The owners were able to upgrade the equipment so as to be able to show the new releases and still keep one foot in the past. Our family all love the popcorn, etc. and the price is reasonable. It is not perfect, but it seems they have brought out the treasures, both old and new.

I grew up in Dagsboro, DE and every Friday night, we would go to a double feature at the Clayton Theater. My mother worked there as an usherette when she was in high school. I am so happy that it is still in operation today! It is a great piece of history and a wonderful bit of nostalgia.

Cool old theatre. Somewhat disappointing experience. I was expecting the interior to be in line with the amazing art deco exterior but was disappointed. It's very cool but is in need of restoration to bring it back to what I assume was it's former glory. Still cool but very very basic. The seating in the balcony was VERY close! If you are tall be sure to take an aisle seat! Not sure about the seating on the main floor. Very nice staff (family). Very laid back. Not the experience I was expecting but will probably go back. Very basic website. Calendar was inaccurate and somewhat misleading.

Best of all, the prices are lower than the multiplex theaters. You can actually have a family night here. They are also very active in the community.
