We offer you the information of people like you who know the services of Mansfield Drive-in Theatre & Marketplace (Movie Theater) near Connecticut.
Now the firm receives a rating of 4.6 stars over 5 and this score has been based on 989 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is almost the best one, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may say that the evaluation is very credible. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to put opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater is included in the category of Drive-in movie theater.
Me and my grandson love coming here
I Loved it It was a great experience The Place was great , the food was good I would love to do it again Soon
Large "flea" markwt. Many vendors and products for ssle. Definitely a place to check out.
Brings back memories
I love it besides my car batter went dear with my car radio on .Thank god they have jumped boxes here .That happends s lot lol.
A night at the drive-in is return to childhood with the exception of modern movies. The look and feel of the surroundings haven't changed much at all... an enjoyable experience to say the least.
Definite go to. Great date night. 2 movies for the price of one. Very nostalgic.
We were there 6/14/19 and the movie Men and Black was to start at 9 pm and the movie never started we left without a refund. They wanted us to go back into the property and go to the snack bar for a refund. Just terrible the popcorn was good though unfortunately movie to watch
Came here for a nice family night. We really enjoyed the movies that were offered. But there was some drama with the cars parked next to us, so our first movie was kind of tainted with flashlights, loud arguments, and the police showing up (he was at least nice enough to move his cruiser from in front of our truck so the kids could continue watching).
Lots of vendors plenty of parking and friendly helpful staff all ovef!
This double feature drive-in isn’t only a double feature when it comes to films. No no, it comes back around with a tag sale / flee market one of the biggest in Connecticut in the mornings it’s absolutely amazing, it’s crazy how many people you can meat you never imagined by going to one of these things and then again when we switch over to the movie nights they have snacks for sale all be it the prices are steep but cmon you’re allowed to bring your own so if you forgot that’s your fault. All in all I really love this place and I enjoy going here, it’s like a blast from the past but right here in our own back yard
Love this place. Brings me back to when I was a kid. Had to bring my kids there. You should too. Food is great. The old school music and themes....love it don't ever change. Saw Toy Story 4 so the kids will always remember seeing it at a drive in theater. Nostalgia baby.
It was awesome always a great time. And they have a big flea market. Great location nice people.
So much fun!
Went to the weekend flea market which turned out to be really neat. There's alot of different sellers so you shouldn't have a hard time finding something you like. I will say there were some sketchy dealers around but overall would recommend.
Nice big screens ok price
It's the best flea market near southeastern CT. They're open on Sunday mornings, and resume showing movies at night (Sunday through Saturday).
Best drive in by far
Great little drive in. 3 screens. Not the best sound on all channels. Overall a good experience. Can't beat it for the price.
We travel an hour and a half to come here for the drive-in movies so our twins can experience the fun of a drive-in like we used to when we were children. It is such a great place and I'm so glad we're are able to make everlasting memories here. Their movie selections are perfect and are up to date with all the regular cinemas. Their snack bar is super cute and has a great variety. We will continue to make this trip every couple of weeks throughout the summer. Simply amazing!
Great place to take the family. Also great flea market.
Great place for the fam...defenily lit..
Great deals and interesting finds all in one place.
One of the last remaining multi screen drive-ins left. The prices are extremely reasonable for a double-viewing and the snack bar always has a massive variety of really good foods and snacks.
Went there to watch a double feature Toy Story 4 and Aladdin. The price is per person in the vehicle not by car load like back in the day. With that said it was fairly priced considering it was 2 movies. Nice concession stand and a good variety..
Awesome drive in great experience.
Buy tickets in advance online and save. Also bring your own popcorn. $$$. 3 screens! A summer tradition.
Beening going to flea market on Sunday's for 20 plus years. Vendors change weekly and so does inventory on everyone's tables. Fun family atmosphere. Owner Mike is down to earth which sets the tone for the plsce.
Place was great minus the crying baby...
It's always fun to go to the flea market. Two bucks gives you access to hundreds of vendors and maybe that special find.
Different experience watching a movie at the drive-in rather than going to the cinema or watching a movie at home. We enjoy packing a cooler with food and sodas. Sitting outside & watching the movie on the big screen on a warm summers night. Nothing like it!
We saw the Rocky Horror picture show here. We had a great time. The staff was very helpful and even when the food line was long, they moved it along pretty quickly. The food was a little too expensive, so no 5 stars.
Nice place to go it was a great night out with family
nice place to bring the family for a dual movie, make sure the radio in the vehicle works because the volume on the boxes to put on your window are not very loud but a nice place altogether
My first drive in experience ever. Everything was nicely organized. Except for the fact that a really big pick up truck was in front blocking partial view of a lot of drivers, it was a great experience. I recommend getting there extremely early for optimal parking.
Go as much as we can every year. Great drive in
Great place to go watch movies! Inexpensive even cheaper if you purchase the tickets online ahead of time. Staff was very polite and welcoming. Very clean too. Can't wait to go back
Love the multiple screens. Tip: Before going, learn how to turn off your headlights/ running lights, on the car we brought, we had to set parking brake and then turn car on. This vehicle is a button start, so no radio without car being on, very awkward start to enjoying this drive in. Bringing a portable radio is also a good backup plan.
Many tables, much to see, great deals.

Love the flea market and you can't beat the drive-in! *Edit* Not exactly sure what was going on but waiting almost 30 mins for food while others skipped lines and were served before us, is utterly ridiculous. There is no ticket system. Or any system of any sort. Also, a little prep before hand will go a very long way in avoiding long lines. Going to leave the 5 stars and chalk it up to a bad night. Will give the food stand on movie night one more chance.
Come here for the flea market on sundays. Still the best, selection, price and assorted vendors. Plenty of parking, friendly crowds.
Great deal for two movies. Screens are a good size, and I've never had visibility problems even in the rain. Snack bar has good options for reasonable prices. The employees make sure people aren't parking wrong or being jerks, so we've always had good experiences. Love this place.
It was like going back to my teenage years! The staff was ever so helpful and they just spent time talking with you like back in the day!! Wonderful way to spend time together as a family!
Had a nice night out with friends and family.
Great place to shop in the weekend flea market, less so when actually seeing a movie. Still fun, just not my kind of climate. However, when it's flea market days, the whole drive-in gets converted and lots of different vendors come by with all sorts of stuff. Excellent value!
Too many speakers are out of order, parking spaces are extremely close to each other. We had a very loud party next to our car. The great thing is that you can put up your windows and listen to the movie via FM radio. Picture on the screen is perfectly visible.
Nothing better than a drive-in. Always clean and staff is friendly. Great family activity and prices are great.
Huge venue with tons of vendors. Allow at least 3 hours to see everything.
The Mansfield driven is great! 3 movie screens with double features. It is now open on weekends for 2019. It cost 11.00 per person and 7.50 for seniors. Discounts for under 12 and Veterans! Their are some speakers but please bring a radio to tune in. The service was friendly. The drive in, clean. Bathroom clean too. The snack bar was booming with pizza, hotdogs, burgers fritters, fried dough, and all the junk food imaginable. I have to say a medium soda cost me 4.00! Hosmer soda though. I recommend all to come here for a bit of nostalgia! They still have swings for the kids too! I know in tje summer on Wednesdays its a low price of 20 dollars for a car full. Hopefully the same as last year!. Bring your chairs and relax under the stars and watch a movie! Great place for the family, friends and everyone! On Sundays it turns into a huge flea market! 8-2. Something for everyone.
This place is a must go, better if you have a vehicle with a hatch back.
Drive in and movies are great, but could you update the snack bar and bathrooms? Or clean them up some.
A Flea market experience for me. Unique shopping.
Its absolutely amazing here great for family night or a date night they have bathrooms and food there can go late though but overall awesome
Made me feel like a kid again
I love the concept of this and had a great time but was really frustrated with the service. (1) Though the website says you can buy tickets online until 7:00pm, link gets taken down significantly early (6:30pm - called in to verify as well and confirmed with staff that they had taken it down early). (2) I arrived requesting Screen 3 for my two intended movies - Lion King and Spiderman. Was told by staff at entrance that this was wrong: that screen three only showed Dora the Explorer and Spiderman, and that I should instead go to Screen 1. I reconfirmed (with witnesses) twice since the sign said otherwise, listing Screen 1 as Lion King and Toy Story 4. We only figured out when Toy Story started that we were in the wrong screen, and by that point our intended second movie was 20 minutes in on a different screen. It's a great place, good snacks, fun concept. But this inconveniences really threw me off, especially given the long drive to get there.
I always go a bit early to get a good spot. They fill up quick for good movies. Safe, clean, community feel. Great way to spend time with family
LOVE this fleamarket! We always find great deals. Today we got an almost new golf bag, an Order convection oven new in the box and 2 old fashioned gumball machines brand new, one with the stand...only spent $68 on everything!
Always a good time good visibility for all 3 screens, friendly staff. I go as often as possible. Very fair prices and double features on all 3 screens, deffintly more cost effective then an actual theater and more fun!
Been going there since I was a kid and every time I go which is usually once or twice a year I have a great time with my family, good movies for a good price.
Been going here for 30 years never had a bad time
Love the flea market on Sunday's....nice to walk around!!
The screens are good and the food is good. They have to do something more about people and how loud they are and turning on their lights.
super cool
Best drive in ever! Well, the only drive in left, so it's the best!
Love this place ... The atmosphere is nice and very friendly .. And I just love the flea market on sundays lots of great treasures to find ..
One of the few remaining drive-in movies left. Has a concession stand and a playground . A fun place to go for a night out with friends or family
Loved it, so much for cheap
Wonderful environment! My favorite place to go every week! Highly recommend
Great place. Family atmosphere.
Went there for the flea market. Had a good day. Plenty of parking.
If you want it that got it on Sunday 8am -2pm
This was so much fun! The wife and I took the kids for their first time and honestly it was nice. I love the feeling being close with my family and watching old movie commercials it just really brings a sense of family and fun. Just don't forget to turn your lights off or people get really irritated... ;) I'm definitely going back again.
Last great Drive in not many left
Went to the flea market that happens every Sunday during the spring and summer. You can find what you're looking for here. Antiques, knockoffs, furniture to refurbish, gardening tools, they have it all. The market uses a section of the drive in parking then they use a refurbished building for inside vendors. There is a food stand and bathrooms.
Pizza was so small for $12 definitely don't buy

The flea market rocks and so does the drive in so glad that we are lucky enough to still have this in the area for something to do

Pizza was so small for $12 definitely don't buy
Very good but a few dimwits made it bad but after they left it went back to great
Best bang for your buck.. late night movie dates.. 2 for 1 on the price. Cant beat it with a stick
This was a pleasant experience, we bought our tickets online to save a few bucks. They run 3 screens at once. Exit signs are not clear so we drove in front of a screen when we were leaving.
So much fun. You can't beat a double feature for 10 dollars. It's not the theaters fault the movies weren't that good :)
Great place to bring family to watch a double feature of movies that have just come out. And Sundays the flea market has many sellers.
Best theater I’ve been to yet. Very nice staff. Very nice surroundings. And great pricing! I don’t know any other theater that does 2 for the price of 1.
Lots of fun! The newest movies and an affordable price... especially considering you get to watch two movies for the price of one
A small misunderstanding about online ticket sales has totally soured my taste for the Mansfield drive in. We ordered tickets online for Wednesday night not realizing that it was carload night for a flat rate. Apparently, on car load night tickets are only available at the gate. When the staff at the gate pointed out what happened, I simply and kindly asked for a credit of the difference ($13.96). The staff member rudely said "that doesn't happen here" and walked back into the booth. When we got situated, I went to the snack shop to try again, where a different staff member told me that they do this sort of thing all the time and was very happy to help, but stated the manager had to issue the credit or refund. He went to get the manager. The same rude person from the gate came over and identified herself as a manager. She proceeded to tell me that she wasn't going to do anything about it, that it was my fault and I should read better next time. She got extremely condescending and started talking to me like I was incompetent. I calmly explained that it wasn't easy to find what she was pointing out on the site and that they should make it a bit more forward. I again calmly explained that I just wanted to pay the flat rate and have the difference credited. By this point she was getting arrogant. Her attitude and tone towards customers is completely unacceptable. I could totally understand that if I was belligerent and loud, not doing something, but that was not at all how I approached this or her. It was a simple mistake, with a simple fix. I hope they will make this right. We are there at least once a week all summer long.
Nothing better than watching a double feature under the stars in the comfort of your car or bring chairs and sit outside of your vehicle. You can create wonderful family memories here. This is a truly rare experience and so few drive ins left. We are very thankful to those who own, operate, and provide smiling faces at the Mansfield drive in. Special note: there is also a flea market on weekends...I believe. I have not been to the market, but several friends told me it is worth the trip
Great throwback to the old days of drivein theatres. Nice option for 3 different movies in one theatre. Food was typical fare and good. Loved sitting in the pickup truck to watch movies like the old days.
They keep cars moving but are still friendly and helpful. The food building has a lot of tasty options at good prices. They do need to update their bathroom space a bit. But everything else is always well kept and definitely worth checking out. Movies are good "today" options. And I love that they do different events in the day and night. I took my girlfriend who was visiting from London to their live reenactment of Rocky Horror on Halloween. Very fun having people sit outdoors with blankets and fire pits.
Such a wholesome family place with great movies!
A great night, and good pricing. They have a full service cafe with popcorn, fried dough, soda, and drinks. Prices are comparable to an indoor theater although some of the amenities here are dated like the restrooms, and antennae boxes.
Great place for family fun.
Always a lovely time at the movies here!
Not bad I liked it !
Always a great time
Don't waste your time and drive no bargains lot junk that I would throw away
Double feature, first run movies! Best flea market ever. Don't go. It's all mine!!!!
Still has the memories of being the old nostalgic drive in that I remember it as. Fun times for the family
Shouldn't open this early to muddy very bad prices not bad some good some retail
Super expensive as compared to Tri-Vue in RI. Grounds are nicely kept.
Awesome night. Great food too
Great drive in. Good screens. A little pricey
I enjoy the flea market they do on Sunday
We go to the drive in at least once a month, the movies and sound are always great, the facilities are always clean, the people who work there are very friendly and the snack bar is always fresh, hot and clean as well as reasonably priced.
Fun time. Just make sure your speakers are loud enough.
Great Place to go out and enjoy it is a GREAT PLACE. I'll see you rating this place...
Had a lot of fun here!! Huge drive in with 3 screens!! The food was normal movie food and was a little over priced but over all it was a great time.
Enjoyable and affordable movie experience as long as you don't buy food. The prices are absolutely insane in the food court area so it is best to stock up before hand.
Went to flea market but most vendors want almost full price for used stuff and that's not how it works
Not bad 10 online per person to watch 2 movies. Staff very nice. Easy to park and watch a nice movie. Bathrooms are quite disgusting. Where you get your food feels like a oven, bc practically it is one where you walk up to. I think some work on that and this place has full 5 star potential
Huge nice flea market but no dogs allowed
Wednesday car load night perfect
Great place for a double feature. Bring chairs, relax outside or a blanket to snuggle with your sweety. Nothing like a drive in
Best place to introduce movies to little ones I suggest you get there early get a good spot not everyone follows rules of where to park and how many vehicles per spot but not to bad.
Its a nice little place. Movies are good (almost always 20-45 mins late starts), parking area is nice, has decent food options like popcorn, burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers.... But their bathroom is pretty out of date. They've been in business for a long time, make a killing on movies and the ladies room had two toilets not working, a sink not working, plus its seemed like there was little to no maintenance before show time. Throw some tissue in your pocket in case. Overall nice experience, but try to go to the bathroom elsewhere. We go to the drive in around twice a month for through their whole season usually.
Always a great time here!
Great place. I just wish they didn't allow smoking in the viewing area. Also, would be good if someone came around during the movie to make sure everyone had appropriate volume level and cars parked in the right place.
Very good but a few dimwits made it bad but after they left it went back to great

Best place to introduce movies to little ones I suggest you get there early get a good spot not everyone follows rules of where to park and how many vehicles per spot but not to bad.
Great place. I just wish they didn't allow smoking in the viewing area. Also, would be good if someone came around during the movie to make sure everyone had appropriate volume level and cars parked in the right place.
Visit fleamarket on sunday big lot vendors lot stuff.nice good for families.
Loved it. Something different and old school.
Great place for family to enjoy time with each other must experience what a great time really is
We enjoy movies here every summer. Staff is nice
An awesome two-fer!! The Sunday flea market is one of the best in the area. And in the evenings, step back in time and enjoy an authentic drive-in with period-appropriate snack bar. Movies are double features and are always current headliners.
Parked so we could open the back and have ourselves a tailgate movie night. Grabbed our pillows and blankets with all our drinks and snacks....Had a great time, can't wait to do it again!
Fun drive in experience with new movies
We loved it! The kids gety tho run around while us adults cuddle and watch movies and surprisingly the good isn't half as expensive as I'd anticipated, def a wonderful idea for a summer night!
We have been coming here since we were kids. It's always a magical time. Well taken care of. Good prices for concessions.
Took my daughter to the drive in for the first time. We both had a great time!
The only downside of this lovely place is that people don't park properly. I've been twice in the last couple of years and both times people park improperly or keep turning on their cars and shining their headlights. Staff may tell them to do it once or twice but they don't try after that and it takes away from the viewing experience. Its a lovely place with lovely food and very good prices. I highly recommend it even with the bad parking of customers.
This place is an awesome blast from the past with the movies of today. A must go to experience.
It's great being at a drive-in again! It's just a really fun experience! Go whenever you can! It's always fun!
A family staple! Great date night and fun Sunday morning flea market
All resellers, if you don't pay $40 to get in when the sellers get in, everything good is already bought - They deal between themselves before the public is allowed to enter -
Too many rednecks who don't know how to act.
Very good flea market.
The screen we were at was blurry and the concession stand was out of most things within 5 minutes of the movies starting. Most of the staff didn't know if they had certain food or not (was told they had pizza and when I went to pay while waiting, I was told by other people they didn't have pizza). This place has gone downhill since I was here last and will likely not be back.
Great value for seeing current movies!
love this drive in clean nostalgic double features on 3 screens
First time going and was very nice concession stand a lil to pricey
Went to a Rocky Horror shadow cast and though it was cold and rainy there was plenty of space to lay out a blanket and the screens were huge.
This place is amazing. Great movie selection and you can't beat getting a double feature for a single price ticket. The prepared snack bar food (chicken fingers, fries, etc.) was not good. I'd steer clear next time I went back. But, the typical movie staples (popcorn, candy, nachos, etc.) were fine. Service was great.
Always a great time. Friendly staff.
Very nice out door theaters. Probably went 5 times in the summer. Great experience
had a great time watching the movies
What a fun family evening! I suggest getting there a little early, as the "good" spots fill up fast. Bring lawn chairs, snacks, bug spray, and a battery powered radio.
Snack bar was way over priced food was horrible however parking , movie and ticket prices where all good
So glad to see places like this are still around. Easy to get to- plenty of spaces to park and watch good, current movie releases. Picture quality is decent- and the place is clean. Snack shop is what you'd expect, and also how I remember them as a kid. Admission is reasonable- and Wednesday is a full car for $22. Cool night out.
Love the flea market there decent size lots of selection
Drive ins are the best! Not just a move but and experience. 2 movies for a good price.
Blast from the past. For screens, listen on your fm car stereo (or bring a noom box). We try to bring family at least once a year. Every year, seems we bring along someone who has never been. If only people would not hit the screen with headlights during movie.
For my first drive in movie experience, I feel that it was fantastic. I enjoyed the experience, ticket price wasn't exorbitant, concessions were reasonable and good quality. It was a lot more relaxed than having to go to a movie theater and pay an arm and a leg just to enjoy a movie. I definitely recommend it!
Hav'nt been to a drive-in since I was a much younger man, I had a great time, you can believe I will be going again!
Always fun to poke around and shop
It was as much fun as I remember as a kid! My grandchildren really enjoyed it! Picture and sound was wonderful! I can't wait to go back and will even take a night off of work!
Very fun, like a blast from the past. Perfect for kids and adults.
Been going since I was a kid. Best one I’ve been to and will continue to support.
I like it awesome experience my first but no my last good to go in groups
The best place for Sunday
Good times at a great location. Concession stand is a little overpriced as expected
Our movie was rained out. But, we received rain checks for next time! Great business!
I like the nostalgia of the drive-in and being able to meet up with other families. I think they need to work on the concessions line to make it more efficient. They should also play an adult movie after a kids movie. Back to back kids movies ends up making this a waste of money for us.
Awesome flea market, and the movies are fun also.

Lots to see but not alot of places to catch your breathe
