The theaters are clean and comfortable. I love the reclining seats. The theater layout is very roomy. The BTX theater is great for big block buster movies. My only complaint would be the price of the concessions. But that is standard for all movie theaters. Bow Tie is my first choice when I want to see a movie.

Bad place highly do not recommend even going there. A waste of time for nothing. Bowtie Cinemas it self is not bad I highly recommend the theater in Norwalk (Bowtie Cinemas Regent 8). It has beautiful seating and so comfortable.

We arrived on time got my monster tub of popcorn, nachos and soda. Sat down to view the movie for about an hour and the electricity went off and they evacuated everyone. It was nice until then. What a different experience!

Horrible experience. Went up to the concession stand to buy snacks for the movie one of the staff called my sister and I to the front, when we reached the front he sent us off to someone else. The other staff member was confused to why he didn't want wait on us. I felt humiliated. Never coming back worst experience ever all because we had kids with us.

Now that this theater has reserved seating I go to the movies more often. The theaters are usually clean and there's no wait with the reserved seats. The concessions stand also upped their game apparently. I don't usually get food but my friends actually enjoy their food rather than just tolerating it. Bowtie also does a good job maintaining their presentation hardware. I have only seen one screen issue since they completed the renovations and it seems like they put in effort to ensure the architecture doesn't rattle during crescendos in the movies. Finally, the entrance is convenient from the red garage. Management added an entry door in the second level so that you can enter there easily.

Great popcorn, attentive staff. Only reason that I don't rate it higher is because they're way behind other theaters in the area. Prospect is a WAY better theater with a great mission, and the bow tie cinemas in sono has those plush leather seats and a full bar. If you have the chance to go to other theaters, do it- but this is a decent option.

Next time a self service machine is out if order might help if you put the sign on the machine instead if half hidden underneath. Tape is a thing. Then don't go blame the person for not seeing a hidden sign on a machine that was turned on and showing no problems and try to twice for a ticket. Edit Will also add this about movie quality. The movie was set bigger than the actual screen size, meaning part of it was on the curtains and the sound cut out making buzzing noises throughout the entire movie. Even if I didn't the problem with employee I would rate 1 star due to these 2 problems.

With all of the great cinema choices, this would be my last. Not stadium seating and chairs that ,while in good shape, seem like they are decades old compared to the reclining lounge chairs other places have. Prices are not cheap, so unless it's the only place showing the picture you want to see, or the location is convenient, choose differently.

Nice little theater. Does not have some of the nice add on like the other bow tie. Does not have reserved seats, reclining seats, fancy popcorn, or alcohol. I went to an late morning show. There was not many people in the whole building. I was only one in my theater for the first day of the movie. I think they even forgot I was there. Had to ask them to start the movie. They just started the movie no trailers. So that was not good. But all and all I would go back if I need a certain showtime.

Unfortunately I had quite a bad experience at this theatre the last time I went. We went to see Toy Story 4 and there were quite a few moments in the movie where the audio cut out so I missed a good portion of what was happening in the movie. We left early but they refused to give us a refund only offered us tickets for a future movie. On top of that, some guy who worked at the theatre made a comment to us about how we brought in food from outside even though 1. No one said anything when we entered the theatre and 2. We didn’t open the food boxes, we were just holding them from our dinner right before the movie. Regardless the guy made a few comments and then proceeded to follow us downstairs and make a few more comments about it. I felt this was very rude, especially after we wasted over an hour seeing a movie that we will now have to sit through again because of the poor audio quality. There was also a lot of construction happening around the theatre. It seemed like half the theatre had AC and half the theatre had no AC. I recommend going to a different theatre until they have made some drastic improvements.

Young kids snuck into the R rated movie and got kicked out. There was someone there asking for a donation for something. People were sitting in the wrong seats and tried to have an "altercation". Sounds like I picked the wrong day to go. But on a good day, it's a decent theatre.

This theater is good. It's slightly over priced for the quality of theater it is, but what isn't overpriced at the movies? It is nicely convenient for the Wilton crowd, they have all the concessions you could ask for, and as it's a small theater the staff is easy to talk to and ask for help, if needed (like if they accidentally show a 3-D film in a 2-D screening). I'd recommend this theater, still, and will still go. The seats are a bit squeaky and the sound quality isn't top notch, but it still works.

I love the new makover and upgraded seating! Just went and saw the new Avengers movie. As you can imagine, the place was packed but reserved seating and the new upgrades made it like we were the only ones in the theater. They even upgraded the food options. I got popcorn, soda, candy and a kids pack for 3 adults and 1 kid for $40.50. Not bad for the movies.

Theater's are clean and have assinged seating. The seats recline and are very comfortable. The only iasue we have had is the Kiosk to pickup tickets purchased online has not worked on our last 2 visits.

We were pleasantly surprised by this theater. Our usual go-to is AMC, mainly with their upgraded thaters. So we had already high expectations. I ordered my tickets online and also ordered their Criterion Gold Card (20$ annual fee). I somehow ended up on a generic tickets website instead of the Bow Tie site. So I could not get the points for my purchase. When I arrived in person, the guest services staff was very helpful and applied my points the following day! When we went to got our food and drinks, we were surprised by the efficiency of the staff snd how quick the lines were handled, especially on a busy night with Aquaman weekend. This was also surprising to see that our popcorn bucket came with a top! Great attention to detail. The theater itself also has dolby surround sound which made it very crisp compared to other theaters I have been to, similar to IMAX sound almost! The other feature that shocked me were the table tops in each seat which made it easier for food and drinks. Bow Tie Cinemas of Annapolis nailed it and has given me higher expectations for theaters now.

At 1030 there was no popcorn to be found and the concession stand had people working, but had no more popcorn!? We were upset, and the movie started 5 mins early too when we went in on time..there was no previews!! It just seemed like the staff was trying to get out asap, and didn't care about their customers at all. We were all very disappointed in this theater and will not recommend to anyone.

Thanks Dannel Malloy..... This theater is like your Governorship...extremely sh***y, it must be led by someone like him which leads to poor moral with staff, just like most other state workers during the Malloy years, just rude, and don't want to work. Disappointing snack bar, with its lack of options and soggy popcorn to the $5 bottle of warm water. Theatre was small, dirty, and out dated. Screen size was so small I should have just watched Netflix on my laptop, and as for sound system, my earbuds in the same lap top offer better top end sound and bass. If the Landmark 9 was Golfing, it would be in the lead with the lowest score. Maybe I'm just spoiled and have been to literally any other movie theater, but this seemed to be an extra special kinda sh***y, that I am just not used to this level of awefulness, yes, awefulness, I made up a new word to describe this.. Even if you have no TV at home, a car in the driveway, shoes on your feet or money in your pockets, Please...please choose any other theater. Again, a special thank you to Gov. Malloy, for I don't blame the theater, the Stamford Mall, or Stamford City...but I blame it on the late Mayor of Stamford, for just like the way he ran this once great city full steam into the ground, he's now giving our state the same treatment this once good theater has gotten.

Needs new seats. Most modern theaters' seats are more comfortable and stadium style. The carpeting hasn't been replaced in years, The sound system is passable but not as good as at the AMC Port Chester. This theater and the Majestic both need an upgrade....They spent $$ improving the stair cases to access the theater but my friends won't go with me to see a movie here because it's got that "old fashioned" feel to it.
