Screens are not as good as Century City, place stinks, chairs must have bed bugs because I always have bites when I see movies there. Tonight we had no AC for the first 1.5 hours. It is getting worse, they need to do a rehaul. The staff and management is actually really nice and tries their best.

Came for the great deal on $5 Tuesday. You have to be a AMC member to get the deal, but worth it. And membership is free. No need to pay the $20 a month. Especially if you are only able to get out to see movie once a month. Concession stand was good, got three popcorn bucket refills. Out of pocket cost for two adults and a kid was roughly $50 bucks, not bad when it would have cost that on tickets alone on another day. You have to purchase tickets in advance online or on the app as seats fill up fast. We watched the movie in theater 1,I can honestly say no bad seat. Comfortable chairs. Lots of space to recline and relax and watch the movie. Will be going back to see more movies.

Best movie theater in the world. (2018) Update - 2019 99 percent of the time I come to this thearter. The staff never trips. Me and my friend can me loud and obnoxious when in a pack. But we always move into the movies and watch with manners. The staff here really make this place the place the gem that it is. Rachel is awesome!

Every time I go my reserved seat is taken by someone else, and I have to either confront the person or sit in another seat potentially bought by another. I'm sick and tired of it. The theatre isn't even half full. If reserved seating is not enforced AMC should just remove it. The staff is the redeeming factor.

When we’ve asked for a supervisor, we’ve got contacted with Julia, who played dump, pretended to not hear us, give answers to the questions we didn’t ask, didn’t give us the answers to the questions we did ask, be rude, not care, interrupted us many times and overall waste our time and money. Supervisors are supposed to be positive, good listeners, polite and etc., but unfortunately none of these qualities relate to Julia. We’ve asked her multiple times why she couldn’t transfer our money back, after which she would say something about the terms of their program which in fact did not relate to our situation and that we’ve never received. She didn’t give us any solution to our problem and said that we should just let it go and waste our $20. As a result, our day was ruined and we’ve ended up in a bad mood because of the company and the employers it hired. AMC is providing horrible costumer service and paying our money to the employers like Julia.

Giant screens! Reclining plush love seats! Insanely comfortable! Feels like you're in private home theatre seats. My hometown theatre is tiiiiiiiny (and probably equipped with seats from 1990s and tech from 2000) and my experiences here have me wondering how luxurious this place would feel for folks from home. AMC 7 has the best selection in first run movies in a convenient, bustling part of Santa Monica. There's a fun, retro marquee out front. Definitely get your movies in here. Since this theater is in the very crowded Santa Monica, it's actually oriented vertically. You take escalators either upstairs or downstairs to get to your theater. The compactness of the theaters had some consequences; during previews in the downstairs theater, I could hear noises from the other theaters. But this wasn't a problem during the actual film I watched. Overall a decent movie theater in a good location.

Dont bother going here. Staff will start the wrong version of the movie, then tell you that it's the right one. In addition to it being the wrong version, it was 45 minutes late! We had to repeatedly ask for it to be fixed. They started the trailers all over, instead just making the movie start. After complaining 3 times, management offered a refund, until they found out that I used Fandango to purchase my tickets. Unless you like these types of things, I would not recommend going here AT ALL..

The AMC Santa Monica 7 has come a long way. The seats are much better, and they are working on the rest of the area. It is still a bummer sometimes because the entry way is still under construction. The biggest single issue here is the food. They still only have popcorn, nachos, and a few fried food picks. They really need to make better food available. Seats are really good; full reclining seats.

The seats are very comfortable. The fact that the seats go back is wonderful. The thing I recently noticed is although that the seats are only a few years old now they are coming apart slightly. Some of the seats have begin to peel. It isn't very noticeable but it is on the arm rests. Besides that the service is good. Most of the employees are working away hardly and friendly.

Too pricey going after tourist purse finances. We use safe our monies to attend movies. Even the refreshments are for those that could spent $20 to enjoy this form of entertainment. Zero perks offer to people with disabilities, financial difficulty in affording transportation. Certainly give any great discounts to the Veterans. Let alone persons giving large amounts of people to attend a movie. Ooops theatres use to provide incentive groups & organizations to enjoy this amazing opportunity to feel like we're in the film itself. We pass fast.

Looks small from the entrance, but the movie halls are reasonably large with extremely comfortable sofas. Beautiful view of the screen from any row. Located in happening neighborhood with lots of wonderful restaurants, coffeeshops, mobile food stalls and great shopping areas. This is very close to the Beach. I watched a movie and then had a stroll in the beach.. wow.. really enjoyed the afternoon

This theater is awesome! We have the stubs membership, so we get great deals on movies and consessions! The seating has leather remote recliners that are so comfortable. You also can choose your seats right from the touchscreen. The bar has a nice selection of bears, wines and cocktails for the adults and slurpy machines for the kids and young at heart. But the very best thing of all is the $5.00 movie tickets on Tuesdays with you free stubs membership! It is different than the refillable popcorn and free slurpies membership that has a yearly fee. We get a group together from our kids school and take up one to two rows when we all go. I definitely say you get your money's worth!

I've come here my whole life, mainly because I live not too far away, and the way I have seen this theatre evolve has amazed me. I love the new renovation they did to make it more modern. I personally am not a fan of alcohol, but for anyone open to a drink, now it's available inside at a bar there.

I love the recliner seats here. As far as purely enjoying the movie I'd give 5 stars but my two complaints are that the theater is Freezing and the hot concession options are really gross. I like my junk food but theirs don't even qualify. Stick to the candy.

Great movie theater I love to be able to walk here the management is excellent the popcorn is always fresh and they have a great selection of movies ANSI bought most of the theaters and they're doing good things I especially like the large seats that recline. The staff is very friendly and very helpful parking is very reasonable in the parking structure first 90 minutes is free and it's a dollar fifty for the next hour

Nice recliner seats. Don't sit too far back if you plan on reclining though, since it's not stadium seating, the person in front of you would partially block your view. The long narrow escalators going down to and up from the basement screens were broken on my visit.

Amazing remodel of this marquee location! Generously sized, well spaced leather recliners make for an A+ movie viewing experience. Sound is top shelf as well! Check a weekday matinee and you'll probably have it mostly to your self.

Attended a movie upstairs (Theater 7) and the air conditioner was disabled. I and many others complained during the first half of the show and the theater did nothing, claiming the air was on. They ended up having to give free passes but the experience was miserable. For what they charge, you can do better at almost any other theater on the west side.
