This place should be the new standard of movie theatres. My wife and I bought tickets(you can reserve your seat, not first come first serve) right inside on their machine and got popcorn/soda from the concession stand($14). They have a bar inside but you have to drink your drink in the bar area and can't take it into the movie theatre........for now. The movie theatre is brand new, and has a couple of large theaters and a 5ish small theatre with only 30 or so seats inside. The movie theatre seats are recliners that have two levels of heat and a switch to recline back as far as you would like. Only one guy/gal/family bathroom each.

I love being able to order my tickets online and add my own perfect amount of butter to my popcorn. The seats are quite nice and I find the theater sound volume thankfully not ear-splitting. The whole place is usually quite tidy and I love the retro-eque movie poster decorations on the lobby.

Really great experience! We saw a movie there on Sunday, just visiting for the weekend and had no idea a new theater had opened until we searched for movie times! A newly renovated "premium" theater and it delivers! Definitely my new favorite. You can't beat sitting in a customizable recliner for the movie, with tons of leg room and a personally selected seat. The rest of the theater is excellent as well with a vaguely high end feel.

i normally dont post reviews but i had to commend this theaters staff. I attended this theater yesterday for the 7 o'clock showing of Deadpool 2 and a few people in front of me were three kids two boys and a girl who were not accompanied by an adult and appeared to be under 17 trying to get in. The manager on duty asked for their identification and denied them access to the movie when they could not prove they were over 17. I will frequent this chain more often with the knowledge that if it were my kids trying to sneak in to an age inappropriate movie they also would vigilantly be denied access. Good job to the manager and staff of Flagship Cinemas.

Absolutely the best seats(reclining leather) of any theatre around. Being able to reserve your exact seats in advance is great too: No need to rush to get first-come-first-serve. Highly recommended... though watch the popcorn, I had more unpopped kernels than I've had elsewhere.

I went to the Flagship Cinema today and saw Rambo: Last Blood. It was a good movie. The theater overall is quite excellent. Staff were very effective and really got the job done, which is more than I can say about Nickelodeon Cinemas and Cinemagic from time to time (though neither of them are really bad, they just need to work on getting the job done a little better). Not the first time I've been there. I went to the now-Flagship Cinema to see Shazam!, and the service was quite good, and made a lot of improvements, and I was impressed. I asked if there was any free refills for a large soda, and one of the staff said yes, go for it. And I happily obliged. Very decent theater, even though it was still connected to WalMart for almost 20 years, and still counting. Awesome service all the way. Thanks.

Seats are very comfortable. Online ticketing surcharge is a rip-off though in my opinion. Theater is reserved seats only so they should not charge extra to reserve in advance online. If you wait until just before the show to buy tickets at the box office seat selection is poor. My family of four couldn't sit together on a Monday night because we didn't buy in advance.

Automatic reclining seats are novel and comfortable. Theaters have assigned seating which means if you don't buy ahead expect to be down near the front. However the close seats aren't too bad. Recently saw Captain Marvel there and the sound and picture were great so exactly what you need in a theater.

Went and saw Incredibles 2 and had a great experience. The theatre was clean and cozy with only 7 rows, we chose our seats online in advance, and the recliners were very comfortable. Definitely going to return for future shows.

This is my favorite theater in the greater Portland area. The facility is well maintained and the staff is always friendly. It has large reclining seats and you can pick out your seat days in advance with online ticketing.

Cosmetically pleasing and comfortable seats. Friendly staff. But the theater tends to have a thriving population of unruly savages, and nothing is done about it. They ruin the movie. Some chains address this. It's infuriating to throw a bunch of money at a movie then have the movie, the whole point of the outing, ruined. The comfiest seats in the world can't make up for that. An expanded concessions menu and real butter would be nice. But ensuring that the audience can enjoy the movie without constant interruption is the main opportunity for improvement here.

Only one complaint, let’s start with the good. Very clean place, I’m here on vacation and this was an amazing movie. Comfortable seats, and gives you the option of heated seats. Staff very friendly. Will come back in the future if I come to OC again. My only complaint, there was not a secondary exit in the movie. That is a very bad safety problem. With all the recent events throughout the world. Every movie needs a secondary emergency exit.

What a great theater! The seats have motorized recliners and even with the seats reclined there is room for folks in your row to enter an exit without the need for you to move. You can see from the photo there is also no problem with visibility if someone is seated in the next row. You can purchase the tickets ahead of time on line with their website and scan yourself in when you arrive. Knowing this is here I'm a lot more likely to go out for a movie rather than wait for Amazon or Netflix.

Comfy seats, horrible service. Went to see Bladerunner in 3d, waited and waited, no movie. People started getting upset, still no info. My husband had to go track someone down who said they wouldn't be showing it, some sort of technical difficulties. I don't have a problem with something going wrong, I have a problem with how it was handled. Movie was supposed to start at 8:30, didn't find out anything until 9- we could've sat there all night; someone should've said what was up. Also, as we were getting our money back, the guy wasn't even trying to be pleasant. Our evening was just ruined, at least apologize or smile! Also, the place wasn't the cleanest, and I've seen tv's bigger than the screen. Comfy seats though.

What an amazing cinema; small enough for personal service but big enough to deliver big movie experiences in ultra comfortable recliners. Forget the same old same old and give Flagship Premium Cinemas a chance. My only regret is not living closer. We took the family to the Oceam City location, instead of going up to Salisbury and we couldn't be happier. The managar Leslie was very helpful and our experience was top notch. We can't wait to come back.

This place is great. The seats are awesome because they are electric recliners so you are guaranteed lots of space. The food is also good and the staff will help you as quickly as possible. I would recommend buying your tickets online or ahead of time though because you choose your seats when you buy your tickets, not when you enter the theater.

I give it two stars cause the place is very clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and even walk you to your theater. My issuse is that you have assigned seats. We are not in grade school any more. And if they are going to walk you to the theater your movie is playing in then they should help people verify which seats are assigned to them. Every time I go to the theater there is someone sitting in someone else's seats. This always cause issues and distraction of the films and other guest are having to be bothered by this. Then people come in after the movie starts and can not find their assigned seats in the dark and have to turn their phone to shine the flash lights so they can find their seats instead of taking what is available. Then people were taking pictures of the movie while using their flash.

Nice theater. No matinee discount but concessions were decently priced. Excellent popcorn. Seats were VERY NICE. Plenty of legroom and no need to worry about having to get up if someone leaves for the rest room. I’ve seen some reviews complain about the small theaters. I actually enjoy a more intimate moxie experience. I also think this was done to get maximum showings in a small location. There are 7 theaters total. Staff was a little confused on how to handle the technology. I have a rewards club card from a sister theater that is supposedly good at this location. They told me it was invalid even though I’ve been using it for the last 6 months. I was given a new one and was told they added $60 in credits and I could possibly merge the cards. When I got home, I discovered there were 0 credits on the card. Somewhat disappointing considering I drove an hour to visit this new theater. Only 3 stars because of inability to use my rewards card and ticket pricing. I will visit again when in OC but will probably not make a special trip.

The Cinema has been retrofitted with reclining chairs that are really comfortable. It really makes the difference from stadium seating to reclining seating. Now it is all assigned seating! They’ve done a nice job with renovating the entire lobby. The pricing is still incredibly expensive to go to the movies...At least now it’s way more comfortable and enjoyable.

I used to come here when it was a Regal Cinemas before Walmart purchased the entire building. I was so excited that Flagship had purchased it and revitalized the old cinema. Brand new beautiful movie theater in West OC shopping center! The recliner seats are very comfortable with the option of being heated for ultimate comfort. There is an option of "snuggle seats" but they are in the very first row so it would be uncomfortable to look directly up the entire movie. There are also assigned number seats. I did not purchase any food, so I cant review there, but the snack stand did look very inviting. I will absolutely be back! :)

When this theater was first opened in my neighborhood, this has been the best cine-going experience for me around. The recliners were really great, and real D 3D showtime tickets were available at 2D price. I've watched almost 50 movies here. However, recently the theater has become rather shabby, with auditoriums not cleared regularly after shows, and steep price of concessions. I'd recommend cinemagic at Clark's pond, South Portland for a better day experience.

I love this place. I come here whenever I can't see what I want in IMAX. This place has reasonable prices for a theater, it's very clean as well (not the most common thing for theaters in my experience), and it's most importantly just extremely comfortable. You can pick your seats beforehand and they are plush recliners that make for the perfect viewing experience. We're going to continue to frequent here and can't recommend it enough.

Flagship Cinemas has replaced the old Michaels in the White Marlin mall, which just so happens used to be a older Fox theater many many years ago. Now for this new theater, as a new location it is as expected being very clean and sharp looking. Tickets are purchased online, at a kiosk inside, or at a customer service desk. The concession stanf offers many food items other local theaters do not. For instance they have a array of hot foods, snacks, and even a refillable popcorn tin with each visit. There where I believe six different theaters all accessible down a single halfway with staff located at the beginning and in the middle of this passage. The theater was rather small compared to many other locations I have visited. The chairs are very comfortable faux leather which reclins and has a heated cusion. As you can see from the images many front row seating are definitely going to be nose bleed seats as they are WAY to close to the screen to be viable. We sat in the very last section and the screen was the perfect distance and size. However myself and significant other both complained about eye strain after the movie let out. Possible the picture was to bright yet we watched a darker movie. I would be affraid to watch a bright movie in this location. Overall was a enjoyable experience and will visit this location again in the near furure.

This is a really nice theater, with nice seating. It is too bad that the manager, Justin, is not dedicated to customer service. When I asked for help getting the seats that I wanted in a completely empty theater, I was told that he would not help me. He was completely uncooperative. Let me repeat that not a single seat had been reserved in the theater when I spoke to him. I will be happy to patronize this theater again when management chooses new staff or changes their attitude.

Went with my wife to see The Darkest Hour. Part of my birthday gift. Had a very disappointing experience with the theater. Arrived in plenty of time to select our seats. There were four left. I had F1 an aisle seat which was fine. When I got to my seat someone else was seating there. I then took an open seat E1. Ten minutes into the movie some one claimed my seat. I will never return to this theater again and I will warn anyone who goes. Management deliberately over books the seating just like the airlines! Beware! !

All seats are huge recliners. They have ear phones for those who are hard-of-hearing. You can order tickets online. The popcorn is hot and the drinks cold One thing I must live with is the plastic straw. They haven't changed over to the biodegradable paper ones.

This is our favorite movie theater in our area. It's much smaller than Westbrook or Clark's Pond. It's always clean and comfortable. Our kids choose this theater over all others.

I bought a ticket for a 3D movie on their website the other day, though later I was told that the movie was cancelled due to technical difficulties with the projector. When trying to get a refund for my tickets, I had to call the theater to request it. After suffering through a god awful automated voice machine that refused to skip ahead to the options and instead blathered on and on about their facebook, twitter and website, it told me to hang up and call the ticket booth with the number only provided on the options menu. (Why this number isn't on the website is beyond me.) When I finally got an actual human on the phone, I was told that they couldn't electronically transfer the money back onto my card and that I actually had to go to the theater to get my refund. This is complete nonsense because they clearly have the ability to transfer money electronically if they have an online order option but they for some reason cannot transfer it back. Complete nonsense and is probably some sleazy business tactic to get me to come to the theater to see something else. When I go to the theater the next day to get my refund, they tried on multiple occasions to give me a gift certificate instead of refunding me my money no matter how many times I said no. The worst part is when they only gave me back the money for the ticket and refused to give me back the money I spent for the online order fee. So I ended up losing money because of this whole ordeal. DO NOT GO HERE!

Very nice facilities. Food is overpriced like any movie theater, but at least they have a larger variety of food and drinks than the standard hot dogs and popcorn fare. They have the Pepsi version of the freestyle soda machines where you can freely choose from dozens of flavors. They even have bags of Fisher's Popcorn as an option, which is a very cool inclusion of a local food institution. Dippin Dots ice cream is also available. Alcohol is offered though I didn't try any and I heard you aren't allowed to take it into your showing which is kinda dumb. The actual theaters are very nice. With wide isles, staggered rows, and electric reclining seats (with seat warmers) it makes it a very comfortable experience with no risk of anybody blocking the view. Sound was pretty good, and the premium theater had a nice and large screen. The ambient blue lighting is a bit annoying, but it's properly turned off during the actual movie. Ticket pricing was okay, though there is no matinée pricing(at least for the new movies, didn't check older ones), the tickets were $1 cheaper than the older Fox owned theaters in the area so that's something. They also only seem to have showings between 12pm and 10pm. Tickets can be purchased online through their slightly dated looking site, but none of the popular ticketing apps like Fandango or Atom are supported. Tickets can also be purchased in person or at the provided kiosks. Overall it was a decent experience, and they will likely be my preferred theater in the area from now on.
