This Movie Theater belongs to the category of Movie theater.
Ample parking. Easy to find.
Excellent Movie. All should go see it.
Paid for a 9:40pm showing for Spiderman: Far From Home. Movie was in auditorium 11 we all sat in that theater until 10pm after such I went to speak with a manager. After about 10-15 min more we were moved the auditorium 8 which was completely disgusting. It wasnt cleaned prior to the last showing that's unprofessional each room should be cleaned after the viewings.
Seen the Lion King 3d ...btw only thing 3d was the butterflies. As far as the theater is concerned, chicks up front were sooo ghetto they barely looked up at us to take our ticket . And when I asked the gurl were the bathroom was she acted like I was interrupting her conversation. I'm outta town so first impression definitely matters.
Finally some time out. Really enjoyed my self. Although my small drink was almost 6$ the atmosphere was amazing.
The over all experience was nice. No issues or drama regarding the crowd and staff was great.
Always clean. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. Highly recommend reserving your seats if you are particular about were you sit.
I love movies. The theater is clean and the people are nice.
It was a quaint movie theater, some areas need a bit of renovation though for the most part it's a good place to watch a movie or two.
Not a bad theater. Sound is good, seating comfortable. Staff is 50/50 helpful or useless.
The past few times I have gone all the pre-movie rolls in their imax have had this weird magenta hue making all the previews horrible to watch. The movie has been fine so it hasn't been an issue, but its weird to me that an imax theater wouldn't fix this in months.
Very awesome experience. Staff was under pressure but preformed very well. Keep up the good work. I will be coming back!!
I just love how this movie theater has less people. I enjoyed all movies in a peace and quiet.
There are many better theaters that offer a total comfort experience in terms of seating and concessions.
Love this theatre. Only problem is if you go late at night..its not the safest place to walk to the parking lot
Theater is very convenient but the parking lot they need to have a patrol. When I was walking to my car I saw a derelict walking around checking doors to see was they open and taking people's property. Call 911 but nobody ever came and I had to go.
This is the worst place ever. It's always an 30 mins wait for food. If you go here bring your own food and drinks because you will be late for your movie. Never coming here again. I would give them zero stars but I had to give them one.
This movie theater is where I go for convenience. It's pretty much ghetto now. I've been going here on and off for 20 years. They usually have one line open for tickets, so I would buy them in advance online. The line is slow, bc they have assigned seating, and it takes a while for people to buy tickets and choose seats. And the concession stand is only open on one level, even on a Saturday night, so come early or eat ahead of time.
A nice place to watch movies in the city without the riff-raff
Never got shot here. Great popcorn.
It's clean, easy to get to, and lots of dining and parking in the area.
it's my favorite movie theater to go to pently of movies to choose from.....
I like Regal Cinemas, but I haven't had the pleasure to enter this facility because the parking lot was too small and they all had handicap reserved. So I got on the 95 north and shot to UA Grant 9 big parking lot. They have parking for handicapped and regular people.
Ample parking. Easy to find.
Had a wonderful time with my daughter,it's clean respectful workers, snacks and food are to expensive....

went to check out the movie US and had the theater to myself so that right there was real cool to me

bring a blanket! the theater was really unreasonably cold.
The over all experience was nice. No issues or drama regarding the crowd and staff was great.

Went here to see the Peter Jackson WW1 documentary They Shall Not Grow Old and the theater overbooked the movie and allowed people with tickets to other movies and times to stay in our theater and watch our movie, then told us because we didn't have seats (even though they were paid for weeks in advance) we couldn't stay and watch it. They refunded our money but since this movie is only a special engagement we won't be able to see it in theaters now. At least the management was nice about it.
Very awesome experience. Staff was under pressure but preformed very well. Keep up the good work. I will be coming back!!

Multiple stories but only one of the food stands was open. I had to go upstairs to see the movie, but downstairs to get a drink. Definitely annoying. The seats are super old and uncomfortable and they don't recline. Not to mention, for some reason, people that go here think it is okay to bring your baby to a 9:30 (10p) movie (Creed 2). So the baby can make a ton of noise during the movie. It wasn't just one. There was multiple babies in there....making a multitude of baby noises. Talk aabout annoying. I'm not a fan of movie theaters and this place is a perfect example of why I will continue to download movies at home.

I had to get out of the GHETTO just to come to this movie theater out South Philly. Haven't been here in YEARS! I'll travel far just to go to a nice, ratchet free theater.
Love it and you can after your done your movie wait for another movie to start and go watch it
It was great to get out the house. However, after sitting in the theater, watching the Avengers for THREE HOURS, the theater seats became really uncomfortable because you couldn't stretch your legs. Also people kept getting up and down. I don't know who it was but after a while I was so itchy. There was something in the room biting. This was not good at all..
I like this theater for two reasons 1. It's only a 15 minute bike ride, with a bike rack conveniently placed right outside the theater. 2. It's ALWAYS empty, I can see my films in peace.
I was watching in auditorium 7.. Worst seating in this theatre. Hall was smelling bad.
Nice and polite staff. Good but pricey snacks. The front of my theatre had no one seated...only seating in the balcony...strange.
Great experience as always with the added distraction of someone on their phone but all in all had a great time.
It is not well kept. The concession stand was only open downstairs, making for longer lines. The workers seemed bothered when they took your order. Screen quality was poor, you could literally see the curve in the screen. There are better places with cheaper tickets.
This place slowly declined to one of thee dirtiest theatres in Philadelphia. There is trash everywhere, the seats are sticky/old, and the tickets are overpriced. About 10-12 years ago this place was amazing, it was always maintained clean, and it was my go to place. It sucks to review this so poorly but I would not recommend anyone to come here what so ever. I would recommend taking the extra drive to Woodhaven Theatre. I wish better management would happen along with a huge clean up. The architecture is beautiful and it's location is perfect.
I went to one of the smaller showings for endgame the second week it was out. Frankly the theater was dirty, the seats were uncomfortable and the viewing angles were suboptimal with limited space. I would not come back here even for IMAX. Though the tickets were a reasonable price, the theater itself was a distraction and the worst part about the movie expirence. It felt like a smaller theater in the 80s and 90s except dirtier, and smaller. There are just too many other options these days for better movie theaters. I do not recommend, choose another theater.
Every time I visit this theater I feel like something is crawling on my legs and feet! One time I left with several bites around my ankles. Seats feel sticky
Its cheap. Thats why i gave it 5 stars .
As usual. I had a great time at this theatre. The seating was very comfortable. The sound and picture quality was also top notch. The snack bar had a great selection of treats. Well worth waiting in line for. Can't wait to get back again.
Me and a buddy of mine showed up 30 minutes early for our movie. I ordered some chicken tenders and he ordered whatever. He got his right away, but for some reason my order took almost the entire 30 minutes. At first I didn't mind waiting, but there were like 4 employees just walking in and out of the kitchen seemingly just talking, so 20 minutes into waiting, I asked for an update from one of the girls. She said "oh she's putting them in the box now." I figure that means another minute or two but it took almost ten more minutes before the girl came out and called a number. I forgot my number so I looked down at the slip and in those several seconds, she started giving me an attitude, like waiting 30 minutes for chicken tenders is ok, but waiting 4 seconds is a huge offense. When we got to the theater itself (theater 8 if that makes any difference), we got to our seats and found out that the theater had not been cleaned, possibly the entire day. There was a box of nachos tossed on the floor literally right at our seats, so we moved to a different row, where there was slightly less trash but honestly still pretty dirty. The movie itself went off without a hitch. The picture and sound were fine. There was a crying baby but you can't really blame that on the theater.
Been there twice now and both times it smelled funky. I think this theater needs new seats. But the movies were good. I know that has nothing to do with the theater but Im just trying to be positive here
Our first time there. Liked the plentiful handicap parking.
Theatre was very clean staff was fairly friendly. Manager gave us a bit of trouble with an our employee discounts which was disappointing but it was all resolved fairly. Only wish they had some later showings. All in all though a good theatre with cheaper prices than other locations
If you come here at any time other than a weekend night, it probably won't be too crowded. It's a little hard to get to, so that may be why. Lots of theaters so a decent number of options.
Assigned seating has made this place torture. I could handle the dirty popcorn encrusted floors, slow, rude and often apathetic staff as it is close to my house but this new policy is just awful. Theaters should be first come first serve or at least offer that option for some showtimes. I’m done with this place now.
Plenty of screens here, enough for almost every current movie to be shown under the roof of one complex. We went in the afternoon when activity was light. The place was kept nice and tidy. The few employees that we encountered were friendly. There's plenty of handicapped parking in the lot out front, with standard parking a block away under I-95. The theater complex is wheelchair accessible.
Theater needs to be upgraded to recliner seats and stadium style seating arrangement. The bathrooms were clean but the floors in the theater were a little grungy. Overall, its a decent movie theater.
Fantastic place to enjoy a movie with friends, family or other loved ones. Also a great spot to take a significant other for a first date or 5th date!! Great environment, food and fairly cheap.
A decent place to see a movie if it's early in the morning. The staff that works behind the snack counter could be more motivated and have a sense of urgency. Getting popcorn and a soda takes way too long
Rpx is nice but the other theaters on there are pretty sketchy
Love it and you can after your done your movie wait for another movie to start and go watch it
Dont Let Go great movie

Great place to catch a movie plenty of parking
Movie screen was small. The food is horrible. Nachos' cheese is watery and the popcorn is bland. Waste of money. Things have changed over the years.
Nice and polite staff. Good but pricey snacks. The front of my theatre had no one seated...only seating in the balcony...strange.
Spacious @ Accessable Staff Personable and Very c Helpful Great Place for a Family Outing .
It's kind of dirty but good service
Great experience as always with the added distraction of someone on their phone but all in all had a great time.
United Artists Theratre was very good. It was clean. The Bathroom was Clean. The seats were pretty good. But I've been in seats that recline. Aside from that, I give it a 4 out of 5. Oh ! & there's Free Parking !
I love movies take girl here walk along the river

Convenient location, but needs updating. I am spoiled with assigned, leather, motorized, reclining seats. I probably won't go back until they have those for at least one of their screens, preferably an iMAX.
I went to one of the smaller showings for endgame the second week it was out. Frankly the theater was dirty, the seats were uncomfortable and the viewing angles were suboptimal with limited space. Fantastic little theater! Usual prices for food and drink, don't serve alcoholic beverages just so you know. Ticket prices are a wee bit steep compared to other theaters, but the best part is that here, YOU STILL DON'T HAVE TO PICK YOUR SEATS!!!! I almost stopped going to theaters before I found this place. I hate the idea of having to reserve tickets 2 years in advance to get good seats. Thank you so very much for keeping your seating first come, first served!
Great theatres including Imax, clean, good service.
Not the UA I remember. It's dirtier, long que for snacks, only one snack counter of 2 available is open, too hot. The upstairs snack counter is unused. Trying to get in was difficult, even with tickets in hand. What happened?
If you come here at any time other than a weekend night, it probably won't be too crowded. It's a little hard to get to, so that may be why. Lots of theaters so a decent number of options.
Seating chart is inaccurate. Concession stand only available on first level even though this location has another concession stand on the second level it is always closed. In addition, the females at the ticket booth are rude.
Assigned seating has made this place torture. I could handle the dirty popcorn encrusted floors, slow, rude and often apathetic staff as it is close to my house but this new policy is just awful. Love this Movies Theater especially on Monday. Its Quiet and Noone here
Never great never awful. Consistently okay. First time it was a mess with popcorn all over, there was 1 person working and a looong line until someone went to complain and suddenly another 2 workers showed up. This time there was this SPOTLIGHT above us, great movie and all in terrible chairs but the light completely ruined the ambiance. All the other lights dimmed except for the one right above me. Go figure.
Vacuous patrons talked through entire movie, many arrived after movie started, and some were video chatting through entire film and this was after ticket person mis-dirrcted us to an empty section on a different floor and our show was on 1st floor. Not a good night.
Philly keeps surprising me yet! I loved the theater itself, a lot larger and overall cleaner than what I was expecting when I first saw the building. My only complaints are that they should have had more people checking people's tickets given that they knew how many people should have been arriving for Avenger's Endgame and they should have had a box where people could have put their 3D glasses into for recycling. I hope to be able to give this theater another chance because I think they would be even better without the volume of people they had.
If I could zero stars I would give triple zero ! I went to see avengers endgame and it was the dirtiest movie theater I’ve ever been in! It was trash, popcorn, etc everywhere as soon as you walk in the door! The auditorium itself had trash everywhere and I even saw a mouse! It was so disgusting that I checked for bed bugs before sitting and me and my boyfriend didn’t even sit back in the seats through an entire 3 hour movie. The bathroom was also nasty as you can imagine and it seems as if they don’t have staff there to clean the building at all! I would never return and frankly wish I could get refunded my money for paying for a movie that I had to be uncomfortable to watch and deal with a mouse near my feet. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!
The theater is super easy to use! Parking, food, movie- how much better could it get?
It was great, every now and then I like to go to the movies instead of watching Netflix.
The movie theater was passible. I wouldn't likely choose this theater above any other unless I was in a particular pinch. The layout of the seats mean that none of them are at eye level to the screen and everyone has to lookup. The sound was merely acceptable and the visual quality was lacking in comparison to other theaters. The seats didn't recline, they weren't comfortable. They were flanked by hard plastic armrest that couldn't be moved out of the way. But ultimately when your eyes are on the screen and you've settled into your uncomfortable chair in a way that isn't distracting at least you can enjoy the film.
Super high quality visuals & sound. There is parking and it's an UBER 'quick pick-up'. Simple design to the space. It's not some fancy wood & leather place with butlers, but its sleek, nice & clean. 10/10 would recommend.
I like that this place is near me. Parking is easy. Lots of screens so they show a variety of movies. Staff is always helpful and pleasant. However the price point is high for old tired seats in comparison to much newer nearby theatres with recliners etc. that often charge a few dollars less for tickets...
I’ve never been in a theater so nasty and creepy. I watched a movie on what was essentially a big screen tv.
Concession stand lines were incredibly long. I waited in line for over 15 mins. Trash cans were overflowing in our auditorium when we walked in. Not the cleanest theater overall.
Nice ppl great movie theater no drama 1 advice never go to see a movie that only been out 4 days and everyone wants to see it boy was them lines long Lot of parking
Horrible needs a serious upgrade doesn't have the new chairs that recline not comfortable at all
This is the worst movie theater I have ever seen. I definitely will give them ZERO star if I can! They have a no service and are very rude. My friend and I went there after finished dinner. We just have some leftovers in my friend’s bag and have some soft drink. The ticket collectors stopped us and said we cannot carry any food or drink inside. Okay, we throw the drink out. And then they still don’t allowed us get in and they required us opening our bags and showing to them. And then they said throw out the leftovers or just finished it there. We was throwing everything then was allowed go in. But it’s wasting a long time, the movie was put out a while when we went in. First of all, if they do have the rule that people don’t allowed bring food in, the rule should be showed in somewhere of the theater or be posted near the ticket windows. And we was looking for the rule about food and we didn’t find anything like that in the theater. Do they have the right to stop people and ask them to throw away food without show the rules to them? Secondly, why we cannot watch the movie that we already bought the tickets. And they were wasting time and it made us getting late. Thirdly, do they have the right to open or required us to open our private bags?Do they have the right to threaten us, and if we don't open the bag and we are not allowed to go in. I don’t think so.
Service is poor, popcorn is usually stale. I don’t like it when the manager stands around not helping HIS crew at the concession stand. The few young men that work concessions need some discipline and lessons in customer service - or just a respectable/living wage, we should try both! Regardless, I go at least once a month. If you don’t like Hollywood movies, git out of America. Just kidding; try the Ritz, great indy and foreign movies there.
So there is a concession stand upstairs but it's not being used...... gives you a one star because people have to carry food from downstairs to upstairs for there movie.... noooooooo not good..... all that money employee some people & get that upstairs opened!!!
Very large theater! The quality is great. The concessions are super pricey but that's the way it goes. Buying tickets is super convenient and the concession staff are super friendly and great at their job! The seats in the theater are quite small but still comfortable. Be prepared to park on the street because the parking lot is handicapped parking only
The theater was packed with people who wanted to see the final showing of Emanuel. Emanuel is a movie that depicts the final moments of the Charleston Church massacre and the people they left behind. Very emotional! The manager, Steve Huang (sp?) could not be bothered to ensure the comfort of that many patrons and turned the air off. When confronted about the lack of space in the theater along with the air he was kind of lackadaisical. I will be in contact with the district.
Love this Movies Theater especially on Monday. Its Quiet and Noone here
The bathrooms are horrible. The toilets are too low, they leak every where and there is no paper towels or trash cans in the bathrooms. It's really disgusting.
Went to this movie theater with low expectations But was pleasantly surprised I viewed the movie in the Premium Experience Theater It was Amazing Will go again
Great sound but seats are too low. Matinee prices are too high. You're going to spend at least $25 total for admission, popcorn and a drink for 1 person. Ugh...get a Firestick.
Vacuous patrons talked through entire movie, many arrived after movie started, and some were video chatting through entire film and this was after ticket person mis-dirrcted us to an empty section on a different floor and our show was on 1st floor. Not a good night.

I had enjoyed my first visit. I have no problem returning. The hot dog are great too.

don't love this place. Don't hate it, either. Think of it as a necessary evil.
Nice comfy seats! Cold AC GREST SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM IN THE THEATERS! Great selection of IMAX etc.
Love spending the day here. Not a lot of traffic during the day so popcorn might be slightly stale but I still get it every time.
Good food and helpful staff. Great seating choices and clean environment.
I mean it wasn't terrible but we went to see toy story 4 and the food prices are outrageous but overall, I had a good time with my friends and it was a good movie but seriously, lower the food prices a little bit. We ended up paying $90 FOR FOOD!
The theater was very clean but the movie went silent two times and the seats were very noisy. That didn't make me too happy but all in all it was a nice spot
I used to avoid this theater and go to deptford to watch movies but just saw endgame there this past weekend and it was a great experience. Also their food/snack selection is robust and everyone seemed happy to be working there or seeing movies. I will continue to come back here!
Free parking if you park under 95 which is cool. I don't mind this theater. They've got a lot of interesting concessions. For instance you can get a pizza for the same price as a small popcorn. So it's a bit pricey, but not any different from other theaters to be honest. They host a lot of advanced screenings here which is really the only reason for me to go here. It's just not a convenient spot for me. Warmdaddys next door is a FANTASTIC spot! Definitely check that out before or after your show!
Love this place for movies. Lots of different choices to make.
Small theater...not crowded. Parking limited tho
Not that great, but it's OK. Prices are steep, but it's a major city, that's expected. The food takes ridiculously long to be prepared, even if there are only 4 people placing orders. We went for the matinee and waited nearly 30 minutes for fries and tenders to be prepared. During the movie, security had to come scold some rowdy kids who kept shouting and running in and out of our auditorium whose parents were off somewhere else.
The layout is very nice and knowing exactly which seat is yours makes it so much easier when you get into the theater.
Theatres are clean, the sound is very good (as expected).
Being an amputee, I didn't feel that the bathroom was not conducive to my wheelchair. And the only handicap stall was locked and I had to get a supervisor to accommodate my needs. It is a multimillion-dollar business and there is no excuse!
Comfortable seating, delicious pizza and friendly staff what more do you need when you go to a movie theater. Amazing movie theater
The seats are miserable. Not comfortable at all, and my wife's seat was sticky. Seems like they crammed airline seats into a theater. They need the nice recliner seating that most theaters have opted for. Unrelated issue ... A homeless man was watching the movie behind us and he smelled horrible. I realize that's not the theaters fault, but considering the location, I'm sure this wasnt an isolated incident. Only spent like 50 dollars for two tickets and movie snacks, so it isn't terribly expensive.
Never again. Every movie theater in the city of Philadelphia has upgraded except this one. You still have to go out in the lobby for food. The seats are uncomfortable and cramped. The theaters are not clean. There was food all over the …
Nice Movie Theater Plaza Ima... ✋'s Down and that's only In South phila
Since 2012, I went to see a thriller movie called ‘Safe House’ played by Denzel Washington. But since I didn’t have my State ID to carry, the staff ask me to see my passport when I turn 21 years old to see R movies. Does he movie theater has escalators and elevators for wheelchairs in case?
i really enjoyed when me and my class came in a trip to her, it was all great. (making long review) Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears! Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears! Are you a magician? Because whenever I look at you, everyone else disappears!
This is the worst movie theater I've ever been to. The environment is poor, the screen is small, and the staff has a bad attitude. I took the drink in my hand and put the food in my bag. The staff asked us to throw the drink away with a bad attitude and check my bag. Who gave you the right to check the guest's bag? The staff forced me to throw away the food in my bag. Where is the rule that no food is allowed in the bag? If you make it clear on your website that you can't put food in your bag, or if you make it clear on your ticket that you can't bring food in, then I will cooperate? However, you did not do so. Instead, the staff searched the bag without permission, which seriously affected our time to watch the movie. If a company doesn't care about customer experience, I don't think it will succeed
Pretty good here parking under the highway not far and pretty good ..the food and popcorn was pretty good too maybe the price can be a lil better but still not bad ..the movie theater we were in and seats they put us in we’re broken couldn’t even sit in them at all luckily the movie we was watching toy story 4 and there was only my family and one other family so we moved to where ever we wanted lol it was quite during the movie not bad at all I like when there’s really no one in there ...but still good had a good time with my kids and wife we definitely will come again the staff was also friendly too !!
I use to this theater all the time back then I'm high school and younger years its clean good Service and still have the same feel games on the inside food still good high but good
You’ll get about as good of an experience as you can hope for as this theatre. It’s a big building with large screens, don’t expect to only be there with a few other people. This is the place for big popcorn, blockbusters, premiers, and over-priced candy. Hit the Wawa around the corner for pre-film snacks, if you’re brave enough to sneak them in.
Love this theater. It's spacious and the people at the concession stand are really friendly. No frowny faces there thank God!
I think this place is pretty cool to see a movie.. I liked it and would recommended it to anyone.
don't love this place. Don't hate it, either. Think of it as a necessary evil.
Nice comfy seats! Cold AC GREST SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM IN THE THEATERS! Great selection of IMAX etc.
Better than I expected. The theater was clean, the staff was super friendly and I love that you can reserve specific seats. All-in-all an enjoyable experience.
It was the last showing of the evening and it was quite nice.
This theatre is a old and nice theatre. They have great parking.
Just saw Lion King. Great movie

Never again. Every movie theater in the city of Philadelphia has upgraded except this one. You still have to go out in the lobby for food. The seats are uncomfortable and cramped. The theaters are not clean. There was food all over the floor, juice spilled in the cup holders. They do not clean up. Only one security officer was really friendly. Other than that, HORRIBLE experience. Never again. Do yourself a favor and go to Broad and Cecil B Moore, 40th and walnut, or 69th st theaters before considering this one.

The staff and the movie was fine. The other patrons keep getting up to go to the bathroom. Very annoying!

Don't sit close to the screen, it is worst than most other theater I have been at
