The screen is decent size for such a small town but they REALLY need to do something about the echo. They need to put up some sound absorbing materials on the walls. Also, PLEASE get someone to do your website... It isn't accurate. It doesn't accurately tell you when the film will be in 3D or not. The dates are all off. I'm really glad it is here so I don't have to drive to Grand Junction just to see a movie. Add a few speakers behind the seats and put up some echo absorbing materials on the walls and it will go from "Good" to "Great".

It's a pretty nice theater, friendly workers, a clean theater, have never really seen the theater filled up but maybe I just haven't watch the movie right after it freshly comes out. I hope there was more parking spots but it's also on main street, so not exactly their fault.

If you love the experience of attending first rate film premieres, The Egyptian theater should be your first stop. No other theater combines the welcoming atmosphere, downright affordable ticket & snack prices for your family or date, and the Top Film of the week. In addition, its location provides plenty of restaurants, shops, & family friendly pub & grills one can enjoy before or after the movie. It's a real gem. Although the acoustics of this theater weren't ideal,given the age,there are "sweet spots" throughout this large venue. Attending this theater will make your evening the next time you're in the mood for getting out to enjoy some ambiance & watching a film with someone special.-BURKE MILLS

I just love the way they have taken care to provide us with the first run movies. The way the theater is painted is from the days of old Egypt. The seats are completely comfortable with plenty of leg room. And the concessions are in the lobby of the theater. Any thing you need for your eating pleasure and drinks if you are parched. Come on Saturday or Sunday at 4:00 and get the lower price movies. It is a great way to spend a hot day in the cool theater. They also have a 7:00 and a 9:00 show. Come by and check it out.

The theater was converted from a stage theater to a movie theater. It is Egyptian themed inside. Because it was once used for plays, the screen isn't as large as other movie theaters. However, I love how unique the theater is and that it is a historic building (originally opened in 1928 I believe). I always enjoy watching a movie here.
