Went here today to see Long Shot with mother. There were several things that disappointed me with my experience. One is that the restrooms were located upstairs and only there, what if handicap people need to use them? I did not see an elevator. Two is there is no cup holder between the seats, mother and I were sharing a large soda and had to pass it between each other distracting us from our movie experience. Three is that the seats were very tight and I kept accidentally pushing the seat warmer and realized five minutes later that it was on when I became uncomfortable by it. I am a huge supporter of AMC theaters and am a stubs member, but I will not be returning to this theater.

Went on Oct.7. The theater is undergoing a renovation that looks like it will be like Angelika. Draw your own conclusions on that. We went in to the screening room and noticed that the lights were on and everyone was sitting in recliners (new seats). Kind of reminded me of a college lecture hall. Lights on little swivel desk-like table to take notes on, etc. The previews came on and they left the lights on. Weird! You could barely see the previews because of the bright lights on. My wife went out to ask why they didn't turn off the lights. She was told that the lights would go out automatically when the feature started. The feature started and the lights stayed on! I went out and there was a group of patrons already demanding that they turn the lights out. A young employee then used a key to switch off the lights off. A brand new movie-going experience for sure. What was up with that?!???

Great theater, wonderful improvements, access to phone info....don' t even try it. Moat tickets you have to buy online and they charge a fee, the seats sell quick so food luck trying to buy it at the window....have a backup plan.

And the trend of cinemas going to reserved seating and restaurant food service continues... This place recently switch over to the trend and is the first one I've seen with heated seats. Nice touch, AMC! The food was acceptable, but at the time of this review, the delay in actually GETTING our food was close to 45 minutes. Hopefully, this will improve as they work out the bugs with their new service.

Good seating need to fix the window in the door to the viewing theater very distracting with light coming in. Only in certain seats but still. Easy fix that should be taken care of. Other than that great theater.

Really was great. However thethefood while you eat ... well the food was great. But cold. Apparently they lost our order. We were a party of 5 and between purchas of tickets and drinks . Payed in advance the cold food delivered while the movie had already started is some thing wr will think about before trying again.

It's amazing. Picture quality and audio are superb, staff is friendly, and the new seats are very comfortable (tall people's feet will hang off the edge when reclining - Don't wear heavy boots like I did) The only possible bad thing in the theater are the actors on screen. But, I wouldn't wanna see a bad movie anywhere else.

Only couple of negative experiences make me choose 4 star. All assigned seating which is nice with regular price as any theater. But in order to get good seats you will need to buy them online and pay a convenience fee of $4 to $5 which is a hiway robbery. Seats are nice and comfortable. Heated seat is a nice touch. Plenty of walking room in front the seat. Screen is high up and nice to view when the seat is completely extended. The food tray does get the way a bit. We ran into an issue with one seat that extension button wasn't working. There might be a manual way to it but wasn't obvious. Fortunately our next seat was empty to we switched.

Really nice theater with reclining seats that are heated. You can order popcorn and snacks, but you can also order dinner items as well (hamburgers, salads, chicken fingers). Alcohol is available for purchase too. This is on par with Angelika theaters.

Everything is new! We love the comfortable new reclining seats with seat warmers. A big variety of food choices including some gluten free snacks. And the floors are not sticky!

So everything about this place should be a 5, but I have 2 complaints. We could hear the movie in the theatre next to us. Big banging and exploding noise the entire time. 2nd problem is the screen is really high up. You have to sit farther back than usual to be seated high enough to be at eye level and even though the seats lay back, it's not ideal to be watching a movie at that angle. Otherwise, food is really good and service is good!

My wife and I came out for my birthday to catch a 9 o'clock show. We ordered food and after 30ish minutes it showed up... cold as a cucumber! I took it back to the counter and told them I did not pay movie theater prices for cold food. The guy apologized then said they'll remake it and get it back out to me. Another 40 minutes and it finally showed up. The gator tots were super hot and my burger was luke warm. On top of taking over an hour to get my food, the theater room was so hot, several of us were uncomfortable. I'm not sure what's going on at this location, but they have some things to work on.

I had a Royal burger w/tots and the wife had a classic burger with tots. Both burgers were excellent. Add a bag of snickers and a coke. $42.00. A little pricey. Plus $27.00 (both of us) for the movie.

Great venue, love the seats with the heat and recliner option and the fact of not having to share a space with so many people. Food is overpriced and quite bad. We were looking forward to having some nice food while at the movie, but it did disappoint. The food came too early, it was cold and bland. Service is great and staff is friendly and pleasant. Definitely better than a regular movie theater, just stick to the popcorn.

I love this theater. They raised the prices, but Tuesdays are still a bargain. I wish you weren't forced to have your food delivered to your seat though. They charge you $1 for that.

The new renovations the theater made are amazing, great service, great recliners with seat warmer. The small auditorium was very cozy, loud, and spacious. I will definitely be visiting again and becoming a premier member. The food selection is great, they delivered it to my seat, the alcohol selection is vast and as stated earlier the service is outstanding.

I would rate higher if it wasn't so freezing cold every time I go to watch a movie. Tonight I had to pull my hoodie over my nose because the freezing cold air was hurting my throat..my husband and kids too! Ridiculous. We even brought extra jackets to use because this...didn't help. Our popcorn and french fries were like ice too. Seat heaters don't even make it tolerable.

Wow! I am humbled. For me, the impoverished uninitiated, I was so stressed without cause. This theater has great seats that recline with heat pads. Aah! Thanks be to God! Enjoyed the matinee price $6.95! Sunday (July 6, 2019) was also a great experience because the ticket takers and sellers were so very understanding! Your service is excellent! My daughter and I watched the new Spider Man movie during 10:15am show. Blessed Virgin Mother, Mary! Triumph and Reign! Better torch than curse darkness!

Loved that they updated the seats - now has a recline and foot rest. Also the seats are not sets of 2 so you can be an odd number group and sit together. Other theaters have a space every 2 seats, not this one. Also, there isn't a bad seat in the house. Back, side, center all get good views. You can also order food to be delivered to your seat.

AMC Dine-In is an experience that anyone who loves movies should experience. Being able to ot in a recliner and have your favorite food brought to you is an experience. One of the food menu items that I would like to highlight is the classic burger. If you love cheeseburgers, then I know for sure you'll love the one they serve. There are lots of burger joints out there where you can get your fix from, but having the one in AMC Dine-In is unlike any other! The theaters are cozy and comfortable. The recliners are heated, and being able to kick back, relax, with that special someone is an experience.

I came to the Poway theater on Friday Sept 21 to see if they still had discount Tues. I had not placed an order online before and it told me the discount would be taken when I checked out. I bought 3 tickets for tues..Sept 24 but I was charged $31. I immediately put in for a refund. I went to the theater to buy the 3 tickets. I arrived at 11 am Sept 23 and was told they didn't open till 12:30. I came back at 12:30 and told by the manager they didn't open till 1:30. I tried to tell him what had happened and he said I was being rude. I came back at 1:30 and started talking to the guy on the ticket booth. The manager came up to listen and he butted in and told me I was rude and he wouldn't sell me the tickets and that I wasn't welcome in the theater. I was upset but not rude. Didn't raise my voice or use bad language and he argued with me that I was rude. I've been going to the Poway theater for over 15 years and never had such a bad experience. I hope the management will look into Reynard and his attitude....very disappointed

This venue is undergoing a serious renovation. It is looking great! I gave 4 stars because half of it is under construction but the half we sat in is awesome! Wide, comfortable reclining seats with seat warmers. Table trays with cup holders swivel. Concession stand is limited due to growing pains but I expect it will be great! Great screens, great sound! 2 thumbs up!

The theater is great! The food is good, the seats are excellent!!! But the lack of seats is horrible. I paid $50 to be in their preferred program they try to up sale you with. They should have one row reserved for VIP members that pay that fee to be a part of their program. I went to the theater two times in a row and was unable to get a seat. They are completely sold out over an hour before the movie. I tried to get tickets to see Aqua man with my family over the weekend and could not get five seats together and I went to the theater to purchase them 6 hours before showing. I was not going to leave a bad review because I truly like the theater but this is the second time in three weeks I had to go to another theater to watch a movie when I am a resident in Poway and pay to be a VIP member. They need to have seats reserved for at least an hour before show times for the preferred members. Unless they change something about this problem my review will stay the same. Anyone reading this needs to know that if they plan on going to a popular movie and have more then two people with them they need to buy their tickets a day ahead of time.

A beautiful theatre, comfortable seats with large screens. A little warm inside the theatre itself. If you decide to eat here, be prepared to drop a pretty penny for basic foods. Of course, you don't have to eat heee and eating here doesnt detract from the experience at all. The only other reason this isn't a five star review is that it's not necessarily accessible to all body types. If you are larger, take a skip on this theatre unless you plan on buying two tickets to get two seats.

Really love this place since the remodel. The reclining chairs and tray tables are fabulous, complete with optional heat function on the chairs! I definitely used this because I get cold in movie theaters. The aisles were spacious, enough for it the food delivery service if you opted for this. It is assigned seating. You could still see the movie easily even reclined in your chair. Love the $5 AMC Stubs Tuesdays! We haven't come out for a lot of movies in the past, opting to wait to watch the video in the comfort of our family room, but we will be returning soon.

And I love you dont have to wait they bring to your seat... also you get to pick your seat so no rushing to get in. It is a smaller theatre though so not as many movie choices as other locations but I still highly recommend.

Overall it was a good experience. Going on a weekday early afternoon is best. Only 6 people at our chosen movie. Only complaint I have is the center divider on the seats. It lifts up but does not go back out of the way far enough. It protrudes out about 1 inch and is very uncomfortable on your back if you want to slide over and get close to your date. Otherwise they are comfy recliners with plenty of room all around. But, I'm going to see if some other theater has better seats.

My new favorite AMC for a date night with the wife !!! We have the AMC A-list and this theater is one of the options so we wanted to come out and try the “dine in “ experience. The food was good, only issue is you must be clear with the staff as I wanted chicken instead of beef for my burger. I thought it was going to be like Arc Light, where we ordered at our seat. But, the food came right to our seats during the trailers. I just wished maybe if someone pj led up the food trays during the movie. Highly recommend to try this theater out !

Really impressed with this place. I used to go here a few years ago because it was cheap, but it wasn't the nicest and it felt old and kind of sketchy. However, they recently renovated the place and it is so much better now. It has reclining seats that are HEATED! I have been to the Cinepolis and while the in-movie service is nice, it honestly feels more distracting than anything. This place has basically all of the same amenities and food options and it is cheaper and less crowded. Highly recommend this place

I love this theater for many reasons: convenience, atmosphere, food options, etc. I would make it 5 stars if they would leave the AC on for late night movies. When I early, it's nice and cool, but any showing after 10 and I leave sweating in my seat. Worth it, but would love to see it better.

I love how AMC revamped this theater. I've been going here for a long time and have seen it change names 3 times. Reclining seat is are narrower than Cineopolis or Angelika, but still comfortable. You can sit in row 2 (or B) and not feel too close to the screen. The app is awesome. I love being able to buy tickets on the app and have the tickets on my phone.

I had never been to a dine in movie theater. The chairs recline, they have fancy popcorn, the food is actual food and the prices aren't much more than average theater pricing. It's a good relaxing atmosphere and the chairs are super comfortable. I will definitely be going back. If you're looking for a first date theater this one has coupled seats but enough space where you might not get the awkward arm thing happening, but then again the first theater date is supposed to be awkward :)

Nice theater. Recently renovated to be an upscale place, with reserved seats and trendy food. The theaters are high quality. big screens and good sound. The seats are comfortable power recliners. And they have SEAT WARNERS, which is great if you are the kind who gets cold easily. Food prices are kind of high compared a regular theater, but what we've had is pretty good. And they deliver your food to your seat, which is very convenient.

Alright this was my first time here to this theater and I have to say, this was awesome! A standard cinema you buy your ticket, drink, popcorn, maybe a pretzel, then sit in a seat and watch your movie. This place is the epitome of dinner and a show. You purchase your ticket, walk inside, and there's a menu! Burgers, salads, appetizers, etc. I don't drink but they have a bar as well. It's all assigned seating. You place your order, they make it, then they bring it to you! So cool! (I recommend the Royal Burger) When you get to your seat, it's an electric recliner that will lay back and feet up. There's a swivel tray attached with a cup holder for your food. Tonight was my first time being here and I was really impressed. Definitely a place to go to spoil yourself and significant other. A little pricey, but well worth it!

I'm glad they've updated this theater, overall it was very nice. My only complaint: the heated seat button. I wish they would have placed it closer to the front of the seat, instead of the very back. It's way too easy to press accidentally. Pretty distracting.

The theatre is good...the food was very salty..maybe the cook had a bad day..i tried two different dishes which had the batter..the chicken tenders and the fried chicken burger...it was so salty that i had to return it and apparently the sea called it wanted it's salt back .here is the terrible part...the manager told me that since 30 minutes had elapsed since i got the burger i CANNOT get a refund...and she gave me coupons to get money off next time. I do not want to get money off for more salty food, If one is watching Avengers, I do not want to miss it so waiting 30 or more minutes was the only option. I cannot do much with $18 in coupons

Great seats delicious food sure overpriced but that’s EVERY theater. The seats were heated and you could even RECLINE. Made the watching experience amazing. Felt so comfy and the customer service is great. They gave us tickets since they didn’t give us all our food. Will come again to watch an AMC movie.

Went for my 4 year old granddaughter's birthday! Had a great time - super comfortable with reclining seats and no disruption of at the seat ordering and delivery. Also no implied pressure to order!

They fixed this theatre up fantastically. The seats recline and have heaters in them. You can order and eat food right at your seat. And ticket prices during the day are great.

Well i thought the prices were high. Also, menu choice was limited. All i wanted was some chicken tenders not a full meal. They wouldnt let me purchase some off the children's menu because i was over 12 years old. So i didn't get amything.

I loved the theater but the staff that was cleaning were rude i asked 3 seperate times to have the table wiped down from the previous people who were there and the young girl was more interested in following her male coworker around then cleaning and she still never wiped the table down!!!!

What a difference! This is my new theater to head to first. I was very impressed with the massive upgrade to the entire place. A bar for adult beverages, normal theater fair, deluxe type of snacks, and now a mini restaurant that can deliver to your seat. Your heated reclining leather seat to more descriptive. Lean back into the soft chair and it leans back. Press a button and that bad boy is in full bed mode. Press the button and a seat heater kicks in and toasts your bottom like a bun at In n Out. Not a truly bad seat in the house either. Bravo AMC. Bravo.

This place is exactly what Poway needs. Half of the theaters are up graded. Really nice recliners/love seats. They even have heaters!!!!! A bar is soon to come and the food is better.

Virginia beach has it better. More service oriented and not late with the food. Went to order and young kid made a joke at my expense to make the other waitress giggle. He told us he couldn't answer questions about the menu because it was his first day. I say gove the young man more training before letting him interact with the public. Fries were cold and over cooked. Burger ok but nothing special. Very disappointed with the young African American kid at the counter. He was disrespectful and needs training. Movie was good but 50 dollars for food with poor service will have me trying out a different theater next time. Oh yeah , we could hear sounds from the next theater. Not recommend this place.

I was quite impressed with the Royal burger. Very tasty and delivered to my seat. You order first outside the theater and then they deliver it to your recliner seat. Many of the other options looked tasty as well, althpugh i probably wont frequent this theater to try them, as i live down in Ocean Beach. The burger had arugula, fig jam and brie, and then a "royal" sauce which I cant really describe but added to the overall flavor profile by adding a little more salt to offset the fig a bit. There is a place near the trash you can self bus your tray at at the end of the movie.

When we got there we went and ordered our popcorn and slurpee of course we got the large for both. All of the slurpee machines were down and not working. They could have informed us of this before we paid for them. There is only 1 bathroom on the main floor and it was absolutely filthy. There was urine all over both of the toilets in the bathroom GROSS. It wasn't like they were busy because they were not. The popcorn seemed as if it was popped a while ago so its wasn't fresh. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the reclining seats and the seat warmers. You all seriously gotta up your game we definitely wont be back.

Our theater had a filthy movie screen with grime and stains on it that was very distracting, not to mention the poor focus and awful refresh rates of the projector in general. It was a sweltering and stuffy theater. It had to have been 80+ degrees in there with a sticky humidity and no source of fresh air. The fancy new chairs are awful and uncomfortable and poorly designed. I am probably a standard sized human and it was way to skinny. It could have been the terrible location of the side table, they felt in the way. not sure if they could retract out of the way or not, i didnt bother to check. there was trash in our seats and some kind of wetness maybe on the arm rest and in the cup holders?? prob from the poor bastard sweating and farting into the seats before me. The prices on everything were absurd but i guess you already know that if you are going to a movie these days. however if you do plan to drop that kind of $$$ then do it at a different theater. This is by far one of the worst in the area. Id gladly trade movie prices back to $5 for standard stadium seating.

Remodeled and now my favorite theater in town. Reclining seats with seat warmers makes for a super comfortable movie outing. Bar inside and many food options on the menu.

Amazing theater remodel. Seats recline and are heated. Super comfortable. This is our new favorite theater. It's more comfortable than Expected Angelika theater.
