Got a seat with a hotdog stuck in the drink holder. Half a hotdog, they didn't even clean the theater up. Seats were dirty as best and wet at worst. You could tell they were cheaping out.

Went to see Avengers: End Game. The theater is fine, but the staff is way too relaxed in enforcing rules. I sat in front of a disgusting family that had their bare feet on the chairs next to my face, kept talking, and snuck beers into the theater because their purse was never searched. I went to get management twice, all they did was loudly ask the theater to please not put their feet on the chairs. I expected the theater to do more to ensure the comfort of their customers and enforce basic standards of public behavior. People like that ruin the experience for everyone, but the management team has the obligation to make sure their facility discourages this behavior more effectively.

The people that work here are fantastic! The theater, however, is not that great. It's older and dirty(but that's more because ppl are slobs &they probably can't keep up!) and doesn't have 12 theaters like it says. It never has. I think it has 8 and they're all pretty small, especially 4 of them. Those 4 are really small. The seats are kinda gross sometimes, but really comfortable. The screens are atrocious! They are bunched up in some places, stained, have some holes/rips in them and just don't look good. They look bumpy or something. A lot of times it makes the picture look fuzzy. I mean this place isn't awful, it's just not that great. They're building a new section, but I feel like it's never gonna open because they've been doing it for years, and years, and YEARS! It's ridiculous! Someone that works there said it's done, but it's just sitting there. I mean, you built it so why are you wasting it?! Makes no sense at all! They need to open the new section and then close the old one, section by section, and redo it! Even if they just get new screens and deep clean the theaters and the seats, that would be great! It would look brand new! Also, they don't do 3D the right way. They have it set up badly. Cartoons aren't bad because they're pretty much bright all the time, but regular movies in 3D are WAAAAY too dark & fuzzy!! They need to adjust the settings because it's awful. I always drive to Pleasantville to watch 3D movies or go to the IMAX because it's worth it. They have their's set up right, usually. Overall, this theater isn't the nicest, but it's not horrible. It just needs to be redone badly, especially for those prices! That's what makes it ridiculous for how crappy it is. I only go on Tuesdays so that's worth it, but if I had to pay regular prices then it's not really nice enough for that. It's just ok.

I go here often and tonight was the worse experience I've ever encountered theater #6 had awful seat set up very dirty but the worse part to see a PG13 MOVIE you should accompany your children even after telling the ushers about them they did nothing then I turn around telling the 12 year olds this is the last time I'm telling them nicely to be quiet I get popcorn thrown at me then the kids go get their mom and she pushes past my husband and one child to get in my face and yell and cuss at me again ushers did nothing I will never go back I'll make the drive to mayslanding from now on

Everytime I visit NJ I tend to end up here. Sometimes even twice! The staff is super friendly and personable which is so important for a small theater like this! Only reason they get 2 stars is in Hope's that someone important reads this next part.... I've been visiting NJ for a little over a year now and the only downfall is the construction hasn't moved a bit. It's an eye sore and a disappointment. Give your hardworking super awesome employees something to be proud of and finish it or clean it up!

Walked into theatre#4 tonight, with my husband to see Alpha. The place was completely trashed!! The first four rows were filthy with food, napkins,and trash from the entrance. Luckily there were only 8 of us in the theatre and we all sat up top. My husband wouldn't let me go out immediately and tell someone because he said that would hold up the movie for everyone while they cleaned and it would have taken a long time to get presentable. I did stop and tell the manager afterwards. He acted perplexed. Maybe instead of two guys stocking candy, one of them could clean?? For all the $$$$$ we spend there, I was disgusted and angry.

An absolutely dreadful experience Went on August 10th asked for showtimes for Mission Impossible, a movie released only a week ago. We aren’t playing it. Okay how about, Blackkklansman? Nope. Instead all they were playing were movies that are several months old, but still asking full admission for and movies that have like the lowest Rotten tomatoes scores around. The Equalizer 2, Dog Day’s, Mama Mia, The Darkest Minds and The Spy Who Dumped Me. The worst was after spending a horrendous amount of money to see any of all the worst movies out I reached their concession stand which was literally bars of candy bought at a local store and sold for three times as much instead of the usual theater boxes. I noticed a carpet that at one point was probably very colorful was almost pitch black with scum and filth neon lights that appeared at one point to have worked we’re all blown out and burnt, the curtains lining the sides of the theater were caked in dust as were the vents for the air conditioning, and all around it was just honestly one of the worst theaters I’ve ever been to should have shelled out for parking at the Stone Harbor Theater first. Worst selection of movies, worst facilities, just the worst whoever is in charge should be ashamed.

We went to the movie theater tonight to see Tag...looked on line beforehand for times. Got to the theater about 7:15pm to buy tickets for a 7:40 film. Was told that they changed movie instead to Incredibles because there were so many people wanting to see that and the prior shows had sold out. There were 4 of us in our 60’s and none of us have ever had that happen before!! They didn’t change their website so I can’t imagine all the other people who came after us to see the film and were also shocked that they arbitrarily decided not to show the advertised movie in order to show the more “popular” movie. Maybe I should contact the producers of the film! When I complained and voiced my displeasure to the manager he just shrugged his shoulders...no offer for compensation for our wasted time or inconvenience. Horrible!!

This is literally the dirtiest, trashiest movie theatre I have ever been too.. Even if it is a rainy day and you've rented a beach house near by (as per our situation) do NOT even bother. The screen is tiny and the Floors are gross. The seats are dirty, and there are no ushers to quiet the urban crowd. JUST FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO trust me. Oh and it was almost 30$ for a stake popcorn and 2 sodas haha

Rio Grande location purposely tried to STEAL $22.50 from me. Then gave me a hard time about returning my money. Charged me for a 3D movie when it was a regular movie hoping I wouldn't notice. Then when I asked how old "children" need to be the rude guy with glasses refused to tell me their policy. When I told him one child was 12 he said that was an adult. When my ticket printed the ticket said " children are 12 and under". He lied. When I spoke to the manager the manager made no apologies and said customers lie. Funny because in my experience the only dishonest ones are the staff. Sadly there are no other nearby theaters to go to in our area. We are at their mercy and they don't care! Count your change and read your tickets is my advice.

Went to see the first showtime of Aquaman and the theater was so dirty that I had to leave my seat, on my way out I stopped to use the mens bathroom and the smell of pee was so strong that I stepped out immediately. I was upset and disgusted. I’m going to the Stone Harbor next time.

The staff is very rude. If you go and someone isn't attitudinal and snide with you I consider you lucky. The food prices are unreasonably high, the only reason I go so often is because there's nowhere else in close proximity. Oh and the pale guy with the glasses is always incredibly rude. But all the guys who take ur tickets are super nice.

A movie theater is a movie theater. They had current movies, candy, popcorn and soda pop. It showed its age a little, as the movie theater boom is over across the country, the mall it’s in much more so, typical failed strip mall that never made it. But I honestly don’t know what people are expecting. Ticket price was fair, concessions cheaper than comparable theaters back home, easily googled and mapped and found from Jersey Shore points. No broken springs in the seats injuring me or obvious fire hazards, no rats. It’s 2019 and it’s a 1990’s cinemaplex, It did its job just fine.

Not acceptable behavior, and even an employee apologized for his behavior. Absolutely pathetic.

The manager and his staff are very polite and seem happy to do their jobs. They are always friendly, kind and accommodating. The manager apologized and seemed to actually feel horrible that the movie we went to see was sold out. He suggested we buy tickets for the following day now. He explained that it looked like there was rain in the forecast again, which would draw big crowds. Rare to see such customer service and pride in one's occupation nowadays. A pleasure!

I go to this theater a lot and have never had a terrible experience until tonight. I went and saw Death Wish (a rated R) movie. The whole back row was filled with kids around 13 my guess. I don’t understand how they even were allowed in an adult movie. On top of it these kids talked, played on their phone, ran up and down the stairs, and jumped down the stairs making loud noises. It was very distracting and rude and Again I am not sure why they were even allowed in this movie...if this was a lower rated movie I wouldn’t be this upset but I went to grown up movie expecting to watch with other adults in quiet. I get it they are kids and that’s how kids are but what upset me the most was when I finally had enough I went to complain and the employees seemed bothered, which I get they probably deal with kids like this and it’s frustrating. But after they told the kids to quiet down or they are kicked out...do you think they ever came and checked again? No. After they left the kids continued to do what they want. Instead of spending money to watch an adult movie with kids running around...probably will be better to just wait until it comes out on dvd so I can actually enjoy it and hear what’s going on.

The theatre was alright, getting tickets was a war of attrition, there was a massive line with no rhythm or reason to it. They had one person selling tickets and almost everything was sold out; many people waited in line just to be told the showing was not available. I was lucky to see two movies back to back, the screen in our first showing was solid quality but the sound wasn't very loud. The second show was a complete disaster, the screen quality was awful, it had a streak / visual glitch; it was a line in towards the middle of the screen that ran from the top all the way to the bottom. The top right corner of the screen also had a very noticeable set of wrinkles. Each time I noticed the wrinkles or the hideous line, I would get completely sucked out of the movie and it would ruin the enjoyment.

I know its hard to go back to the standard theaters after going to the ones with recliners. However, even though it was tiny it was comfortable. The main problem I have with this theater was it was quite expensive!! It's likely we won't return. Why go there when when can put my feet up for that same price! (And maybe even a little bit cheaper)

Tonight I saw this most obnoxious woman yelling at an employee about the exit operation (sold out 715 Oz) and just had to say something as she was just the worst kind of trash I have ever seen. And since she threatened to write a review all over the internet I figured I would too. I am a frequent patron of this movie theatre (2 times a week in the summer and occasionally in the winter when in town). I find the complaints I just read to be hysterical. The theatre is extremely busy but small. The only complaint I have is just that. It is often sold out! The halls are narrow and once when I was there we were ushered out the front of a theatre for Dark Knight Rises. I did question the manager about this practice and he patiently explained that they do this because the already have a line of people waiting to get into the next show. Well I guess I felt like the dummy because it is very hard to try to get out of the place with a pile of people waiting to get in. Once I was explained this I understood why this is necessary. Since they do have two bathrooms it really is not a big deal to do what they asked to go right back into the front lobby. It is the same number of steps either way. I also find the staff to be particularly pleasant. I have noticed the same faces after several years of patronage so they must be doing something correct. The people at the candy stand are great and they always get me for that extra dollar for the next size up. I spend all winter near your typical Regal Cinema in PA and they do not even come close to measuring up. My family and I will be happy to keep going to this theatre. Oh and honestly, I would have punched the woman in the face if I were this employee. She just kept pushing and pushing him but he kept smiling. I guess that is why she was so mad. Walk the 3 extra steps you cow.

They wouldn't let us in. They locked the doors and locked the tills away. I wanted to see a movie that started 20 minutes ago and I would have used a card on their kiosk so I wouldn't have needed a register. What kind of business locks doors and tills while people are still inside. What if someone wanted popcorn? This is the worst service I have ever seen anywhere. Mind you, the man came outside to tell me the door was locked and the tills were put away. How rude.

I'm currently sitting in the theater waiting for "It" by Stephen King to start.. The crowds are crazy and our stadium, with our assigned seat, people are holding seats or having a place for their popcorn. My family and I had to sneak into the 710 showing despite paying for the 650 showing. Both showings are now sold out for this movie, in minutes. Despite the jerks in the theatre..Franks is awesome on Tuesday. 1/2 price tickets and great choices!!

I attended a showing on a Saturday night in October, and it was fairly empty. The staff was fine, not rude like some reviews said. They saved me about $2 on popcorn and drink combo as well. That was helpful, as the concessions are expensive. The theater was clean, the seats a little Dusty, but no "shoes sticking to the floors". The movie and sound quality were both good. A good experience, and I would go again.

I don't go to movies very often and I realize all the theaters do this but without stating my displeasure nothing will ever change. Tickets were $17 for my son and I which is a bit pricey for a noon showing but so be it. However, does anyone have an issue with paying $6 + tax for a $2 soda or $8 + tax for a $2 popcorn? I find it absurd when a soda and popcorn cost more than the movie itself. Like I said, I realize they all do it but who likes to be way over charged, I sure don't. It just keeps me away from the movies. If you don't speak up things will never change.

Its a movie theatre with 12 rooms. Over priced snacks. Clean theatres and clean bathrooms. No alcohol nothing fancy its a great home town movie theatre

Does the job on a rainy day down the shore. Go on a Tuesday better prices. Looks like it's under construction.. theatre 1 smelled a little but it is what it is. If I had to come back I would. It was something to do with the kids.
