Great theater, with many movie choices, and it's immaculately kept, but I had given it only three stars, because the sound in our auditorium was way too loud...we were seated approximately mid point. Originally believed it was the previews only, to get more attention, but the main feature was incredibly loud, as well. When we informed a staff member about it, he said he would advise management. Nothing ever happened...they need to start handing out foam ear plugs, to help save everyone's hearing.

This theater is lovely. I would only change the concession setup. The ordering line runs slow compared to other theaters. The theater rooms are very cozy and are among the best. This is currently my favorite movie theater.

They have the new upgraded seats! Plushy and they recline. You can get the 8.99 monthly movie pass and save a lot. I went to see Black Clansman with two others and because members have discount days and it was a discount day my ticket was free and my companion's tickets were only $5.99 each. We ended up spending $12 for three people to go to the movies.

Other then it being a Saturday and there were only one staff at the ticket booth, the other still was good. Service was great, and clean, bathroom was clean and stocked. Food of course is over priced, but it's whatever. (Eat before going to the movies guys..)

The theater itself & different screens are all nice. Unfortunately if you need to use the Men's room the smell inside is horrible. I drain has this horrible stench that releases into the men's room, so hold your breath, do what you got to do & get out! Overall nice location.

Theaters are always very clean and they always have great movies on like any other theater all the snacks and drinks are little costly but theaters kept up well with great movies and they have many times for selecting throughout the day so that you're able to go see it on your schedule

Great reclining seats, wide aisles, Discount Tuesdays $5.75 tickets, they need a new manager. The "manager" walked by a flooded ladies room, a men's room with paper towels overflowing the trash receptacles, and trash and popcorn spilled everywhere. When I asked him about it instead of being proactive he made excuses - pompous, arrogant, ill-mannered - retrain or replace. The Veranda in Concord is a superior experience for $6.00 on Tuesdays.

Standard chain movie theater. Clean and pleasant staff. The snack line can be long and congested. Could use more people helping and checking to move line faster. Nice recliner seats and if you buy your tickets online get to pick your seats early. Downside is ticket convenience fee. Plenty to eat and do in the area. Watch for parking in old Albertsons lot. Can be ticketed. Parking can and is a hassle.

I understand very much that this location is going through a remodel currently. Several theaters are currently down. The issue I had was not due to this but the fact that the service was absolutely terrible. There was a substantial line for the poor lone soul running the check out for concessions. The manager, and the rest of the staff with the exception of the lone cashier were all standing around behind the counter watching customers walk through the self service area. I will actively go out of my way to prevent going back to this location.

I just saw Hustlers today and what a good movie. This theatre is so centrally located. Easy on / off the freeway. Lots of restaurants around. Easy for friends to meet you there and they have Senior rates. The seats recline so they are very comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. Popcorn and Kettle corn are always fresh. Enjoy!

This theater is usually very nice, however, my friend and I went to see a 4:50 showing on Monday, August 6th and the woman/girl working at the left window was very rude. My friend and I were seeing an R rated film. My friend is 19 and I’m 17. In fact, she was probably older than this worker. My friend did not have an ID, as she does not drive, and we explained this employee we were both at the proper age, one of us being a full adult. But this employee was repeatedly persisting for an ID with a tone that showed absolutely no human emotion whatsoever. One should not need an ID that they are not required to possess to view a film they are legally guaranteed the right to see. Other people who were even the slightest older purchased the same tickets without question. She was inept in dealing with people altogether. This was some of the most abysmally disrespectful services I have ever had the displeasure of receiving. Overall, it wasted our evening, as it was a lengthy drive (the movie was in select theaters), and solely because of this service we will not be returning to this theater. One star exclusively because se if this employee.

It's a great theater. All seats been upgraded to lounger chair very comfortable. Although the upgraded food choices is just pizza hut but at least they're trying to improve. My number one choice for movies aside from fact I live close to it hahaha

Century 16 in Pleasant Hill is a clean well kept theater including the restrooms. The seats are very comfortable, adjustable, recliners. If you purchase your tickets online you can pick the ones you want. There's a good selection of candy, soft drinks, popcorn, do nachos, hot dogs, and ice-cream. This is a nice venue for movies

I always go to this movie theater for movie dates because the arm rests come up so you and your date can lay together. The seats themselves are very comfortable. I recommend going here whenever you want to see a new movie.

One of the nicer theaters in the Bay Area with reserved reclining lounge seating. The lobby concession area can be a bit hectic. Parking is relatively easy with food and shopping nearby. I do wish the seats reclined just a little more.

Apparently added a new rule today that no one carrying anything can entered. Were refused sale of a ticket because of a backpack and purse, even after offering to allow them to check them to prove there was no food inside. Was told to "just put them in your car." Informed them we used Uber to get here and they simply said sorry, we couldn't go to the movie. Probably will go to one of the other theaters in the area from now on.

Great theater. Been coming here for years. Consessions good, not free but could be worse. Good seats. Just learned that in the XD room the seat arm rests can come up making it a but more cozy. But something they have started doing is raising the room lights the moment the Credits start. I quit going to the new Luxe because of this. It isn't as bad as the Luxe where they had lights that actually point onto the screen. Decent Audio in the XD room!

We like this theater but just about every time we go the descriptive audio equipment that my blind son needs to better enjoy the movie doesn't work and we have to exchange it for one that does at the beginning of the movie. So I always end up missing the first few minutes of the movie and disrupt others.

Always a good experience. I like paying for the xd theater for the great recliner seats. I recently showed up later for a movie on a sunday and was able to make it through concessions before the previews were finished.

It's our favourite theater to go to, even if it is a 20 minute drive away and we have other theaters closer. Love the reclining seats, they try to keep it as clean as possible, also part of movie pass. One down side is one register open for a 10pm showing on a Saturday night, my dibbs started melting because there was a long line. Other then that can't say anything bad about this place, you have free parking and restaurants close by.

This is a nice theater. They open very early on Sundays which suits my wife and me. We went and got coffee since our movie started at 8:40 but we were surprised to learn that the theater actually sells coffee and cappuccinos and the like. Next time we go to an early showing we’ll just get coffee here! The seats are comfortable, recline-able, reservable, and clean. My only gripe was that the bathroom door had handles on both sides and there aren’t dividers between the urinals. My wife, on the other hand, told me that though there are handles on both sides, you can just push the door open. Oh well. Regardless, this is a very solid theater!

Ruined Doctor Who. No sound at beginning for a few minutes then a few minutes into the interview after the movie with David Tenet the sound was advertising and when they got That fixed it was out of sync for a few minutes Then the advertising sound track came back.... repeatedly. Manager apologized (felt kinda sorry for him having to face about 15 upset Doctor Who fans) and gave everyone a card for a free movie but the experience was ruined and because it was a special 1night showing there is no way to make it up.

The luxury chairs, reserved seats, and movies are great. It takes way too long to check out at the snack bar, though. There's nothing worse than running late for a movie and having to stand in a long line with your $10 popcorn, because every $10 transaction takes 3 minutes (clerk asks questions, makes you wait to put in a card, makes you take a receipt, etc). Can't this get faster?

The new recliners are a neat touch but if you don't get there early good luck getting a seat next to your date. Plus it's a bit expensive to sit and hear someone on their phone or see the light from their screen during a text.

The adjusting chairs are great. They seem to have issue with keeping their women's bathroom stocked with supplies. On at least 3 occasions, I've had to let staff know there was either no toilet paper or seat cushions. So, check the stall before you commit!

Easy in, easy out especially when using a ticket app and you just scan your phone at the door. We selected our seats all together (5 of us!) all online, super easy to do. Concession prices are exactly what you'd expect at the movies... expensive, but with all due respect. For a Saturday night, wasn't that crowded. Mixed bag of folks in the theater from teenage couples, families, and preteen crowds. Theater was clean, especially seating and the restroom was clean too. The staff are very nice people, friendly and happy to be there (at least it seems). I've lived in the area for some time and usually prefer this theater over others because of how convenient everything is. Adjacent parking garage always has spaces.

Went to a special holiday showing & projection all off, previous visit there were no ushers & somebody took a full on phone call while drinking shots from a bottle in the middle of a movie. Used to be my fave theater but gone downhill since the upgrades which makes ZERO sense but that's what seemed to happen.

I enjoyed an exciting movie here after pre-purchasing my movie ticket online. My popcorn was delicious and I also bought a soda. The padded reclining seats in the theater were very comfortable!

It's not a bad theater but it has it's issues. The good: Sound and video experience is on par with the other theaters nearby. Safe environment, never had trouble with crime while visiting. Surrounded by great shops and food. The bad: None of the perks you might expect like food or alcohol ordered and delivered to your seat. Unmotivated staff. Trash cans overflowing with no place to drop your trash so much of it ends up in the theater. Recently we caught a 8pm show and when we got home around 10:45pm we realized my wife left her phone in the theater. So we called and spoke with Haley and explained that the phone was likely in a specific seat in theater 5 and asked her to confirm that it was safe. She put us on hold for a bit and returned saying nope it's not there but we could come in the next day and look for it. With the cost of iPhones these days and after tracking the device to see that indeed it was in the theater we decided to head back that night since some shows were still playing. Apparently Haley didn't even bother to check because it was right in the seat.

Please clean those comfy seats between showings. Seems like I have to wipe them down every time I go here. I didn't buy popcorn , so I shouldn't have to sit on butter residue either. Even the cup holders could use a vacuuming. I will continue to bring wipes but should I have to?

Overall its a nice place with comfy reclining chairs however the main reason I go to a movie theater is to experience the show in a way that I cannot at home. This being said the quality of the picture for Mission Impossible was impossible to see clearly. The resolution was fuzzy and there was an insistent glare in the middle of the screen throughout the show. I am shocked and severely disappointed that this company delivered such a poor presentation of their primary purpose which showing movies. I won't even mention the poor excuse of a hotdog that looked like an old meatstick from a convenience store. Oh wait, I just did..
