Really amazing experience. An old fashioned drive in movie theatre in the heart of America. You'll be up late, as movies start at sundown. It's well worth the stop.

Ryan Robinson

Happened upon this theater while on vacation. The screen is falling apart and could use some repair, the projector is a little dim, the radio transmitter is of medium quality (some static comes through), no one was at the concessions stand, the movie stopped right before the end, and the girl running it struggled to fix this so we left after a few minutes of hoping to see the end.

Max

We go everytime we are up in this area. Such an amazing experience and the burgers are great!

Rebecca Koenig

We love The Spud! We usually go for the Retro nights but they play all the current movies throughout the week.

I've lived drive-ins since I was old enough to remember. So much fun and good/typical options for food and snacks. I love that they have a grassy area with tables and benches in the very front. I'm so glad it's here in Teton Valley as an option!!!

Fun night, nostalgic drive in movie, the screen is a little worn, and some of the end spots view is on a Angle.

We booked an airbnb RV parked at Spuds Drive-in at Driggs for our trip to Grand Teton. I would totally suggest to go for this option and the theater plays shows every night. It was an unexpected recreation to lodge in the RV and still be able to watch the movie after a tired day of trekking and fun. The RV pictures as below were very comfortable for a really affordable price. Couldn't take pictures of the drive-in during the night.

I have been here probably seven times in my life and I love it every single time. Fun family place!

Just like the old days. Very fun. Great skyline at sunset and clear view of the stars too.

Troy Helming

Food was not good, nothing healthy and not real cheese on the cheeseburger. But the movie experience was fun and enjoyable, despite average sound quality in both of our cars.

It was a nice little drive-in with very pleasant staff and tasty concession food. I took a star off because the movie screen was in dire need of repair and the fact that the picture quality wasn't very good due to the darkness of the movie/screen. They really need to add some more light above/around the screen because it was hard to see the images on the screen at times. We watched Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw. Other than that, it was a lovely drive-in.

Tye Taylor

So nostalgic very comfy ,and a lot of fun for everyone

Great family experience!

Megan Johnson

I love the experience of the drive in! Especially since I went when I was a child and then now taking my kids. What was horrible was the line for the concessions... we waited 35 mins and not because of the line of people but because the workers were not organized and kept stopping to talk to each other and not about work related things. Went and saw the lion king started standing in line at the part when simba was first talking to scar about ruling the kingdom and coming back to our car when he runs away and meets timon and pumba.....

great atmosphere. old fashioned drive in with snack stand and children's play area. Photos with Murphy (the name of the spud truck) is a must. very reasonable prices.

Daniel Sturm

I went here all the time as a kid, and it's as good now as it was then. I didn't give five stars because the speakers at the front of the theater cut out intermittently (we could have used the car speakers, but we didn't want to risk running out of battery.)

Travelin Junkie

I actually stayed here at their Airbnb when visiting Yellowstone. The staff was super helpful and extremely nice. The projector quality was phenomenal and the sound played through your car speakers. A really fun place.

Great reminder of how easy life was. Got to bring my wife and son here and they loved it. Love the Spud. The triple triple and double double are great too.

The Spud is fun. The food is great. Movie selection is usually pretty good. My wife loves the malts, I like the spicy fries myself.

We have been here the last 2 weekends the food hasn’t been good and they don’t even give us our whole order!!! They are walking around on their phones instead of taking care of their costumers! We have always loved coming to the drive in but not sure I will be back!

Jeremy Stover

Probably one of my favorite places in United States. Stay at the Airbnb if you can!

This place will bring back a lot of memories. Great family activity. This Place is a little bit run down but to be expected due to the age.

Amazing!

Reuben Shea

Fantastic atmosphere. The screen is a tad dim and the radio just decent but the atmosphere, friendliness, and food (their food is so gooooood) makes it a must go! Ticket prices are only $7 for a double feature. Completely worth it, even when they have the occasional technical hiccups.

Madison Munnerlyn

This is the funnest drive in I have ever been to! If you are anywhere near the Tetons, you need to spend a night watching a movie at the Spud. It’s so cute and the staff are all so friendly. You can grab a burger, fries, and a shake (or tater tots, etc.) and they are GOOD old-fashioned like they should be. They play movies that are still in theatre, but some drive-ins only play older movies. It is a great value! The theme of the drive in theatre was old fashioned with license plates, old cars, and potatoes for Idaho! Seriously so cute. You can tell they’ve gone above and beyond any other drive in. This was seriously the funnest thing to do in Driggs, Idaho. We will definitely be back

We stayed here in one of the cabins during the winter. It was pretty snug, but super affordable for our two weekend stay. We could drive to Jackson Hole in 45 minutes. The theatre was closed while we visited, but super cute and eclectic!

Crazy cool Americana on the back roads of idaho

Vinelord Troy Mills

Good old fashion fun.

Our family loves the Spud. Sitting on the lawn to watch a movie is so special. Bring a jacket and blankets because it gets chilly! Excellent food, the burgers are extremely tasty. On popular movie nights, get there early because it will take a while for the food to be prepared.

james ray

A wonderful vacation event. Ant man and Wasp. Great fries! Tune your radio and listen as you watch. Be careful for children as you leave

Sierra Wilsey

Jenny-Sarah Jackson

Such a cute and fun spot! The food at the diner is delicious and their vacation rentals are super cute too! Really neat space and experience. Much more than just going to the movies ❤

Great place for a taste of the past! Pretty well-maintained and is a popular place with the locals. Food is tasty, radio sound is crisp and clear. Be aware, they do have a 5 car minimum to be able to show the feature(s). Cost for the double feature is $7 per person.

Joep Koenen

I saw the new Lion King (which I thought was dumb) and had a great experience! Lots of cute groups of people! One little girl ran around the grass in front about a million times--everyone brought their dogs, which were well behaved--and all seemed to be having a good time. Great milk shakes!

Morgann Flake

The Spud Drive In is the perfect classic drive in theatre. It's such a fun environment! The staff is full of the kindest people. They're personable and make the experience even better! If you're looking to eat a great meal during your movie, The Spud's burgers and shakes are delicious! Absolutely stop in for a movie when you're in or near Driggs, you'll have the best time!

Zach Trayner

The Spud is a great drive in! I prefer their huckleberry shake over any if the other places in the area. Worth it just for the shake. Family tradition to go here every time we're in Driggs. Love it.

Hannah C

Lovely cabins at the Spud Drive In that are perfect for our visit to The Grand Tetons. A really unique experience in Idaho. Would have loved to catch a movie there as it seemed like a great drive in. There is a giant potato out front you can't miss it!

Small little drive-in on the side of the road in Idaho. If you are in the area, it's a must-see. There's just one screen and a small snack bar but the atmosphere takes you back to a time when life was simpler. Turn off your phone, grab a couple sleeping bags, and enjoy the show.

Lance Boone

Alison Dobinski

Karin Larsen

This has to be the funnest Drive-In in Western America! The giant spud on the flatbed truck driven by Spud drivers out front is just the beginning. They do a great job of offering an old-fashioned Drive-In experience

Cabaret Dude

Best drive-in any where in the USA!

Pam Lerch

Check out the cabins and airstream on AirBnB! SO CUTE!!!!
