Wonderful movie watching experience. We went here quite a bit when they first opened and haven't been in a while. The seats have been upgraded recently, and it's a fantastic improvement. Snacks are reasonably priced. Just keep in mind they operate on cash only.

there's no way you can beat $3 a ticket! They're not large theaters, they're not super luxurious, but the arm rests between the chairs do lift up out of the way, the seats have enough spring in them that they recline a little, and frankly, the fewer people there, the less noise there is among the audience. It's a great location to take your kids after school or on the weekends at an affordable price. It's definitely worth the 10 minutes off the freeway North of Coeur d'Alene to get to this theater.

Great place to go for a birthday party with a bunch of kids. Kid's combo is OK for the price, but it's served in a very flimsy box/tray thing, so bring along helpers if your are getting more than two.

Great movie and great price. Of course concessions are pricey, but still way cheaper than other theaters. Where else can you get two tickets, two drinks, and popcorn for under 20 bucks! We love our discount theater!

The Hayden Discount Cinemas are the perfect place to go to the movies. Tickets are only $3, regardless of the movie time, but bring cash, no credit cards or debit cards accepted. There is an ATM available on site. This is not a single theater like other discount theaters. There are multiple, smaller screens, I believe six total. Sound and picture are great. You typically can see new releases a few weeks after the big theaters have them. The snack bar has everything you could want. Popcorn, caramel corn, slushes, candies, etc. Do it yourself butter and a variety of seasonings to try on your popcorn. There is also a cotton candy machine that kids love. For three bucks, the machine makes the cotton candy in front of you. No arcade games, just a claw game and some type of key game. Movie nuts can buy $5 DVDs, movie posters, tin signs and buckets, and sometimes the cardboard advertisements. The theater is also at the back of a large shopping complex with a number of fast food restaurants. There are numerous sit- down chain and local restaurants nearby, along with several other entertainment outlets for kids, and area hotels are close by. For us, the short drive from Washington to Idaho is worth it. At only $3 a ticket, you do not feel robbed when the kids spend half the movie needing to go to the bathroom.

I honestly love it there. Reminds me a lot of the old movie theatre that was in postfalls. Growing up in postfalls I absolutely love it there. And went to the movies all the time with family and friends. So going to the hayden discount theatre it's very nostalgic. I used to only go there for date nights with my boyfriend. But now we go just about every saterday night even for double features. We used to go to regal for when new movies showed. But now we wait till it starts to show at the hayden discount one. And for $3.00!!! Like u can not get that good of a deal at other theaters. Even their snack combos are super cheap. Just $11.00 thats so awesome! When u go to regal its like $22.00 to $23.00 for 2 tickets. And then another $20 to $25 or more for snacks. Hayden discount theatre $17 to $18 Regal theatre around $45 to $50 For that price u don't even really care about having comfy seats or not. I just wish they had like punch cards for tickets and snacks lol I'd love that❤

$17 for two tickets, two large drinks, and a large popcorn. 18 if you splurge on Carmel corn. This place is the best. They keep low prices by not paying card fees to a card reading company. So the only take cash. ATM in site that charges a nominal $2.50.

We went here for the first time. We were SO impressed! Very clean, neat, and inexpensive! We are new to the area and have been to the Regal a couple times. The seats at Regal are way to shallow, so much so that I get pain in my legs. I like this theater WAY BETTER!! We also chatted with the owner. We love his business philosophy. He cares about the community and the fact that some people just can not afford the other cinemas. We will be going here often! And we plan to buy the inexpensive snacks to help support the business. 2 people, 1 medium popcorn -$9.50!!

Cash only!! This helps them to avoid credit card processing fees and therefore keeps the cost down! Hayden Discount is a second run, "cheap seats", so if you don't mind waiting a bit after initial release to see a movie, then this is your place! $3 tickets and well priced snacks; my mom and I split a regular bucket of popcorn, 2 bottles of water and a candy each, totaling to $14.50. A night out to see a film, with a complete treat package, for only $20 is a steal! You'd barely get one entrance ticket for that at the local Regal theater. These seats are more comfortable and cleaner. Definitely my favorite theater in town!

Very inexpensive way to watch a movie. Floors are really dirty and sticky (when the carpet is sticky you know it's dirty) and the chair fabric smells like a homeless person. But, for a couple bucks, this is probably the least expensive way to watch a movie other than Redbox or DVD Express. Staff is friendly and Carmel popcorn pretty tasty.

This place is awesome. $3 movies. Cheap concessions. Locally owned. We don't sneak anything in because the prices are so good and we want to support a local business. It also is clean and has good seating since they upgraded their seats a few years back. Definitely worth waiting to see it here than in Regal I don't know why anyone would spend that much anymore with Hayden Discount around.

You have to wait till movies come out on DVD or so and full-priced theatres stop playing them for the Hayden Discount Cinema to start playing them, but tickets are only $3 apiece at Hayden Discount so unless you're desperate to see a new movie it's totally worth the wait. Staff is friendly and popcorn is tasty. Been there several times and will keep going. Appreciate the smaller theatres, too.

Cheap prices, seats are ok but probably need an extra cushion. Saw Detective Pikachu and this one family was running around the theater and talking at high volumes and kicking our chairs. The mother didnt care and was just as rude. We got up and moved away but that's ridiculous. They could've moved since we were there first. Late arrivers should sit in the front. LOL

Very affordable ($3 tickets I mean come on!!) and they recently renovated the theatres and got new projectors! Evem the snacks are cheaper than the regular cinemas too. So family friendly. Only thing, make sure you can pay with cash, although they do have an on-site ATM :)

The venue is clean, and the staff is friendly. Three of us can go the the movies and each enjoy a large pop orn or drink for the price of a single adult ticket at the other cinemas. The only drawback is that the movies have been out a little while, but if you want to experience a movie on the big screen before committing to purchasing it, this is the way to go.

A really nice place to enjoy great movies that won't break the bank. Typical movie theater fare, ice cream, sodas, popcorn and candy. Seats were comfortable, the headrest on the seat was nice as well. They lose a star because it's cash only, they claim it's to keep costs down, but is extremely inconvenient.

IF YOU WANNA BE TREATED LIKE SH** THEN GO HERE. IF NOT SAVE YOUR MONEY. Today I went to see a movie with my family, 3 kids who were super stoked to see a movie. The stuff were unbearably rude and seemed as if they hated their job. The first encounter I had was with a man who I didn’t know was manager. He didn’t smile once and when we had a difficulty he made multiple excuses. Never apologized once. His name is Austin and he is very disrespectful. I won’t go here anymore.
