Fantastic place to watch movies! IMAX and regular theater, both very well kept and always with a friendly staff! Plus the ambience is just awesome, with each theatre having its own theme - very cool! I once accidentally used the lady’s restroom though, completely by accident luckily nobody noticed I don’t think... man that was super embarrassing! But that wasn’t because of the theater I just didn’t look close enough I think and just really had to go.

My "go to" place for first run movies! They have the best popcorn in town. They keep the theatre clean and the seats are well maintained. Ample parking and bargain deals for repeat customers (popcorn bucket!). I rarely go anywhere else.

Clean, quite and very friendly staff. Lots of parking and very few people. Went to a late show 9:30pm and had the entire show to myself. It was a pretty cool feeling watching a movie on the big screen all alone.

Thoroughly disappointed in Majestic Cinemas located in Meridian! Accidently forgot my ID to buy a ticket for a rated R movie, and a very rude employee decided to embarrass me in front of my colleagues. He refused me my ticket and turned us away even though I’m well over the required minimum age. #pisspoormanagement

We weren't hair for team outing at work. The place is clean, the people were polite, the prices were on par with other locations. And I like that you didn't have to pick your seat in advance. One of the ushers took our picture with the giant posters. Even though we were kind of loud and silly nobody kicked us out.

Love the theater and always have but when did an 11 year-old start to qualify as an adult ticket? In what other situation does that happen; voting, driving....when? Ridiculous! I will go preferentially to other theaters where this is not the case, when possible.

The popcorn tasted like it was popped with rancid oil. Told employee and was offered another bag . Tasted the same. Asked to speak to manager and was told he wouldn't talk to anyone unless he knew all the details. I told the employee that I already explained the problem. I was still not allowed to speak with manager. Never go here again.

Standard theater for the most part. The reason for 5 stars is the sound. The volume was set perfectly. Didn't blow out my ear drums and it wasn't too low that I could hear people whispering or eating the whole time.

I am very annoid. My son is autistic and was really looking forward to seeing his favorite movie of all time and they cancelled 2 days before the showing. Very unproffecional in my opinion. Families with special needs sometimes need days in advance to plan out their weekend. Also very very annoid that when I asked if my son could make noise in the theater and informed them about his sensory needs the old man made a very rude face. About my son. Not happy what so ever. And what made me even more mad was when asked about the sensory friendly movie they acted as they didn't know what I was talking about but laterr told me that alot of other people asked the same question.

First time going to the movies here...so prefer this over any of the larger movie theatre in the area. Clean. Staff was so nice. The gentleman at the ticket window was extremely kind..then the girl at the concession stand was very helpful as well. Seats and floors were clean. Parking was easy... Will be back to this location for sure!

It feels a little older than some other cinemas nearby, but everything was clean, and we'll kept. We didn't try the concessions, but it looked like the standard fare. We visited on a Tuesday night, and still got the matinee price! The stadium seats are not reclining, but are plenty comfortable. YMMV.

My movie experience was good. Quiet theater, tasty popcorn, and the bathrooms were well cleaned. But, on the menu the hot dog says that it is 5.00 but actuality it was 6.30. They need to fix their menu.

We recently had my 10 yr old's birthday party here and I would highly recommend it! They had everything set up for us and provided everything I needed. In the end, the manager charged us less than what were we're quoted. The girls had so much fun and really can't say enough about the whole experience. My daughter had a wonderful birthday thanks to the Majestic staff.

It's not the best theater in town but it's got big rooms and more space for people to sit. The concessions are more expensive than most places in town even though they are not the best theater in the area (in my opinion) The sound does not have too much bass and the volume is lower. I like this because other theaters in town hurt my ears. It seems like every time I go here it has some corner full of popcorn I go to this theater 4/5 times that I go to watch a movie.

Love the movies.Don't go often though because prices are outrages for admitting and food/snacks. Like a nice restaurant it's a special treat and the movies have become the same way even on Tuesdays $5.00. To grab a drink/popcorn/hot dog your already hitting $25.00 mark..So love the movies but not the prices.

Nice and clean movie theater. It's a real treat to go here. Staff are friendly. It's sort of a quiet theater, however has lots of parking. The concession stand is well stocked, but like all theaters are overpriced. I got a popcorn (that tasted great) and drink. The restroom is well maintained.

This is our go-to theatre, we see 3-4 movies monthly and usually here. Very unhappy it's been bought by Cinemark. Corporations suck, as a rule, and I fully expect it to be ruined by the corporate mentality. 5 stars for what it's been until now.

I have never met friendlier staff in any movie theater I have ever been to. Every single staff member I interacted with was kind, interested in and chatted with us, and went out their way to provide a good experience. It is honestly the best experience I have ever had at a theater.

I love this place! They have a popcorn bucket you can buy that if you take with you to the theater they will fill it up for only three dollars. Plus, $5 Tuesdays! Thirteen bucks total for two people! Totally worth it

I've never found a bad place to sit in the theater and all the seats are clean and comfortable. Sound is excellent without being too loud. Picture is excellent. If you're willing to spend the money, soda and popcorn are quite tasty. I recommend the Majestic Movie Experience.

I normally love this theater but today I saw something totally wrong. A group of seven kids were in front of me to buy tickets. Before they could even say what kind of movie they were going to, the ticket clerk told them that if they are caught wondering around trying to leave there movie early and movie hop they will be escorted out. She said it at the instruction of her manager( that was maybe a year older then the kids mind you) with the rudest tone. The managers processed to follow them to the concession and then half way to there theater. If you are planning on letting your teens go to movies solo I wouldn’t recommend they do it here.

Awesome theater! Clean and well maintained. Always has the latest movies and helpful employees. Only downside is that it's the same price as the Village Theater, but does not have the reserved seats. On the bright side, you can see brand new packed theater movies without struggling to find a seat.

This is the best theater around if you need accessible seating! Have tried all the theaters in and around Boise. None of them compare. The accessible seats are the same height as my mobility scooter...ease of transfer. Seating is not way down in front. Parking also is way more convenient than those other big theaters. There are no wind tunnels to negotiate on the way to theater in bad weather. Clean theater with friendly staff.

The employees are polite and professional. I can't climb stairs and they have sufficient handicap seating on the entry level of every theater. Since Cinemark has bought the Majestic, some little things have changed. So far I have noticed the theater signage doesn't list the movie showing or change color. The magnets don't work anymore, which is very annoying since I use a walker. There is no in between movie music and the lights might as well be off. The previews started, why turn the lights for the traiers? Hopefully things will get better soon, this was my favorite theater. I do have to mention, 5 dollar Tuesday is back for now.

Great movies. Decent prices. Theaters are occasionally crowded. While I was there the movie I went to see wasn't available even though their website had said it was. :( but the staff there were extremely friendly and the popcorn was amazing! :)

My parents brought me here while I was visiting from out of state, and I was pleased to see that this is not a chain theater! The chain theaters have taken over most of the country, but it seems this place hasnt given in (yet). The ticket pricing seemed to be a bit less expensive than what I pay at home, but the concessions were a bit more expensive. Pros: The theater seemed to be well taken care of, the restroom was clean, and the film/screen quality was flawless. The ticket counter and concessions staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: No reserved seating. It's 2018...reserved seating should be the norm.

My favorite Cinema in the entire area! Always friendly staff, they don't do advanced ticket sales - which I love! Theaters that do that always have boors show up after the movie has started who push past you to get to their seats. Argh! Also, their popcorn is the best in Boise...

Really should have a family package rate. 4 kids age 2 to 9 to see a movie and have popcorn was 44. For movie and 21. For popcorn,2 drinks. I will definitely rethink the activity I chose to do with my grandkids. Movie was ok Nice theater. Very difficult for little ones to sit in the seats though. They fold up on them.

This theater is okay but they're behind the times with the quality of the other theaters that are close by. With selections like IMAX and Dine-In theatres with newer sound technology which is like twice as many speakers as normal I can't give it a full five stars.

I haven't been to this theater before because I have a newer theater closer to where I live. However, the only time that worked for us for a specific movie was at this theater. I was surprisingly pleased with everything! The popcorn wasn't bad and they had all the typical snacks. The matinee prices were very reasonable! The seats were fairly comfortable. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future movies.

I absolutely love Majestic Cinemas. They keep a clean theater with great tasting concessions and awesome movies. The tickets are a good price and if you go on Tuesday then you can get half prices tickets and watch a brand new movie for just 5 dollars. The seats are very comfortable and the arm rests come up for those cuddlers out there. A wonderful cinema that is my first choice any time I want to go to the movies.

This theatre is like a ghost town. It looks like the kind of theatre you would find in the middle of a large city, but you will only find maybe 50% of the theatre to be operational. If you dont like sitting next to other people or having assigned seating, this theatre is perfect. The film rooms are well built and well maintained, the design of the building is extravagant and screams 90s wealth. Just make sure you eat beforehand or sneak some snacks in with you, the food prices are ridiculous, same as any other theatre.

This is our favorite movie theater! I have been taking my girls here since they were wee. The popcorn is good, its clean considering it's a theater and the service is always friendly. I also find its marginally cheaper than Regal Cinemas. I saw Avengers: Infinity War and kindly told the associate that he would need to mop up my tears.

I've never found a better place to go to a movie to enjoy a movie. The seats are clean and comfortable. Sound is excellent without being too crazy loud like other theaters in town. I love the movies! This one has all the same options as Edward's does. (I think people tend to think of that one more because it's bigger.) I like Majestic too though. I've had several work movie nights here which is super cool! Only complaint: They don't seem to accept ANY movie gift cards. Not Fandango or Regal cards. So that was a bummer. Other than that, they had great service!

The neon out front is beautiful. The staff inside are friendly and cheerful. Restrooms and auditoriums are clean. Great customer service. Cinemark has made some fine upgrades. Online ticketing is nice. All in all a great place to take in the newest flick.

We love Majestic Cinemas in Meridian. We especially like Tuesday nights for $5 movie admissions (available for all movies not opening that day). They have comfortable seats and large enough cinemas to get a favorite seating location nearly every time we go. Concessions are tastey too, as well as expensive (aren't all movie concessions expensive?). So, that should be no surprise. Staff is always helpful and pleasant. It is our favorite local theater. We think you'll like it too! PS-As a frame of reference, I don't give 5 stars very often, as I reserve those for places that really knock my socks off with something unexpectedly awesome.

It's a great theater! Lots of screens, very clean and exactly what you should expect from a well-run local theater. They have a bargain Tuesday all day deal. Concessions are expensive (as usual) and plentiful. They update regularly. Much easier to park and enjoy a movie versus the Village Cinema.

This is a nice theater. Not nearly as packed as the newer ones but just as comfy. Only complaint is the arm rest doesn't go all the way up so if your planning on cuddling during the movie, you'll be a bit disappointed.
