Wasn't expecting a quality theater in a small mountain town. Was totally and pleasantly surprised. Clean, staff is friendly, digital projection is okay but the sound quality was awesome. Wasn't missing anything by seeing a movie here.

Great place to catch a movie and a beer after hitting the slopes or having a lazy day with friends and family. There's some good crested butte beer on tap and other goodies for some movie time chilling.

Very nice locally owned theater. They have excellent popcorn, better than you can get at AMC or Cinemark!! There are three theaters and they get 1 - 2 new movies a week depending on the rotation. We saw Hacksaw Ridge and The Arrival. The theaters have TI DLP projectors and Dolby sound so the image quality and sound is very good. The seats are a little worn but they are working on a project to get them replaced so visit the theaters to help with their improvements! You can also get adult beverages at this theater!

I love movie theaters and this is a nice cozy one that serves beer/cocktails which is a bonus. But my favorite part of going to the cinema is having popcorn and they didn't have any when I went to buy some which was a huge disappointment. Let me explain, movie started at 7pm so figured I would get popcorn half way thru so at 8pm I went to get some but they were cleaning up and had none left. I would have been more than happy to come out and buy some earlier if I had known they would shut down concessions early. PLEASE put a sign up stating the time you will close concessions so people can plan accordingly and hopefully next time I visit I can give you 5 stars.

Terrible service from an employee of yours: i went to ask to return a ticket I accidentally purchased online and a woman blatantly disregarded me and told me I couldn’t in a very rude way, I then asked for a water refill and the woman told me “ go fill it up in the damn bathroom, I’m not walking back again to get it (the whole 5 steps to the refiller)” and I almost laughed then she said “think I’m kidding? I’m not, next customer” totally disrespectful. I usually have decent experiences at this place but I thought I’d share this woman’s utter ignorance and incompetence to provide service to a respectful customer.

There are only two movies showing at any one time, but overall, it's a unique, small Colorado-town environment. The people working there were a little too laid back and confused about their own movie showing times, but were nice. My wife and I even ordered popcorn and the lady working the front desk brought the popcorn to our seats in the theatre - I've never had that kind of service in a movie theatre before.

This is our FAVORITE theater! We always look forward to frequenting the Majestic whenever we come to CB because it not only offers great sound and picture, but fantastic small theater ambiance as well as cocktails and fancy chocolates. The staff has never been anything but welcoming and helpful.
