This place is so NICE.. I have been in Oakland theater ..and San Francisco a several times for shows...this place has very nice acoustic sound..with the re exception of price on the drinks..... I understand the revenue on "FIX" this place the launch is great Any ways..That's why I only giving 3 stars.

I saw a live taping of NPR and KQED Forum with my eighth grade class. It was one of my favorite experiences that I had ever had and a really nice show. I would definitely like to come back here and see if the actual or musical performance.

Went to see Jon b as part of my birthday celebration. The sound system is crappy. Couldn't understand most of the show. I don't know about other things they promote but, don't go for concerts.

The show was Great!!! Najee as well as the opening act Blake Aaron put on an awesome performance. A very nice local venue to enjoy live music. Will definitely be back. "Solano County" support the Empress Theatre!! Show em some Love!!

Great venue. Nice condition of original look. I miss going to the comedy shows here. They did not get a lot of attendance, but the people the performers were always pretty good. It was fun discovering new talent. Some of them I have seen years later on new Netflix shows. So try to support your local arts when you can.

Seating is tight. Seats are not for people with hips or above a size 12. In the upper level you have to get up and out of the isle to let people pass, or the to go to the bathroom, or so they could get another drink, or popcorn..I spent most of my night standing in the isle because of this. Otherwise it's a nice theatre.

I have not yet figured out why more people aren't at the Empress. It's an awesome historical theater with great films, music and entertainment. Parking across the street, affordable tickets, great seats and sound. We love it and are going back tonight for another band. DEEP BLUE JAM WAS AMAZING last night.

I had a great time watching the Superbowl at the at the empress theater , cocktails food beautiful surroundings huge movie screen live broadcast, Judy gave me a lovely tour of the joint, and Diane makes great cocktails. I had VIP seating and a great time was had by all I'll do it again

I love the Empress Theatre. They always have different shows for great prices. It’s a great place if you want to try something new. They have tons of different shows for example I went to a Johnny Cash tribute concert and a week later I went to a magic show and both were great shows. If you’re looking for a good time you should definitely look into seeing a show at the Empress

A nice theater in downtown Vallejo. They have a good lineup of bands. I was disappointed that the historic theater wasn't as ornately or interestingly detailed as some of the gorgeous old theaters in San Francisco, but it's a good little theater to go to.

Beautiful quaint oasis in Vallejo. Great bar. Parking across the street is pricey but it's a seller's market because otherwise you have to park... well, anywhere else in Vallejo. The seats are fine for me but may be a bit narrow if you're more, shall we say, Texan-y.

This is a beautiful building, comfy seats, a nice bar/lounge for intermission, they sell popcorn, a big stage that can accommodate musicals as well as other kinds of performances. A jewel. I saw "Young Frankenstein" by Bay Area Stage there.

Enjoyed watching the Superbowl at this location. The environment was clean, well lit, and enjoyable. They had the large theater screen along with a screen at the bar area and another in a private lounge room. Free admission. The food was excellent and the drinks were well made. The Empress is upcoming and will soon give the Paramount, Bal, and Fox theaters a run for their money(this is a smaller venue but cozy like the old Circle Start theater on the peninsula years ago.)

What a joke. Supposed to be a concert by Rose Royce but it was more like a local talent show that included three members of the group. There was no band, people were leaving shaking their heads. Never again if I can help it.

Great show on New Years. Low turn out made it an amazing night for those who showed. Like a giant private party. BUT-TAH and her gang were amazing. Even with strep throat she knocked it out. Beautiful venue. Our first visit, hopefully we will be going back over and over in the years to come.

Beautiful, historic theater. Great sound system, lights, and stage for music performances, although might be a bit loud. The seats and legroom are kind of small, but cushion-y. There's a lot across the street or nearby street parking available.
