Fantastic theater; this place is an absolute showpiece, and gem that too many people in the region are inly vaguely aware. The restored art deco main theater in and of itself makes catching a show at the Warner a worthwhile experience. The Nancy Marine Theater at the Warner also is an enjoyable venue, but it's tough to top the main theater.

Beautiful art-deco theater originally opened in 1931. The theater was saved from demolition in the 1980's and has been completely restored to its original condition in the 2010's. The theater seats 1,772. A wonderful venue to see dramatic and musical performances.

This is a fairly small venue, but they bring in some good acts. Seating is comfortable and you have a great view no matter where you sit.

Honored to have seen the US Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus last evening. The love. The respect. The comradry. Still alive and robust in our community. The show far exceeded expectations. It was truly phenomenal. So much talent. Much needed excellent entertainment and to help us remember how much our military family does for us. Politics, religion, and personal beliefs aside. What an exceptional show in one of the most beautifully restored modernistic theatres you will ever lay your eyes upon. The theatre is art in it's own right.

We just saw LaBoheme. We had no idea that it was an on screen viewing, and not a live performance. I could have been mollified by the "comfy seats" and "beautiful old theater" raved about by other reviewers, but the live broadcast was shown in a very chilly, tiny room with terrible chairs. NEVER AGAIN

The Warner Theatre is the best part of Torrington. The newly added "black box" theatre makes for an amazing theatre experience. After taking acting classes, teaching classes and having volunteered as an actor for many of their shows, I can confidently say that the Warner provides a valuable (even magical) opportunity for the youth of of north west Connecticut.

Really great production quality for a small theatre house in northern Connecticut. The orchestra is outstanding and the acting is really great. Highly recommend attending a production. The building has allure of yesteryear and charm, as it is an old theatre house. Parking can be complicated yet not difficult if one arrives early or does not mind walking a bit.
