We've got all the opinions of real people who consume the services and products of Malco Pinnacle Cinema (Movie Theater) near Arkansas.
Now the business receives a rating of 4.2 over 5 and this score has been based on 494 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an opinions average is positive, and it is based on a high number of reviews, so we can think that the valuation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they are satisfied with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater corresponds to the category of Movie theater.
I came into Malco with my children, hoping for a nice weekend. It turns out that they canceled the movie we were planning on seeing to put a more popular movie in its place. They didn’t tell us or have a sign or anything and I bought the tickets online beforehand. When I asked for a refund, one of the (managers? tall, curly blonde hair) sighed while rolling his eyes and flicking a red pass at me. Will not be returning.
Nice theater. Pretty equal to everything around here. Movies are just getting more expensive to come to. Not the cleanest theater.
I really dislike that there is no real handicap access. You have to walk a fair distance from parking. If you are on crutches or have trouble walking consider going to the other theater in Rogers.
Dose not seems to have as good a selection as the Roger's theater. You would think being in a mall and looking all fancy they would but they just don't...
Everybody loves to sit back and watch a movie on the big screen from time to time. Most of the Malco Theaters have been updated this year and now have a place to buy lunch or a snack while you watch the movie they really stepped up your movie watching agenda
Pinnacle prominad great experience
Not much on their prices but to see a movie I have to give in. I can't believe all these women complaining about their purses being searched. Got to have rules in life if you don't want somebody to touch your purse don't bring it in.
This place was ok for movie experience... Screen sounds seat are good. But building is old and need renovation. Overall good experience.
Love the theater....the movie "US" horrible! But the theater is very nice, clean and roomier than most theaters!
They had to replay the movie 3 times. We had to move to a different room and rewatch the ads. Wasted 1 hour.
Not worth your time or the money. AMC fiesta sqaure is way better full service bar, free refills on all drinks not acholic, fully electric reclining chairs, and there tickets 9.00$ for a adult ticket. I hope AMC shuts them down.
It has to be hard to compete with the seats at the other location accross town, but there are some advantages to this location. mostly: location. It's central to the whole pinnacle hills promenade area and easy to set up some shopping or eating before of after the movie. Plus they are usually showing one or two movies that aren't at the other place..meaning that sooner or later you will end up here anyway. Its not that bad.
Great experience, would definitely recommend to friend's
I am not happy with 3 stars too, but only biggest problem is seating, they have folding chairs in which kids can't sit properly, if they lay back,it folds. All other things are ok. Very small.
Great place!!
Had a great time, could use an update.
Ok
Family movie time! No Recliner seats yet!
Too expensive
Favorite
Good theater.
I watched a movie here
pee on the bathroom floor
Its a small theater. My only issue.
Their website was not updated and as a result we went to see a movie that was no longer playing at that time. The assistant behind the desk was indifferent and was not helpful. The theatre the movie we ended up seeing had not been clean and was pretty gross. We won't be coming back here and will probably go to the AMC in Fayetteville instead. The staff at the AMC have always been awesome!
Seats were comfy and theater area was clean.
Theatre was clean. Popcorn a bit stale.
I would give negative 5 stars if I could this theater is gross and the customer service here is lackluster if anything.
My wife is up to visit for a few weeks while I'm here on a contract consulting job. We were looking for a theatre, but after reading about searching women's purses and refusing refunds for those who declined we decided to skip it. I've never heard of such an absurd policy.
I like Malco, A LOT actually we drive over an hour to go there. Imagine my disappointment when they told me I couldn't bring the bag i had all my babies things in. Diapers, wipes, baby bottle, baby milk, blankets even my medicine. So they told me I couldn't bring it in. Why! Because of the size they said. I didn't have anything in it but the baby stuff and even told them they could look in it. Nope so guess what if baby needed changed I had to go outside and get what I needed. A new bottle had to go out. That very disruptive to our movie which we paid a lot for we had a family of 6! Kinda disappointed. But I guess. Rules are rules . But mind you this was the first time they said anything. Just didn't sit right.
Always good movies!
Comfortable seats but did not recline. Small theater with good sound.
20 bucks for two to see an afternoon show without popcorn. Seats are comfortable, but aren't the new recliner ones. Staff is very nice .
i totally understand why they are searching purses. We have done this for years at the college football games. I am glad to see it as there have been far too many shootings in movie theaers lately. Way to keep us safe. But i would have an adult do it as if someone comes in with a weapon, what is a kid going to do about it?
Awesome theater. Great seats. Love the recliners.
Nice theater although not declining seats. Good Tuesday pricing.
It is coooooooooooooool
A normal, chain theater. Nothing outstanding. Regular, overpriced concessions. But nothing to complain about compared to any other big theater.
Great! Wonderful movies!
Went to see the Avengers: Infinity War on Friday night at 7:30. Buying at the kiosk was super easy and convenient. Then we walked into the theater to be smacked in the face by the smell of pee and sweat.. not to mention it was boiling as well. Please fix the a/c and buy some air fresheners.
They have workers come throughout the movie. Don't really know why, but once they asked a guy to simply take his feet off the chair. And the movie goers are terrible..
Very clean theatre. I wish the sound system could have been better!
Too expensive!!!! Movies cost $40. Snacks cost another $30!!! I’ll get a RedBox and stay home next time. Not worth the expense whatsoever. If they had declining seating, a clean environment, and food service, I might come back.
Great place
Cant get 5 stars because it lacks the lazyboy chairs and popcorn additives (for free, anyway).
Staff was friendly, loved the seats.
Prices on concessions need improvement.
Nice location- VERY clean theater
Good place to see a movie
They really only want to maKe sure you don't bring in your own treats! Common sense.....too high prices for a child's movies.
The theatre had a bad odor, it was too hot, and the seats gave me a backache.
Clean, very nice, polite staff, but the AMC's seats were more spacious and reclined further. Worth a slightly longer drive
Your typical, franchised theatre; high concession prices and highly promotional pre-movie films. I and my family have gone to the Malco for the Star Wars Force Awakens, Lego Movie, Rogue One, Lego Batman, and likely a number of other viewings and all reached par. The facility it's self is fairly clean, friendly staff, and typical expensive theatre concessions. The theatre viewing room its self has fair seats, great picture, and great sound, and comfortable(climate, seat-spacing). I will say though, when we went to the Star Wars Force Awakens, the audio was off for the first few minutes of the film, but the staff stopped, and restarted the movie with the audio on and things smoothly from there. I would the Malco if you are a family or a movie goer. I have heard about the purse searching policy and I support it, we want the public facilities to be safe and family friendly and this policy allows that goal.
Excellent as always. I love attending the matinee to avoid the crowds makes for a more family friendly time.
Very clean. Well kept. Friendly staff.
The Dolby 7.1 sound is amazing there. Always clean. Nice bathrooms. Good choice of snacks.
I'm 98% sure that they reuse their large pop corn containers. They were fishing them out of the trash and collecting them at the door after our movie was over. I suppose that it could be just to reduce the space they take up in the trash can by throwing them away together, however I WOULD NOT put it past them to reuse them.
So sweeet
Good price, lots of comfort and space
Please upgrade your seats to recliner seating. Thanks You'll quadruple your earnings.
If I could rate this place higher, I would. We seriously love visiting.
You can watch a movie, good seats
No long wait at concessions and really enjoyed our movie. Seating was fine too.
I have been to this cinema severally and it is one of the major cinemas in the area. However, It is quite similar to Malco Towne Hall Cinema. Irrespective, I feel it is less organized owing to the lack of sitting arrangement. As a matter of fact, movie goers have to scramble for their favorite sitting spot when they get access to the cinema hall, instead of being able to pick a spot when purchasing tickets. Not a pretty sight especially when a new trending movie is released. They also do not have recliner chairs which is a big let down too.
The fountain is so pretty. The popcorn tastes really good.
Clean restrooms and theatre, awesome atmosphere :)
Really cool place and employees were very friendly and helpful
Great theater, lots of parking. Nice and comfy seats too, wish they would add recliners, but overall awesome place!
The last 2 times I’ve been here it’s been a mess. They don’t clean in between movies...disgusting
good theater and good view inside . You can bring your food.
Experience is great, awesome theatre! But they always show the lesser movies. The crappier Malco in Rogers always plays the good movies but it's smaller. I don't understand that.
Great place to watch movies
Nice theater, but too expensive for the quality (a little worn out feeling), still giving 4 stars, good popcorn, good service, good quality sound and video.
Theatre and movie we're good, but pre-purchased tickets for late movie and there was NO staff to collect tickets at movie time. Anyone could have just walked in without paying.
Nice theater!
They have recliners but you have to reserve your seat so I'd try to get there early, you can buy the tickets hours before run around then go back and have your seat you reserved.
Nice theater for the most part! Seems a little dirty. Sometimes you get stale popcorn. Especially towards the end of the night. Don't have a movie going on until late and not have fresh popcorn ready until close. I think they are to eager to close and get out of there that they stop caring about the customers wanting fresh drinks and popcorn.
The theater itself is great... But some of the staff aren't. To sum up my experience, I'm done with theaters and the staff who monitor need to check corners and stuff more often.
*Ant Problem* I'm sure this occasionally happens in theaters, but it's a little upsetting to take your date to a movie and have ants crawling on both of you in several different seats while trying to enjoy a film. The manager was informed of the problem in theater 2 but I'm not sure if any action was taken. I'm going home to shower.
We had an exceptionally obnoxious crowd in the theater. Big group of unattended children and children who snuck into an R movie. Management (they were trying but the couple parents in there were part of the issue) was great when we decided to leave and refunded us. We will try it at the Malco across town.
I know the current trend is reclining seats, but this is the nicest theater I've been to without them. Also, go see Crazy Rich Asians.
Good relaxing place
Nice movie theater. Good selection of the latest films. Fair prices. Typical seating. At some point they will be adding reclining seating.
An absolutely must see movie!!
My wife and 2 kids( 1yr old & 4yrs old) tried to go see Cinderella for a matinee and the price was going to be $24. For a movie that's been out for over a month. When i called them to check the price for myself it was $8.50 for adults and $6.50 for children 2 and up and still tried to charge for the 1yr old. If you take children to the theaters don't take them to this one its an absolute rip-off.
Great movie and great popcorn.
Never had a bad experience here, just wish they got more movies and we didn't have to wait. I have been waiting for Foxcatcher to come out for months and when it finally did in November I was very sad to find out our cinemas here were not showing it. Just sad. Average theater. Good popcorn, though.
They have the most awesomeness, cleanest movie theatre, and very friendly staff, and good quality popcorn. Lol
Was very clean inside the theater. Sound system was nice.
Great place
Great movie!! Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark
Great experience every time.
Decent place. Old seats but ambience is good. Nice staff.
Keep at it!
Nice clean theatre!
Awesome place.
Had a great experience watching Thor. Even though they were super busy the workers were doing their very best to make sure we all were satisfied. The theater itself was very clean and had no issues other than no screen during adverticements. But after I asked an employee in a red shirt they told me it was a problem with "Screenvision". Overall loved going will return. ps I saw an elderly man put his hands in the fountain for some reason??
Nice place for Indian movies
Good option for folks living in the Pinnacle Hills area. But sometimes good movies come to the one in other Malco in Rogers.
Super good theater and it even has an arcade !!!
Sourrouning location is good.
Clean theatre and a good price
Great experience!
With all the other theaters in the area getting upgrades to comfortable seating this theater feels left behind. It's a better theater with good seats. However, in a world of great, good just stops meeting expectations.
Great popcorn! I always get it. I love watching movies here.
Nice clean quiet movie experience with decent prices.
I took my children in to see a movie and after I paid for our 5 tickets, my 11 year old daughter was stopped and told her purse needed to be searched!!! I asked why and was told it was new policy- and as I was being told this, the woman next to us, who had a diaperbag-sized purse was just allowed through. My daughters purse was 5.5 inches in diameter (yes! I actually measured it when I got home). I asked for a refund and was refused!!!! I will NEVER go to another Malco establishment again!
This theater chain is the only one in town. Unfortunately, that means no competition and their other theater just to the north is a complete dump. Pricing is somewhat high given the quality. This is especially true when comparing to larger national chains like AMC Theaters.
A good place for a date with the girlfriend ;)
Nice but no Alamo
Clean,close, fun.
Good theater other than the non reclining seats.
Cozy place to watch movies. Very nice ambience.
Nice theater! Enjoyed it!
Good comfy seats compared to most cinema seating
Who dont like movies
This place is behind on the times. The seats are old and there is a funny smell in some of the theatres. I have better experiences at the other local movie theaters.
So I brought my little sister in to see children's movie for her birthday and one of the employees I believe her name was Paige or something and she was swearing quite loud and it was humiliating to have to explain some of the words my little sister heard. Won't be coming back..
Saw "Angel Has Fallen" with my daughter, Melissa. Great movie but I was a little distracted by the seats which had a gap between the top section and the seat. Much prefer the seats at Malco Towne Center as they are the reclining type.
UNBELIEVABLE. We go to a Sunday matinee today, buy our two tickets THEN are informed they have a new policy that they need to search my purse. When I said that's really not ok with me and an invasion of my privacy- they tell me that I won't be allowed in if I don't submit to a search. (But I'm already in the building and they've already taken my money for tickets.) I have been in their business for all of maybe 2 minutes and gave no reasonable reason to be searched. I see that they are searching every woman carrying a purse. UNBELIEVABLE! The teenage boy at the ticket counter tells me when I disagree "it's for everyone's safety." UNBELIEVABLE. The other woman selling tickets, says, "Ma'am it's for everyone's safety." They are ABSOLUTELY implying they are looking in women's purses for weapons. Talk about a way to absolutely RUIN what should just be a pleasant afternoon activity. JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE ATTACKS PEOPLE AT A MOVIE THEATER, DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE JUSTIFICATION TO THEN START VIOLATING AND TALKING DOWN TO ALL OF YOUR PURSE-CARRYING CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE NO INTENTION OF HURTING ANYONE. They were also not searching men, children, pockets, there were no actual security personnel present, no metal detectors, and it was highly unprofessional and invasive. They didn't have any flashlights to even see in the bags. The woman who worked there literally tried to put her hands inside my bag. NOT OK. There are so many reasons why them doing this is WRONG. One of the biggest ones being- what imbecile decided that their best line of defense against an assumed woman carrying a gun is the underage child selling tickets at the ticket counter seeing it in her purse? What exactly is he supposed to be tasked to do about it, with his movie theater training and minimum wage part time income level? Are these people just insane? WILL NEVER RETURN. EVER.
Best movie theatre in the area, and the best movies play here.
Amazing customer service! as a father of 5 this was a clean and wonderful place to take my kids. the seating was amazing and comfortable and afterward the kids had tons of fun in the arcade. 5/5 will definitely go again and you should too. subscribe to Pewdipie!
Nice theater. Movie pass sux
Great movie Play the Flute.... Preview!
Great. Soft drinks were good staff was great
Expensive, but fun.
Needs updated
Very well kept!
It was super good I love jaws
Over priced tickets for semi good service and
Very bad day ever , employer give us wrong show time and drive one hours and when we reached they don’t have any show time as per they told us . Never come agin .
Good theater... needs renovation... no recline seats or better restaurants onsite.
This is pretty much the only game in town when it comes to movie theatres. I'll just stick to the basics here. The popcorn was super super salty and gave me a headache. They charge $.75 for tap water and $4 for a bottle of water. For me and my daughter to see a matinee and share a large popcorn the total cost was under $25 which isn't bad. I didn't mind the experience, but I still have the bad taste of their popcorn in my mouth and that put me in a bad mood. Why wouldn't you just let people salt their own popcorn? Why can't you offer free water cups?
Out of the three locations, this was the worst. Pinnacle being the best followed by Razorback
Nice theater. Love relaxing and watching movies in their reclining seats.
IP
Nice place
Good place to watch Indian Regional movies in Northwest Arkansas.
This is a good theatre, but the other one in Rogers I'd have to say is better, they need to add recliners at this one as well!!
Nice theater with recliner seats
Awesome.
Comfortable, reasonable
This is a nice theater, clean and staff are usually polite
We were given a fandango gift card for MALCO theatre. We tried the kiosk which would NOT accept the card, so we went to the main desk. The attendant said we could only use that gift card through the fandango app. So we downloaded the app to find out we have to pay an additional $3.40 to use the gift card. Really!? Save the trouble and just give cash. They already overcharge for food, drinks and tickets. Why do you have to pay extra to use a gift card? Won't be coming back!
Great experience as always, good service.
Love the stacker in the arcade
We picked a great time to go and really enjoyed The Glass Castle!!!
Went to matinee with a friend during the week. Was nice because thru weren't crowded but they still had enough staff to handle concessions & direct you to correct theater. Wish they all were converted to new comfy chairs but we really enjoyed the movie & how the staff didn't mind helping find keys I didn't realize I dropped in theater. They were awesome.
Average movie theatre
I love this but wish we get more Hindi/urdu movies.
We love family movie night here!!!
Great spot to catch a movie!
Always clean, always happy to help staff.
Nice theatre the sound is good
If you are feeling nostalgic or just curious about what the 80s looked like, then this is the theater for you. The stained green velvet seats are comforting, not in the way they feel, but in the way they remind you of grandmas house. The theater was built before engineers discovered how to adjust armrests, so it is not ideal for a hot date. However, what it lacks in clean floors and leather recliners it makes up for in consistency. The employees are very nice and the location is great.
Nice & great for the family!
It was amazing! Although I couldn't find the recline part
Awesome
