This theater has been completely remodeled. It doesn't look anything like it did in the past. The bar, that was built in the lobby, is beautiful. Security guards are in full effect!

I went to this theater for the first time yesterday. It's a beautiful theater with lots of movie choices. The only problem was it was not clean. I went to the ladies room and the floors was so sticky. I told my husband about it and he said it was the same in the men's bathroom. Inside the theater was nice but the other areas needing cleaning. I also want to mention I was there at 11:30am so I'm not sure how it could've gotten dirty so fast. Other than that it is a very large and beautiful theater.

This is no longer Chatham 14 Theaters but now Movie Studio Grill. It is a great improvement from the order theater. As with many others....there is a full service bar. A kitchen. As well as delivery to your seat in the theater. Getting up for snacks and missing the film was the worst part of going to the movies.

This place is great and the new service they added. The staff are friendly and young . I think they are doing a great job in learning the new features and services they offer. The place is very clean the food is great. The sound and picture Quality is Awesome. They are very friendly to the community as well. Hiring over 150 people from our community. It’s a great place to meet after work for a drink and bar food . Their is always something going on with networking with others from our community. If you have negative thoughts stay on your side of town and keep moving.

It was enjoyable at first after being remodeled. One could order and pay for their food, then it was bought to their seats. However, two weeks ago I went to this theater and you had to order your food from your seats which didn't seem like a bad idea, but it was a bad idea. The servers were kind and most were respectful. However as I watching the movie, orders were being placed, and near the end of the movie, the servers came to collect the bill from movie goers. I missed the end of the movie because of the servers being in my way and the discussions about the bills between the servers and movie goers. When I arrived home, I called at least seven times to complain and was either disconnected or transferred to another extension where I left my cell to voice my displeasure. To this day, no one has returned my call.

Completely different from when I was here 13-14 years ago, staff is horrible, urinals running over in the restroom, food is nasty, soda and popcorn on the floor in front of counter, and empty cup in the cup holder of my seat. Worse experience I have ever had at a theater.

Will NEVER come back to this theater EVER, really beautifully decorated and clean, HOWEVER, the service is HORRIBLE, they dont allow you to stand in line and place your food or popcorn order, you get serviced, yeah you would think thats cool right; NOT, no one come to service you until 1 hour later, not to mention you dont receive your food until an hour later as well, Thats totally not fair, considering the movie is almost over or half way in, you have the waiter going around taking orders not in order “WHILE THE MOVIE IS PLAYING MIND YOU” interrupting the movie. Totally not acceptable.

The food was good and the seats were comfortable. They offer a lot of special showings that include the $5 Tuesday and childrens screenings all summer at 11 am. However, the service was very slow. It took about 45 minutes to get nachos and a milkshake that was melted by the time it arrived. Service at the bar was also slow. Plus the ladies bathroom needs some work. There were stalls with no coat hook, the trashcans were mounted in a way that blocked the doors and many stalls didn't have tissue.

I was surprised at how they remodeled but you kno what they say you can take the ghetto out the hood but you can't take the hood out the ghetto. Overpriced food and rude employees waa what came with the new look. Couldn't enjoy the movie because it was a group of teenagers who wanted to troll. Requested my money back and was told i could only get credit for another show. Thanks but no thanks.

Pretty cool movie theater that’s well placed just off the expressway, the seats each have their own tray and the theater has a bar, the drinks here appear to be overpriced for the portions. The seats do have the nifty option of letting you call waitstaff to place an order at any point in the movie which is cool. Edit: After returning here for my second viewing of Endgame I realized that the sound in some of the viewing rooms is really treble focused and very lacking in bass. The movie came through incredibly tinny and unsatisfying. Took off a star till I notice its fixed.

The food is good but takes far too long to come out the atmosphere is not relaxing people are loud the seats are squeaky, and the over all experience is mediocre. I brought my girlfriend here a few times the first was ok but my seat wouldn't stop squeaking, the second time people wouldn't shut up and almost got in a fight in the theater. There's allot of potential here but if they aren't careful they will lose alot of business.

1. Waiting time. I missed the 3:30pm show, had to wait until 4pm. I was there at 3:15, bought a ticket at 3:45. On Monday, always have 2 people (at least) working the ticket box, whether a crowd is expected or not. As a manager you must plan for the unexpected. Especially working in the theater. 2. Customer service: a 3; and the guy at the bar was 22 yrs old and knows everything. I think not! PLEASE tell him to shut up and just make the drinks. 3. Black Panther & food was good. 4. Theatre was nice and clean.

I took my nephew attending our first Christmas movie for the season. We enjoyed the movie but hated the service. The movie was playing for at least 20 min before we placed our order. We got the order in pieces ie; icee drink 15 min later popcorn 20 min later pizza 10 min later cookies 10 min later and I never received my entree. The manager gave an effort to fix it by returning money for the entree and free tickets. However we were still disappointed and if the establishment does not address there time management issue they will lose customers.

The Food service tonight was horrible. I'm not sure if the way we had to order from our seats is done during the day. But they waited until the movie actually started to take orders. It took over an hour to get our food and the order was incorrect. When they brought the bill I was charged extra for food that came with the 2 for 28. The starter Nachos wasn't given to us until the movie was over and my bill was still incorrect. Since I had to keep leaving my seat I missed a nice portion of the movie.

Oh, this was the worst! How can you purchase a large popcorn and run out of butter? My niece purchased food in the theater and her order was late and incorrect also. I WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR THE LARGE POPCORN!

For me this theater is still considered a little secret. There's nothing super glamorous about the place, it's just very well kept and pleasant. The location is easy to find and takes you through a little mall with wonderful stores, bakeries and restaurants. Friendly and efficient staff and lovely seating inside. Perfectly air conditioned, not too aggressive like some theaters.

I attended the theater on Tuesday, a $5.00 discount day. Of course, many Seniors were there. I was particularly impressed by how they treated seniors and people with disabilities who were having difficulty walking or finding their seats. A young man carried their trays, escorted them to their seats, and escorted them out of the theater. HOW WONDERFUL! I have made this theater my FAVORITE because of their treatment of patrons. Moreover, there is plenty of parking, it is close to the train, and prices are THE BEST!

I visit this place twice in one week and I just knew the second around they was gone have it together especially after I spoke with a manager but nope bad service both time around the first time I didn't receive my food until my movie was over and my sliders was so cold drink was flat as hell i ask for another one wait 30 minutes for that it was just the worst service ever they need to go back to the old way let people order their food when they walk in. It was just all bad both days the young lady never come back to check just keep your change yall need more people and some people in that kitchen

Yesterday me, my daughter and a friend of hers went to see Black Panther and half way through the movies her friend passed out. We thought he was sleep and tried to wake him, but he would not respond . Finally help came from the people who work at the theater. They were so helpful, especially Mr. Charles Lam. He eventually was able to get the young man up and help him to walk toward the ambulance that was awaiting in the hallway. It turned that the young man was having a seizure. Thank you Charles and your crew. God bless you.

I don't usually write reviews of any kind but I stopped going to this theater years ago due to violence before they did new construction on this place. Today I went because I figured it wouldn't be too much drama since it's early. I went there to see the new Star Wars movie called "Solo". I got there to catch the early show at 10am. During all the new movie trailers, there was a very large glitch on the screen that showed a third of the screen in shaded yellow and the rest in regular colors. I noticed a few people getting agitated and told the employees. The movie went for about 6 minutes before it was stopped because of the glitch and everyone in the room was asked to get up, grab your good and go into another room across the hall due to the glitch. We get in the next room and everything seemed ok all the way up until towards the end where another movie aired over the one we were already watching. I missed the best part of the ending of this movie because of this. I'll never go back to this theater. Its always unorganized. They forget people's food that was ordered. There were 2 or 3 people sitting waiting for food to come that they ordered in the beginning of the movie. They hit the service order button but nobody showed up. They had to go back out and get the food they ordered. I felt bad for everyone in there today including myself.

I like the upgraded theater by it's new ownership. But, I've complained about them not using their surround sound speakers for years. The managers state that they either have no clue of what's going on, or promised to use them next time, or replace the speakers within the near future each time I've brought it to their attention. Not having this issue resolved & choosing to go outside of my community to ensure that I get a quality movie experience is beyond comprehension.

Conveniently located near the expressway, the theater is clean. They offer a pretty large dining choices for a movie theater, mostly things you normally find on an appetizer menu. They have snack choices found at most movie concession stands:giant-sized candy bars & boxes of candy, icecream, popcorn, and soda. Along, with quite a few adult beverage selections on the drink menu. The staffing could be increased at the box office. The wait times were very long. Here's where the first star was lost! A manager came over to "help" the solo cashier by opening another line which he hand a hand-held scanner and only assisted those paying with debit/credit cards. So, those who had already waiting a long time who made it to the head of the line were expected to continue to wait if paying with cash. Who does this? On the other hand online advanced purchase are permitted. What kept this spot from earning the final star was they offer wait staff after ordering at the counter or by selecting a call button at your seat. I sat through an entire movie looking for a response to pressing my service button during the very first preview of coming attractions. Maybe the waiter will show up for my order if I go back?

Totally remodeled throughout! Spacious lobby with a large rectangular bar in the center. Comfortable sitting areas with sofas and plush armchairs, tables & booths on the parameter of the lobby. Choose your movie and plush reclining armchair seat assignment. Order tradition popcorn, candy and soda or choose from a menu with a large selection of made to order food items that are actually delicious. Loved the chicken nachos & the slider trio which come in chicken or beef

I was expecting to go see a good movie and sit in nice reclining chairs with some good nachos and peppers BUT the nachos were horrible not the original they are trying to do to much and the food is nasty I paid 10 dollars for cheese fries and dint know what I got because that was not cheese and they took one big baking potato cut it and you that for 10 dollars they should be ashamed of themselves. I will never go there again.

Movie theater itself was nice and the sound was great but the bathrooms are stil in really bad shape. They are often a mess, soap dispensers usually empty and toilet tissue not replaced in stalls. If they could at least keep them clean and orderly perhaps they could get a 5 star rating.

It's about time our community has a Theatre with good food, good drinks and a pleasant staff. I would recommend my friends to go and support. I feel safe and relax watching the movie of my choice. I don't have to go out of my neighborhood to enjoy a good movie, plus we have free parking. Prices are decent. My cousin went and she usually go downtown, she was very impress and stated she will not go downtown anymore. She felt privileged and so did I.

Love that they have $5 dollars Tuesday every week. I am able to take all the kids and get popcorn and drinks. The only downside is they never have enough staff to take orders or bring your order to you in the theater. We waited 20min just for nachos that didn't have many chips with the toppings. I'll still come back because it is cheap and there is a lot of free parking.

Beautiful place however, 15 bucks for a drink I don't even pay that much at a club. Now the food would be decent if they found away to keep it warm from the kitchen to the theater. Suggestions purches those metal carts they have at the hospital to put the food in, that will help keep the food warm.

Saw movie last night even though it says I was here 10 months ago LOL. I used to come here as a kid and I remember when they had the arcade in the right-hand corner when you came in. Since then a lot of changed. I'm not really big on movie food, but it's good to see you able to push a button and order your food from the theater... As the service Once Upon A Time In This Place sucked. They could get better a little bit faster so there's not a lot of people running back and forth and the aisles while you're enjoying your movie but other than that... Pretty good Improvement and we need this in Chatham since they want to start closing everything! Support this place

The theater is nice and nasty. It’s smells of urine in the corridor, turns you off from eating. Theater floors slippery and sticky. Clean the joint. Nachos are ridiculously expensive for them to be served from cups. Dipping Nachos should never be 7.50$ and a soda 9.50$ is outrageous 17.85$ for some Luke warm cheese in a cup. Never again. Clean it up AMC.

This theater has greatly improved. The seats in the front of the theater recline, and they were very comfortable. I always thought the screen was too close in the front of the theater. But they weren't. Only thing I don't eat fried food, so I'm hoping one day they will have something grilled. My family loved all the fried food they have, and they bring the food to You. I now live in Las Vegas and was very surprised to visit CHICAGO and see a renovated theatre in our community, something done nicely for US! The bar is top notch, very strong drinks!!! They're still working out the kinks serving food, however, the food is VERY VERY GOOD, I haven't had a GOOD 100% groundbeef burger in a long time!!! WITH ALL THE FAKE MEAT THAT'S SERVED THESE DAYS! Anyway, the seats were a bit disappointing, small and don't recline. I'm 5'6" and the chair stopped in the middle of the back of my upper thigh. Overall, I'm glad I don't have to go out of the neighborhood to experience something nice. Hopefully the millenials won't ruin the experience!!! P.S. Wait staff manager Jerome, and Bar manager Charles, were very helpful and considerate. They accepted constructive criticism very well. They're always willing to accommodate, IF THEY'RE INFORMED THERE'S AN ISSUE!!!

Wonderful upgrades! This is my second time here, but unfortunately this may be my last or last option. Coming into the theater there was only 1 line to purchase tickets so the line was out of the door. After 5 min or so, They then began to direct us to the self serve kiosk to purchase. This was totally fine. Yet I do recommend allowing millennials to attempt to do this and older folks to stick with traditional, as this could alleviate wasting time. Going to the bar, there was a lot of debris which staff did clean up yet picking up my drink I noticed a sour smell coming from the counter top. Ordering food was by far a breeze. I didn’t get the luxury of ordering at my seat which personally I just don’t trust. Walking into the theater the carpeting smelled of urine.. Staff was very attentive but couldn’t seem to address movie goers and their consistent chatter. This definitely took away from the experience overall and turned me off completely (along with the urine smell). I’m currently shushing everyone because my kids can’t hear a damn thing. My people—WE have to do better and take better care of our establishments and also be better peers when attending films. YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONES THERE! This is NOT Okay! I really want my money back

We had drinks at the bar and they delivered the food to our seats in the theater. Nice variety of liquor at the bar. Food was a little slow but very tasty.

The chicken tenders was hard as a rock. I ordered Red Hot Wings and it was wings with a side of Hot Sauce...... WHAT THE &$@#. The SMG -23 Drink was the only reason I didn't leave a - (minus) 2 star rating

Love this place since that damn upgrade! Super freakin awesome! I feel like im on a plane (remember the movie "Soul Planes") lol Just lit. Starting to also see a mix crowd - super anti segregated and such. Everyone laughing and strangers of all races and walks of life conversing. No conflicts - seats food drinks lighting GREAT!. I love it. And the crowds are amazing now. We need more of these. We need more of this.

Had the worse experience of my life! What had the potential to be a nice movie theater in our community has turned into a hangout for thugs/gangs & FREAKS all under the age of 18! Parents please keep your children away. As a full grown adult accompanied by my husband - I Was AFRAID. Disrespectful youth EVERYWHERE. Sneaking in and out the movie theater, running up and down the theater, sitting in seats they didn't pay for, mob action in the hallway, blocking bathrooms, girls grinding on each other in the concession stand. Walking to our car witnessing mob action in front of theater, guys running in the parking lot, jumping in and out of cars. This place is a death trap waiting to happen! All I kept thinking was WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS? WHERE IS THE POLICE? WHERE IS THEATER SECURITY? But I realized it's in the hood who cares!

I had light on service never came. Tried getting servers attention only for them to keep going. Mind you previews werent on with less than 20 people in theater.#IGNORED

I haven't been in a full service theater but recently I went with my Kids to see incredible #2 and I'm giving 5Stars Because there was a Young female server by the name marie Who was Excellent at my Last Visit very Helpful Playful with my Kids before the Movie started answered all there question she even Corrected manager Issues with out a Manager she was awesome I loved her energy and Her customer service skills I will be returning as Soon as Possible because if there learning customer service skills like hers I will always Return keep up the excellent work studio Movie Grill

The movie house is at a great location for drivers. However if you are taking CTA you will have to walk about 2: 1/2 city blocks to get there. Once you are there you will enjoy your stay. I was surprised to see the service area in the lobby. It was nice to see a movie house looking better than the ones on the northside of the city. This is my personal opinion.

This is my favorite theater. The friendly atmosphere, and service is 5star. I always recommend this theater. It is certainly, full service and community minded. A day out at this theater is a "special event." Thank you. Concurrent cleaning is practiced well. Our comfort and safety is obvious, from these staffers. Thank you all.

I like the new look. The setup is beautiful. I ordered my tickets online and when we got there we were directed to the kiosk. Get to the kiosk to print the tickets and it wouldn't print. The young lady monitoring the area went in the booth to print them but the same results....didn't print. Get to the ticket check and the guy looks at us crazy because we have a piece of receipt with our seat numbers. The food is just okay. Nothing too spectacular. The food runners mixed the orders up and when my cousin asked about her food the lady was nonchalant. Her food was cold when she finally got it. This theater has a lot of potential, I really like the direction of it. Its just the location and the people are going to do the same things they did before the remodel. Then you see security having to escort these irate teens out. Just unpleasant to be around. But it has potential. So I'm going to keep going. I like the feel of this place. Maybe I'll try a different item on the food menu next time.

Nothing is as advertised, the call for service buttons do not work, none of the customer service personnel are letting you know that you have to order your food from the concession stand and they bring it to your seat, the staff is unfriendly, the ticket taker was complaining about having to work all day standing up, then nicest person was the young man who brought the food.

After the renovation everything looks so different. It looks really nice. They have a bar now and they serve you food as you're watching the movie.

They have been doing $5 Tuesday for quite a while now and they do not schedule enough staff to work. The bar only have 3 to 4 bartenders and they don't move fast at all. Waiting to place a drink order is crazy. It could take 10 to 15 minutes easy. They are nothing like the one in Wheaton.

I used to come here at least 2 to 3 times a month. My mom and husband loved it here because we could get things from the concession stand and it was quick. I came back yesterday(2/1/19) and it was worst than ever. I had to wait almost until the end of the movie to get my food and instead of swiping my husband's card right there, the waitress took off for more than 20 mins. From now on, I will travel a little more to an amc and get the movie experience that I used to love. I won't come back until they change back to the original concession stand.

I would rate my experience at the Chatham 14 Theatre a 5 * experience. I went alone and I enjoyed the movie. The theater was clean, quiet and your staff was friendly and accommodating.
