Love this place. The staff is so kind and sweet. the facility itself is pretty nice, i don’t like the floors tho. cool chairs and nice cola machine. me and my grandson nathan always enjoy coming to watch movies at Apple Cinema Simsbury 8!

Walked in on a dirty theater. Seats were not clean, food particles in various chairs that I switched to. Popcorn was stale and it made me not want to return. Staff were decently accommodating and friendly.

Since Apple Cinema has taken over there have been a number of postivie changes include easy self service kiosk, self service popcorn, improved sound in the theaters and new comfy, "luxury" seating (coming soon) I still think movies are over priced. Best deal is the bottomless tub of popcorn for $9. You can ask for complementary bags so you can divide it amoung your whole family. Took 8 kids here for a birthday party and they all enjoyed it.

The theater almost never fills out (with the only exception being Thor and Jumanji). So you can waltz in 5 minutes before the movie begins and still get a comfortable prime center-row seat. And if you're getting the popcorn, definitely pay the $1 extra to get the ranch seasoning. It's a no-brainer.

The wife and I came to see the clown movie with the little one. He really liked it. the popcorn was great. it was self serve. the tickets were easy to get thanks to the new self serve kiosks. the seating was comfortable and clean. I really do like this place . I got the number 1 combo which included a large drink and large tub of popcorn. My wife said it was too much popcorn but i still refilled it on the way out (what, its tasty!). They also had the new internet coke machine that has lots of drinks and i tried a few of them but I think I'll just stick to regular coke. Kinda irked about the ticket prices here at the simsbury location went tonight to see shazam and the ticket price was $11.25 a person for a adult ticket but at the barkhamsted theater it's $9 a ticket, it's owned by the same company should be the same price. I think this will be my last time visiting this location and will stick to the barkhamsted location.

Went to see Greenbook. Only 2 in theater. 9 minutes after show time the movie still hadn't started. Went to the lobby to ask why. Employee tried to start movie for us. Went back to seats. Another 5 minutes, no movie. Back to lobby, employee was on the phone trouble shooting. Back to seats, no movie After waiting a total of 30 minutes for a movie we gave up. Spent 10 minutes looking for employee. Employee claims he started movie in 3 minutes and wouldn't refund. No wonder the place is empty.

The staff were nice on the day I went, but the theater was falling apart. When I went to use the bathroom, a wall tile fell down and shattered. The seats weren't the most comfy and had a wired texture. I rate it a 6/10 because it was falling apart and wasn't the most comfy.

Good sound, good seating. The people who work here are very friendly, and all the snacks are tasty. There are lots of ways to get discounted tickets between matinees and the deals they have on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This theater is a bit farther away from my home the other theater options, but I dont mind going the extra distance because this is a nice theater with mostly cozy theater rooms. The seats are comfortable and they are usually elevated enough that you dont have to look at the head of the person in front of you.

They answer their phones and start talking during the movie, or use their phone during the WHOLE movie - texting or surfing the web - which is a big disctraction for people who paid good money trying to enjoy the movie. This is not as bad in other theaters. In my experience, Simsbury Hoyts is the worse.

My husband and I rented a theater for our daughter's fourth birthday party. I cannot say enough about the team at Hoyts Simsbury Commons. They made the day seamless. Everyone had a great time and it was so easy to book and execute this party. I highly recommend this theater but especially the people. They make all the difference in the world.

We decided to wait until after the movie to go see if they would believe us. I did not have high hopes. But low and behold, it was waiting for us, carefully put aside. In this day and age of lack of honesty among so many people I was amazed!!! Little things like this speak volumes about a person and a place. Also, very clean, polite and well organized theater. Most highly recommended!!

I saw Dr. Strange with my friends. I had an enjoyable time, the quality of the movie screen was great, the seats were confortable but the one downside of going here is the prices are way too high. Yes I know that movie thearters are all over priced but selling a box of candy for $4.25 is over priced. I would go to this thearter more often if the food was cheaper. I came with $30 and left with $4 only buying one ticket, one box of candy, medium popcorn, and a large ICEE. Besides being very overpriced I would recomend this thearter to anyone who is not afraid of losing money.
