Great customer service great sitting area fantastic movie. My son and I look forward to this for a long time and it was nothing short of the best theater was clean easy access well-lit and give me popcorn at. I was able to drink my coffee I was very comfortable my seats my son had his kids pack even though he's 24 LOL we have fun we're going to do it again soon Summer's here and we're going to go to that theater again definitely.

Bathrooms at opposite end of theater... Need to walk to other side, say, for the men's... Otherwise alright. Good sound, decent theater. Front staff not personable, concessions staff great. Have candy selection like it's a Jelly Belly (don't know what I mean). Okay theater.

When my wife saw a show here and ended up being the only one in the theater, the projectionist yelled down do you want the show stopped when she got up to use the restroom. Good food, expensive like all of them. People are friendly.

The new purse rule 12x12x6 will only create a lot of angry customers. You want to search my bag I have no problem, but if you want to deny me entrance after buying a ticket I have a problem. Not to mention the rate of car break-ins will rise when thieves watch for a woman/man putting a bag/purse in their car.

An older, good multiscreen theater in need of an upgrade in terms of decor and seating. Excellent selection in terms of concessions (Dominos, Starbucks, Breyer's) but chronically understaffed. Very friendly staff. Well kept restrooms. Lots of parking in 2 available parking garages. At the edge of Del Monte Center, with good shopping and dining opportunities.

Its a wonderful thearter to go but the bag policy has got in to my nevers especially being yelled at in public by an angry asian lady, having no empathy of knowing that people bring their belongings that are important and that the ticket has been bought. If they have a policy why isn't there a sign for the public to know, not just being scolded like a child very disrespectful.

Best multiplex on the Peninsula... so many screens and the stadium seating prevents issues with having to crane around someone’s head to see the screen. I miss the gigantic screens of the old Cinema 70 from back in the day, but this is in keeping with the times and no one would be satisfied with the limited number of screens that old theater offered. Raid the ATM before you come (or not—obviously they take credit cards) because you’ll easily spend a chunk of money if you’re watching evening films, 3D films, or eating/drinking from the concession stands. Avid moviegoers should probably take advantage of the bargain options. Bring a jacket or a blanket if you’re prone to getting cold. It’s chilly in here!

Clean, comfortable seats. Only downside is 5he Male and female bathrooms are on opposite wings of the building, so if your movie is on the wrong side you have to cross the whole theatre to use it.

Cinemark Monterey nothing special, but that being said generally has convenient parking, show times that work for us and any snacks you could want! Plus no reserved seating in the "new" lounge chairs yet...

It was very clean and comfortable. The employees were very efficient and helpful. I was having trouble carrying my food and drinks. A very nice man carried everything to my seat.

The seats have been upgraded but the place is still a pigsty. You can go into a theater right after one of the "cleaning crews" goes in and still find a buffet's worth of food in seats, cupholders, and on the floor. Back to the seats- why would you get cozier seats but still make them share elbow space? Did you pick up on the idea that people are willing to pay more for better seats but not want to give up the thrill of cramming us in like sardines? Luckily it doesn't matter because most people apparently have the good sense to go to a theater that isn't a dumpster on the inside. According to my wife the women's bathroom floor is basically covered in a slimy layer of old urine, so that's a plus if that's what you're into. The rest of the building is also sticky, but I think that has something to do with there only being two bathrooms with each gender separated to a different wing of the building. In the left wing but you gotta go to the bathroom? Hope you're not a female or you're gonna have to walk all the way around the concession stands, brave your way across the sticky swamp carpets, and make it to the right wing with the female restrooms. Enjoy the fine ammonia finished floor. Decent screens and sound tho.

Older seats than most Cinemarks today, self-reclining (not motorized) not plush but comfortable. Couldn't reserve seats online through the App or the web site, had to go there to get advance tickets, but they did have reserved seats. Kids' tickets for our mid-week evening show were only $8.25 or something like that ($12.50 at our Cinemarks in the Bay Area).

I've been supporting and going to this theater since I was a kid. Truly love the location and the access to the theater from the mall or visa versa. Unfortunately my last visit was quite unpleasant. Bought two tickets for a current showing, and upon entering to be directed to where our movie is playing one of the employees abruptly stopped us, stating that no backpacks were allowed inside the theater. The interesting part is, is that the backpack my boyfriend was wearing was a small to medium size and only had minimal items. The theater refused to let us watch our movie, unless we put our backpack back in our vehicle. The worst thing was, is that we rode to the theater on a motorcycle so there was no safe place to put our bag. We politely asked if they would be willing to keep our bag behind the counter, and we even told them that we were more than willing to let them search it. However, they wouldn't have it. As we were discussing our issue of not having a vehicle to put our bag in, several people mainly women with large purses were being allowed into the theater without any issue. Even though a handful of people with purses were much larger than the one we had. After all ours was a small moutain biking camelback. It was just unfortunate that we weren't informed on this before already purchasing our tickets. And it's quite a bummer that the theater does not offer any solution to mitigate the "bag issue" at hand. A suggestion would be to installing lockers to put larger scaled bags inside, or just searching everyone who has a bag with them? Interestingly enough, we had gone to the same theater just a month before this visit, with the same exact backpack and we had any issues whatsoever.... Will not be visiting this theater again. Their rules are biased and quite unfair. Monterey 13 needs to fix their policies to accommodate everyone.

It's your usual cinemark theater. It's clean and if all you care is to watch a movie, it's good enough. Ticketing is on the outside and once you go in it's the concessions with a few tables and chairs. We were on theater 13 and that's big but I'm not sure if that's XD but that side only have women's restrooms and 2 single unisex restrooms.

This place is just fine. Same too expensive popcorn and soda. It seemed like they were mostly concerned with signing everyone in line up for their loyalty program than selling tickets. One guy at the desk and the line got really long. I got there early and barely made it in before it started. It was fairly clean and comfortable.

Wrong Phone. the girls in the front rechecked with manager, in the meantime my phone was turned in. they were great, sincerely caring. They found it in the dark, I have a black case. It doesn't out-perform or do any worse than your average movie theater. The seats are relatively comfortable, ticket and snack prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. Best thing to do is go earlier in the day to skip the crowds, and if you are going to be watching a showing that you expect to be crowded and want to get snacks, plan on arriving 15 minutes before the official movie start time. Otherwise trailers and ads usually take 18 after the official start time.

Although there is some congestion during prime times at the concession stand, they don't have all cashier lines open. The theater offers electronic ticket scanning from Fandango, so you can purchase tickets at home and skip the box office. There is a Cinemark rewards program, so download the app before you go and make sure you tell them--they won't ask. The theaters and screens are nice, although at one point in our movie, an overhead light came on and stayed on for about 5 minutes for no reason. After the movie, exits from parking were inexplicably blocked, increasing traffic and frustration. Overall, good but not great.

Theatre good. Concession good. Prices high. The people are not helpful. Example..you have to use your phone to get rewards. If you forget no one asks you. Same for concession.. I go quite a bit but never get anything.

Always enjoy attending movies at this theater. Lots of seating and great snack-bar. Very competitive pricing. A bargain compared to many other theaters. Layout of restroom facilities is a bit of a puzzle with mens and womens on opposite sides of building.

Such a strange set up for concession stands everything is seperate yet you cant purchase anything separately you have to go to one of two sides but typically only one side is open. Despite the side you end up on the odds of someone in your party having to walk to the opposite side of the lobby are high because the mens and womens bathrooms are on opposite sides and your movie is on one side or the other. Ive been here many times and every time I feel like I'm going out of my way to do normal movie theatre actions. The staff is hit and miss some are awesome, make me laugh, and feel very welcome while others seem unable to handle guest intetaction when a concern arrises.

It's our go-to place for the movies. We had popcorn, coke. Lots of butter (a treat), the coke was syrupy not watery. The theater was comfortable, no lines, temperature was cozy, people were polite and orderly. Sound perfect, not too loud, not too quiet. We'll be back!

Nice set of theaters clean well maintained. Prices are reasonable as is the arrangement for a matinee. This election is good and they trying not to drag out films on long runs in order to accommodate a greater variety. Cinemark is a chain establishment, and provides a consistent experience. The facility was clean and we'll staffed. The entertainment options for movies were up-to-date. The non movie entertainment was a little lacking as there is no arcade or bar at this location. However as a customer my experience was pleasent.
