No seats ever available except for first row. This is especially so if you have movie pass which has become worthless. Dont buy movie pass and dont bother coming here unless you want to sit in the first row and not be able to see the screen. Movie pass is the worse rip off!

The XD experience is sooo worth it. When a particularly loud or tense scene comes on the seats will rumble with the sound system and its such an immersive experience. I would suggest sitting a row or two back though so you dont have to look up.

This is my favotite place to see movies in the area. Big comfy reserved seating. Friendly staff and its clean. Its in an outdoor mall which has a variety of restaurants, most times you can park in the shade.

The seats are great but I waited 40 mins to get my food I ordered. I asked several times if my food was ready and all I got was it’s still cooking. It was chicken tenders not prime rib. I talked to the manager and she was no help at all. There was one employee who apologized and offered to bring it to my seat when it was ready. I wish I would’ve gotten her name. She could teach her fellow employees good customer service..... including the manager. I will take my family to another movie theater from now on.

Wow, not surprised people have issues with the food service. I waited for 25+ minutes for a hot dog that was already cooking. I asked someone at the register to get it for me as is, and he said he didn't have the proper equipment. Yet he was helping people, what would he have done if someone asked for the same. I talked to the ticket manager about me waiting for the hotdog and she said since it was cash I have to wait at concessions, understandable. I ended up going getting a refund for the hotdog. I went to my seat and realized I missed 20 minutes of the movie, to which I then went to get a refund on my ticket. I told the manager how i missed due to waiting for the hotdog and would like a refund on my ticket. i went back to start eating my wings (that I did get on time) and was then asked to show my ticket. The usher then came back and escorted me out of the theatre. Apparently I can't get a refund and finish the movie. So now I'm really upset. I go to the front and the manager says I'm unable to re-enter once I received a refund. I asked if I'm not entitled to finish the movie after what happened. It isn't just the movie or food, I was there with a friend and now what are they supposed to do. My friend came shortly after and they apparently wanted to listen to her. I went to ask the manager if I can get a refund on all my food order and she begins to say how she's sorry and didn't know the whole situation (my friend enlightened her). How did she not know when I had told her before refunding the hotdog and when I refunded my ticket. She knew. I'm so upset with the handling of the situation. Lost a loyal movie club member thanks to one horrible experience.

Reclining seats are way smaller than the ones in La quinta! I'm not a big woman either.. But usually I can sit in the chair, with my purse next to me.. I had to keep it in my lap! Saw the new jurassic movie.. The sound sucked! The worst part of all. Had a couple next to me on their cells every few minutes. The end of the movie, lights went up.. Looked at them.. "Try to be courteous to people around you with your cells". They looked at me.. Walked away.. Sad something under their breath! I will never go back there!

We got to the theaters approx. 45 minutes early for the very first showing of a movie on the Sunday after Christmas. The east entrance was closed. The south entrance had a door open and we opened it and were told that we couldn't come in until 15 minutes before the movie started. We were puzzled but okay with that so we waited. Another employee came to the door several minutes later and said "We open at 10:30am". He then locked the door. At 10:30am, the door still wasn't unlocked and we looked in and found that they had opened the doors on the East entrance and let approx. 35 people into the theater and never unlocked the door we were waiting at. We knew we didn't have much time to get our tickets, buy our concessions AND get inside and seated so we were disappointed that we were the first people at the theater but ended up being the 40th people in line with only ONE clerk selling tickets. Since it was the same employee who opened the one door to tell us about the theater hours, we mentioned that we were disappointed that he failed to mention that we should be in line at the OTHER door. We were given a half hearted apology. Unfortunately, in this day and age, many people aren't as aware and don't pay attention to who should be served next because they have waited the longest. At least at Rancho 16 Regal Theaters, they have addressed this problem with finesse. It sure would be nice for others to do so as well.

I had a very bad racism experience at this place... I was here on Monday May 7,2018 & went back on Tuesday May 15,2018. As you can see Im an Hispanic person but who cares Im a human right...? The manager took us out of the movie just because an old man that was sitting next to us didnt agree with us on having our daughter on that movie (breaking in). Atleast that's what he said but his actions spoke something else... After i walked out of the movie he didnt wanna give us a refund. Then, i had to urge with him just to give a refund. I had never argued with no one before but this was very sad ... Well, he did what the other guy told him but he couldn't do what i told him to do i was a costumer too but yea i guess it didn't matter .. Hmmm not even fair right? At the end I got my refund but he sended one of the employees & he apologize. I could see on his face how embarrased he was but i guess that was his job at the moment. The manager was good to take us out but couldnt even apologize?? Wow..... ❌Worst thing is that he looked hispanic too

Great movie theater, reclining comfortable seats, big screens & friendly staff. For that level of comfort ticket pricing is very good. As per October 2019 Seniors Day is all day Monday $7.50 (Seniors 62+). The rest of the week days ticket price for seniors is $8.75 Additionally, General Admission for Matinee Mon-Fri before 6pm, Sat, Sun & Holidays before 2:00 pm is $9.75 All Early Bird Matinees before 1:00 pm are $7 There is a Discount Tuesday $6.25 but ONLY for members. My only complain is that the Closed Caption device is kind of heavy and does not fit properly in the armrest case, it kept falling off no matter how much I tried.

They apparently have a policy they strictly enforce. Was a warm day so I arrived to my movie early. Certainly wanting to take advantage of the comfortable chairs and the A/C. Arriving 45 minutes before I was told I had to wait at least 30, or 25 minutes before, depending on who I asked which time. I approached the ticket checker again at 32 minutes before the showing to be told I was still too early. I confirmed if he wanted to let a few minutes stand in the way of me having a good experience or a bad experience, and of course he would rather disappoint a customer than accommodate a rather minor request. Brian W is his name and he seems to posess both vaccuous customer service and inferior intelligence. Pretty simple job and a simple request but the very basics of customer appreciation I'll use him. This will be the last time I visit this theatre, the regal in Palm Springs has never disrespected me in this way for an early arrival.

I will forever come here or another Cinemark that has XD. Seats are very comfy being automatic luxury loungers with excellent foot room. And the seating is staggered- the closest people are to you behind or in front is between 10-12 feet lengthwise and about 3 feet heightwise. Prices are little higher but for the seats and a wall to wall screen- I say its totally worth it. 5 stars well earned.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise said in November of 2001 that Krikorian Theatres was to open 12 screens at The River Complex, Rancho Mirage on December 5. In July of 2002 the Press-Enterprise announced that Century Theatres would be taking over operation of the complex on July 26 and would remain open during the transition. The River was built as an upscale shopping, dining and entertainment destination and named The River because the J.H. Snyder Company, its developer, built it with waterfalls and streams flowing among rocks throughout the center. The Press-Enterprise said that would be 1.7 million gallons of water. Jerry Snyder said the River would use no more water annually than if it was planted with grass and to gain approval from the Coachella Valley Water District, his company had to build a 1 million-gallon water tank. Went to see Avengers Endgame. Enjoyed the comfortable seats and clean theater. Great staff. I am thankful they have closed caption for the hearing impaired. It allowed me to enjoy the movie and understand everything that was happening, without disturbing other guests.

I haven't had any problems with the staff but it is one of the nicest theaters here in the valley it has character but what I really wished it had.. better comfortable seats that actually recline and adjust and lock in place and not useing your own Wight and keeping it steady by putting your feet behind the head of the person sitting in front of you... And another idea for a foot rest install one in the back of the chairs that swing out also with locking adjustments to a comfortable length for the visitors

I love coming to this theater, the reclining seats are awesome and I hardly ever have issues with over crowding or getting a good seat. For block busters, I would advise you purchase your tickets online and early so you can get the seating you choose. The only down sides are parking is ridiculous and the food (which is just barely ok) can take a long time. (Stick with popcorn and hot dogs)

I go here very frequently. From the minute you open the front door this place is a dirty filthy mess every single time you come to the movies. I don't think the place has been cleaned and 3 years the carpet is absolutely filthy and that's before you add everything that's on top of that period yesterday I was in a movie and 10 people were texting throughout the movie not one person that works at the theater was in that Room to monitor the texting and the talking which is frequently done in theaters especially in the 1st 10 minutes of a movie to make sure people who put things done. I have been to this movie theater 5 times in the last month and every time it is the same dirty filthy mess With no oversight the reason we go there is because there are very good places to eat and coordinate and evening I hope they can get their act together because there happened to be some better movie theaters within 3 miles now.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise said in November of 2001 that Krikorian Theatres was to open 12 screens at The River Complex, Rancho Mirage on December 5. In July of 2002 the Press-Enterprise announced that Century Theatres would be taking over operation of the complex on July 26 and would remain open during the transition. The River was built as an upscale shopping, dining and entertainment destination and named The River because the J.H. Snyder Company, its developer, built it with waterfalls and streams flowing among rocks throughout the center. The Press-Enterprise said that would be 1.7 million gallons of water. Jerry Snyder said the River would use no more water annually than if it was planted with grass and to gain approval from the Coachella Valley Water District, his company had to build a 1 million-gallon water tank. I love coming to this theater, the reclining seats are awesome and I hardly ever have issues with over crowding or getting a good seat. For block busters, I would advise you purchase your tickets online and early so you can get the seating you choose. The only down sides are parking is ridiculous and the food (which is just barely ok) can take a long time. (Stick with popcorn and hot dogs)

Terrible movie experience. The place is very poorly managed. The week between Christmas and new years is always very busy. Too bad management hasn't got a clue about this. The lines at the snack bar were terrible. Very greatly understaffed. Our "server" displayed absolutely no sense of urgency as time ticked by. Hey, Cinemark, you run the schedule and know when crowds will arrive. Plan accordingly! Actually, I don't care if you fix it or not. I won't be back. We were left with the final impression in the ladies' room, which smelled like an outhouse...

I really enjoy Century/Cinemark theatres and the Rancho Mirage theater is the biggest in the area. However the recliners need updating here, the cushions are worn out and the buttons are really sensitive and can cause the recliner to move during the movie.

Fancy seats weren't impressive to me. The "pick your seat" assignments are bogus as there've always only been 30%, or so, actually fill in the seats that the box office ticket person shows is there are. Their seating assignments/pick your seats make no sense.
