REVIEWS OF Museum of Discovery and Science IN Florida

You can easily spend 4 plus hours here. There is a lot to see just wish that it was a bit more organized as far as displaying the activities. Seems a bit scattered. And the employees were not the friendliest.

Myles Trouard

Really enjoy taking the kid here very happy I can now go with the family. Really enjoy the inclusive atmosphere

Alex Advecassis

Amazing museum to learn about native environmental natural history. Downstairs has a bubble station and area to design sponge thingies for kids. Upstairs has a superhero exhibit and medical sciences breakthrough. Dinosaurs gems art space planes mars simulators so on and so forth. Pack a lunch but you can't bring certain food items into the museum like alcohol so check before you bring

George Adamo

Wow. I was there for an audition...not to visit the museum, but even from my waiting area I was treated to a beautiful naturally occurring otter play session! I can't wait to return. I was overwhelmed with all the activities. I would definitely return!

Jason Ayala-Olivares

This is a great place to learn about so many topics of science. We visited during the Pride Family event and had a fun time. The most fascinating piece was the large that sits outside.

Raul Maceira

A great place for the family! They have activities and different exhibits throughout the year.

Very Interactive way for the children to learn. My kids never get tired of coming here because there is just so much for them to do. There are always new exhibits and shows every few weeks. There are not many Children's Museums in the Fort Lauderdale area so I am glad this Museum is conveniently located. Museum of Discovery and Science is part of the "Museums on Us" benefit for Bank Of America card holders every first full weekend of each month. I love to get in to places for free so this opportunity/experience is great in so many ways.

Lyn Wilson

It's really fun. I've been going here with my kids for about 7 years now. It never gets old. In fact there are so many new rides. New things to see and do and discover. I do however suggest that you eat before you him the subway that was there is no longer there. The only food is the theater food and it's a bit pricey. ( like 3 dollars for a regular Pepsi bottle) other than that I LOVE IT.

David Lange

If you're a Bank of America card holder don't come in June July or August because they don't honor the card. It Was not posted on the website. Paid $10 on parking to bring my two children on the basis that my sister and I would use our Bank of America cards for entrance. They did not honor BOA Cards so we did not go. it's a shame and I talk to about 20 people in the same predicament. Tell your friends be aware they don't honor Bank of America card in the next 3 months

Musfiq Sazal

Good for 3+ years, over crowded during weekend. Parking is very expensive

Balram Lali

We came here while the kids expo event was happening. There were lots of giveaways and fun things for the kids to get involved with. Found the exhibits to be very informative and interactactive. My 4 and 7 year olds loved it and can't wait to go back!

Shevy R

Great place to bring your kids! There are lots of activities for children to interact with and animals to view. It's appropriate for all ages. The museum is clean and very family oriented. Parking is convenient as the garage is across the street.

Tara Keimel

The experience was fantastic; friendly staff, interesting exhibits and cool programs. Definitely going back. Whoever does their social media enticed me to stop by.

Mike DeGiovanni

Much to do and learn here. I was there fir several hours and still didn't see it all.

Noelle Spence

We always have a great time when we come! The exhibits are well-kept, always clean, and functioning properly. Everything is interactive and great for all ages, from toddlers to adults! The live shows/encounters are informative and fun, and the rides are even more fun! The outdoor section is also super fun! The museum is also a participating location for the Summer Savings Pass, which makes it a great value!

Denise Morgan-Coleman

Wasn't a bad experience, like the air transport simulators. The animals were a nice touch.

W Q

My family loves this place, and now with the outdoor patio is even better. We buy the summer pass for the 4 attractions and normally go to the museum when is raining

Carlos Solas

Beautiful museum, full of activities for the whole family, very clean and very well organized. I hope it stays this good for generations to come. Thank you staff!!

Steven Noel

The museum is awesome! Lots of different information. Though it may be geared more towards children, there are areas that also are for adults. There is an area of aviation, that I found of interest. There is also a flight simulator of a fighter jet that you can get in. Great place, will go again!

Chris F

I love this place!!!!!!! I loved it as a kid. My 3 year old loves it now. We got an annual membership. Great for an indoor summer activity.

Auburn Thompson

We thought this would be a fairly quick little activity for the day, but there was actually quite a bit for the kids (6,8,9,12) to do. We spent 4 hours there (watched an Imax movie), and didn't get to see the outdoor area. My daughter's favorite part was watching the otters get fed.

Heather Morris

We love this museum! They have great interactive STEM program. IMAX is awesome! I love the fact that they participate in the Summer Savings Pass!

Michael Osteen

Definitely family oriented, the staff of quite helpful. Plenty of things to keep children and adults interested. Will definitely go back enjoy the day there

Sharon Johnson

Lots of fun for kids and parents. Displays are informative and interactive. Small child play area is great. Bathrooms are very clean

Jennifer Piard

It was FANTASTIC!! I came here as a kid and we brought my nephews. The hands-on activities were fun! It was a great day.

Ankush Borse

Informative. Educative. Engaging. Knowledge enriching. Eye opening. Fun. Family oriented edutainment. Nice place to take entire family and have good time. They have lots of activities as well as Imax movie theatre. Enjoyed visit thoroughly.

Harsh Rathi

I found this quite knowledgeable for kids and adult both. They have small playground for kids which is nice and operated through scientific logic. Staff is really nice and helpful. What I didn't like was, museum doesn't have free parking for customers. Street parking are the reasonable but there is a limit of ~ 6hrs which is less when you visit to IMAX and museum both and finding available spot there is rare. Rest parking lots charge you ~10-20 $.

Jessica Durso

I wish I could give 5 stars, but so many of the interactive toys were broken..not the toys, but where the kids could try the experiments...those were broken. It wasnt just 1 or 2, there were at least 5....so it put longer lines just to wait to try to figure out a puzzle. Also...we went during summer on a Sunday, we wont do that again.. TOO many people!!!! yes, we will go again!!!! Suggestion, maybe charge less for the adults as we just hang out and supervise our kids.. $20.00 is a little much....my family of 5 was almost 100$..and my 3 year old costs as much as my 10 year old... just mentioning. Overall. Again, a great place...oh yeah parking was $15.00 due to an event at the convention center...the garage didnt care where we were going, we had to pay it.

Brian P

It’s very tough to keep my little one thoroughly entertained on vacation, especially for consecutive hours, but the Museum of Discovery and Science achieved that. A great mix of fun experiments disguised as activities, flight simulators, rides, movies, and an outdoor area too! This is one of the best children museums I’ve ever been to and I plan on definitely making a return visit next time we’re in Florida.

They have a lot of fun exhibits that your kids can touch! We also were there during the Superhero exhibit, which was very cool! They even had a T.A.R.D.I.S.! There is an aquarium, a play area indoors with a bubble station and things to climb on and an interactive outdoor play area with experiments with music, water, tug of war and other neat stuff. They also have a lot of different types of airplanes and rockets that you can sit in and check out. They have a place to build things with giant foam like blocks, and there are some VR "rides" you can go in. They have an IMAX theater too. It has several with various science themes and also theater that plays hollywood movies as well. Downstairs there is a snack bar and seating area, but if you want a full meal it is within walking distance to several good restaurants and nearby Riverwalk. I don't think we even saw all there was, but we are definitely going back soon. Tip: During the summer there is a fun pass where you get unlimited visits to Museum of Discovery and Science, Lion Country Safari, Miami Zoo and Miami Seaquarium.

Very fun... It has lots of different experments that teach kids about hurricane and other amazing stuff. There is also lots of different animals such as fish. I strongly suggest you go there because it is a great learning experience.

Very nice great place for little ones definitely recommend

We spent some good time around the museum. A lot to do and you can really put your hands on science and discover how things work. They had the SuperHero theme right now and you could even find your x-ray vision while there. Couldn’t take it with you, tho

Ceci Cool

The Museum of Discovery and Science is an amazing family place. The new Elements Cafe is very amazing and very healthy. They are stocked up with different sandwiches and snacks for all ages. They also serve Starbucks coffee and tea even though they are not an actual Starbucks location. Great quality at a great price.

Patty Cakes

Most of the interactive exhibits were either broken or missing pieces/parts. My boyfriend is hard of hearing and couldn’t hear most of the displays, shoot I couldn’t hear most of the displays. Was good for killing time on a rainy day though

Ethan Trout

Our family (kids 3.5 and 5.5) spent the whole day here and still didn't see or experience everything. There is a great variety of exhibits each with different themes and activities. They have animals like turtles, small alligators, snakes and a dedicated otter environment. Also lots of fish, coral and other things like scorpions, bats, bunny, lobster, crabs, etc. Great for young kids who just want to mash buttons or older kids who want to learn about something. Some of the exhibit stations were broken so it wasn't perfect but I'd highly recommend visiting if you are in the area. Especially if you like science, music or environment related topics.

Yashika Oliver

Love love love this place, great family fun great sight. My kids and I both enjoyed ourselves. Go!

Dylan Shivan Harripersad

I’m a young adult and I thoroughly enjoyed myself here. Great place to come and enjoy with you family and travel companions.

Nithila Chandra

The chicken Caesar wrap is amazing! I would highly recommend getting this, but also try their coffee and sweet treats suck as the cupcake.

Carrie Messner

My 2.5yo and 5yo LOVE the science center! It is the perfect size for them! Their favorite things to do: see small alligators, sharks, otters, creepy crawlies and fish. They always find something new to do or explore. I love to bring them to play in the awesome hands-on play spaces and enjoy the air conditioning on those hot days.

Brian Grzech

They have a really cool super hero exhibit that my kids loved. The outside area is well done and its probably the best museum in our area for kids.

Renate B.

Great place to take your kids for movies and/ or the exhibitions. However, I feel like the museum is overpriced

William Hudson

Love this place. I take my kids here and they run around all over the facility. 2 floors and an outdoor area. They love the animal exhibits and can't keep thier hands off anything. Which is exactly the point. Good price for admission. Munchies and drinks at the snack bar but no food. Play area near the front. Its a fun place. Even for adults.

La Chinita

So today to say the least was a disaster. Parking was a madness. I waited in line, mind you there was a line coming off off broward and another line that formed south of the parking building. I was in the line that was south. No one was deligating accordingly. There was a guy there what he was doing. I have no clue. Ended up parking in another parking lot. There was a major activity right there by the entrance. Went and got tickets. Online there was a special for museum day. Each voucher was good for two persons free. Me my daughter got in free but my parents paid full price. Nonetheless thats awesome. I go in around 12 ish the museum was very busy. Me and my family went upstairs everything had a line. The rides had even longer lines. For the ride to Mars we waited almost 2.5 hrs. I could see that the youngsters that were running this ride were having issues. Issues with walkies. Someone not responding... Theres a gentleman who sounds like he knows what hes doing... But doesnt. He had my mom and others that were willing to separate from groups so the could go sooner and overall decrease the waiting... Yeah it didnt work out. It made things worse. They then would look for parties of two and three that were at the end of the line instead of those like my self that were towards the front of the line waiting .I spoke to three different people and they were obviously overwhelmed and couldnt help me. We were able to do some activities in the hurricane center and some of the animals. Then we had to leave cause my dad went to get my daughters medication and apparently he wasnt allowed to return which i couldnt understand why. He paid!!! I went to the info center on my way out and i asked for a booklet. Gentleman gave me and told me that they are only giving out the old ones that were good till August. Thinking to myself... So to my astonishment there were so many people outside. The whole front area was full off people trying to get in. Those with the voucher and those who paid all packed. I asked the gentleman that gave me the magazine what is going on. He stated we are over capacity. No one can come in at this times. Now i see why they wouldnt let my dad in. I was so upset and dissappointed. I have a special needs child and if i would of known for a minute this was what i was going to deal with... I would of stayed home. Who ever organized and planned this event needs to know that this was a mess and should of done a better job. Ive been coming since I was a child and wanted her to experience what I did growing up so I brought her here... For being the Museum of Discovery and Science, I expected more on all levels.

Jennifer Kane

Very entertaining for the kids! The displays change in seasons! Always something to check out. Take your time because you might miss a display.

J R

Always a nice place to go. Kids always have a blast. The imax movie was awesome. Great experience.

Amber Rhodes

I like this museum and my kid always has fun, which is the most important thing. They have some interesting exhibits, but I feel like they should update it more often. On our recent visit, there were a few sections closed and one ride that was also under renovation. They have an otter exhibit and an outside area with some cool things to do. Those are probably my 2 favorite parts. I've been coming to this museum for years, and I guess with each visit I'm hoping they would have updated or added new things.

Carlos Garcia

We used to take our kids here all the time. They’re a little older now and really have lost interest. But it was wonderful. Really enjoyed the Publix shopping display. And many of the different exhibits they have there throughout the year.

Tiffany Alcala

Great for adults, kids and even toddlers! The cafe and gift shop are accessible outside the museum. The cafe serves small prepackaged bites like sandwiches etc. We arrived via tri rail using the $5 all day pass then took the fl3 commuter bus (free!) right to the front of the museum. The only issue was getting back, we missed the bus because the bus didn't stop for us. -_-

Luke Dickerson

Lots of fun exhibits for kids. However, a lot of the interactive displays were way too large for kids (6-10), limiting how much they can do. Loved the variety of exhibits and the superhero section was pretty cool. Best go early, gets busy fast.

Juan Lopez

This is a great museum for kids! They have a really cool animal mini-zoo with bats, spiders, scorpions, turtles, alligators, otters, fish, snakes, lobsters and more! There is an outside exhibit with hands on experiments. They also have different simulator rides that are fun! The IMAX theater has movies for kids during the day and it has a concession stand with popcorn and snacks. This is a great place to spend hours with your kids.

Lavinia Hrecin

Interesting for kids. Lot's of attractions. You can stay there and have action's more then 4 hours.

Marilyn CS

Great time for young and old. Indoor and outdoors. And there is a gender inclusive bathroom here. There is some water play ...a spot for younger ones. IMAX fun. Make sure you pick the MODS (museum of discovery and science) special when parking. Beats having to pay the $15+ in regular parking at the garage. We went early so it wasn't too crowded.

Amanda Gentry

I have been coming here since I was a tiny human! Love being able to bring my kiddos here. All the neat different types of animals on the bottom floor are amazing - and all the learning activities on the second floor are awesome! It’s a great place to bring children of all ages. Staff is very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very welcoming. Somebody is almost always smiling at you! They have a pretty neat gift shop too.

Manuel Figueroa

I love this museum!!! Best in the area. I live 35 minutes away and always take the trip once a month to visit. There nice and friendly. I recomend to go to the air plane section and ride in the simulator.

Mel Zeff

Excellent Science Museum! We came to Fort Lauderdale for a week and bought a membership so we could keep coming back. What a great deal! The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and the adults did too. Customer service was great and the employees were all wonderful.

Ariana Jasman

This is my son's favorite place to be! There is so much to experience and do here, it will take awhile to go through all of it. We have been there three times this year and find something new each time that we didn't know was there last time. The staff is amazing and very informative, they all care about the children's experience at the museum. I witnessed children at the turtle encloser asking questions to their friends and a friendly staff member over heard and helped answer their questions. I like that they leave you to enjoy the museum but are also there to help you learn the most about the exhibits. The fantastic IMAX is here as well, my son went with his class and he can't wait to see another film here. Maybe for his birthday coming up since the tickets and food are a bit pricey. You aren't allowed to bring anything into the theater unless you buy it at the concession. Everything else goes into their a locker at the entrance. I hope this helps answers any questions, it is a fantastic place to bring the whole family of all ages and a perfect place to cool down and spend the day.

BiancalovesDisney

Super fun museum that will entertain you and your kids for HOURS! All the staff are great but you do get the occasional younger volunteer who can be a little sassy/rude. But I don’t hold that against MoDS. It’s a lot of fun!

Timothy Johnson

Lots of fun activities for kids. And if you aren't rushed, they can sit and learn something too.

Danica Kemper

Such an amazing museum, especially for families! We did go without any kids and still had a blast. $19 for adults, and less for kids, seniors, and military. Very nice staff and volunteers!

Kaylee Johnson

If you ever are in this area you have to go here. My 3 year old son & I got there around 11am & stayed until closing time. We had so much fun! Will definitely be back again!

My 18 month old daughter and my 18 month old niece love coming here, and not just at the kids area but the whole museum.

A very nice facility with lots of fun things to do for both kids and adults! There are lots of rides, quite a few of which are included with your ticket. Having worked in a similar field I do believe some of their information and exhibits need to be updated for what is currently there, especially for the animals. Beyond that the facility is well done and a lot of fun!

Always a nice place to go. Kids always have a blast. The imax movie was awesome. Great experience.

Lavinia Hrecin

Interesting for kids. Lot's of attractions. You can stay there and have action's more then 4 hours.

Alex Smith

Went their with my sister's kids. Nice place!

Nevin Grushka

it has a lot of interesting interactive things to explore. the otters are so cute!

Rebekah Stephens

This used to be closer to a three star when I was a kid, but there have been so many improvements over the years that it has gotten way better. There are lots of play areas for younger kids plus an outdoor exploration area. It's all updated and fresh. The otter tank is pretty neat as well. My boys thoroughly enjoyed playing here and walking around touching everything. There are field trips here and sometimes can find discount tickets. You can easily spend 2-3hrs here. I'd bring some snacks to eat partway through your visit or afterwards. It's a little hard to keep an eye on multiple kids here, but there are employees who walk around and can help you find them if they get out of view. So maybe bring a stroller and dress your kids similarly in a easily recognizable color.

Susan Hayward

Great place to explore and get educated while on vacation and get out of the heat or rainy days! My family enjoyed all the interactive hands on learning activities as well as the IMAX movie. Wished we could've got there earlier to enjoy more activities. Will go back, if we ever come back to Florida!

Javier Red

Great balance between animals, science and technology exhibitions! Great place to visit!

Mr. Man

Kids like it. Parking is 15 across the street. Have been twice and the second time a big section was under construction which means they change exhibits. Will return next year.

Gladys Vargas

A great place to bring kids of varied ages, with plenty of learning activities. Did I mentioned it's air conditioned!

These folks should be ashamed. Our autistic son gave a volunteer a hug and told her that he loved her. Security then proceeded to detain him until we came to get him, because he was "Creepy". I guess acceptance and understanding are too much to ask for. I understand the hug maybe being going too far if it was unwarranted, but the volunteer could have denied him the hug and gone about her business. Instead, she reciprocated the approach and proceeded to inform her boss after the incident. I'm sorry, but this is completely unacceptable. I feel sorry for the volunteer. I really would love to see how she views her peers with disabilities in school. As far as the HR representative informing me that they have a "no touching" policy, really??? I guess they haven't walked around and taken a good look at their volunteers hanging all over each other in plain view of the public. I used to really enjoy this place, but now that it has shown it's true dark underbelly of intolerance, I don't know what to think... accept that it's a sad day, when a sweet gentle human is said to be doing something wrong for being as nice as he can possibly be to someone. My final thought... the only thing "creepy" here is a the treatment my son received and the fact that the HR representative tried to console me by saying she could have called the police instead. Be aware, your children with disabilities are not welcome here unless they are on a leash.

BRYANT FILOMENO

I loved it as did my 4 year old son. We spent almost three hours there and yet did not see or touch every thing. Honestly it is well worth the money. There are several areas that help divide everyone up. It does not feel crowded even though there were lots of people. The outdoor area really helps.

Emiliz Kaplan

It's the perfect experimental opportunity to Believe

j. Shere'e LeBlanc Lowe

Had a great day!! Your employee Emerson was an outstanding young man. WOW !!! Thank you!

Daniel Roman

Went as part of a field trip with my daughter. We had a blast! There are so many things to do that we will have to come back to check out the part of the museum we missed. The IMAX theatre was also fun! Definitely worth checking out!

andres mara

My Kids had a lot of fun, they super heroes exhibit its great

Vileriousjoe Graydon

Kids loved museum. Took advantage on national museum day. Will definitely be back.

Therese Foran

Really fun place for kids and adults. So much better than it was years ago

Slavi Kamarashev

Not big but interesting. Worth one time visit

Naomi Skill

Awesome place. My brother, nephew, and niece love the environment there. The staff is friendly. The animals look in awesome shape without any doubt.

Makeda Dawson

Kids ages 10 and 7 loved it! Exhibits were fun and unique and I loved how many VR type rides were included in the entrance price. We'll be back!

Scott Woods

My four year old loved her time here. We spent about two hours here with plenty to do. They're part of the ASTC passport system, so if you're a member of any science museum elsewhere in the country, you probably get in for free. We did, anyway!

cesar lopez

awesome as usual. never disappoints. There's always something new to see. This time arround they had a super hero exhibit. Super cool. we love the TMOSAD

Manu Bhatnagar

Wondeful place for kids and families. The Summer Fun pass is a great deal if your kid is an explorer. Otherwise a Groupon is your best bet.

Joshua Stevens

Fun spot to take kids. Some of the interactive activities are broken but they have several cool other ones that do work. Best for kids between 3-12

Michael Stephan

Awesome place! Needed something to do out of the sun after our cruise. The kids absolutely loved it. Worth it! Cafe good but a little expensive, but good in a pinch.

Tashara Harris

Enjoyed it with my family. We had an awesome time. We will definitely be comimg back soon.

M S

Great place for kids to learn and explore the many facets of science and industry.

John Tedesco

Pretty cool. Sort of a traditional science museum and a kids museum. They have some ride like exhibits upstairs like a virtual plane or mars rover simulator, but on the day we went several were not working or being repaired.

Lisa Katz

This is a very well designed museum filled with engaging, interactive, and educational activities and exhibits, like The Hall of Heroes.

ShayBabé Lyfe

It's a great place for kids to explore and experiment. It's so many things to do and learn. From air to land. Weather to animals. Yogi can even go to the movies! More than one trip required!

Mario Mitchell

Definitely a place to take the kids lots of Hands-On stuff to learn about anything from aeronautical two how much power a light bulb takes to work

Danielle Carrero

My son is obsessed with this place, there is no shortage of fun activities here! We ended up here on family pride day which was such a beautiful event! Kudos to the MODS for shedding awareness on such an important issue! It was free admission to fort Lauderdale residents and the event was filled with so much love and tolerance we can't wait to go back!

Casey Garcia

I love going to mesuemes and this one is no exception. I came from out of state and saw this on the map so I had to stop by. Decent prices and wonderful exhibits! Some things were not well kept but I can only imagine that has something to do with the larger population of FL. If you're in the area and have some time, stop by here then take a stroll near the river.

crissy simone

Love this place its educational and full of science. It has a lot of sea life and insects. It has a lot of animals and have a bunch of activities where you can play and learn and it has mini rides and 3d rides along with a movie theater. Very nice place.

Compared to other similar museums in the world it is average. Still a good place to go with the kids if it is raining outside

Joshua Oliver

Museum was amazing. So many interactive exhibits for kids of all ages, and almost all of them in great working order. General admission even includes some experiences that would be add-ons at other museums.

Natalie Kizeridis

Amazing place with so many rides like simulators and plenty of interactive educational games, also a wonderful and comprehensive exhibit about Florida's ecosystem. Loved it!

Veziah Hutchinson

Small museum great for kids under 12. Kids any older than that you might struggle with keeping them entertained if they aren't too into earth science and wildlife. The IMAX theater is a separate fee from museum entrance fee. But you can also just go to the IMAX without going to the museum. They show regular movies as well as educational documentaries.

Priscilla Molerio

Came with my two sons and we enjoyed our time here. The museum is well maintained and the majority of activities work as intended. A couple are tricky and we couldn't get them to work right, but an employee sat with us and it worked for him even though we literally did the identical things right in front of him and it still respond when we did it. I guess he just had a magic touch that we did not. It didn't affect my opinion of the museum at all! My kids had a great time and want to come back. I did drop off 1 star due to my first impression with the ticket counter... the employee that was taking care of us, while professional, was in no hurry and took unnecessary long and moved so slowly as though he had all the time in the world. I felt MY time and my kids' time wasn't being respected. On top of that he kept leaning over to help the girl beside him with every single thing, which is awful because thanks to his help, she was able to attend to 3 other guests who were in line BEHIND me before my attendant was able to finish with us. Again, just something that can and should be improved, but simple enough, I think. There is no reason why once it is your turn, buying 3 tickets should take 20+ minutes. That was all time I was paying for parking when we could have been enjoying the beautiful museum. I think we will be back.

Thaina Orace

Boys (6yrs and 19m) and I LOVE this place. Not super toddler friendly but they both had an amazing time. The new science playground was a major hit with the 6yo and 19m loved loved loved watching the otters, fishes and digging in that new pit. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! :)

Ivo Petrov

Outstanding place. Definitely worth taking the kids there. They have areas for toddlers ans youths.

adam mustapha

Love the exibits and interactive play for kids. My 4 yr old loved it!!

Gooma And Kooper

I have been taking my four grandchildren to MODS since they were toddlers. (Three of the four are now teenagers.) We have enjoyed every minute of our membership. Each one has their favorite area and we go to all the areas. It is interesting that open-ended activities keep them going back year after year, experimenting and using the items differently. We are looking forward to seeing our brick in the science playground with each grandchild’s name engraved on it. Thanks to all the talent and hard work that has gone into this educational and entertaining museum.

Kandi Senkevich

Interesting place to go too, I went during a time they were redoing the second floor so I recommend you go when that's done.

Kashif Mughni

It was well worth the visit. Kids had a lot of fun. A lot of activities for the kids, several rides/simulators included in the basic price, as well as several shows through out the day. I highly recommend this if you have kids between 3-8.

Gerald Strohacker

Lots of fun and interesting things to do. Very close to the Brightline station so you can take the train and walk, less than 10 minutes. Everyone was nice and helpful. FPL did a Sunday sponsorship and it was interesting seeing some of their stuff at the museum. Only reason for the missing star was the lack of updated website information. One of the reasons we came down was to see the Hall of Heroes for Marvel, but it was shut down a week ago. The website as of the post still says it's going on. Definitely worth it to go and make an afternoon with the family.

Yevgeniy Gusev

Simply beyond amazing! If u have children 5 or older this is the place to be! This is what really called Experimentarium. Kids and adults can try and play with every exhibit there. The only place like this I know was in Copenhagen. Not sure if there is another museum like this in the states. One con though-there r no free parking and tickets r kinda expensive.

Jeremiah Francois

This place is super fun! I love the rides and the interactions with the animals. The IMAX theater is huge so it's great for watching movies! I love it here.

Alejandro De Barros

Excellent place for kids of all ages. The museum have multiple simulators, exhibitions and an imax theater inside. Also there is a large playground outdoors. The only thing is missing is the food court but nonetheless there are restaurants around the area. Be patient because depending of the day of the week parking gets crowded.

Shneequa Johnson

Great place to visit. Had a great time me and my family while visiting from Memphis,TN

Jeff Smith

I have been bringing my kids here for a few years. The orange picking exhibit still doesn’t work. It hasn’t fir years but there it sits. The flight simulators upstairs still don’t work properly. An upgrade in the PC and/or software would be nice. It just feels like no one is interested in upgrading anything here. And the price would be okay if the listed items worked but it is a little pricey for exhibits that are this old and/or broken. Update. We went upstairs to enjoy the medical area and found that the speaker system on the ambulance (one of the two functions)did not work. My son tried “the wrong stuff” exhibit and it did not work either. This place has been a huge waste. We won’t be coming back. I’m sure I won’t get a response from the museum but this critique is completely true and accurate.

mira bela

Great location to spend a few hours with the kidos. A lot of interesting and educational exhibits! The outdoor playground is very fun. My favorite part without a doubt are the otters. Will definitely return.

Adam Mariano

Very cool place I really like the Marine aquarium said they have their

schoolboiforeal

My son enjoyed the museum. He was intrigued with variety of hands on exhibits. I was even amazed.

Shane Bill

There were loads of interesting things but we found the layout open concept added a lot of noise to the experience. Our little one didn't long because of that. As well, we found the pricing for little kids between 2 and 5 pretty high given they can't really interact that much with items on the second floor.

debra hess

My granddaughter had her 9th birthday party there and her and her friends had a great time . The hosts were great and the people who did the science experiments with the kids were very hands on. It was well worth it. All in all we all had a great time !

Nick Nicks

Fun atmosphere for the whole family. Loved the animals and learning about the environment. The movie theater and gift shop there is awesome as well.

Stephany Cuellar

Very nice museum! Very large and in need of some TLC especially their humans exhibits, the Japanese hall was beyond dusty, it felt like visiting a backwoods museum in the hills of Colombia. The information isn't all there either and some things are displayed a little bit awkwardly for 2019. Unless the exhibit is about death I really don't wanna see a Butsudan or Family Altar displayed (it would be like seeing a tombstone in an exhibit about England?) BUT!! THE REST OF THE MUSEUM IS GREAT! The science parts really are standout. The special exhibits were awesome! There were soooo many dinosaurs it was amazing! The geology section rock-ed, and things were very interactive!! Do not miss the hall of life and the blue whale! Although the taxidermy is a little strange it gives a good glimpse into how the animals fit into their native environments! There's even some animals that have sadly gone extinct since the creation of the museum so seeing them in person was very moving. We have zoos now so seeing animals in person is much easier now than in the past, but I can see how, at the time, this must have been a marvel to see real animals in person that could not be seen. Also a place with many floors also an awesome place to Pokemon Go at! Took so many pictures!

Monica Torres

Amazing place with so many rides like simulators and plenty of interactive educational games, also a wonderful and comprehensive exhibit about Florida's ecosystem. Loved it!
