I went to see a priceless film called "Carpe Kilimanjaro" about dementia and Alzheimer's. The movie made the night! The exterior of the Rialto Theater is beautiful and, I believe, there is a fundraising venture going on to upgrade the seats inside the theater which would be a definite boost to theater-goers! The movie was offered to the public for free with the customer paying for refreshments, a fair deal. There were free books on dementia and Alzheimer's being offered to the theater-goers that night, very generous, and I took 2 books for future reference (aging parents + my husband & I are aging). The Rialto Theater is a blessing to the Searcy community and I plan to frequent this theater a little more often in the new year!

This theater is completely run by volunteers. They did a fabulous job of rebuilding after the fire years back. The prices are low and just my humble opinion, they have the best popcorn. It's freshly popped and their butter is real!

This is one theater that uses coconut oil instead of butter on the popcorn. So my food Allergic kid can enjoy popcorn at the movies I give them 5 stars! !!!! And its only a $1-2 for a movie!

A Searcy gem. What a great place to just enjoy the movies. I can get tickets and popcorn and snacks for less than tickets alone at most theaters. Affordable popcorn is a bigger plus than plush recliners in my book. They've finally upgraded the sound system also, which was sorely needed.

For a $3 ticket price, it met all of our expectations. The lobby could have flowed a little better but there were only two people working in the concession stand. The newly restored marquee was awesome and I'm sure there are plans to restore the interior as soon as funds are raised. Our kids enjoyed their visit and I'm sure we will be back.

Very historical theater that is also restoration work in progress. New sound system and projector screen. The current seating is old and not very comfortable. Prices are very affordable for the average family and the staff are super friendly. They also offer concessions that wont break the bank

Great old theatre with so much character. It was recently (2016) puchased by the city of Searcy, because it is a historical landmark and a piece of the cities identity. The prices are perfect 2 dollar movies can't hardly be beat. If you have multiple kids and are looking for something to do in Searcy on a budget this is the place for you. Unless, you are plus-sized. The seats are in need of upgrade and do not accommodate people with plus-sized frames. Overall 3 stars its a great place for a family excursion, but if your looking for a top knotch theatre keep searching.

Great value. Tickets and concessions are half the price of a regular movie theater. Beautifully restored historic theater. Occasional live entertainment as well. All volunteer run. Renovations paid for by local community and generous private donors.

Great place for cheap movies, but beware if you buy candy from them. My butterfinger I purchased from them was out of date and hard as a rock. They did let me get a new candy bar but reshelved the expired candy.
