Not much to say.. Always like the fact can order ahead, reserve specific seats. The theater was comfortable, clean and quiet. Snacks were a bit pricey, but that fits with the territory these days. And you get very little fit what you shell out.. But overall was a good experience.

Amazing theatre. There were comfy seats that you could recline in, and the aisle was bright enough so you could see where you were going. We went to go see Bohemian Rhapsody, (Which is a movie that has a lot of music in it) and I expected the sound to be extremely loud, although, the sound quality was just right. All in all, the Sun And Surf Cinema was a great experience. The only thing I have to critique about is that the drinks were a little expensive, but other than that, 5/5

Super cool theatre!! I’ve never been to a theatre where you can reserve seats online. We sat in the third row (C) and it wasn’t too close or too far. Row D may have been perfect but C was nice too. The seats reclined and were VERY comfy.

Although I frequent AMC a lot, I opted to try a different cinema experience. Since the Sun & Surf wasn't too far from the hotel I was staying in during my vacation, I decided to stop by to catch a movie. The set up reminded me of the movie theater that used to be open near my hometown. It is wonderfully clean: cleaner than any theater I've ever been in during the afternoon. The seats were comfortable as well: recliner, leather, with an option for heating, which I capitalized on to counteract the cool air. I also liked that it didn't have as many previews prior to the showing. Yes, one would have to pay a bit more ($15), but one is paying for the experience, and for me, it was A+.

Prices are normal for a movie theater, very nice seats, nice employees, good screen resolution, sound quality, etc. There's just a couple very minor things, that don't really matter, but I feel the need to point out. There's less of an incline on the seating, and the bathrooms are a little small so there's a little bit of a wait.

OMG! This is watching movie in the lap of luxury. Large red leather reclining seats that REALLY recline! Drink holders in the arms! Better hope the movie's exciting or you'll fall asleep in these comfy chairs. Now I'm never going to another theater again unless it's this one.

Well normally I love it, however I'm usually in theater 1, tonight it was 8, and wish they would fix the screen. A little right of the center is a mark about 1 foot in length, ugh an eye sore at times. Rest of the place was awesome. Prices suck on candy but what can u do, peeps got to make a living.

Love this theatre! Best recliner seats ever. Always has an off-duty cop watching now. Feel safe again. Get tickets at outside box office or inside kiosks or online with Regal or Fandango. I just wish they would turn the sound down to safe levels. Sometimes I plug my ears! Plenty big parking garage.

Nice experience. We sat second row from the back and felt comfy enough. The sound could've been a little better but the recliners were comfortable with enough room between so it doesn't feel cramped. Prices were reasonable and you get a good amount of candy for the price. Overall, we had a good time. I would recommend this cinema for a comfortable cozy atmosphere.

The heated, reclining seats are an awesome feature. I can see that being a big draw when folks are in a heavily air conditioned movie theater with beach level attire on. Facilities themselves are older but they've got concessions and movies. Reserved seats a plus.

This theatre was renovated a couple of years ago. Reclining seats ate very comfortable. Come early to select the best seats. Seats are assigned. The customer views the open seats and makes a seat selection when the ticket is purchased..

Saw Bohemian Rhapsody. Theater is handicapped accessible. Clean. Chairs are all reclining. Very comfortable environment. The sound was okay, but I didn't feel like I was surrounded by the sound, which made it harder to become engrossed in the movie. At least it wasn't deafening, but I prefer surround sound in a theater. Movie tickets and concessions were pricy, of course, even for a matinee. At least all seats costed the same. Overall, a good experience, and similar to other theaters.

Pros: Sun and surf Cinema has modern reclining chairs which are very comfortable. You can reserve your seats when paying so you don't have to search for open seats. Ample parking. Cons: The lobbyy is not the most glamorous. When many people are entering at once there is only one person checking ticket stubs so the line may backup and you may be waiting for a while. I did not buy an concessions but it seems like the confessions stand was slow moving.

Deaf family came to see a movie here. Their closed captions equipment are not friendly. They must keep maintaining the equipment every time someone is finished using it. Think of the next customer who wants to use the CC equipment and it does not work or stand correctly then you’ll have a frustrating customer.

This place is great and awesome staff. Our family vacation spot for the last few years is in Bethany. This theater is located roughly 12 min away. We went to see the new Spiderman and I goofed. My wallet fell out of my pocket with all my cars in it. We found out later that night and called the theater. They said they'd check and we went in the next morning and I was worried they said they hadn't seen it. The staff there was awesome they assured me they would check the spots thoroughly in between showings. A few hours later we received a call that they found it. This staff really went above and beyond

Do not judge the book by its cover. This theater was amazing. They let you pick your seat when you purchase a ticket, this was a first for me and a nice option, much better than walking into a dark theater and trying to find seats for your group. The seats were nice heated recliners which I was not expecting at the regular ticket price, most theaters charge extra for options like this.

One small bathroom that gets super crowded and disgusting. Also, some of the employees are a little strange....a couple elderly ladies in particular. One was at the ticket booth and was arguing with us because we bypassed her. We told her we bought our tickets the day before and she just didn't get it. Finally someone else explained it to her and backed off. Then after the movie, I took one of my kids to the bathroom while my husband sat on a bench out in the lobby with our 3 year old. An elderly woman employee started questioning him in a suspicious way....almost as though he had kidnapped our son or something. She eventually flat out asked our 3 year old if he knew this man. ???? This happened just as I was coming out of the bathroom and she quickly changed her tune and looked a little embarrassed. Very strange. Other than that, the movie part of the experience was good and the big red recliners are awesome, of course.

This movie theater was very clean and the comfortable reclining seats made it a great experience while watching Skyscraper. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this particular theater to anyone looking for great comfort and customer service. I would have given this theater 5 stars but I found the ticket price to be rather high as well as the snacks at the concession stand, but that wouldn't deter me from going back again.

They also have reclining chairs. Unfortunately, I actually dislike the reclining chairs. They are not very comfortable in my opinion.

We love that they show the classic movies from the 80's! The reclining chairs are big and comfortable. The only thing that prevented a 5 star review was that some of the concession prices were high. $4 for a bottle of water that isn't even spring water is a bit much.

I saw The Mule a few weeks ago with my 77 year old mother. The only seats available were in row A up front and on the far right. I really wanted to see the movie and thought it wasn't my ideal location, but how bad could it be. These seats should not even exist! Highly distorted view of the screen and we reclined as far back and turned as possible...our necks hurt all day.

We saw Wizard of Oz 80th Anniversary. Last month, White Christmas. Love the face they are showing TCM -Turner Classic Movies - once per month can not wait until the next one. The oversized recliners are very comfy too.

My first time going to the movies on vacation, but the kids wanted to see "The Meg". I was shocked to see they had the nice red recliner chairs we're accustomed to. The concession stand wasn't so great, but they have popcorn, candy and soda, the A.c was the perfect temp and it was clean inside the theater(didn't go in the restroom)!

This has been the only theater that i have been to for the past year at least. I love the recliners!!! Regal 16 needs to step their game up on that! Movies are affordable. I love the fact that hu out can get an idea of how many people that may be in the theater and where they may sit. We go here all the time and plan on continuing to do so. The onlyt thing i would say they needed to work on was the lobby area. It looks really out of date. If updated and modernised it would probably bring in more people all year round.

Let's go to the movies wait what we are in OC sun beaches fishing bars. Yes those things are all cool but nothing like kicking back relaxing watching a movie. When we are in OC we always check out a movie. Wife didn't see End Game so guess what we saw. Sun and Surf theater is so nice pick you your seat buy your movie snacks. Restroom is across from concession stand wash your hands before exiting. Now you have your seats and your tickets go kick back in the recliner. Yes people recliners for seats am I at the movies or home. I can relax while my wife watch this movie Captain Marvel didn't get enough screen time in End Game. Movie is over now let's go have some fun it's Monday. Tuesday let's go see John Wick 3 why not Sun and Surf is showing and we always enjoy ourselves here. Here we go again where do we sit wife ask. I don't care just pick the seats. Staff has fun banter with us about how things are with her and her husband. Yes I can adjust wife has issues lol staff said the aisle is on the left in that theater. Wife say F2 F3 is that good sure Babe sure. A little more fun banter I tell staff to tell her husband he is a good and smart man lol. John Wick is excellent as we all know Sun and Surf is excellent as well. We visit here everytime we are in OC seriously everytime.
