showings at 7:05, 7:10, and 7:15. So, the other 3 theaters were watching this long anticipated show before me. (BTW, the movie was awesome!!)

What a dump!! We went to a showing at 11 in the morning, and the place was still dirty from the night before. Even the toilets were disgusting. Only one of the ice makers was working, and several of the soda flavors were not working. The theater itself wasn't great either. So many chairs with torn cushions. We had 4 seats, and only two of them still reclined. As expensive as it is to go to the movies, the place should be pristine, and you should feel like you are in luxury. Not the case here. Save yourself the agony and go to one of the other theatres in town.

I don't understand the so called 'convenience fee' when we still had to stand in the same long line at the ticket counter and then there was NO ONE to take your tickets inside. The concession stand had an equally long wait. Good thing we loved the movie.

The staff is friendly but the management clearly doesn't care about the quality of the picture or sound. The projection was blurry and faint, and we could hear loud sounds from the next theater over. Very frustrating.

Ticket staff are super nice. Concessions line was pretty long but moved at a decent speed. The seats are SOOOOO comfortable. Movie played on time. The highlight was definitely the seats though. One thing I wish they did was start serving food (other than the concession stand food) at the time they open rather than later in the day.

The theater is is such disrepair and my wife sat down in one of the "dream loungers" and the arm fell off. We moved to another set of chairs and the seats wouldn't recline. We finally settled in to another set but the chairs were all full of holes....

We had called this theater a few hours before our showtime to make sure they would still be open due to the weather and told us they would still be open. When we got to the theater, the doors were locked. There wasn't a sign on the door or anything to state they were closed either - just locked doors.

Very good movie theater, prices for food are a little high and I am disappointed they removed the wahrenberg theme song from the intro to every movie. It feels less like a home town theater now and the ridiculous intros with the owners are not enjoyable and feel very forced. The experience is good and I like that they have many theaters. I honestly have been in the same theater a few times. As well last time I was there the theater was not even clean and the seats had popcorn all over them. It has been going down hill but because there are not many better options in the area I continue to go there. I appreciate the student discount since it is expensive to go to the movies and hope that doesn't disappear.

Lounge chairs were nice and comfortable. Service was good. Popcorn not good. Usual overpriced theatre food. This is an experience that has priced itself out of most people's budgets. Definitely will be hitting up bargain time if I ever go again. Couldn't afford this trip for 4 very often.

This complex has several different style theaters with different sizes, screens and different seats. The tickets are for specific seats so you don't have to negotiate with other theater goers to find room for your group to sit together. Watching End Game in 3D with my teenage sons was incredible. The smaller theaters are also quite nice and, unlike iMax, the seats recline. It's possible to raise an arm between seats and cozy up with someone special. There is food available, high calorie belly bomber stuff that looks good, even though I haven't tried it. There is a small seating area in the lobby where you can eat. The theaters don't seem like they would accommodate burgers and such very well. Adult beverages are available. You'll want to join their loyalty program and download their app to take advantage of various perks and to reduce the fees for online ticket sales. Overall, a nice place to go to see a new release or pass some time.

What to say... We have not visited the movie theater in a long time. We went in with a stack of gift cards with various balances from the previous company that owned the theater. The girl at the ticket counter was VERY NICE! She informed us that in order to use the cards, the balances would have to be transferred to the New Company's card. Being that as usual we got there just before the movie was to start, this process was going to take a little bit. She offered to finish the balance transfer's while we watched the movie. After the movie was over, she found me and informed me that she had gotten everything done. This really helped, and nobody missed one second of the movie. GREAT PLACE!!

Fancy seats aren't worth the extra cost of admissions. Concessions were slow even though there were 3 attendants and it wasn't busy. Lobby looked like it hasn't been swept or mopped at all that day.

I dont do movies as much as I used to but I do like this theater. Comfortable seats and I think they block cell signal in the building. I will be back here just because of that. I would rather walk outside for a min to make a call than spend ticket popcorn and coke for the family and the whole thing ruined by people that just don't get it.

Theater was not cleaned before showing. Seats were not numbered. There was a family sitting in my seat so I had to reverse count to get an open seat. The physical seats should be numbered. There is a monitor with seat numbers but no one followed it.

They didn’t show 30minutes of a movie at all. I watched ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) a Telugu movie today(5/18/2019). They skipped all of the 6 songs. This is completely shocking. I didn’t expect such a thing from MARCUS. Please check on this MARCUS.

The IMAX screen was great but they totally oversell the luxury seats they have. They are pretty small and the button to turn the heat on is in a bad place. It is really easy to accidentally turn on. Also the arm rests are really small and there isn't much room in between rows.

Great seating, chairs fully recline, which was great because I needed to keep my foot elevated. Aisle spacing was good enough that you never have to deal with someone shimmying in front of you, even with the seat reclined. Great sound (saw Bohemian Rhapsody, so that was important!). Overall great experience.

I have mixed feelings about this theater. It is the most expensive in town. The popcorn is yummy and I love that they offer Pepsi products versus Coke. But it isn't always clean. And while the recliners are nice, CLEAN AND REPAIR THEM!!

This place has alot of theaters but it is dirty and has a rundown look over the last several years. We ordered food and it took over 25 minutes to be prepared. The 2 employees were not in a rush even though there was a growing line waiting for food items. The unkempt soda/condiments areas, bathrooms and slow response time for food ordered were the worst. The theater itself was tidy and the chairs were comfy.

This is my favorite theatre in Bloomington/Normal, but until they find out a better way to deal with disruptive movie goers, I will not return. The last three movies I've been to in the last two months have been plagued by loud individuals who talk through out and are on their phones towards the front. There have been verbal arguments between movie goers to get these disruptive people to be quiet during the middle of the movie!. The theatre manager came in several times to try and catch them, but they promptly fell silent then returned to being obnoxious as soon as they left. We received movie passes and apologies, which is fine, but what's the point of a free movie if it's going to be ruined as well?

First time visiting the Marcus theater. Absolutely loved it. They were planning Howl's Moving Castle subtitled so we drove a hour to see it. We will definitely be back.

Literally the last 3 times i have been here the entire credit card system is down and their atm is out of service. I get once but 3 times over 2 months span of time is a little ridiculous. At that point its just wasting everyone that shows up for movies time.

The movie and seats were wonderful. The volume was so high it was uncomfortable and the drinks were insanely high priced. $7-8 for a Pepsi??? They could charge less than half of what they want for popcorn and drinks and still make a big profit.

Chairs are comfortable. The food is great. It's fantastic that they sell beers. The atmosphere is a little to crazy. Wish security was a bit more proactive. I only saw one officer. By the time he checked one theater kids were getting loud on the eating tables and the lounge. Cleanliness could also be more important as there were full garbages and plenty of flies. This placer has the ability to be amazing if the right management is out in place !!

They have nice seats that recline, but some kids were throwing candy and change, when we told somebody up front, they said they would send someone and they never did, the guy didnt seem to concerned about it either. He asked what theater and when I was explaining a little on where they were, he kept trying to walk away, so the kids got away with throwing stuff, making inappropriate noises, and yelling during the movie.

There’s no problems but it’s not anything great. To be clear: 3 stars means perfectly average. The popcorn is good but the butter ruins the flavor. This theater now has “fancy” reclining and roomy seats, but I feel these days almost every theater has that.

Awesome. Late night show and IMAX experience makes watching a movie fun. There are decent number of screens so you have many options i.e. lots of movie options. Only the fact that the seats in IMAX were not recliner that was missing, it would be great if they had that but again they do have heat control seats which I am not a crazy about but FYI I am letting you know. Hope you enjoy your movie

Was not impressed on how dirty the floors and fountain drinks were. Food everywhere and soda spilled all over the county. I’d be be pressed to go back until they can improve their cleanliness. And why do we need police at the movies. Is this an unsafe area now? I thought it was a great growth area and now I see cops at the theater. That’s a little concerning.

We like going here but we ordered actual food not just popcorn and the lady cooking it didn't have a hair net or hat on. She had her hair down not tied back at all. The price for the food quality is a bit high. But just can't get over how she wasn't wearing something and she was cooking a lot of food. Doubt I will order anything other than popcorn from now on.

Prices for movies and food are absolutely ridiculous. For example, I paid $25 for the ticket to a 4 pm movie, a large drink and large popcorn. Had I gone to the theater across town, I would have paid $17 for the same movie and snacks.

This was my first time going to Marcus Theaters. I had never been to a theater that assigned seats, but it made sitting less awkward and you knew when you paid where you would be sitting. In addition, the seats recline and were quite comfortable. I went to see Marvel's Avengers: Endgame. The movie itself was over three hours long. As you can imagine if I had gone to the AMC 14 theaters I would have hurt quite a bit by the end of three hours. I would personally recommend this theater and would go again to try out their IMAX.
