You will see all the opinions of people who consume the services of Landmark\'s Chez Artiste Theatre (Movie Theater) around Colorado area.
At the present the firm has a rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 331 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is nearly the top, and it is based on a large number of scores, so we may say that the valuation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Movie Theater corresponds to the category of Movie theater.
Good theater, saw a great movie, got an awesome bucket of popcorn with tons of real butter on it. Can't go wrong there! :)
Manager welcoming a nice gesture, could do without the review....Still a favorite movie hangout.
Great theater with good films- plays some hard to find titles in the Denver area . If you want something more unique than a regular movie then definitely check out here.
Love this theater. They always have interesting movies and good popcorn.
I really enjoyed this theater. Seats comfortable, area clean, movie reasonably priced!
Comfy chairs, good movie selections...they had a little trouble starting the film up.
Wonderful selection of movies and events.
A great place for a movie. Easy parking, and not terribly crowded. Seating was easy to get to and very comfortable. The chairs looked and felt brand new. Given a choice we will always go back there
Great place to see interesting movies that aren't made for mass market consumption.
Very personalized experience. Great place to see a movie.
I was surprised and delighted to have someone introduce the movie in person.
Great small theater, reasonably priced snacks and accepts movie pass! Will be back next month for some specials
Very friendly movie theater. The owner gave us an intro prior to the start of the film.
A really great spot to check out independent films. The staff introduces each showing welcoming you to the theater and presenting key details about the movie. Great films and delicious snacks.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Love the movies here
In an era of awful suburban chain Cinema, landmark is refreshing. No big multiplex but you can still get bad popcorn. This theatre caters exclusively to art house cinematic films. Often times this is the only theatre in town to see a film. Spanning documentaries, drama, and action, if it's Independent Cinema, you can see it here. The theatres have all been refreshed, replacing old stiff seats without padding for more modern seats.
I always enjoy the films at Chez Artiste!
This is one of the best places in town to see better quality films. The staff is great. It is a smaller venue. So much like movie going was like when I was a kid. Oh and the pop corn is fantastic!
Good clean theater, great seats,
My favorite theater in Denver - great soon to be classic films: Notorious RBG, Vincent, Beatles
Good for a chain that is trying to be independent. Friendly staff. Parking goes fast.
Great theater and friendly staff.
I don't go here often due to the distance it is from where I live. Out of all the landmark theaters in Denver their programming is geared more towards the arts. They show taped ballets and theatre from England. They show documentaries on artists too. I saw Kusama Infinity there. On that particular day it was a bit cold and I arrived a lot earlier than what I had wanted to. They aren't supposed to open until a half hour before the first showing but one of workers opened the door early so me and others weren't stuck waiting outside. It was nice of them to do that.
Meticulously kept local gem. Hope this is around for a while.
Chez Artiste presents the Best of Indie Film.
Nice people but not good seating for anyone with neck and vision issues. Landmark theatres just don't work for me.
So nice to have a theatre, staff, and audience for film buffs!
Cute little theater that puts on some great shows that most places won't carry.
Good place .new seats g
Wonderful movie theater
best indie movies
Great customer service! In all my years as a movie goer, I've never been so impressed with the service! I will definitely come again!
Good place to see Indy films. I like the in-person intro before the projector rolls. Also, very good popcorn and hot coffee.
Loved it! Great little unique place. Saw At Eternity's Gate
I love this theatre. They have interesting films, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the concessions stand has good variety.
Seats are comfortable. Theaters are tiny which could be a good thing for some people. The screen was good but also small.
Nice, little quaint little place. Very friendly people!
I've been a fan of the Chez Artiste - part of The Landmark Theater chain - since the late 1970's. Love this theater because Landmark Theaters evidently chose the Chez to screen movies that appeal to an older crowd, of which I am one :) The Chez is a small 3 screen theater that serves excellent popcorn. Love to toodle the short distance down Colorado Blvd and treat myself to terrific movies here.
Attended a film regarding the Beatles Abbey Road album. The staff is pleasant and the restroom was pretty clean. The theatre is very tired looking but they offer a wonderful variety of films and documentaries.
Quaint theater showing films and documentaries you can't see at the "big places". The snacks are great, seats are comfy, overall it's a wonderful experience!
It's my favorite movie theater, have a wonderful selection of movies you want to see and can't at the multiplexes.
We love foreign and independent film. This theater offers that, a clean venue, fresh snacks, and friendly, helpful employees.
I appreciate the unique movies they bring to show. Sundance contenders. Not main stream, but wonderful stories.
Such great films but sadly, tiny screening rooms. The staff does a great job with creating relevant displays on the films.
One of the best places in town for an indie film. Great tea!
This is the only theatre I've ever been to in which the management makes announcements before the trailers. Staff is always curteous and friendly. The Indie
Great small venue, good prices and friendly staff.
My favorite cinema in Denver! Quaint and intimate theaters, fabulous indie films, and delicious popcorn with real butter! Also love the staff. They're always very friendly and welcoming.
Well kept theater with nice and comfy seats. Friendly staff. Great selection of concessions.
One of my favorite places for regular, indie and foreign movies. Very nice, & the staff really is quite knowledgeable about the films they play. They have a good selection of drinks & snacks. Definitely NOT humdrum.
I love this place. The staff is extremely friendly, and they always get really great films. They've re-done the interiors, so it's also very comfortable.
Comfortable seats, great art films.
Theatre like ones I grew up with. Cozy, comfortable, friendly staff, good prices.
A great movie theatre.
We had theater to ourselves on a Friday night. $11.75 for admission, $8 for large popcorn in paper bag. Small and quaint.
Very cool theater!
Wonderful films that are worth watching. (Saw Chasing Trane today.) Cozy venue, run by friendly people. Large modern clean restrooms. Convenient free parking.
Of the three or four Landmark Theatres in town, this is the one that probably does the most for film fans. They have interesting handouts and flyers about current and upcoming films, reprints of movie reviews, and the most artistic and appealing displays in the lobby. The have the best movie postcards, too! Hey, I can't help it - I like free stuff. The only complaint I have is that my own nickname for this place - "The Cheese Artist" - has never caught on with Denver's film-going community.
Just a little piece of America left!!!
Love the feel of this theatre.
This is a fabulous little arthouse cinema that is committed to playing all of the films you can't see in the mainstream theaters, and this theater's taste in film is great. My boyfriend and I have a ritual: Dal (the best in Denver) at the Indian restaurant in the same plaza, then a film at Chez Artiste.
One of my favorite spots to see a film.
My husband I love this place! It's our date night go to. It's nostalgia is awesome. We love the feel there, the quirky movies, and the concession stand it the best. We love their gluten free options, coffee drinks, and they have the best popcorn hands down. So glad this place is still around! I remember going there when I was a kid. Building more and more great memories there. It's different than the mega-theaters, give it a try!
Comfortable seating. Great sound and picture. Helpful staff.
The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable! Seats are great and not cramped. Great viewing and awesome sound. I will definitely be coming back
A really great place.
Great movies not available most theaters!
They care about your cinamatic experience. Get yourself to a show that relies on a good story, less on the special effects.
Perfect for anyone that is tired of the same four plots coming out of Hollywood over and over
Ppl are weird here. But I go here too, so I'm weird too.
When you do not fancy movie theatre with special effects and you wnjoy beautiful lovies.
Good place to watch a movie
Lovely theater with great indie films!
I love this theater! Just saw Darkest Hour and before they started the film, one of the staff made a very informative announcement to the audience with a brief synopsis about the movie. Much appreciated
Outstanding staff and service. Very clean theater.
Very nice theater
My favorite place for a movie.
Always great films and awesome popcorn. One of my favorite theaters in Denver!
A wonderful venue for films. Good popcorn, if not too salty as was on the last visit.
Nicely run operation.
Fun talk before movie. They really care about the movies they are screening, nice informative intro talk for a couple minutes without being over long or overbearing
Definitely going back! Comfy seats in a more traditional setting that gave it the small town, main street feel. Very clean; refreshment prices don't bust a budget, and the staff is so friendly and warm. 'Robin' went up front and gave some historical references for the movie Darkest Hour' and gave a short bio on some of the cast. I hope she does this for every movie!
Nice art theatre. Wonderful selection of snacks.
Good theatre
Love seeing Hitchcock movies here!
Great theater, wonderful seats, never over crowded!!
Always a nice experience here, smaller friendly venue away from the bigger chain theatres. Clean, comfortable seating and efficient staff.
small theaters, comfortable seats. This theater tends to have unusual alternative films!
This is the third great movie I've seen here in the last 2 weeks. Chez Artiste brings in excellent non-Hollywood movies of exceptional caliber. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the popcorn is freshly popped with real butter.
Good neighborhood Art House. Typical good Landmark Theater
Old theater without updates, but shows unique films not available elsewhere
My favorite art theater. Great movies and the best popcorn! Everyone working there is awesome, too.
Clean; Enthusiastic staff; small art house.
It's always nice to see movies here. It has a vintage theater ambience and presents a selection of high quality movies that aren't available in other mainstream theater chains.
This theater is so cool, love the small vibe and friendly service
Amazing vibe. So happy to find this gem. Staff are everything you want to experience.
Low key space, staff was nice, popcorn was dope.
Just went to this theater for the first time to watch Bernie (Jack Black film). The film was great. It is an old theater and pretty small, but one thing I liked was that the host came out before the movie started and introduced it to the audience. Not your typical Regal or Mann experience.
Movie theater. People were in line waiting to see next movie. Saw He Won't Get Too Far On Foot. Drama with humor. There are a lot of messages that can be taken away from this movie. Good movie.
Nice venue, very good customer service. Great film choices.
An art house in a strip mall! Three small theaters recently renovated with comfortable seats. Fresh made popcorn and pleasant personnel.
Nice little theater. We try to support landmark theaters when we can.
A quite out of the way cinema that offers Foreign Films that you do not see at other Denver area theaters. Just wish the seats were pointed at the screen, as you have to bend or sit awkward in your chair.
Great independent theater. Always shows great films, well designed seating areas, and they serve gelato!
It's a great place to see a movie. It's not an IMAX place, but it also doesn't have the Dave and Busters vibe. It has the kind of indie feel you'd expect from a theater that plays the films Chez Artiste does. And if you want to see one of those movies you'll probably appreciate that, too.
It's the wholee package, the staff, the theartre and the POPCORN...
Saw Darkest Hour there recently. It's like an old movie theater, the kind that charged 12 cents. Popcorn is good - real butter! Pitchers of water, ice buckets. An array of classic theater candy and drinks. Senior prices are fair. Inside the theater rooms the chairs have been upgraded. Very comfortable. Before the previews begin a theater spokesperson comes out and talks about what's coming up, turn your cellphones off, etc. A very popular movie house.
Awesome small theater showing indie films. Saw Spotlight here and it was great! Great sound and image. Seats were plush leather, almost like sitting in a couch. Tickets and concessions were priced a bit steep, but well worth it.
An unusual location for a movie house, but great service.
Great movie theater. Great people.
This theater is reminiscent of how theaters used to be. A small quaint theater. Think private viewing room. Lovely.
This movie theater is vey unassuming from the outside, but once you are in, it is amazing. We came here to watch Three Identical Strangers - it was a great experience. The concessions were affordable and the crowd was quiet and respectful. They have accessible seating towards the middle of the theater.
Good setting, comfortable chairs and screen is nice. Clean theatre and most importantly screens the unique films and documentaries which are difficult to find otherwise. Watched the One Child Nation here, so thankful they screened it.
The biggest problem with this otherwise great theater are the patrons. Many of them talk incessantly during the movies, just like they are in their own living rooms. Even when they are told to be quiet, they don't. It is very distracting, not to mention very rude. I should mention that these are older people and they should know better, but it does no seem to matter. They just continue to talk.
Relaxed atmosphere, a lot more old style than an AMC. great place to catch a movie
Enjoy the movie offerings (independent/ arthouse) at this cimema, but facility could use upgrade of sound system and seating.
This theater had been showing great movies for years. Try it!
Nice place to see documentaries or indie flicks
Great staff
Cozy, great films, great comfortable seats, film loving staff.
I went and saw loving vincent here and this theatre is adorable i loved it here
Good pictures and a good atmosphere. Recommend it to anyone else who appreciates excellent movies.
Small independent film theater in a strip mall along Colorado Boulevard. It's been kept up nice and with comfortable seats, though some are angled weird. They have great popcorn and use real butter. It's part of the Landmark franchise and their wonderful friendly staff.
Refreshing . Soho-feeling.
Staff and popcorn are super. Great movies in cozy theaters.
Good place for an off the wall movie. More indi movies her than mainstream.
prize is more, ver y confy ,nice atmosphere, it can trick you from outside, it looks super small, but inside is very wide and clean, leather seats.
Great place to see movies of yesterday and today.
I love this theatre because I’m usually the only person here. Love seeing all the indie flicks and having the theatre to myself.
Always excellent..
Love this place for the smaller titles available and shown.
Really great small theater. The original design was very thoughtful toward moviegoers and people with disabilities. The staff has always been very friendly as well. This is a Landmark theater and plays mostly independent films and not blockbusters.
Nice theater, good sound and picture quality. Like most landmarks, it struggles with soundproofing. You can often hear the adjacent theaters.
How to really love to give this kid or a higher rating but my problem is the old feel of the theater. Additionally for some reason in the theater that I went to they have the seats at an angle making it a little bit uncomfortable. That being said I do love how the Landmark Theatres at a whole offer independent movies.
Good for seeing movies that aren't trying to be blockbusters and that you'll still remember a year from now.
The best popcorn ever
Good selection of art house films. However, their seating is poorly laid out, and audiences tend to be very rude.
Love the choices of movies and the respectfulness of the he patrons.
Great movies, great staff and great popcorn!
Didn't spot it right away, this is a small, quirky Landmark Theater, but it is nice. The theater had new cushy seats and carpets, and it was clean.
Chez Artiste is run by a personable woman who loves movies and runs an excellent operation with extra care towards snacks.
Not many around like this anymore. Friendly staff, clean theaters, and decent sound.
It's a nice little theator with niche movies not shown in the big ones. Great popcorn, sometimes free posters, and gives off an artistic vibe.
I have missed this place.
I absolutely love this theater! It's quaint and clean with warm, welcoming, helpful employees and comfy seats
We're regulars -- great movies, great staff, good prices, comfy seats.
Revised into an arts film showplace, clean, very nice seating
What a great small theater. Perfect for the independent films. Seating has been updated with more comfortable seats as well.
Great artsy theater for movie lovers!!!
Fun little indi theater where you can watch films that are not mainstream. Staff here is always friendly. The new seats make this theater much more comfortable than before.
Showing excellent movies aimed to cinefiels rather than the lowest common denometer.
Love this place. I never knew about this place when I lived on this side of town. I love the little details they provide - the pre-film greeting and lots of information about the films. A wonderful alternative to the megaplexs.
Super friendly staff and great atmosphere!
Neat little theatre, best popcorn
A wonderful small theater that shows films you cant find anywhere else. Also, love their butter for the popcorn and cool selection of gelato
I've been going to shows at the Chez Artiste for at least 15 years. The staff, theatre, and movies that are shown there are wonderful! Also, another reason is, I love seeing your employee, Mikie. He is a wonderful person! A "class act"! I think of him as a friend after so many years.
Small cramped theaters. Obvious that they divided a big one into multiple small ones. Badly in need a of a re-do. On the other hand, always showing great indie films. Nicest movie staff you will find anywhere. And good treats.
