I love this mall and I love the breastfeeding rooms. I am on baby number 3 and all of them that is the mall I go to. I can breastfeed there and walk around in any type of weather because it's an inside mall and I love the food stands there. They have so many great stories I can go to and take my kids. Westfield Plaza Bonita is one of the most complete malls of Chula Vista and Bonita. If you are from Chula Vista, this place might be a little far, but you can still go. The place looks pretty new and is filled with good stores. Probably, the best Mall for Chula Vista and Bonita people.

Super big that's the place to walk when it's all rainy out and that what we did. A slushy big bag of popcorn. Did a lot of watching all the other people. I think they were looking too. Had fun, could have seen a movie but who wants to miss the first 5 minutes?

Tons of shopping options at this mall. Parking can be tough in parts of the mall, but they do have tons of parking. Word of advice, be aware of where you park. On my last visit I witnessed a woman going around and pulling the door handles on several cars and peering into cars between panhandling breaks. When reported to security, they were very responsive and took care of the situation quickly and discreetly. This mall has several dining options (Applebee's/Hooters/Outback/Incredible John's) and a well rounded food court too. Disney Store here is well stocked and Target is HUGE. Mall is easily accessed from the 805 or the 54 freeways.

Overall this is a pretty nice mall. From what I saw, the mall was clean. They have a little train that goes around the bottom floor so if you have a child, this could be fun for them. The stores look nice, a lot of the same stores you see at most kind of big city malls, such as Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, Hot Topic, Spencers. Of course, there are also jewelry stores here. I mainly went in for Forever 21 and didn't really look into the other stores much, so I can't say much for the other stores, but the Forever 21 was nice. It was clean, overall it was organized. There weren't too many things out of place. And I did see a lot of clothing that is in as far as fashion goes. I, personally, enjoyed looking at the clothing in the male department more than the females mainly because I found a lot of it cute and just stuff that I would wear more than anything in the female 'section' which is pretty much the rest of the entire store ._. But yea, overall my visit here was pleasant. It wasn't even that crowded for a weekend, so that was kind of cool.

For broken yoke. I never go willingly only I just keep getting out voted by family members that can't remember how horrible the food was the previous time. This time I went and didn't order anything because out of the 3 previous times if eaten there none of it was good. Just to shut up the family because I guess it hurts them that I dont eat at a place i dont like, i ordered the chill. Then promptly sent it back, with this message for the head sheep "you should print on the menu below fresh that the can was freshly opened upon ordering". I grow up eating chill from cans I know what canned cheap canned chill tastes like. Next time I get out voted for this place I'm going to take a pbj sandwich.

I came here just to watch one of the last remaining shopping malls in America that have a big customer base. This is a place where you can forget about the hassles of capitalism and enjoy all the wonderful merchandise it has to offer to fill all sorts of voids inside you, assuming that you store your brain somewhere so that you can enjoy. Food court is really big but as usual with popular places, you should come with lots of patience.

Plaza Bonita Mall is one of the largest and most expansive indoor malls in all of San Diego County. You can enjoy all of your favorite brands and restaurants under one roof. There is also a movie theater, a food court, and even a train for the kiddos! It feels safe to be there. Parking is free and there is a lot of it! Getting to the mall from the freeway is also quite simple. At malls across the country, people have stopped shopping and the malls are dying. But at Plaza Bonita Mall it has never been busier or more vibrant. In fact you will be amazed how many people still enjoy a visit to the mall when you visit this location.

Great mall next to a Target and other stores. Not really the type of mall I'd recommend if us it public transportation on the weekends. The bus rarely passes by and the stop you have to catch is a bit funky.

Every store is really great and the price ranges vary which is nice to see. From target, to Amc,H&M, and forever 21 to buying a dress for a quince or special event and beautiful jewelry much as pandora to a variety in the food court. There is even a puppy store and so much more, highly recommend going 10/10

It's a beautiful plaza, quite large, the food court is big with many types of foods to choose from. It has a very large parking lot which is free. Clean plaza and well taken care of after all these years!

I go there to pick up the bus going to Sycuan. There is plenty of parking and the parking is free. Not to far from the freeway, and the bus ride is free. Just need a valid photo ID to board the bus. Get there early because sometimes the bus gets full. First come, first served.

Outdated indoor mall, parking is tight. Not well lit for parking perimeter. Good security inside, but did not see any outside of mall. Shady characters all around, close to homeless camps. Selection of stores just ok. Not the first place I would think of for shopping, but would return.

The mall is decent. It's about the only indoor mall in San Diego. It's huge and there are a lot of stores but a lot of them repeat. And it's really only clothes and shoes so if that's your thing, this is the place for you. That is not my thing so this was a little disappointing. It was busy but we were still able to manuver around pretty well. It was only a problem in the smaller stores like hot topic and Spencers. The stores were small and packed with merchandise so you couldn't just walk around. My kids and husband had to stay outside the store while I TRIED to shop. Definitely some designs flaws!

For a San Diego mall, it's pretty good. Target & movie theater on one side and Macy's on the other. JCPenney in the middle. John's Incredible Pizza and Applebee's. I think there's still an Outback on the outskirts of the mall. I hear they have great margaritas.

Best spot to go to for a mall if the weather is too cold or if it’s raining. Since, this place is an inside mall you’ll never get wet or feel too cold. This mall is pretty big so, I highly recommend checking this mall out. This mall has a pretty big food court and AMC movie theatre. It has everything you need.

It's been a long time since I came here to Plaza Bonita! A larger setting than the Chula Vista Center, I couldn't believe how much this place had changed since my last visit. With a wider variety of stores and restaurants, one will have an amazing time here. What makes this place a lot better is that it's indoors, for if you want a change from Chula Vista's outdoor environment.

I have been coming to this mall since I was a teenager. They have a great food court that you must try. I would recommend the Mongolian noodles. They also have a movie theater. There are shoe shops clothing shops coffee shops and even a Barbershop. I believe there's a hooters downstairs next to the target store.

I'm not one that shops at malls. Most are usually too crowded & not very clean. The only reason I was there was to wait for my daughters to do some shopping with friends. This mall is very clean, very well laid out & I suspect due to the layout it doesn't seem to be overly crowded even though I notice lots of people around. Pedestrian traffic seems to flow well. Lots of areas to comfortably sit, rest & people watch. An EXCELLENT food court! Wide aisles & surprisingly large elevators & wide stairways. My only complaint is very little shaded parking, a problem on 100°+ days.

What an impressive mall, for families especially! The children's play space is - hands down - the very best I have EVER seen. Having a Target & a Macy's in the same shopping center is also pretty fantastic... if you're into that whole shopping thing.

I had the lettuce wrap with bottomless salads. Basically I got a got a double cheeseburger but without the bun wrapped in lettuce. It was delicious. If you are trying to avoid carbs and loose, this is a great indulgence.

Great service and server. She made certain TIPS(to insure proper service). She was very attentive, calm demeanor, and pleasant, so I tip'd her. The food was great, fresh and hot. The resturaunt was clean, had a nice ambiance, even thought there were games (soccer & basketball) on the tv's they were muted with subtitles, so patrons would not have to compete with them and talk loud. The bathroom (ladies) was clean and smelled good.

Cars get broken into at this mall, so don't leave valuables in your car and try to park close to the building. Regardless of that issue, this mall is nice and has a pretty good food court. Watch out for crows in the Fall when they stay in the parking lot trees and poop everywhere.

If you come here in December be ready to fight for parking and stand in long lines at all stores. It’s expected though. Lots of stores and the place seems to be keep pretty clean. Lots of families which I love since I have kids too. If picking up is your game, there is plenty to choose from mostly Latinos/Latinas which is expect due to demographics. I will come back as soon as I live in SD.

Love this mall!! Thats saying something because I hate shopping lol. LUCKILY there is plenty of spots to chill with couches,benches,massage recliners etc while the wife or kids are stopping and shopping at every store they walk past. There's also a huge food court with slightly higher than their outside counterparts pricing. Average single meal price at every food spot I looked will run you $10 and $12 with a drink so not bad. The atmosphere is roomy and open with a sense of space instead of closed in confinement because you're indoors. All around enjoyable experience every time I've been dragged here lol.

Indoor malls are not the norm in SoCal, and this is one of the more popular ones in San Diego. There is plenty of parking, but with only one garage, it might mean a long walk across one of the large lots surrounding the mall to reach an entrance. Most of the major stores are here: JCPenny's, Macy's, H&M, Forever 21, etc. With plenty of amazing restaurants you don't need to go off-site for food, either. A large Planet Fitness is bordered by time-limited parking spots to help you get your workout in. Every major mobile phone carrier is joined by BestBuy Mobile and an assortment of other stores/stands selling cases and repair services; so, your cell phone needs are covered, too. The center of the mall, next to JCPenny's, contains several jewelry stores next to each other, which makes them easy to compare. Bottom line: Plaza Bonita is a great mid-range mall that is especially great on hot summer days, since it is fully indoors.

Can definitely find what you are looking for here as far as attire goes. Its a great place to find infant and children's items, there is also a kid's play area in the mall with a beautiful mini aquarium. You can find good food in the food court and yummy snacks throughout the mall. Its an ideal place to visit when it is rainy because its an inside mall. ;)

The cashier in women's apparel could have been nicer when addressing that I was not standing in the right place for the line after 5 minutes of waiting. A whole new line formed somewhere else. Otherwise the rest of the staff was very helpful. Location was clean and the lighting was kind of dark for my taste.
