Went to see Peter Rabbit today, wonderful movie, polite staff! But after the movie I slid and fell on two stairs because someone had dropped something on the stair, I tried to find staff to make out an accident report but it seemed like everyone had disappeared... My back is sore from hitting the stairs and my shoulder from trying to catch myself... Just a little bit of notice in case of problems.... Theater #3.... 1:00 pm showing....

Only big movie theater for a couple towns. Luckily, it's pretty good-nice, roomy parking lot, clean, and except for certain nights it's not over crowded. They do the Regal events too, like Rifftrax. I just wish they would bring in some more independent movies instead of wasting a theater on ridiculous right-wing propaganda movies and odd Christian releases.

I used to come here years ago and stopped because of the customer service and quality of the theater. I recently tried coming 2 times several months apart. And both times, I was incredibly disappointed. On the website there was a 10:45am screening of a show. When I arrived then the theater was dark and locked. I stayed for several minutes with the theater clearly not being open and with no employees there. I drove for 30 minutes to get to this theater only for it to be closed. The company does not update their showtimes online day to day. This is an incredible disservice. I will not be back.

I like this movie theater. The ticket price for the standard format movies is apparently $6.89 over the weekends, which is very reasonable. The quality of the theater screen and audio are great. The seating is your standard seating (no reclining features) but for $6.89, you cannot beat it. I would recommend this theater!

My husband and I have had many pleasant visits to this Branford theater previously. Last night when we went to see Captain Marvel the heat was broken in the theater and we were not informed of this when purchasing the tickets. Immediately upon entering theater 2 it was clear that the heat was not on. All of the patrons were forced to keep on their winter coats/hats/gloves. I then went to the ticket teller to ask if there was an issue with the heat. This employee went over to her manager who stated to her that "yeah, the heat broke this weekend and no one has come to fix it yet." The manager did not address me or my concern at all and went back about her business. Not only was the theater temperature completely inappropriate for paying customers but for the employees to not inform the patrons of the heat issue and for the manager to not apologize when confronted demonstrates unprofessionalism and overall poor business. I hope that this is an isolated incident and that future visits here are more pleasant.

The facilities are nice, we usually catch a matinee show and it's never crowded. My only comment is seating cushions are somewhat wearing down. We watched a movie over 2 hrs long and usually I can sit through w/o any issues, but I actually had to move over a seat (maybe it just happened to be the seat I was sitting in). I did notice this on another occasion in a different theater. So keep in mind when you watch a movie in theater 1 or 2.

In need of major updating. We saw Avengers; the projector made the movie look like it was being streamed from a 56k modem. Colors are off, contrast etc. The seats are not very comfortable. The staff was nice though. Compared to Cinemark in Milford and North Haven... this theater is behind. I had to watch it again to enjoy the movie experience.

Cashiers are able to take all sorts of weird coupons. We used 2 $5 off from a product purchase. My daughter used Moviepass. The seats were comfortable and since we didn't have to reserve and pick out in advance like another movie chain which shall remain nameless, we showed up 20 minutes early and got good seats on a Friday night.

I been coming here for about 5 years now My family and I love this ..because its always has available seats ,and convenient ...no stress or hassles just grabbing your tickets and going to your movie .. not . like Showcase cinemas.. where I always get disappointed.. because they have no good seats available... even when the Avengers Infinity war first came out.. they had seats where no one else had a place for you to sit. I love this theater I will always keep coming back . fast friendly service ty

Most movie theaters these days are not worth going to based on the theater itself, but this one does a pretty good job. Relatively clean, at least compared to some other local choices, the Regal Crown Cinema loyalty program works out pretty well, and they have a good selection of snacks, if you willing to pay Movie Theater prices for them. The staff is friendly, and pretty good, and compared to some other local movie theaters, it's well-staffed on off hours. Bathrooms are good and kept clean. Pretty much our go-to place for movies locally.

I enjoyed my visit to Regal Branford Cinemas. The place is huge! 12 theaters. This was the only theater that had so many 3D showings within any reasonable distance of where we live. Graduated seating and comfortable seats. Loved it!

We've been here several times in the past few years and it was good, although I always get someone behind me that regularly bumps the seat. This last time, at the ticket booth, we were told we had free popcorn and small soda. I questioned her in disbelief, but she insisted it was free. So we indulged only to find out later that 15,000 points had been deducted from my account. That's not what I would characterize as "free".

This place is a joke. No wonder it is empty most of the time. Tonight I bought tickets, was directed to a theatre where the movie I wanted to see was playing. All the signage said we were in the right theatre, After about twenty minutes after the movie was scheduled to start, I went to the font to make sure we were in the right theatre. We were told yes and also confirmed that all the signs also stated that it was the right theatre. After sitting for an hour of annoying preview and commercials the film started, and it was not the film we payed to see. When I went to complain, instead of getting a simply apology, I was hit with every excuse in the book. We did get passes for another film, but no apology. A night ruined and made even more frustrated by the lack of acceptance of the mistake by the employees.

For a regal theatre this is a sad representation of the brand. Regal cinemas are usually clean, well staffed, well stocked, and offer a variety of food and snacks for your movie going experience. This location had none of that. It was dirty and unkempt. They had very little in the way of consessions, and staff were no where to be found. Inside the theatres, the seats were old and uncomfortable. It reminded me of those diacount movie houses where the floors are sticky and it only costs a dollar to see the 3 month old movie. Regal needs to step up and put some care into this location.

Nice theatre and good staff, plus they have this reward card thing that actually seems like a pretty good deal so that's #lit Life Pro Tip: bring your extra popcorn home after a movie and leave it out overnight. The butter soaks in and you can enjoy that buttery goodness for breakfast

I'm not quite sure why people continue to go to this theater. Perhaps it is the convenience considering it's the only game in town? Tickets are overpriced and so are the concessions. The theaters, lobby and bathrooms are dirty. The seating is very uncomfortable with many seats in awful condition. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to North Haven or Milford where you can watch a movie in the comfort of recliners, new technology and cleanliness all at a much cheaper price.

Sometimes older is BETTER. In 2018 my 'go to' theater replaced it's seating with 'luxury recliners'. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be designed for humans to sit in, only allowing for one way to sit in them. They were so intolerable that I ended up leaving the movie on the two occasions I used them. My back hurt for days afterwards. And I honestly don't even remember what those 2 movies were. I was so uncomfortable that it's the only thing I remember of the experience. I realized that I haven't seen a movie since October, when the last of the old seats got replaced. It seems that all Cinemark theaters in my area are installing this seating. So I found myself looking for other theaters in my area. This Regal Cinema is definitely my new theater. It looks a bit 'old'. But not in a bad way. Everything seemed well maintained. The whole place looked very clean (and smelled clean too). The orange paint in the hallways certainly looked like a dated color. But it was also clearly fresh, and well applied. The carpets in the hall also looked dated, but they were clean and didn't look worn. However, all of that is secondary (in my opinion). The REAL reason I go to a theater is to WATCH a movie. And I was not disappointed here. The seats are good, sturdy, older style theater seats. They let you pick a seating position that YOU find most comfortable. The theater floors were clean. The screen was fine. And there was no sign of crackling from the audio system. (Every Cinemark theater I can remember has the volume set far too high, which damages their speakers over time. And they don't replace them often enough.) I was not in any way disappointed with my experience. I'll be using this theater from now on. If you also find Cinemark's new seats to be unbearable, or you feel that a clean, well maintained theater is more important than shiney new carpet, or trendy wallpaper, maybe you should try out this Regal Cinema.

I actually liked the older style seats as long as the backs can lean a bit, but these in Branford don't move at all.

We've been here several times in the past few years and it was good, although I always get someone behind me that regularly bumps the seat. This last time, at the ticket booth, we were told we had free popcorn and small soda. I questioned her in disbelief, but she insisted it was free. So we indulged only to find out later that 15,000 points had been deducted from my account. That's not what I would characterize as "free".

This place is a joke. No wonder it is empty most of the time. Tonight I bought tickets, was directed to a theatre where the movie I wanted to see was playing. All the signage said we were in the right theatre, After about twenty minutes after the movie was scheduled to start, I went to the font to make sure we were in the right theatre. We were told yes and also confirmed that all the signs also stated that it was the right theatre. After sitting for an hour of annoying preview and commercials the film started, and it was not the film we payed to see. When I went to complain, instead of getting a simply apology, I was hit with every excuse in the book. We did get passes for another film, but no apology. A night ruined and made even more frustrated by the lack of acceptance of the mistake by the employees.

For a regal theatre this is a sad representation of the brand. Regal cinemas are usually clean, well staffed, well stocked, and offer a variety of food and snacks for your movie going experience. This location had none of that. It was dirty and unkempt. They had very little in the way of consessions, and staff were no where to be found. Inside the theatres, the seats were old and uncomfortable. It reminded me of those diacount movie houses where the floors are sticky and it only costs a dollar to see the 3 month old movie. Regal needs to step up and put some care into this location.

I'm not quite sure why people continue to go to this theater. Perhaps it is the convenience considering it's the only game in town? Tickets are overpriced and so are the concessions. The theaters, lobby and bathrooms are dirty. The seating is very uncomfortable with many seats in awful condition. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to North Haven or Milford where you can watch a movie in the comfort of recliners, new technology and cleanliness all at a much cheaper price.

Sometimes older is BETTER. In 2018 my 'go to' theater replaced it's seating with 'luxury recliners'. Unfortunately, they don't seem to be designed for humans to sit in, only allowing for one way to sit in them. They were so intolerable that I ended up leaving the movie on the two occasions I used them. My back hurt for days afterwards. And I honestly don't even remember what those 2 movies were. I was so uncomfortable that it's the only thing I remember of the experience. I realized that I haven't seen a movie since October, when the last of the old seats got replaced. It seems that all Cinemark theaters in my area are installing this seating. So I found myself looking for other theaters in my area. This Regal Cinema is definitely my new theater. It looks a bit 'old'. But not in a bad way. Everything seemed well maintained. The whole place looked very clean (and smelled clean too). The orange paint in the hallways certainly looked like a dated color. But it was also clearly fresh, and well applied. The carpets in the hall also looked dated, but they were clean and didn't look worn. However, all of that is secondary (in my opinion). The REAL reason I go to a theater is to WATCH a movie. And I was not disappointed here. The seats are good, sturdy, older style theater seats. They let you pick a seating position that YOU find most comfortable. The theater floors were clean. The screen was fine. And there was no sign of crackling from the audio system. (Every Cinemark theater I can remember has the volume set far too high, which damages their speakers over time. And they don't replace them often enough.) I was not in any way disappointed with my experience. I'll be using this theater from now on. If you also find Cinemark's new seats to be unbearable, or you feel that a clean, well maintained theater is more important than shiney new carpet, or trendy wallpaper, maybe you should try out this Regal Cinema.

Regal Cinemas, do you only respond to five star reviews? So disappointing! Came to the cinema as we got movie tickets for Christmas. Sat in Theater One. The seats STUNK. They smelt like someone had an accident and they were never cleaned. Felt dirty leaving there. Is worth the drive to go to North Haven, honestly. Such a shame. If I spent my own hard worked money on tickets, that would have put the nail in the coffin for sure.

Though they don't have those reclining leather seats that the new ones do, its still a nice theater. We went as a family on a Monday evening so the place was slow, which was fine by us. That didn't change the service quality. The place was clean, the attendants welcoming, helpful, and attentive. I ordered off their new food and beverage menu which was priced as to what a concession stand would be priced. I had a margarita (from a can, again not bad) and pretzel sticks. Both were great. The rest of the family got popcorn and assorted snacks, again- fresh and good. The seats in the theater itself were comfortable. The room wasn't to cold as some theaters tend to be. Give it a shot!
