REVIEWS OF Icon Cinema IN Colorado

Annette Branch

My favorite theater due to comfy leather recliner seats, lower prices and self service popcorn, drinks, and nachos. Doesn't have some of the fancy touches of some other theatres, but also doesn't have the ridiculous cost. Get your tickets directly on the Icon website rather than from Fandango as the service fee is much lower.

Bill Johnson

Ticket prices are really cheap, but they get you hard at the concessions. 10/10 will continue to sneak my own snacks in

Amber Wright

Very cool. Comfy reclining seats, self serve popcorn and you pick your seats before you go in.

Kenneth Nielson

Comfortable recliners, everything new. Great movie.

Brandon Punihaole

My first time here I asked the manager if I could get a cup of water for my disability he said they don't offer cups of water but to buy water or a cup. I then asked for a higher manager and he said I could bring a water bottle into the theater witch I didn't note since this is my first time here. I then got really frustrated the manager gave me the bottle for free witch I'm thankful for. I then had back to my movie and hear other employees talking about me talking with a manager and how I was trying to get stiff for free. No, I don't have the ability to get up during the movie to go to a water fountain. I'm really mad I paid so much money for my family to be treated this way.

Courier Warrior

Both times that I've come here. The parking was plentiful, the ticket and concessions sales were efficient. The theater was quality and the experience leaves me questioning why a complex of this nature wasnt constructed further south of town.

Kevin Wilson

Nice place. Will be better when surrounding construction is done.

Randall Coan

Love the fact that if someone is loud they will be asked to leave. Great reclining seating.

Crystal Compton

Went and watched the new Aladdin. The theater was so comfortable and amazing. You can also buy all you can eat popcorn and drinks. Super awesome theater.

Jessica Whittmyer

Worst cinema experience ever. I was unable to purchase tickets on Moviefone because it was greyed out, so I dialed Icon Cinema to confirm the movie was indeed playing there. After listening to multiple options I pushed 7 to talk with a manager. That brings you to a recording that gives a different number to call. Zero option to get a live person for customer service. So I took my chances and drove to the theater. A series of signs directed me to the wrong parking lot (north facing lot - the cinema entrance faces south). A series of three arrows in that lot pointed west to Cinema. So I drove to the furthest west side of the parking lot (wrong lot) and followed the signs to the cinema. In the blistering cold wind, on the wrong side of the building, we couldn't find the entrance. After walking nearly around the entire cinema, including riding the elevator up and down, we found that the signs pointing to the west directly contradicted other signs pointing to the east. 10-15 minutes of wandering to find the entrance. Purchased snacks and a glass of wine. Wine came in a plastic single serving bottle with its own self-contained cup. I was given the option to use the self-contained dosing cup or have another cheap plastic glass. I chose the other cup. Once at our seats I then had to pour wine into a cup. At my wine purchase I was told that there are two drinks limit per ID. I’ve never ordered more than one drink for a 90-120 minute movie, so that didn’t bother me. I have never been verbally warned about this at any other theater in my life, though. Popcorn and soda are self serve. You are given an empty bag and empty cup and told to fill them yourself. When we walked from concessions into the movie corridor, there was no one standing there to take our tickets or point the way. I looked down at my ticket. After all the hassle of trying to find the front door, this was just the icing on the cake. Messages before the movie are just as heavy handed as the restrictions at the wine counter. You are loudly told with graphics from amateur hour that if you disturb other patrons you will be KICKED OUT NO REFUNDS. I’ve never been warned of bad behavior at a theater before that I will be REMOVED with NO REFUNDS. The whole warning and restrictions were becoming a very negative drag on what was supposed to be a lighthearted evening out. Perhaps because there was a restriction imposed on drinks that was so ‘in your face’ in it’s style, I subconsciously decided to order a second drink for the first time ever at a cinema. I made my way to concessions. As I ordered, I was told again, “just so you know, I won’t be able to serve you if you order again.” I kind of laughed and asked the kid if they have a big problem with the north end of Colorado Springs being such heavy drinkers that they get push back a lot? He said no that he just wanted to remind me. I told him thank you but I got it the first time. (I don’t need to be made out to look like a heavy drinker and warned that I won’t be served again if I try to order. I get it! Not only do I NOT want or need a third drink, I’m not going to try to order a third drink!) Back at my seat I had to pour the wine in my glass again from the single serve bottle. Now I had two empty plastic bottles and the unused dosing cups to contend with at my seat - four loud pieces of empty plastic. I put them in my purse so as not to trash the place. Awkward!! I won’t be returning here. Didn’t feel valued as a customer—the complete opposite. I’ll stick with Kimball’s Peak Three, where they don’t hide the front door, they point the way to the theater, and actually pour your beverages for you. Where they aren’t shouting in your face about drink restrictions or the potential of being KICKED OUT NO REFUNDS.

anthony arndt

This theatre was a different experience than normal. To have your own control of your food and beverage was awesome, and at a great price!

Dan Feigenbaum

Do it yourself popcorn and drinks - you buy the containers and the popcorn. & drinks are in the lobby. Prices are decent. Reserved seating, you pick your seat. The seats recline, but no snoring if you doze off.

Crystal S

Checked it out for the first time, still very new and they are still building...this place is gonna be huge, but it was a wonderful experience. Super nice employees, very welcoming, great appearances and decorating. Prices are really not bad at all and they have self serve everything so you really get your money's worth and can fix your popcorn exactly the way you like! Frickin awesome! Definitely my new hang out to watch movies, they did a great job.

Eric Demeter

Nice seats and you get a lot of ice cream for $4.50 but I encountered a super uncomfortable situation. I wanted to share my ice cream with a friend and I went back to the lobby to try to get an empty container. No one was around and I saw the small stack on the counter so I took one. The manager came over (I assume it was him) and I showed him that I just grabbed the tiny clear container and he told me “I’m sorry sir, this is part of our inventory. Why do you need this?” I said I wanted to share my ice cream with my friend. He took the lid from me and I asked, “Are you really just going to put that back?” since I had touched the inside of the cup. He gave me a confused look and I left totally bewildered. What a weird situation. Please get some customer service training.

Great theater with reclining seats! We reserved tickets online and it was much cheaper compared to other theaters ($8.25 for a weekend matinee). The front doors of the theater is towards the back of the building and there’s not much parking close to the doors so I suggest seeing an early showing. There weren’t kiosks for printing online tickets so we went to the concessions stand. The theater was clean and nice and the seating was perfect (I suggest the E row for perfect screen alignment).

Dan Poe

Great seats. Clean. Little self-service popcorn and drinks! Giant claw game in lobby!!!! Made me feel like I was 3 again....

Bonnie Kruse

Best place to go on a Tuesday. $6.00 movies with all you can eat popcorn and drinks, including slurpies, and recliner seats! Love this theater.

Samuel Hicks

Great place to go see the movie with the family. Not to crowded. Nice seating. Good snacks. Fast service.

Adam Waters

Signs are posted for directions to front door now. Only complaint on the very top row ppl’s head will sometimes show on the big screen from walking in front of projector. Recline Seats are very nice and this place is cheaper than icon!

Fran Bender

All you can eat popcorn and soda...nuff said

Susan Bollwerk

Comfy chairs. Good popcorn.

Stacy Studstill

This is an awesome theater! It is just a quarter mile down the road from the Interquest Regal theater but this movie house is newer, less crowded, recliner seats in every cinema, and just a cut above. It is a family owned company which always makes a difference over big corporate owned theaters.

TyTheLaw RdmSf

Quick service free refills on drinks and popcorn

Lisa Flagg

The theatre itself is nice, and the seats very comfortable. The parking is terrible and it’s really confusing how to even enter the theatre with signs pointing in different directions with so much construction.

Jay W. Hill

Nice theater, very comfortable chairs. However, the chairs are so big it's hard to get close to your girl.

Dustin Hannan

Nice and smaller theaters with reclining chairs. They serve beer and wine as well. Quaint atmosphere. 1 thing of improvement would be like AMC...having delivery of refills during the movie. Over all good we will be back

Sarah Hedges

I post a two-star review for the subtle decline in cleanliness about the facility. The staff seemed rather lackluster in enthusiasm about tidying up around the popcorn dispensers. My mother, sisters and I were early for our movie and wanted to sit at a table, but had to sweep off spilt popcorn and wipe down the surface from condensation that settled on it with napkins. Every other table was the same-- like they hadn't been cleared and wiped down once all day. When I went to the mustard and ketchup dispensers, I could easily spot old, yucky crust starting to block it up, and had to use a napkin to quickly clear it. As a manager whom started in the customer service industry, the customer perspective is extremely important, and I wanted to write this review to hopefully catch the current upper management's attention to inform them that: to a trained eye, it's easy to see rather than prioritize tidying up and resetting the lobby for the next wave of eager movie goers, staff, present managers included, are not actively engaged in their customers' environment. Icon Cinemas is a wonderful cinema, and when I first moved to the Springs this summer, it always had a warm, cleaning, welcoming feel. The managers were walking about, the staff had genuine smiles (even the clean up crews!), the tables were clean. Lately though, things seem to be falling a bit. I have the highest hopes that this was just an off day on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but I feel that is no excuse to let the standards slip for a moment.

Sea_Bee

Top notch theater! The policy I most appreciate - there's a warning for people with crying kids to leave the theater. I did not bring my babies to movies and I brought my toddlers only to kids' movies. Outstanding!

Susan Denzer

Our favorite theater. Comfy seats, bottomless popcorn and drinks, ice cream and $6 Tuesdays.

Andrea Robinson

We had a great time at Icon Cinema. The self serve popcorn and drink stands are a cool feature, the seats are comfy, and the staff is friendly. Some drawbacks are the parking situation. There isn't much parking in the front. There is a huge parking lot in back, but it's kind of confusing to find your way to the front of the building. One other thing is the walls that separate each row in the theaters are a little high for young viewers. My 9 and 11 year old sons could not recline back because if they did they wouldn't be able to see very well. They even had to sit on their jackets to give them a boost to see better. I also couldn't fully recline because if I did my view would be blocked by the wall.

C. Phi

We love this theatre. It's clean, tins or popcorn that YOU refill, tons of soda and tea options. Super family friendly

Brice N

Great seats and good popcorn. Service charge a little high to book online. Love the ice beverage option

Matt

Theater 4 has a blotch issue in the top left side. The services were slow and no one was there to serve the beer or ice cream. The ticket process was awkward, the person has to read a more than 10 digit number to process your ticket. There are no signs to tell you how to get around the parking lot, or garage. The ticket price was reasonable; so not a full fail, but not really wanting to come back either.

Nikita Martin

I left 1 star off due to the parking situation. This movie theater has a bit of construction going on around it.. and honestly looks closed. But once you manage to figure out the parking situation and find the theater entrance..then it's all good from that point. I like the self-serve popcorn and drinks which also come with unlimited refills no matter the size. The pricing wasnt bad for the popcorn, but small is truly small. The movie was great .. I strongly disliked how they played their little theater policies during the middle of previews and they are another theater that plays the previews with the lights on (I like the lights off. Lol) They do have reclining seats and very spacious. I love the details in the theater like the wall color and flooring, but who cares about that .hehehe except me. They have a nice diner area for waiting or eating before the movie. Nothing too fancy, and no, they dont have a grill or made to order items. Overall it was a nice experience. I hope they plan to build around it though.. some walking distance restaurants and shopping for a nice day outing would make it great

Christine Yount Jones

Great recliner seats. And we've gotten spoiled with reserving seats ahead. Popcorn is self-serve so we can get the butter just the way we want it. While we appreciate the warnings to turn off cellphones or quiet babies...we always laugh at the tone of the warnings onscreen. Very threatening and over the top.

Jacob Oldenburg

Absolutely love this place. Free refills on popcorn sodas and Icees. Plus great and respectful concessions. Not nearly as busy as bigger theaters, great if you wanna see a mivie without huge crowds.

Sarah Downey

It's so weird to have a movie theater in a huge empty, still in construction, building. But it is great!! Nice big reclining seats.

jreuter60

"VIP" seating, which means cushy and spacious recliners. Book your tickets and seats online ahead of time, so no more getting stuck in the front row because you did not arrive extra early. Lots of space between rows so no climbing over other to get in and out.

Cook Family

Today was my first time at this theatre and I was very pleased. The staff was super friendly and patient with my kids who take forever to decide what they want to eat. When the cheese ran out they came and restocked immediately. The facility was amazingly clean. The chairs were super comfortable, spacious, and quiet (considering that my kids like to play with the buttons sometimes during the movie). The best theater I’ve been to in Colorado Springs!

Lyndon Gotelaere

Great movie theater! Very nice and new and had great dessert options!

Dion Tchokreff

Everyone loves this place because you get free refills on popcorn and soda. I thought it was okay at best. The tickets that I ordered online were double sold, so when I we got to the movie, there were already people in our seats that had identical tickets to me. The seats that my party and I ended up in were okay. The leg rests kept getting stuck and wouldn't move well.

Amber Wickell

Love this local movie theater. Great reclining chairs and able to bring in blankets. Not usually busy so the theaters are not packed.

Lisa Neill

Overall movie experience was good. Concessions were a little less than some other theaters, plus unlimited soda and popcorn refills. Theaters were small but spacious and seats were comfy, but a little squeaky when reclining. Parking was a pain, and signage to get to the entrance is confusing. Hoping parking will be better if/when the rest of the complex is finished.

gregory koneval

Great friendly, professional staff, everyone happy and smiling. Wonderful movie experience! Seating and amenities top notch!

Ryan Martinez

The staff is so friendly. The unlimited popcorn is always hot and delicious. This is always my go to theater. The seat are comfortable.

Bradley Nathan

It is a little off the beaten path for us, given that we live in southern Colorado Springs, but we had guests in town and wanted to try out the new Cinema. The recliner seating was great, the theater was clean, and we loved the self service free refills for popcorn and sodas.

Mary C

Love this cinema. We live in Monument, so this place isn't that far away. They have great popcorn, and it's refillable! They have good customer service, it's wonderfully clean, and of course the reclining seats! Also love how they promote the military and don't like disruptions during movies! We like this place better than the Hollywood down the road.

Cristina B

It was hard to figure out how to get in, but the theater was clean, and comfortable. The seats are very spacious, and they recline. Also, the popcorn dispensing machine was fun.

katy Na

Love this theatre. Seats recline and are comfy. They serve alcohol.

unfit content

As i walked to my seat my whole family echoed " why is it so hot in here?" As i watched others enter I listened to the same responce over and over. Family after family as they turned the corner to be seated affirmed what we felt. We were top row, must've been 90 degrees up there. 3hrs and we were done with it. I left with a headache and grumpy kids. What will it be like when summer finally hits? At least you can skip the trip to the sauna.

Stacey L

You digLove it there! So easy. The theaters are nice and chairs are so comfy. Love the self serve snacks and drinks. If you need a refill, you don't have to stand in line.

CD Haun

Enjoy this theater and their senior rates.

Anthony Wherry

I didn't care for the popcorn but that's just me. Overall nice place and it wasn't really busy.

Abby C.

The staff were really helpful, bathrooms were clean, seats were very comfy in the theater

Laina Le

This place is really cool. Not as popular yet so it's not as packed. You can buy a popcorn bag and drink and refill through your movie as you wish. They have popcorn machines to refill your popcorn so it's really awesome.

T P

Had a Private Screening Birthday Party for my son at this location, and our guests loved it!!! The staff was very accommodating and made things hassle free for the parents. Thank you so much for making my son’s 3rd birthday party a hit:) You guys Rock

Cole Morgan

Nice staff but their gift card machine was down and they did not let us see a movie. We are moving across country in 2 days and now our gift card will go to waste. Very disappointed that they were not able to work something out to help us. I would reccomend going to a real movie theatre and not some janky knock off like icon

Noelle Hendrix

The theater isn't done but they are opening select areas. The parking is kinda crazy but once construction is done it will be much easier. There is an all you can eat popcorn and drink which is really fun and makes the lines much shorter. They have assigned seats with recliners and it's very nice!

Michael Mautz

The seats are very comfortable (they recline by the push of a button). I would personally avoid the first row of seating, especially if you wear glasses because you are so close that if you want to see what is happening on one side of the screen and then the other you are constantly turning your head. The food is ok and not unreasonable with their prices. Parking is abismal. I am not sure who to really blame about that but if you can't find parking at the front entrance then your FitBit will be happy you got your steps in. The stalled construction is a complete eyesore and very inconvenient to get to parking around back. You almost feel like you are going to the movies in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Apart from those critiques, watching movies there is great! It is nice to have a second option for movies in this area.

Maria Leyvas

Although there's a lot of construction going on The seats were comfortable the atmosphere was wide open which made me feel comfortable, and talking about the concession area. The manager I believe was very attentive when I had a GERD attack. The bathrooms were spectacular. I will go back again

Matt Peterson

Great theater. Clean. Great sounds. And all the popcorn you can eat.

Jeremy Lane

Really enjoyed the slight difference in how they do business over large chain cinemas.

valerie montoya

Very fun place, reclining seats, clean. Love it

Jennifer Tate Foote

Very nice theater. They seem to have streamlined things. I would have given it 5 stars is they would have had a bar.

Megan Harris

Clean, not too crowded, and nice staff!

Sarah Winn

Been multiple times and we've never had an issue. the warnings and commercials before the movie are always cheesy, but who cares! chairs are comfy and popcorn is great. who cares about the parking..take a few extra steps and work off the popcorn!

Trent Urban

A great place to watch a movie, it's clean and they're not overly busy (yet)

Jason L

Have been going here for awhile to see movies, never had any problems with anything. Seats recline, unlimited refills on all popcorn sizes/drinks. Place is clean and has a parking garage as well so during hail season you can go see a movie and not worry about your car.

Issabelle Maldonado

Amazing best movie theater I've been to. I've been there a few times; the theater is very clean and comfortable. They take sanitation very seriously which is amazing. Not only yhat but you get to get as much popcorn, drinks, etc. They let you get it yourself it truly feels like a VIP experience.

Kaitlin Baird

This theater doesn't seem well known, which is great since it's not too busy. Even during the busy times you can't tell. There are about three feet walls between each row of seats which gives the illusion that there are less people there. The have all you can eat self serve popcorn which is a cool concept as well as drinks. Staff has always been friendly. The seats are the recliners that you see in a lot of theaters today and are quite comfortable. They also do cool throw back days where they bring back old movies to the theater. I've been able to see some classics on the big screen, which is always awesome! This is my go to theater!

Elijah Arns

Great seats at the theater! The popcorn and drink deal is amazing!

Rich Butler

Comfortable seats, great sound and picture

Zachary Sparks

They're a very nice theater, and reasonably priced to boot.

Joel Loomis

Big reclining seats. Cheaper prices on tickets and food and drinks. Only downside is it's location and parking.

Mike Walsh

All you can eat popcorn. All you can drink soft drinks and icee's. Assigned seating in oversized power recliners!!! Our theater had a max capacity of 50ish. Oh and a BAR!!! WHATS NOT TO LIKE!!! Makes going to the movies a treat!!!

Kenneth Coffee

Comfortable seats and pleasant staff.

Bobby Jones

My personal theater of choice. I think they just introduced the souvenir cups that can be used on every visit, if I understand that correctly. Great addition to an already excellent concept. Love the seat selection and purchase through the app. Catch me there at least twice a month.

Justin turnbaugh

New theater, fast concessions, great prices. Reclining seats and the rest of the amenities we expect now. Great experience .

Brandon Ross

Flashback Cinema is a great experience at this nice, new theater. Can't wait to go back!

Przemek Purzynski

Great service, very clean lots of great snacks.

Maddison Calcara

Nice theater with reclining seats! Decent prices for too. Excellent place to enjoy all the latest shows.

David Chumbley

Great facility and very clean. Unlimited popcorn and drink which is a huge plus. Nice recliners and never too busy.

Katie Graham

During our 6 week stay in the area we saw 4 movies here. This place is fantastic. If I could have given more than FIVE STARS I would have. Theater is always clean, staff super friendly, love the self serve popcorn & drinks and the comfy recliner seating is the best! If we lived here, it would most definitely be our “home theater”.

v hudson

Great new theater, great seats, love the self-service popcorn. You can butter the layers yourself, however you like it!

Jennifer Swank Wiley

Self service popcorn & drinks!!! Super perk. Parking is an obvious issue since it’s going to be under constant construction for sometime- recommend adding better signage to help your customers navigate parking. Best comfy seats in town!

Trever Shirin

You know, it was an alright experience, it just promised more than I was given. Sure, free popcorn and drinks are great, but that was the only perk it seemed to have. The chairs were the standard recliners of other movie theatres, the screen was normal sized, the floors looked like a millennial model home's (which gave me ideas for my own home), and the service was scant. There wasn't anything special about this experience. I'm giving three stars because I was expecting five stars from all their ads and, as I said, all I got was extra popcorn and soda by paying more for a ticket.

Bobbi-Jeanne Guerpo

Nice small theater! I really liked it! You were able to get your own soda and popcorn which was really nice too! Parking out front is limited but they have a huge lot in the back which is nice! The price of tickets were really good too! The chairs were super comfy and were the recliners! Will definitely go back here again!

Logan Cooper

Clean, comfortable seats, and unlimited popcorn for a fair price.

Charlene Barnes

Nice place to go to the movies!

Donna Dimmick

This theatre is great and the popcorn is THE best! Great service. I go here frequently just to get a bucket of popcorn for my residents for a treat. The theatre always gives me a plastic bag in case it spills in the car. The resident all love the popcorn treat!

Peter Herget

Spiderman - Far From Home, yeah, it was a great flick to see, the seats comfortable, the popcorn was perfectly popped, and those leather seats felt amazingly soft even after the credits rolled 2 hours and 9 minutes later. They had a very interesting system - a popcorn dispenser? I have never seen one at a movie theatre before, yeah, Utah needs to step up and start installing these machines at both Cinemark & Megaplex

Tamara Ruth Blair

Love this movie theater they gave great prices on tuesday half off, unlimited drinks and popcorn very nice seating comfortable, screens are huge and great picture.

Jo Glackman

Comfortable seats, great picture and sound, friendly staff. Needs to be cleaner.

Alyssa Koogler

This is a great theatre! I love having assigned seats, and the reclining chairs as well. They really space out the rows well, so you're not crowded trying to get through the reclined seats. Has self serve popcorn and drinks as well, which is nice. And I think they have pretty decent prices as well good what you get.

Rahul Vijayakrishnan

Cons: I wasn't overly impressed with the theater TBH. I watched a movie there just last weekend. Theater is in the middle of nowhere. Not completely finished construction-wise. Seating was decent. Same as cinemark seats. Pros: Concession prices were low.

J L

Great place to watch great movies. Interesting way of dispensing drinks and popcorn. Seats are reclining and reservable. Clean facilities and friendly staff...

Ryan Robison

Pretty good little theater. I think it dumb to have the majority of the parking in the back of the theater. Not sure of the logic there but it is still a nice theater. Giant popcorn machines and self serve sodas are a good idea.

Marcus Forelius

Comfy seats, as good as the other theaters in the area not necessarily any better.

John Cinnamon

My favorite movie theater in Colorado Springs... Great seats. Great staff.

Gina Flickinger

Interesting serve yourself all you can eat popcorn and soda. Seemed slow for a Saturday evening but the seats were comfortable, new and clean. I will be back.

Daniel Ciucci

Clean theatre. Good seating. Really weird layout. You have to park on one side and walk around to the other because parking is full by the main doors.

Mitch Ryder

Love this theater. Great seats, security at the door, tons of popcorn, (ice cream, beer and wine also) construction makes things a little weird, but parking in the structure isn't a bad deal, just exit the theater from your respective door and you'll be close to your car

Jenny Pitcher

Super nice theater. Roomy seats. You can't see the people in front of you which is nice. Security guard at the front door was nice and the staff was helpful. Two drink maximum can be painful when watching bad movies with your tweens but probably best since I'm the driver home :) Would totally recommend this to anyone in the area.

Jo M

A good theater. the parking is far from the front, on a busy night, if someone has issues walking i would drop them off front then park. The popcorn and sodas are self serve. Everything looked clean and worked as expected.

Marty Kell

This movie theater has awesome seating. All the seats are very comfortable AND THEY RECLINE. They also have FREE refillable popcorn for all the sizes. Don't forget 6 dollar Tuesdays as well.. so very affordable. Only reason for 4stars is finding the "front" of the building for close parking can be a bit challenging for the first time visitor.

Veronica Baldock

Very very nice place on the inside. Getting a good parking spot is a nightmare. They have a good military discount. Food is expensive like at every other theater. They show very strange commercials at the beginning of movies that tell you if your kid is loud or crying that you will get kicked out. They show it in kids movies too. Kind of aggressive. Super comfortable seats and spacious walkways.

Gaijin 602

Comfy seats. Need lil more attention to cleaning. Friendly staff.

Cassidy Fairey

This is my preferred theater. They have the good recliner seats, and self serve popcorn and self serve nacho cheese. They also serve beer/wine! However, parking sucks not sure if that will be fixed in the future and expect to pay a bit more for the nice features compared to other places in town without the reclining seats

girlcalledryan

Parking was a little weird. Love the self serve popcorn and drinks. Makes it easier when you go with a group and want to share. They have the modern reserved seating, and I felt like their recliners recline more than other cinemas.

Ken Lepik

Horrible way to treat a guy in a wheelchair. We couldnt get into the the theatre with the movie we drove 40 minutes to see. They offered another movie we had no interest in seeimg without even checking to see if there was an opening. Then they gave me a gift card to replace what i paid for a movie i couldnt see and the water we paid for. This was a big fail in my book Icon Movie Theatre.

Louis N. Batides

Great seats and well organized. The sound was great as well. I like the emphasis on keeping distractions away from hindering the movie going experience.

Howard Rubin

Signage is terrible, construction workers take up all close parking. No directions where to drive. Restrooms have no paper towels or air drier instructions. No guards, no one to help in the parking area, feels so empty and unsafe. From the parking lot the place looks closed and under construction.

Abbie Yardley

Love the nice seats and the popcorn self dispenser. They have severe your own nacho cheese, chili, popcorn, and drinks. Great location. For now it doesn't look built because the buildings around it aren't done yet. They were open the day after the huge blizzard.

Brenda Downs

love this theater! The recliners care awesome! I like that you can refill your popcorn and drinks as much as you want.

Andy Armijo

It's a strange location that was going to be a hospital. Flashback cinema (a different classic movie every week) used to be for me and me alone which was sparkly and good and is the only reason I subscribe to moviepass. It's great for the business that they're getting more traffic but I miss screaming at movie screens as if I were at home.

Duck Duck

Saw Downton Abbey there a couple weeks ago and the seats were comfy and the wall of popcorn didn't disappoint

Morgan smith

It is so amazing. The seats are so comfy and the sound is so good. Your popcorn and drinks are refillable for as many times as you want and it's a good place for dates. It's not far from any where and its easy to find even though its right next to a sketchy church but it's ok you get to VIP your seats and there's parking everywhere in never gets 100% full and the parking garage is easy access and easy to get out of and no there is no more construction on the building it self it was supposed to be something but they went bankrupt there's only minor construction but it's not on the rides to get there only to give more ways to assess it in many ways

John Miller

I love this theatre! Unlimited soda and popcorn with friendly staff! The seats are comfortable and theatre is clean! Highly recommend!

Susanne Watts

Love this theater! Quiet. Great seats. Serves beer and wine. Self serve popcorn with free refills. Anytime we want to see a movie we make the trip north.

Terrible! On the 11th, we went to take our son to his first movie (A Dogs Way Home) and our first visit to this theater. As soon as we managed to wind our way through the confusing parking garage with lack of signs etc, we made it inside and the power shut off. This day in age, how could a brand new business have power shut off without backup? They were just giving a manual refund ticket. Then after talking with an associate, who acted as though if the power came back on while previews were still on (he said 20 minutes long) we could still see the movie. So we waited at his advice with the hope the power would return. The power did come back on at 11:43 (showtime 11:30), but the "manager" told us there was no way to see the movie because the projector wouldn't be on and it would be late regardless of whether previews were on our the movie had actually started. So they would just refund our movie to the credit card, but couldn't refund the stupid online fee. So we just paid $2 to sit there and disappoint our son. So we left with him screaming and crying wanting to see the movie. Needless to say, that ruined his and our experience. At this point we will never return to this theater!

cheapest theatre around for now since there is nothing else around here. prices will probably go up once construction of all the new homes and businesses are completed! huge, comfortable reclining seats and lots of food options. pretty empty and no lines!

Sarah Fields

Love that this place actually cares if people in the theater are loud. Also it's always spotless, and the staff is super friendly. This is the only theater we go to now!!

Maria Jones

Tried to buy tickets to Toy Story but they want me to drive 20 minutes to get tickets because online they charge a bunch of money in service fees if you don't want to take a chance. What a joke it's 2019 everything is automated - no need for fake service fees.

Keith

She's definitely a very wonderful nice place. We just took our youth group from church to your theater. You guys were amazing and accommodated us with our own theater to keep the children safe. The security guard was awesome and so was all the staff very kind and friendly. Definitely appreciate what you guys did for us. I would definitely recommend you guys to everybody I talk to

Joseph Poelstra

I really love Icon more and more, it's a really nice theater, the popcorn is great because you make it how you like it. The seats recline so it's nice and comfortable. The one issue with that, is guys, if you want to put the moves on your date, they pretty much have to sit in your chair...they are just too big and comfortable to reach around your dates shoulders. Unless you have Orangutan arms I guess ;)

Nikhil R

Reserved seating which is awesome and you won't have to deal with people who reserve seats for others. The seats are leather, spacious and comfortable.

Skyler Harms

Every time I go here it has been great. I like that you can reserve your seats, have semi private seating, and less people in the theatre. Can't speak on the popcorn since I don't eat it when I go to theatres to often. But for watching something on the big screen, great place!

Keith Hasselstrom

The cinema is in the middle of a condo community being developed so it's kind of a surreal experience driving up to the cinema. The seats and sound are fantastic. I really enjoy that you pick your seats when you pay -- so if you show up late - you still have your seats. I notice several other older movie theaters in the area have also been retrofitted with these reclining seats.

Christopher Fugate

Discount Tuesdays are amazing! Very affordable theater with clean rooms, good food, and very comfortable chairs. Also love how you can schedule days ahead and get seating of your choice

James Lambert

So far so good. Friendly staff, easy parking, great seating. I hope it lasts

Anna Light

Love this theater! All you can eat popcorn and drinks and super comfortable recliner seats in the theater. The staff are friendly and helpful. The theater and bathrooms are always clean.

Molly Dorman

Great theater. I'll be back. Very clean. Super comfortable seats and friendly staff.

Rory Magnusson

Pretty nice place to watch a movie. Has recliner seats and a normal snack counter.

Jared Arledge

Get your own popcorn place! So its stale and not fresh or hot. Seats are comfortable!

Kenneth Akers

VIP Seating is our preferred cinema in the Springs. This cinema has lounge seating and is never booked full. This hidden gem is a great place to see a movie. The screen quality and comfort is always the best. The pre-movie scenes could use a lot of work as the "SNACKS SNACKS SNACKS" incentive is always a tad overdone. Overall, this is a great place to relax with the family.

David Duffey

VIP reserve seating is the only way to go. Best movie experience ever

Ellen Dodgers

Amazing movie experience. Friendly staff and nice reclining chairs. You also get to make your popcorn how you want it.

Annalyn Hale

Other than the front entrance not being identifiable from the street (it's on the south side of the building), two thumbs up!!

hk ferrier

Great seats pricey as all movies are; especially popcorn and drinks. Need some benches in corridors for those with handicaps and more handicap parking

Ashley Langlois

The recliners are awesome, there's a wall between you and the people in front of and behind you, and they have ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Bill DeMatte

Best place to see a movie other than your own barco lounger!

C. Parker-Wilkes

New, nice and clean theater. Not a lot of previews and no tolerance for crying children, excellent time!

Andy Da Dragoon

This theater is one of the better ones that is in the Springs. The only bad thing is that it is out of the way and have ongoing construction all around it. They even have a self serve popcorn dispenser, where you can get free refills and free refills on sodas also. The seats recline and are leather. Too bad the theater isn't closer...

Adam Wheaton

Great, clean theater. Great service.

Jimmy Everett

Love this theater, why would you pay more for less at Cinemark or Regal?

Vinita Silverhorn

Excellant, accommadated to me, like the hours & security.

Jacob Moore

The customer service here is excellent, probably some of the best I've ever received at any movie theater. The seats are extremely comfortable, utilizing the automatic recliners we see everywhere on theatres nowadays, but are marginally comfier and spaced better. All you can eat popcorn and free refills also is amazing Haha. They also serve beer and wine here at the establishment, nothing special but it's a nice addition. Love this place

On Saturday morning 7 of us, 3 adults and 4 children, attending a showing of the Lion King at Icon Cinema in Colorado Springs. After getting the kids settled I went back to the lobby and approached 3 men gathered in a corner who appeared to be management in order to request a closed caption device. Upon the request, I was asked for a copy of my ID for management to "hold onto". I informed them that I did not have my ID with me and was told that no device could be provided without ID. I have worn hearing aids 30 of my 37 years and never, in this country, have I been requested to provide a piece of collateral in order to utilize a tool for accessibility. I explained as much to the gentlemen and was told that this wasn't an accessibility issue, rather it was an issue of expensive equipment. I then responded that in fact, this was discrimination. At this point, a man in the group explained that he would provide the device, "Just this once" and that next time I was to "not be so rude." He then turned and went to retrieve the device. When he came back, I explained that it is not rude to request an assistive device for a disability and asked for contact information for his supervisor. This was refused as he told me he was the "General Manager". I then told him I would like the contact information for Icon's Corporate Office. This was refused and I was told the theater is "family-owned". I then requested the contact information for the owner. The GM left and came back with a card, pointed to the website and told me there was a contact form on that. I will point out that on January 17, 2017 a final rule by the Department of Justice went into effect regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) wherein it is required, by the Federal Government, to provide closed caption devices at movie theaters and that failure to do so is in fact discrimination and violation of this act. Nowhere in this act is a provision provided to allow for a theater to in turn request any form of collateral whatsoever for these devices. In fact, to do so would be tantamount to requesting a person in a wheelchair to provide collateral to a business in case their wheelchair in some way damaged the business wheelchair ramp providing entrance to their establishment. Upon returning the device after the film, I informed the manager that the act did not allow for a request of collateral and was told, in response, that the requirement to surrender identification was a matter of policy. A policy cannot contradict laws passed by the federal government of the United States, when they do, they become crimes. At no point should anyone patronizing an institution be made to feel inferior or as though they in some way "owe something" to a business. This is how I was made to feel at Icon. I was also told that by demanding that the ADA be adhered to, I was in some way being rude to the employees who were in violation thereof. This experience was a poor one, to say the least and while I have no intention to ever provide Icon with my business, or my family's business again, I can only hope that this experience and this comment will make it's way to some form of company leaders who will, in fact, ensure that those with disabilities are not treated as second tiered citizens and patrons in the future.

Love this theater. They've brought back the feeling I had when I was kid and going to the movies was a special event. VIP seating is it for me too. I'm never going back to the old ways of cinema!

Thomas Brinkmann

The best bang for your buck. Awsome staff.

deet s

Newer cinema, everything was nice and clean. Seats were comfortable. Happened to go on a Tuesday so caught it on$6 ticket night. It was great.

Christoph Lee

Loved the theatre and how it's set up. The serve yourself popcorn and soda machines are a brilliant idea. The seats were super comfortable too. They recline further then I've seen in any other theatres. The customer service was awesome and actually saved us a little money that they didn't have to. Excellent theatre, I highly recommend.

Doug Kehren

Seats are comfy, refills on popcorn, and they serve beer on tap.

Mike Allred

Nice place for a movie with reserved seating, quick snack service, and small crowds

Nathan Fickas

Arguably the best movie theater in the city. Free refills on ALL drinks and popcorn. Comfortable seats with affordable prices.

Eric B

First time coming here, was a nice experience. Had a beer in which they use cups that fill from the bottom which was pretty cool, only let down is it kept slowly leaking during my movie. Other let down is I saw staff pour premade bagged popcorn into the popcorn dispensers. Not my favorite theatre, but I liked it.

Shannon Gourley

Decently priced theater, especially on $6 Tuesdays. Great seats, no hassle, minimal pre- movie advertisements.

jerry quintana

Really nice movie theater hopefully the bolts built-in will grow soon. Modern reclining chairs very comfortable seating area. Price is Right and not crowded.
