I usually don't go to this movie theater unless it is for MMC and I was reminded why yesterday when i went to see A Star Is Born. First of all in the past one would always hear the sounds and vibrations from movies playing in the adjacent theaters. But if that wasn't enough, yesterday throughout the entire showing of A Star Is Born, there was a terribly loud and annoying constant clicking sound coming from the projection room. As you may know, and the Movie Theater staff definitely does, the movie is of sensitive nature and there were a lot of scenes that were with soft sounds or even silent moments. And then you heard that horrible, mechanical, constant clicking noise the entire duration of the movie. This spoiled the experience for me and the movie theater should know they are falling short on the most fundamental aspect of running a movie theater.

We showed up at 7 o'clock for a 730 movie but there was no picture on the screen, just ear shattering audio...When I told them that there is no picture, just audio and that they should just turn it off till the movie starts, they told me that this is not the policy and that they were supposed to blast advertisements while we wait ....What idiots and what an unpleasant waiting experience.... I'll never go back there again.

They are a small cinema, they have three features at any one time. Generally a mix between large blockbusters and smaller films.

Projection seemed faulty due to a line/bump in the screen. It was annoying throughout the previews and feature. Seats are quite comfortable and the theater small. The sound system is front-only (so you lose out on modern acoustic flourish you expect in everything from action flicks to romcoms. Despite this the convenience can't be beat if they are showing what you are looking for. Ample parking in the town train lots for any evening or weekend show.

Great location for an art/indie film theater. A lot of oscar worthy movies shown. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Theater is older but clean and well managed. Theater also does great events like the French Film Festival, Greenwich Film Festival and the classic film series. Great place to host a birthday party - so easy and you can watch any DVD/blu ray you want. Popcorn is always fresh and there is real butter! Prices are just right! Not handicap accessible but they are always willing to move a movie to the downstairs theater which is great! Love this theater and the experience it provides

It has great staff and there's nothing wrong with the theater, although they lack the movies that most theaters have, which prevents it from having as many customers that I think they could have. For the future of the theater it needs to adapt to the need of people who enjoy more modern films...
