Movie was good however, I'm giving the theater 3 stars because it just seem unorganized at the ticket counter, the lines, non-stubs members lane, stub members lane, etc... Even the employees seemed confused and overwhelmed ( the same goes for the concession lines/counter.) You didn't know where people were going, here, there....just chaotic.

Food was great as was the staff. However our move started 10 minutes later the audio was very poor and the seats were extremely uncomfortable,. My wife and I had to keep moving around in our seats to avoid the seat's frame. To top it off the seats were small and we couldn't cuddle like a good number of theaters allow.

This used to be my favorite place. Even though I dont recline in the dream loungers when I go to Frankfort or crestwood, it still is a more comfortable seat. Schererville seats reminds me of old auditorium seats and I cant relax! Sorry to say I havent been here in a while because of that!

This place is always clean and quick. Even the busiest times never delay entry for both tickets and snacks. They get crowds in and out of each theater smoothly and the quick prep in between is impressive. IMAX is a must for action movies.

I arrived at the wrong Schereville theater today and amidst the confusion of having vouchers signed to go to the right one (which turned out to be the wrong one lol!), the kind young man helped me figure out which tester to go to and let me keep the vouchers anyway! I was really impressed by his kindness and patience. We will definitely be back to this theater (for the correct movie!).

This is a great theatre to go to for any occasion. I have been going here since i was a kid and still go to this day. Although the prices have went up quite dramatically it is still a nice experience. They serve food and drinks. Its always clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Easy ways to purchase tickets to avoid lines. There is even an arcade which is my favorite before and after a movie. IMAX and 3D movies are shown here. Kid friendly.

Great customer service. However, the theater seats are very uncomfortable for watching a movie. They are not the new recliner seats like most AMC theaters. Also, this location does not have a bar!

Overpriced!!!! The movie ticket was a decent priced but the concessions OMG!!! I Paid almost $30 for 2 sodas pretzel bites and a small popcorn. Portage I-Max Theatre has a much better concession stand and their rewards program is awesome. AMC needs to do better!!!

This is the theater we always go to, but man, do they need a seat refurb in the IMAX! You can sit, and feel metal under the seat cushion. Not good when paying so much more for the IMAX experience.

The AMC theaters haven't been updated in 10+ years. The seats are so worn out and uncomfortable. I'd rather spend the same $12 on a ticket and drive a little further to Illinois where they have actual competition so they are constantly updating their theaters. The amc popcorn has really gone downhill and is just mostly kernels so you just eating seeds basically. 0/10 definitely would not recommend

We usually like this movie theater but tonight at the lion king there was a mess. A lady with a baby about 2- 3 year was screaming talking and playing a drum ? In front of us there were teenagers who were jumping over the chairs and leaving and coming back every 10 minutes. Not sure if there is any supervising by employe just by looking to cameras but there should be some reaction to behavior like that. Am reading a lot issues about seats which I didn't find that bad. Staff always friendly, as far movie tickets they have average price. I paid for one large popcorn and three drinks about 32 $ which I belive that is little over price. Usually we have great time but today seems we had bad luck.

AMC theater is a good theater to watch movies at. Unfortunately it is dirty at times, which isn't always an issue, but that doesn't matter to me that much. I still enjoy coming here and eating their overly priced food items and beverages.

I was a big fan of this theater for years, but man my last visit really turned me off from this location, after we got our tickets using AMC A-List we got there and they were closing the doors and letting the last few people in, we were 10 feet from the door and they locked it as they let the last couple in, there weren’t anymore people behind us or any large group coming, it was just us, they closed the doors and I looked at my phone to check the time and it was still a few minutes before they were supposed to lock the doors all the way, we waited figuring he was just checking the people in front of us in and was going to come back for us but they didn’t, we started knocking, but they refused to even acknowledge us, I tried calling and they wouldn’t pick up, finally this couple came up next to us and they started banging on the door, something we didn’t do, and the manager reluctantly went to the door, he opened it, and let them in, didn’t card them or anything, then he gives us a lecture about being there on time, that they lock the doors 15 minutes after the last showtime, but the thing is we were there before the 15 minutes and they ignored us, then on top of that, he carded me and my friend, why didn’t he card them? We both had A-List, why was he ok with them going in without checking their ID’s and not us, Why didn’t he give them the same lecture he gave us, especially with them getting their after us? After coming here for years, that’s it, I’m done with them, that’s not how you treat your costumers, I’ll be going to other theaters from now on, that theater is getting old anyhow, it’s not worth the hassle.

It feels like they are just trying to to get as much money as they can before they knock it down. Old theatre seating well past it's useful life, I could feel the springs or the frame. I was also distracted by the AC rattling during the quiet scenes of the movie.

The facilities are nice, but their "touch screen ticket kiosks" are the WORST.... They do not respond to touch well, are slow to process and the ticket purchasing process could be done quicker by human to human interaction.... Be prepared to wait even if you're the only person in line.

This place is a nightmare. 2 kiosks and 1 person taking cash for tickets, and then you have some sort of premier douches cutting in front of you. So that was 20 minutes. Then you go to get something to drink and eat, they don’t bother telling you that it’ll be another 20 minutes because they only have one oven to cook food for everyone. Then you get to the theatre and the lights stay dimly lit for the entire movie, and for paying $55.00 between tickets and concessions......the screen is ridiculously small. There was also a very foul smell in the theater. What a dump. Seriously........a dump.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had here. I come here a lot and tonight was just an horrible experience. I bought my ticket and a ticket for someone else. I purchased both tickets with my credit card and the guy took the other one to hold for my friend. I was kind of in a rush because the movie had already started. I must’ve pressed the wrong ticket and instead of letting me know the big guy with red hair who took my other ticket made my guest pay the full price when he came to the front. Instead of paying the difference which was a couple of dollars he charged him for both tickets. That’s outrageous considering the fact that I come there almost every weekend. So I remember the guy and other people that work there. The place is already making profits left and right. I feel that he took advantage of the situation and overcharged him. Prices there are already high. He acted like I walked in there for free when I only made a simple mistake. It was nobody even standing there to take my ticket because there short staff. Anyone could simply walk past but instead I choose to pay for both tickets. I was too upset and I don’t consider myself going back. I’ve been to both movie theaters and instead of going back to this one I rather spend my money else where with more comfortable seating.

The movie experience is pretty much always easy. I have my Stub rewards card, for certain perks. My only complaint is this.. The volume on The movie has been seemingly low the past few visits we've gone. I get the movie louder in my basement. Overall I like this theatre

Bathrooms were trashed and they charged us full price for a cup of water without telling us first. There was one person in line in front of us and it took 15 minutes to get our tickets. The Seats are old and uncomfortable. They desperately need to update this theatre since it was $15 a ticket!

This theatre is so messy & the customer service was awful. We went to see a movie a few days ago, the ceiling in the theatre fell down on someone. There was a huge hole in the ceiling & they shut down the movie & had everyone get out. There was no refund, we were expected to go find another room with the same movie rolling & sit in there. All of the rooms were filled, we missed our movie & were only offered “passes” to return another day to see the movie. Super inconvenient, but we showed up the very next day very early & all of them were sold out. I’m not sure how they expected us to redeem passes for such a huge movie. We weren’t offered any refunds, any complimentary snacks, nothing. It was a huge inconvenience & it was handled terribly. I’ve never been so disappointed.

Clean and not too busy. Guess people renting movies thru tv these days. I still like to go guess I'm old fashioned . it's still a nice experience for me. Not sure but there are days or a particular day when admission is offered at lower price. I found the admission on regular day to be a bit high along with refreshments and snacks. All I can say is be prepared.

So in that theater was first built, it was under a different name, but all the movies were always $2.50. I remember when they raise the prices but not that bad now, absolutely insane. A matinee show is a $9. I don't understand how they can stay in business it's not like they have the beautiful loungers or anything. Very disappointed.

Just watched IT Chapter 2 in Theatre 3. The speakers are kinda shot ruining the whole movie atmosphere. Specifically the Volume and Bass were so low it made certain lines and thumps sound very muffled, it even ruined the Bad Boys trailer when the guns were being fired lol Do not watch a movie in Theatre 3!

I spent the most uncomfortable theee hour of my entire live watching IT on these uncomfortable seat they have. Almost no padding, I could feel the metals on the chair. Very tight spaces also. I normally try to stay away from this movie theater in Schereville as much as I can.

The seats are filthy with stains all over them. I'm so disappointed that I paid over $15.00 to see Spider Man in the IMAX theater when the screen looked the same as a regular viewing. I could have went to the AMC in Crestwood and paid for the 3D show. I will never be back at this location and will never waste money on a so called IMAX film. Not to mention the mini Tostitos nachos for $8.00 with cold cheese.

We love the reserved seating for the theaters and the addition of some more substantial food options. Even though they charge a premium for these, they are very good quality. Use the app and avoid the line, a much faster way to get to your seat quickly.

This place just looks old and is in dire need of renovation. The rumored addition of alcohol to the menus will just make the place dingier. All of the special programs for people just make me feel like a second class citizen since I don't come often enough to warrant paying for a program to cut ahead in all of the lines. Just disappointed.

They have currently done some updating to this location. Which I was pleased to see. More self pay kiosks have been added. There are also new menu features, like gourmet popcorn. I do however, fondly miss the time before this location was an AMC. The free refills on drinks and popcorn were great, and didn't require points or a $ requirement. Oh what was....

Sound was horrible seats are dirty and it was stuffy and hot. Last time for us. The price for entertainment should be satisfactory at best. No surround sound at a theater! That's pushing it. Its a no for me. Check around 1st..and be comfortable at another theater.

Im am so disappointed in the new ASSIGNED SEATING, this was the worst movie expierince we have ever had here. We were smashed in like Sardines and only 1/2 the theater was filled. I will never take my family here again ,especially when the average night can get upto $100 a visit... If people cant get thier early or time then they snoose they loose. I will wait for these movies to stream before we go back to another AMC again... NOTE: why dosent managment offer assigned seating on the first 2weeks of a movie instead of the entire time its out. That way family's like ours can wait a bit untill the movie has no more assigned seeting. Then we would make the visit to the theater. That would be a good compromise for all your customers.....

Tonight my cousin and I wanted to see the new John Wick 3 and when we arrived a few minutes after it officially started the doors were locked. The staff came out and told us to leave, the manager was incompetent and hesitated when he spoke. Having come here an even later time a different day, my cousin and I were able to tell they were lying and just trying to close early. AMC just lost out on a couple hundred bucks from all the people their staff turned away and maybe more so after my family and myself quit going to this theatre.

This is my go to place for movies. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Always a good selection of movies with a wide range of show times. Their Stubs programs and Senior discount are awesome. You can see a great movie for a great price. Food selection is good but a little pricey.

Why do you take peoples money for premier and a list only to ignore the perks they are supposedly getting? I was next in line, but the concessions stand just took people from the general admission line. After 4 people got called up I asked them what I was paying for. The workers got irritated with me, I ordered my drink and fries. Waited 15 minutes because they "forgot" to put them in, but they obviously did it because i called them out on messing up. I worked here and at 12 3 years ago. I know what's supposed to happen... and nobody at the customer service desk either. Movie was great, clean theater, customer service, meh.

This place has given up. It's always dirty and sloppy. I came in for the first showing of the day and it was trashed. How is that possible? The seating needs to be updated. I can hear the diaphragm torn on the speakers in multiple theaters there. Clean your place up and take a little pride in what you do. You deserve negative stars.

Time for an update. I haven't been here in a couple of years so I thought they would have the recliners. Only one exit in the theater I was in and getting out was a hassle. Foot traffic out of the theater was bottleneck. I'll be back when they update. Plus side is the staff.
