We first visited the Coral Gables Art Cinema because we had gone to a book review across the street at Books & Books, Coral Gables. The theater is famous for featuring foreign films, where the leading role actor / actress or cast, crew and sometimes the producer come for a Q & A session. We have become regulars and attend often, parking garage is conveniently located next door, we can go to Books & Books, found a delightful Italian restaurant nearby and have little by little discovered many Coral Gables treasures thanks to this Cinema. Highly recommend.

parking is a nightmare in the dollhouse parking garage adjacent to the theater where you expensive ride could get seriously damaged, nobody to take tickets on arrival, cost of tickets inflated online with service charges and high end pricing.

FINALLY!!!!! A place where you can watch amazing, thought provoking films that don't really make it in Hollywood because nothing is being blown every 5 seconds. This place is so great and the location is absolutely perfect. A ton of restaurants to choose from and a parking garage right next door. This is definitely a gem and a much needed venue here in South Florida. I really hope it stays around for a long time. I am a member - that's how great it is!

Quaint small art theatre staffed and ran by very passionate film fans. I love attending their late night Saturday series! Where else can you still see cult favs? I just saw Wes Anderson's, The Royal Tenenbaums, and I am about to see The Princess Bride tomorrow! Always a great line up!!! Decent selection of snacks and adult beverages. Come by, you won't be disappointed :D

This place is a little gem in the gables. It's comfortable, they're great and inexpensive parking. It makes for a fun afternoon or an early fun date night. I love the late night screenings of old movies and they served beer at the concession stand, your can't ask for very much more

Even though the selection of movies shown is very appealing, the facility needs to be upgraded, the discomfort experienced discourages one to visit it more often. The air conditioning sometimes is broken, which in Miami weather is a serious matter(over 80 degrees Fahrenheit -almost all year). The seats are not numbered, and quite uncomfortable.

The first time I came here it was to watch Isle of Dogs before it hit its wide release. After that I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey complete with an introduction by one of the staff about the importance of the film and it’s history. I’ve been back a few times (in fact I just went last night to watch a 75mm showing of Vertigo) and every time it’s been such a great experience. The theatre is so intimate and quiet, it really brings you in to watch a movie and experience it. It’s much more than a passive watching experience, at the Arts Cinema you experience the film. That coupled with the incredible array of films being shown, this place is a hidden gem in Miami for sure.

A great little cinema with a family friendly and local vibe! Got to see Studio Ghibli's Ponyo here for 5 dollars which included free popcorn and a drink! There were stuffed animals on every chair because of "family day" and it was an amazing experience seeing this classic with children and long time Miyazaki fans!

Usually frequent this theater for their Saturday night after hours movie, which is usually some sort of cult classic film. This venue is great, their staff is knowledgeable and friendly and is very clean and well kept.

First time here to watch a Japanese movie Asako I & II by the director of "Speed" Ryusuke Hamaguchi. The cinema is cozy and compact compared to the big chains and offers a great array of interesting movies. Very clean, organized and worth it to visit. Bathroom in the 2nd floor only and must use the elevator. You buy your ticket at the cafe shop inside. Public parking right next to the cinema.
