We have all the information of real people who purchase the products of Dolby Theatre (Movie Theater) around California area.
At the moment this business has a score of 4.5 over 5 and this score was based on 2118 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is virtually the best one, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the score is very credible. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater is included in the category of Performing arts theater.
Great place to see a fantastic show
I went here for the Park and Rec 10th Anniversary at Paley Fest. It's my second time coming here for Paley Fest amd it's about what you would expect. Many levels, overpriced drinks and snacks, bit definitely a great experience if you get a close enough seat!
Amazing venture for any type of concert
Fab tour. Well worth the $25. Got to see whole theatre, go on the actual stage. Sit in the audience chairs. View from a box and back stage. Plenty of info and a run through of exactly what happens on oscar night. Really enjoyed this tour.
Nice venue, but not much to do at the venue itself.
We rent to a N America's Got Talent The theater is not setup for good viewing of this kind of show. We were in the first balcony unit was hard to see any of the screens
Parking Assistance Can Definitely Use Some Training During Big Events! Other Then That Great Place For Entertainment!
Great venue, every seat has a nice view
All seats are pretty nice, but will sit a little closer in the future. Theater located in the heart of Hollywood. I left my car parked and caught a Lyft to El Coyote for dinner.
I went there for a concert, and I was in the last floor (it was the cheapest one). The sound was awkward over there, I’ll never try there again.
Kind of a maze-inside-of-a-maze at this giant outdoor mall complex, but the theater itself is fantastic. Be forewarned that the upper levels are very steep, so if you are scared of heights this may not be the best section for you. The acoustics are very good, as you might expect for a theater name Dolby and it's a beautiful place overall. The concession stands and bars are well-stocked and staffed.
Attended a Jeunesse event there. Well situated for entertainment and eating between sessions. One of the best meeting place I have attended.
Great show and pleasantly surprised at the beautiful venue!
The tour was interesting but is very high level. Doesn’t go into “this is how we do the things we do”.
Just saw the KH World of Tres concert. It was amazing!!! The theatre was so nice and the seating was great!
Have been to three concerts at this theater. Beautiful space, nice staff and a great experience.
THE PALEY FESTIVAL IN WHICH ME AND MY SON LOVED.
A great experience and a phenomenal venue! We were in attendance for paleyfest and the discussion was both informative and made the audience consider a range of topics.
Very nice theatre. Nicely located. Mezanine 3 is very very high up. I will not be sitting in that section again
One of the finest places on earth to watch a concert. Very intimate and absolutely a beautiful theater.
Classy and beautiful venue with good sound and lighting. It's too large (and fancy) for my tastes in a concert experience, but for what it is it's nice quality. I'm still trying to deny that I'm getting old enough to prefer to sit at a show than hold my ground on my feet in front of the stage, but I have to admit these seats were a nice change.
Seats are a little tight, getting out can be tough. The parking is kinda nice since it lets you out right there to everything.
Shen yun show great, theatre so amazingly comfortable and beautiful. This is just a fun day/ evening. The craftmanship is awesome.
Very nice theater! I saw Paw Patrol Live from the top seats and it felt intimate.
enter here, the story is very interesting, I recommend (cost $ 25 / person).
Awesome place! Iwas so happy to visit it. Will be back with my hubby
This was a great little venture. It only takes 30 minutes and it's worth taking. You get a ton of background on what happens behind the scenes at the Oscars. For example, they keep 125 men and 125 women dressed up in gowns and tuxedos and when someone leaves to go to the restroom, these fill-ins take their seats temporarily so when the cameras pan the audience, it always looks like a full house! You'll also hear how the stars get ready, how their rooms are prepped, where they go after winning an award, etc. You get to follow in their footsteps from standing center stage looking at the theater seats, to going down the very elevator they ride into the bowls of the building. You'll see an actual Oscar covered in gold in the VIP lounge and see a video showing how they are made. If you're already looking at the stars on the the sidewalks, then you should take the half hour and do this tour of the Dolby Theater.
Always a great place for dinner and a show. Parking sucks but that's Hollywood.
So excited visiting the Academy Awards place!
It was a great experience!
The tour is only about 30 minutes and is really an empty theater....but...the one for the Oscars. You see where the red carpet will be, then into the main theater, sit in the seats, go on stage, and follow the route that winners go to meet the press after their win.If you love movies and watch the Oscars...this is great. Otherwise, it is just a very large, well designed theater.
Nice place,amazing theatre for concert

what a gem that venue is amazing and it's surrounded by so many shops and restaurants that's a bonus in my book.

The Dolby hosted Tyler Perry's Medeas Farewell tour play. I tried very hard to not have reservation of it not doing well. I'm so glad I went as I was

Nice place,amazing theatre for concert
Do not miss to see once....setup is amazing
First time at Dolby to see an event. The seats were comfortable and the view was great...
Saw the Lion King premiere, sound and picture quality was excellent!
Great tour! It takes you behind the scenes at Oscar night! I recommend!
Awesome show. Streetlight manifesto
A magical place! So inspired by this location...
Nice sounds, seats feel like you can fall off...no railing
The ballet was a master piece I love the presentation,
Great costumer service, very helpful and in finding our seats. Beautiful theater, quality and experience. Very well handled and enjoyable.
Love the seating. Huge screen... nice and clean and the Popcorn was amazing.
Was here for the first time to see Madea's farewell. Theater is beautiful. We were on floor 4 seating and real happy with the view.
loved the kingdom hearts orchestra! beautiful stage
The Venue is beautiful. However Assistants are needed to help find your vehicles, lol. We took a photo of our space and finally found it after twenty minutes!
It was great to see America’s Got Talent there. Plenty of eateries and shopping.
For those who may not be aware, the Dolby Theatre is the primary theatre used for the Academy Awards for over a decade. The Hollywood/Highland Plaza - in which the theatre resides - has become much dirtier than in years past and I feel that this theatre doesn't compare to the glamour, sophistication, and tradition that the other main theatres in Los Angeles hold. With this in mind, I can say that the theatre is nice, but would not place this on any top lists.
Well organized check in process and friendly employees. Great experience. Can't wait to do more like this.
This is were AGT is filmed
The sound here is very good but the prices of everything else suck.
It's a gorgeous theatre with excellent service and a legacy. Glad to have gone there for the first time in my life for a beautiful concert! Definitely wish the seats were bigger tho :-(
Dolby Theatre is a huge place for enjoyment. We enjoyed our visit here and to see the famous Dolby Theatre is such a great experience. We will definitely visit again.
Excellent tour experience. We actually got to sit in on a rehearsal for America's Got Talent, so awesome. Our tour guide was excited and knowledgable, need more guides like him. The only thing that could have made it better was allowing tour guests to do a photo op with the Oscar statue. Warner Bros experimented with that idea during their tour and I got a chance to hold it and take a photo. I think they stopped it though because they are always changing their tours. This tour is only about 30 minutes but its worth it. Highly recommend!
Eddie Izzard packed the house 3 nights in a row, and we were lucky to score seats. Nice venue, but be warned- the balcony seats make you feel like you're on the edge of a cliff.
Invitation season ticket holders' open house to celebrate new Pantages/Dolby 2019-2020 theatre season. Festive atmosphere with refreshments and goodies bag.
Great venue. Very cozy. Pretty much good seats everywhere
Worth it 20$ paid. Try to us go pass its very convenient. Kodak theater is huge and full of stories. Its a guided tour so it lasts around 30 minutes. Best place in hollywood to visit so far
Saw Sarah Brightman!, Fantastic, Have Oscars here.
Home of the Oscars. Such a shame we didn’t have time to take the guided tour (they have paid guided tours). Very crowded outside, so better watch out.
I thoroughly enjoyed it Vote for Detroit Youth Choir on Americas GOT Talent season 14!
Amazing experience for the oscar
America's Got Talent Show is so far amazing! Beautiful lighting and effects!
Great venue. Anywhere you sit is excellent. Mezzanine seats are pretty awesome as well as the sound. If you choose to park. You may want to valet. Also, there isn't validation for concerts so yeah $18 Dollars goodbye.
Great night!! Great drinks not watered down like other places
The staff was amazing from the door, through the bar, and all the way to our seats; everything was clean, it's a great place to enjoy a concert.
Beautiful theatre where Oscars being held
Beautiful Theatre. The Oscars have been given out here for many years and everything is all about Oscars at this theatre. The tour is only about 30 minutes..
Had a great time here for the Paleyfest presentation of The Walking Dead. The parking was easy to find and easy to navigate through with plenty of spots available. The only downside to the parking situation are the rates and the validation system. We kept seeing these kiosks with no instructions on the process or advice about validation tickets. I stopped and bought some coffee and got our parking validated. The lady handed me a ticket to put into the machine. Without clear instructions, I assumed I would insert my ticket and then the validation and then pay. That didn't work, neither did the other way, so I just paid assuming that was going to be my only opportunity to do so. Not the case there was a machine with a parking attendant waiting at the exit. When in doubt, just wait to pay at the exit... The theater was gorgeous and it was so cool to sit where so many stars have sat during the academy awards. It does have a historical feel to it for sure.
Went to see Tyler Perry and had a great time with family. Theater is beautiful.
Saw the Lion King premiere, sound and picture quality was excellent!
Great tour! It takes you behind the scenes at Oscar night! I recommend!
Awesome show. Streetlight manifesto
The Tyler Perry play was awesome! The seats are uncomfortable and small space. No leg room if you want to stretch out your legs.
A magical place! So inspired by this location...

Up those stairs to be met with a hefty 12 dollar charge for admission to an empty theatre
Great venue. Very cozy. Pretty much good seats everywhere

Went to see Tyler Perry and had a great time with family. Theater is beautiful.
Loved Tyler Perry's play. The seats were really close and the exit plan needs some revision. Parking as well. It took 45 minutes to get out of the theatre to the parking structure. Then 25 minutes the get out of the parking garage. The escalators were broken before and after the play. Very crowded.
The theater was great very clean
Very nice. Loved Izzard even though his views are not mine. Very entertaining. That is what he's good at.
We had an excellent tour guide for our tour of the Kodak Theater which certainly enhanced the whole experience. We were thrilled to know this is the venue for Oscars. A day well spent!
Everybody wants an Oscar, perhaps going here is a start!
Beautiful building . I remember it like Kodak theatre on my visit. But nowadays could be my mother..... theatre if there's enough money to cover that kind of performance. If you prefer call it art or whatever. The boulevard around is full of hilarious people trying to fulfil their empty lives with outdated dreams
Love this theatre. Handicap accessible. Every seat visible to the stage.
Great my only complaint is they sell liquor at a children's event not cool to drink and smoke at paw patrol
Was so nice hearing and seeing the cast of Grace and Frankie. What wonderful people. Lots of laughter.
I expected more exciting tour, with some rumors, gossip etc. Instead it was just set of information.
Better than I expected. Acoustics are great. Relatively easy to get in and out even with the crowds. Parking is a reasonable cost and they have attendants to manage the flow.
I had so much fun with my daughter even though i was sick. We laughed and sang along with Madea. This was our first time seeing a play live and I can't wait to go back. The theater is really nice too.
Inhouse guide excellent.
Absolutely gorgeous! And the staff was very friendly and helpful. The event was well organized and the theater was so clean.
We were thrilled when our local guide told on the tour of Dolby theater that this is the venue of the Oscars every year and red carpet is laid here for the celebrities. We didn't actually see the theater from inside but saw the whole building. There are shops and restaurants in the building. From the second floor bridge of the building you can see the famous sign of Hollywood on the hills. Also we saw the names of the movies which has won the Oscars and their year, written on the panels of pillars of the entrance lobby. And felt proud to find the name of movie "Gandhi" in which our father of nation Mahatma Gandhi's life is portrayed.
Classic place with aura and style. I liked the monuments and signing for award winners trough the years. Shopping center as well. Rest rooms first floor.
Beautiful amotspehere, traffic leaving was horrible however, the experience being there was like a dream.
Didn't get chance to see the Oscars live, but it was interesting place for a stroll and an opportunity to check out the great film's I've seen and the ones I've missed, gave me idea... what I can do in my spare time now. When there is no show, it's a dull place with tourists just passing by, been there, seen it.
Great place to eat and shop.
We bought tickets to go into the theater. It's a big fun to go into the theater. You can feel the oscar night. Otherwise nothing to see outside. It's just a shopping mall outside.
Good acoustics and nice venue
Nice Theatre in the city centre. Walking on Hollywood Blvd and Chinese Theatre.
Everything was perfect except the parking. The elevator going to the parking structure was a joke. It took us over an hour to get out of there. Tyler Perry play was amazing
It is a nice good size theater. We sat in the mezzanine level and had a pretty good view of the show. The lobby has a bar. I didn't buy anything so not sure if they only offer drinks or if some snacks are offered also. We were there for the Nick Jr. Dance Party tour and it was fun for everyone. I would go see a show here again.
It's pretty awesome being able to watch Korean movies at a theater. I've been there twice this week, and both movies were great. Seats are clean, captions on every movie are convenient, and even the food is better than most theaters. Obviously, the whole theater is full of Koreans, so be ready for that and everything it brings.
It was cool, I took my kids to see Nick Jr Live so of course we had a good time. We parked pretty close it was valet parking and cost $18. There were bathrooms on each floor. My only wish is that the seats were at more of an incline/decline I'm short and so are my children so when taller people sit in front of you, ya gotta lean over to see the stage.
I think every seat has a great view and sound of the stage. I had the artisanal plate with grapes, dried fruit, nuts, cheeses, and crackers and enjoyed it. I was sad I couldn't bring it into the theater itself.
The AC is amazing
Great experience in the live filming of America Got Talent show. Fun, good laugh, and excitement.
Very memorable. Not many people go at noon. Popular movies are often shown and tickets are not expensive.
We only see the hall. You can see all of best movies from all times written in the columns.
Amazing place full of details and atractions!! A must have to visit if you are in L.A.
Did 30-minute guided tour where more details on Oscar Ceremony are introduced.
Eddie izzard show. Super awesome
We had an excellent tour guide for our tour of the Kodak Theatre which certainly enhanced the whole experience. Unfortunately due to the construction of the new Cirque set we couldn't see a great deal of the theatre, however the tour as a whole was definitely worthwhile; it was fascinating to learn about the Awards themselves. Overall the tour was enjoyable and the perfect length considering all the attractions in Hollywood.
Loved watching Americas Got Talent. Seats could have been better, as they have been in the recent past. My brother in law is in a wheelchair and although we were put in a wheelchair accessible spot, he was unable to view the show. We'll hope for better seating next time.
Love the seating! Everything is clean and organized! Would love to come again! Go for your experience
Beautiful theater! Loved it
Its absolutely beautiful on the inside
Does not valid parking. Has a great First Aid staff.
Seen Tyler Perry's last play. Performance was great. Should have been told that we could pay parking on the way out instead of waiting in those long lines at the kiosk.
We came for the Tyler Perry play and we had so much fun. I enjoyed bringing my family to the Dolby Theater

I love how convenient the parking is from the location. Also there are many things to do while you wait for the show and after. There are many restaurants in the same locations and nearby.
Be careful of someone selling your hip-hop album!!
The Dolby Movie Theatre is a live-performance auditorium in the Hollywood and Highland Center shopping mall and entertainment complex, on Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue, in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. Wikipedia thanks for reading this
I've been coming to Dolby Theatre for the Asian Pacific Film Festival that is currently running. The facility itself is clean. The seats are big and roomy but not cozy. Popcorn is always a must whenever I step into a theater, so I purchased a medium popcorn. $6.50 for not so fresh popcorn. Dolby Theatre is conveniently located near the Metro Purple Station. Your exit would be Wilshire/Western.
Beautiful theatre and lovely tour guide. Must be quite something the night of the golden globe awards!
A beautiful place. We were very impressed.
Nice place for all tourist to get the tour. It is worth every penny.
I Love going here the seating is good and shows are always good
Awesome experience. Amazing. Must visit when in Hollywood Blvd. I propose for tour. We had booked tickets prior. It was around 30 minutes tour. There was a attendant to give us information. He was explanatory. He showed us , where Oscar Nominees sits, where they wait, where actual ceremony is conducted. Elevator can be used within tour. In one room, we got chance to take a picture with real 'Oscar Trophy'. How Oscar Trophy are made is shown in one presentation. It is a privilege. We were lucky to see 'Americas Got Talent ' live audition. Huge stage. Mike, Camera and Action. Awesome. We never know it before that we could see it live. It is famous reality show across the globe. Photography is prevented in specific rooms. Of course you can take picture on Red Carpet. Wonderful. At the end, he handed us a photo copy of Dolby Theater (inside view) as a gift.
Fantastic theater architecture.
The tour is only about 30 minutes and is really an empty theater....but...the one for the Oscars. You see where the red carpet will be, then into the main theater, sit in the seats, go on stage, and follow the route that winners go to meet the press after their win. If you love movies and watch the Oscars...this is great. Otherwise, it is just a very large, well designed theater.
Very nice place to visit. The organized tour is totally worth every penny if you have always thought about the Oscars and the place where it all happens. Tour guide has good knowledge about the place and the academy awards.
The Theater: Beautiful & classy theater. That is where they do the Oscar. Huge theater, lots of seating. Unfortunately, no big screen TV in the theater, therefore, if you are sitting at the mezzanine, you might have hard time seeing the performers on the stage. Total 5 floors in the theater and yes they do have elevators. There are bars at every level, however, they do need more bartenders because almost every floor has long line waiting. Unfortunately, they can't handle all the people during intermission. The Service: All the staffs are very friendly & professional. The Parking: Hollywood & Highland parking structure. Unfortunately, the theater doesn't validate the parking. However, if you dine at any of the restaurants, they can validate the parking for you. Or I just go to Starbucks and get a coffee, they are more than happy to validate the parking too.
It's so weird to get into and the seating is so compact. The closer you are to the stage, the less you can see because of taller humans blocking your vision with the lack of stadium seating. God forbid you're wearing a gown...
It's just amazing there, loved it
Clean. Smells fresh. Not too packed with little kids... but best of all the caramel popcorn is to die for! Love it!
Fantastic venue. Wonderful staff. Bright. Clean. Well maintained. A must see in Hollywood.
very big venue, good area to do some sight seeing!
It was one of the most exciting momentd of my life, entering the theater and seeeing its greatness. Really recommend the tour!
Beautiful venue right on the walk of fame. Parking was $17 which is not terrible at all considering the location
It was just for an orientation. Most of Theatre closed off. What I saw was nice!
Very nice tour of the theatre and VIP room. Things are usually not what it seems. Great experience here! A lot less people during weekdays and you can purchase your ticket downstairs.
The show was terrific. Only complaint was seeing around people's heads. Great show though.
Must see it. When we went it was crowded but really a nice place
I visited AGT semifinal here.. live.. It was worth watching. Enjoyed my time there.
A great night s Celebrating the legends that are Black Sabbath and their Grammy Award
Great venue that's large but feels cozy.
We came to the Dolby Theatre to see the Tyler Perry Farewell play. The seats were nice and comfortable and the theatre was a nice size. The parking isn't the greatest but there are all kinds of shops and restaurants located around the theatre. I would recommend.
Every bit the classy place that is worthy of a red carpet. Taking pictures on the red staircase made my girl and I feel like celebs for a second. It has a really classy atmosphere, and it seemed to encourage dreaming.
Very tall theater, lots of mezzanines, fairly obstructive overhangs and as you can see from the attached picture, pretty small presence if you're seeing individuals on stage. Seats are rather uncomfortable, rows are rather close together so everybody in the row has to stand up if anybody wants to leave quite often. Parking is expensive, and if the theater was full it will take you forever to get out. Not terribly impressed!
Great fun. You get in on the photos !
Always an amazing experience to attend awards shows, film festivals and social events here. Great memories!
Omly stopped here for a restroom break on the second floor, towards the back. The men's room is filthy, one sink doesn't have a faucet and the handicap stall doesn't have a lock. Both water fountains outside the restrooms are broken. Maintenance needs to do their jobs!
Great atmosphere. Lots of parking great food places.
Really interesting, especially if you're a movie buff as it has so much to read on each pillar act there'll be a line from a movie, or the awards that particular movies have won. Definitely worth taking time out to read stuff, it's definitely not just 'that' staircase, it has so much more to offer!
Unique place, a must visit is the tour..
The first floor seating was fine but I had a chance to go the third floor and I wonder if people fall often from higher rows to lower ones because there is not much walking area and no railing to hold on to!
Can't believe it but we had never been to this theatre before. But going by our outstanding night we will definitely be looking for future events at this lovely theatre. I had a wonderful birthday. The staff (especially Alondrea) were fabulous and so helpful. Alondrea gave us some history and showed us around, she was haveon hand the whole time and such a lovely lady. Thank you Alondrea, you made our night wonderful. Carlin helped set us up and gave spot on directions to get us there. Steve was a great help and the bldg manager, Fab. Our son is disabled and had just been put on a feeding tube. Everyone was so accommodating in helping. our needs. They went above and beyond. Even was able to get a meet and greet to see Eddie Izzard (who we had gone there to see perform) he is one of our favorite comedians, funny and so talented. He was so nice and took pictures with us. This is a lovely theatre (classic) and I thought it was going to be difficult to park and get in (being Hollywood Blvd) but it wasn't. It was so easy to park in their structure and elevator takes you practically to the door. Close to restaurants and shops. If you have not been to this venue before, like us, you have missed out. Make it a plan and go. You won't be sorry. Thanks everyone at 'The Dolby', and we will see you again.
Wow, that's an honor to ve on stage where the Oscar awards Is held
