big seeing. wide. cool inside. near or at? downtown, near many eating fancy spots. they showed apocalypse now like it come out forty years ago august 15, same time. wake up, folks! hollywood was always real and to the left, the watcher to the right and campyness steeped--nature docs like them showed here take us to the world true not asphalt machine gunned. see? you go well into the green world here with the big screen like holograms. thank you.

Next time we go to a movie here, I'm bringing my own popcorn from home! It's a great theater but it is absurd that, in my experience, the odds of being able to buy popcorn are 50% at best. We were told this weekend that it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait, which would mean having to leave the movie. Followup/reply to owner: That's great news and an extremely gracious offer. But I'll gladly pay as I trust it will support MODS either directly or indirectly :-) Thank you for the response. Just hoping that not too many other people try to claim it in my name lol.

Best theater in South Florida period. If you're serious about being a video and audiophile and are in it for the best picture and sound. Then this is your place. Forget the small screens and sounds with your butlers and recliners. This is grab your popcorn and be ready to be part of the movie. We're talking a 6 story screen with IMAX lasers and 52,000 watts of sounds!!! True IMAX dimensions and specs. Any other theater in south Florida claiming to have IMAX screens are false advertising, they don't comply to the IMAX standards. You need to understand that this is the only true IMAX screen available to us. If you choose to give it a shot I recommend trying to get seats in the middle towards the back or end. Anything closer and you'll literally be turning your head from one side of the screen to the other trying to watch certain scenes. That's how big it is. I don't recommend bringing any new born babies without ear muffs. They also sell priority tickets for a little more money that will let you in 30min before, for those that really want good seats. Also if you buy the first showing you'll get to go into the museum for free after the movie.

Great Theatre. Just area seemed unsafe and no clear indication of parking. The spot we decided to park we asked the ticket agent she advised us to make sure be safe walking back to our car. Maybe earlier in the day is better but the evening it seemed unsafe.

Now your screen and sound is why we come. Thanks for years of awesome entertainment. That being said, your popcorn machine broke down for Endgame. Time to get a full concession stand guys. Also, your line lanes are too wide and people try to work their ways up and it causes static. You already know that getting a good spot is important. That's why you have the member lines. But I see a potential fight breaking out if the line thing continues. Invest some that MCU money and get that stand going!!!!

Fancy place,clean and friendly staff. I didn't give them five stars because they have ducks in front of the teather and they let there customers to feed them with popcorn. They should call wildlife services to do something about it. The little ducks wont learn how to hunt.

So much fun to see a movie like Aquaman here. The sound, the screen size, and the laser projector make a great viewing experience. I thought this was really reasonably priced for what it is. That said, the exit from the screening room was kind of awkward with a descent of several staircases that felt like the fire exit. Ladies might want to avoid high heels.

Great screen ("Largest in South Florida") and sound system. The best images come from IMAX native films, especially when shot and viewed in 3D, but even Avengers: Endgame was quite good in 3D. The best film I've seen was an underwater documentary that was in extraordinary 3D.

Wow. Museum of Discovery and Science. First time going there a lot going on from kids activities to introducing Discover After 'Dark for adults. From sea life to space life very educational for both youth and adults. There is an IMAX theater. Showing Hollywood movies and documentaries. 2 level museum with amazing attractions. My favorite was seeing the otters swim. So relaxing and calming to see.

Nice theater with good sound and picture quality. Remember to pick a raw a little far from the screen if you want to see a movie in 3D. They also have alligator, turtles and other animal downstairs.

Best place in the world to experience a movie. Every seat is a good one. Every time I go they have made some improvement with picture or sound. Always upgrading. Best part is that I live 1.5 miles away!

Very disappointing. The seats are a little small and uncomfortable, no recline. The sound was mediocre at best. Action scenes; rockets taking off and explosions lacked the visceral rumbling in your body you expect. The screen seemed a little off kilter, almost distorted. I’ve been to newer, standard size theaters that blew this iMax away. The positive is the Children’s Museum. Quite diverse with a small aquarium area. Perfect for your little ones.

This theater has the biggest screen I've ever seen. The seats are pretty comfortable, they could honestly be a little better. The sound system in this place amazing, you can actually feel your insides vibrating from the bass. The staff here are really friendly and helpful, they told me all the information I needed. The food and drinks they sell at the concession stands look very tasty although, I didn't see the prices, so they could be very expensive. If you're a serious movie goer and want the best possible motion picture experience, you should definitely check this place out.

This is the best Imax theater in America. When I see movie theaters touting their imax banners I know that those iterations are nothing compared to this one. Unfortunately, I've been so spoiled that it's hard for me to watch movies anywhere else - and I mean other states as well. First world problems.

Excellent place to watch a movie. The size of the screen is huge and the sound is awesome. You are surrounded by the sound and the base rummbles your seat. The 3d glasses aren't scratched up and are clean. There is one thing I don't care for. That is the short armrests with the round cup holders on the end. They are not at all comfortable. They really need to be longer. Bring along a couple of pads to lay on them. I am going to.

This is the largest 3D IMAX theater in South Florida!!! We came from across the state just to see Jurassic Park and it was amazing! The concession stand workers we're great and everybody was friendly especially the guy who announced that he wasn't able to watch the movie until he had a day off on Sunday

We are from Pa didn't have a clue where to park the bike. Security allowed us to park on the side of building thank you for that. The movie First Man was fantastic. The theater was awesome. Too bad some people just cannot stay off their phones tho. Seriously where do you park??????

Love the screen, but honestly in 2019...how do they mot have assigned seating? The qorst aspect of the theater is you can't select seats, so if you're lucky enough to score tix to a blockbuster film when it opens, you have to stand in line 2 hours early just to ensure decent seats.

This is the best place to watch the big special effects movies. The staff is very nice and the screen and sound are unmatched. However, there are no numbered seats, so it's a free for all, even if you are early for your screening.

Horrible. Planned for two months to see the panda movie in 3d. 5 min into the movie everyone's glasses stopped working. They said they have to turn off the 3d because of the rain outside. Sounds like a bs excuse to me. We left. Won't be coming back ever.

Amazing picture and sound. It is everything you could want or expect. Went to see Endgame, and you feel the sound, and even though it was not the 3D (which they do offer), the Dual 4K Laser projectors make the pictorrbpop off the screen. Highly recommend

This is an absolute must experience!! Just remember to plan ahead, as parking is off-site. Concession stand is not at the level of the IMAX in NYC; limited food offerings. But honestly the movie experience is what it's all about. I tend to opt for the VIP access on release nights to ensure I get a good seat

The digital laser projection IMAX screen is amazing. Sound is very powerful and great for action movies. A must if you are wanting to see your favorite film in a nice theatre. No reclining seats, but they are very comfortable. Prices could be more competitive however the quality does justify the extra few dollars.

Movie experience was great. At the concession stand the plastic piece of the popcorn machine fell on the ground. The worker picked it back up and put it on the machine without washing or sanitizing it. I will make sure to eat prepackaged things only.

We have been coming to this theater for over 10 years, we have literally always brought our service animal which is an emotional support dog. She’s extremely well behaved and never barks in large crowds because she’s use to it. Tonight we were turned away by apparent new managers due to “ a problem that happened with another dog”. I do not consider this courteous, given our history coming here with the same animal. Furthermore we drove from Miami and had to pay ridiculous parking fee all for our evening to be ruined by this pointless situation. It’s sad to see the level of respect for others emotional disability be looked over unjustly. I guess that’s just what this #imax theater stands for.

They really need to find a better way to organize their lines at the IMAX theater, terrible. Unless you purchased a VIP ticket in advance.. My brother and I even showed up almost two hours early for the film, that didn't help at all.. They should do like other theaters and allow people to purchase their seats in advance! No point waiting in line, people just move around and end up in front of you, I won't be returning for quite some time..

Horrible customer experience. Try to make a a simple phone call to speak to somebody about a movie and the what time it will end so I can make dinner reservations. What a horrible automated system. Was not ever able to speak to a person or get an answer to my question. After 20 minutes of trying I finally hung up.

If you've never seen a movie in IMAX you must as nothing compares! The visuals and sounds are nothing short of spectacular! If 3D it's even better! If you're going during opening day or weekend splurge for the VIP pass so you can skip the main line. It is pricey so expect some sticker shock.k I've been going here for bog action movies for years. My only wish is for fresh popcorn and fountain drinks.

The theater itself is awesome, the new cafe with fresh " organic " was very good. You can bring the food into the movie with you. My only problem is the nastiest of bathrooms. Third time there and the toilets over flowing, and dirty. You complain and they just shrug. Bathrooms need remodeling

Great IMAX experience but only showcasing certain types of movies, at certain times, for certain periods. Expect this limitation and book your tickets fast, get there EARLY for good seats and you will have a great time. It's not really a theater, so if you don't expect it to be, it'll be great.
