Seats are extremely comfortable ... recline, heated,not ripped nor are they "springy" ... wide width for all sizes! As soon as movie was over, 3-person cleaning crew came in to sweep ...very impressive! Highly recommend this theater!

Clean, new with heated reclining comfy seats! Two cafes one with smoothies and one with coffees and pastries. Parking a bit limited during busy times but not sure if there is overflow in rear. Nice Italian restaurant next door for pre theater dinner. Easy access off I84.

Best Place to go to the Movies in Western Connecticut! The stadium seating is fantastic. There's nobody behind you or in front of you. Southbury has a great theater! The only downside is that those seats are really easy to fall asleep in!

I don’t understand how this many people love this theater. You have to wait in lines to see a movie. Waiting in a line is one of the worst experiences at an amusement park, never mind a theater. I have been to many theaters far and wide, in-and-out of state, but this theater is the only one where they recommend you to arrive 30 minutes early where you have to wait in a line right outside the theater door. You can tell they don’t know much about running a theater since the interior didn’t give the “theater” vibe which really just gave me the impression that they were trying to show off. They also cram in as many movie times as possible (made apparent by the waiting times). The only reason I give this a 2 star instead of a 1 star is because the seats were comfortable.

Lovely because it's new. Nice leather recliners, small theaters but you don't miss a huge screen. Nice that you forget you're in a crowd due to steep platforms and tall backs on chairs. Sells out all the time so buy ahead, or drive in from far away.

What a neat little gem, this will definitely be my new movie going place. Reclinging heated seats, smoothie and frozen yogurt bar along with the traditional popcorn, candy and fountain drinks. Easy to get to and from.

Open, high-ceiling entry area has box office to the right and concessions to the left. View to the rear of the building from the foyer overlooks undeveloped woodlands. Additional (still vacant) retail storefronts are contiguous with the theater and parking lot.

Definitely my theater of choice when I am in Connecticut. Highly recommend this place to people that live in the greater Southbury and Waterbury/Danbury area.

I have been here twice. The theater itself is nice with comfy chairs that recline and are heated and it typically isn't that busy during the week. For $8 for a matinee it is worth the price. However last time I was there it seemed as if all the girl at the concession stand knew how to do was say "no". Unfortunately she couldn't get either butter machines for the popcorn to work. Then I asked if she could split a large popcorn into two smaller containers... The kids didn't want to share with me and she said no, that she had to charge me full price for each container of popcorn. I was a bit disappointed as I never have that issue at our local theater.

I'm surprised that they don't charge more for a ticket! They've got recliners, heated seats.. the works. These aren't just any seat. These are comfortable with serious leg room. You can't beat that price for under $10.

Normally I enjoy coming here, but the noisy slob that just had to sit right next to me almost ruined it. Gobbling his popcorn with his mouth open and he actually took a sip of MY soda. After he was done pigging out, he fell asleep and started snoring. This was the worst experience I had here because people who have lousy theater etiquette just make my blood boil. Five stars for the theater itself, because it's awesome, one star for what I had to endure.

Went there for the 1st time to see Hellboy. The seats were great. Lounging and heated but not really heated, maybe lukewarm, but still really great. You can still smell the new carpet, not a big deal but if that kind of thing bothers you, may want to check it out before sitting through a whole movie. The staff was very nice.

Clean and love the cafe that makes it different. Not only has reclining seats but heated. Impressed with the cinema. The only negative is that the young staff had no customer service skills. They pretty much ignored everyone walking around. However because of the rest of the atmosphere I would return. Great change from the noisy mall setting and prices are fair.

We just got back from the new movie theater, WOW! Great job guys, can't wait until this whole complex is open with all the retail space filled. You can really get a sense of what it's going to be like when it's done. They announced they were only half open but it was still a great experience. GREAT addition to the town.

This place was amazing! It was so clean, the seats were acutal recliners with heated seats. It's new, just built. There were no crying children or people screaming/ hooting/ hollering during the movie. The popcorn was buttered all the way through, meaning they didn't just dump butter over the top. And the employees were lovely.

This place has gone downhill really quickly. The women's restroom was disgusting. Two stalls were out of order, and the whole place smelled like a port-a-potty (or worse). Broken equipment, greasy fingerprints all over doors. Meanwhile staff are sitting or standing around doing nothing. The movie started late because "something" was broken. It was fixed, but I'm pretty sure the HVAC system was broken too, because the theater was very stuffy even though there were only a dozen people in there. We asked a staff member if the trash was recyclables, and she didn't know. Even though this theater is most convenient and the seats are comfortable, I'll be going somewhere else next time.

The bathrooms are already falling apart and always look filthy. The theaters are too bright during the movie, especially near the aisles. The parking lot is too small for all the businesses if you go on a weekend evening. We saw a popular movie on the second night and the sound cut in and out during the entire movie. We go because it's close and comfortable but for a brand new theater, it should not be what it is.

1st time here. Very comfortable. Nice size,but will get sold out quickly. Nice sound in theatre. Not thrilled that a few 1:00 pm showing doesn't start at 1:00 pm. If you can't begin on time, then maybe you should re-configure your times. We will try to come here again as it is a nice place. Hopefully it will be a better experience next time.

Clean and love the cafe that makes it different. Not only has reclining seats but heated. Impressed with the cinema. The only negative is that the young staff had no customer service skills. They pretty much ignored everyone walking around. However because of the rest of the atmosphere I would return. Great change from the noisy mall setting and prices are fair.

I saw Avengers Endgame here and it was really good. The theater is a little small and there are no assigned seats so I ended up in the front. Other than that it was very good.

After years of far-away traveling to Bridgeport or Danbury to see a current movie, it's a joy to have a theater that's closer to my hometown. And, what a theater! Great seating, smaller auditoriums for a "home-theater" feel, great concession choices, and reasonable matinee prices! Cinema heaven!

The bathrooms are already falling apart and always look filthy. The theaters are too bright during the movie, especially near the aisles. The parking lot is too small for all the businesses if you go on a weekend evening. We saw a popular movie on the second night and the sound cut in and out during the entire movie. We go because it's close and comfortable but for a brand new theater, it should not be what it is.

1st time here. Very comfortable. Nice size,but will get sold out quickly. Nice sound in theatre. Not thrilled that a few 1:00 pm showing doesn't start at 1:00 pm. If you can't begin on time, then maybe you should re-configure your times. We will try to come here again as it is a nice place. Hopefully it will be a better experience next time.

Great theater. Clean. Every seat is a recliner with a heater if needed! Reasonable ticket prices. Along with snacks you expect at the movies there are also very interesting additional food and beverage choices.

Convenient to have a movie theater in southbury, staff is friendly and it's always clean. Powered reclining movie seats are great, and have a heated seat option. My only disappointment is their bathrooms, which are totally black and have exposed pipes. This is a brand new theater, and I think it could have been nicer. But if you don't care, you're gonna love it.

This is a great theater! We just moved into a near by town and near had gone to the movies like this. The chairs reclined and had seat warmers. The screens were really big and the movies didn’t have many preview trailers ( which we really loved).

A very nice multiplex with several movie theaters featuring stadium seating with luxury seating that reclines and are heated. When you enter the building, the ticket counter is to your right, a snack counter tis to the left. Ticket takers are straight ahead along with the theaters in the left and right behind them.You cab buy your tickets on line but cannot pick your seats on line.

What a wonderful experience I had today. I took my daughter to a celebratory movie for the last day of school and her bday! We were met by a man behind the counter who talked to my daughter very kindly and allowed her to pick a candy...for free. What a sweet gesture. We enjoyed our movies In comfort and she enjoyed her candy. Everyone was very friendly. We will be back again. Really a great experience.

I’m a senior citizen and I used my aarp card to get mini kit kats for my husband, but he only likes the ones from that Chance the Rapper commercial that snap like that Thanos fella to kill all those Revengers. When I asked for those ones the young lady at the counter said those don’t exist. Why, it broke my husbands heart to hear that.

I haven't been here since it opened and boy what a difference. The place is a mess. The hallways we're dirty, the bathrooms we're dirty, and theater was dirty. It's like they have no cleaning staff. Seats were comfortable. Sound and visuals we're good.

The movie was close to selling out and they warned us we might have to sit in the front row which was really nice of them to do, it was much appreciated. I feel like most theaters wouldn't bother to do that. Highly recommend this theater and would totally go again.
