Some employees are cool, others are garbage. This theater has its ups and downs. The ups,go at the right time, you can enjoy yourself and there's practically no line. Downs,go when everybody's there, run into alot of foolishness and long lines. The seats are old a worn out for the most part.The Grill is only up at certain times on certain days. The restroom really gets dirty when a big crowd is there.They don't clean it through out the day like they should. I give this place 3 stars,its not all the way bad,but it's not all the way good nether.

Save your money. They allow people to get away with murder! Our movie was ruined due to people sneaking in smelly food, people on their phones , and talking thru out the movie. But according to a employee that it's fine! no big deal! Well it is a big deal to the people who were bothered!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

The movie theater has really went down. The lobby floor was dingy and the had an odor. The women's bathroom was nasty and most stalls were unusable. The theater had an overall mildew odor. Won't be going back.

Used to be my favorite Malco theater but has not been well maintained over the years like Olive Branch where I frequent more unless I'm crunched for time and cant make it down there. Service is fine the property just needs a remodel especially the chairs not comfortable at all.

Dirty theater. Sticky floors. Dirty screen. Even the seats, despite being obviously old, just had that dirty, filthy feel. Thankfully security was there to help quiet down a bunch of thoughtless kids who seemed to think they were the only ones in the theater as loud as they were. That was the last time we go to the Southaven Malco.

I love this place. They keep everything neat and clean. I just hate that it's so expensive to eat here. Its ridiculous how much you have to pay for popcorn and a drink. Water is even expensive. If you have a lot of children you will have to budget just to get some popcorn or candy. It's not just this movie theater but all. I dont understand why it's so expensive. The sad thing is it continues to go up, even the tickets. Soon a later people will stop going if it gets to expensive. I dont know if they know people will still come or what, I dont think It have to be so expensive.

The theater has a nostalgic feeling with the 80s style neon lighting, outdoor tickets booth, and uncomfortable seating to match! The floor was sticky all over and there were 3 stalls in the women's bathroom, 1 was closed, and the others were disgusting... Only good thing about this visit was the movie Aladdin.

Saw several movies over the last few months at this location. Everytime is worse.The restrooms are a disgrace and need to be cleaned with products. The movie theater was smelly, dirty, and the seats were broke. They need to renovate. I love the location but they need to do improvements. I gave it two stars because I like the movies, location, and staff. My husband said give them 1 star. They need professional cleaners the staff cant get rid of that smell and the theaters need to be severely cleaned too.

Traveling thru...Here watching Aquaman...and the seats are like sitting in hardback chairs. No padding and they lean way back...no support whatsoever! Certainly not worth $10 x 4 folks... disappointed Malco!

Must be poorly run the employees are very mean in the later hours, I know they want to go home but after a ticket purchase they shouldn't refuse food service and then tell me if i dont like it i can leave or they will call call the police. The cashier, a very angry girl cused at me, I will never go here again. I didnt even watch the movie I paid for I just left. I'm so rattled now posting this, please BBB close this place down.

Great location, I found this theater easy to locate for anyone new to the area. The inside is spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and polite giving a cozy, family friendly atmosphere; while moving the crowd.

Went today no one at ticket booth, had to go in and find out you had to pay at the concessions stand for a ticket to get in. There should be a sign outside to let you know that other people outside wondering what to do. Got popcorn went to get butter the area was not clean either look like from the night before. This is the theater I usually go I was just a little disappointed for my birthday.

Came here for the first time. We saw Mary Poppins Returns. Great movie. Nice clean theater with big comfy seats. Was ready for a nap afterwards. Service was fast for popcorn and snacks.

I will not be returning they need some SERIOUS RENOVATIONS and that's just about it. The smell in the theater was HORRIBLE, I will not be returning. Too many teenagers with no adult supervision. Saw police officers entering and leaving the building. Smell was awful. I enjoyed the movie though.

Nice building an very clean but, Ridiculous prices, they price gouge for everything. A single coke an bag of candy a dollar anywhere else runs 11 bucks. The tickets for 2 run like 19 bucks too. They would have a LOT of more customers if they would get reasonable with their prices. Oh an they need to really work on their soundproofing from one room to another. Not cool to be in a quiet scene in one movie an hear the words from the one next door. Bad audio acoustics.

WARNING I GOT BEDBUGS FROM HERE! I went to this theater the other day to watch Endgame. Everything was great. A few days later I kept noticing itchy bumps all over my body growing in numbers. I kept thinking of all the possibilities it could’ve been . I am not the kind of person to go to peoples house let alone spend the night And they aren’t allowed at mine. I went with my mother who lives with me and she doesn’t do that either. So clearly the only place it could’ve been is here which makes sense bc this place is FILTHY. I’m in shock that I am the only one who has experienced this so far. I’ve never had anything like this happen so I am absolutely devastated that I have to destroy my house from the ground up to get rid of this and possibly not get them all. I am LIVID!!! I’m beyond upset. I am going to do something about this.

It needs some repair work, went to the restroom and the lock was off the door. We also didn't like paying 12 dollars a person if some of the seats was broken and it smelled bad in the room they played the movie. So I can only give a 3 star rating

I love going to the movies at this Malco! The seats are comfortable, the lobby is spacious and clean, and the snack line tends to move quickly. Some theaters have issues with temperatures being too hot or cold, but it was very comfortable in there! It's also nice that they have so many screens because that means more times are available for new showings!

I took a senior group to this place and they really enjoyed it. I lost my credit card and they retrieved it and saved it for me which was so very helpful. I love the amenities and the bathrooms were clean.

Don't go here at night too many rowdy young people and trigger happy cops. On the good side there is Quick ticket pick up with self service kiosk also concessions were quick and fresh. I went on a tuesday around noon and was part of the first to show up so this review is based on very low crowd

Friendly employees and excellent video and audio. Malco always has the latest technology when it comes to the viewing experience. My only complaint is the 3d glasses are usually still dirty when we get them and we have to clean them ourselves to enjoy the movie.

If want to actually watch a movie, don’t go here. We went to watch Creed II and there were kids talking, laughing, smoking weed and walking in and out of the theater the whole movie. The cops came in twice to address the situation. The teenage kids were on their best behavior when the cops came and basically yelled across the whole theater that he meant business. Once they left, they were at it again. Extremely distracting. If you’re a grown up, pick another theater.

I receive free tickets and $10 concession which was today for the 435 show with a friend the guy stated he wouldn't honor the $10 concession and I stated he said on my email with the ticket ID he tried to argue with me and I said just forget it then my friend left her sweater in the lobby and the guy didn't want her to come thru even with her tickets. The theatre lobby is being remodeled so Malco is changing that. However it does nothing for the rudeness of management, or the cleanliness of the place. I have went to multiple of their screens and all of them the seats are broken. Talk about 16 screens of disaster the floors in the theatres are sticky. Last visit the side bathrooms had no soap. This current management needs to get its act together. Either that or Malco may want to replace him.

Expensive $29.50 to see a movie for 2 adults and a 9 yr old. Popcorn and coke to share $11.25. The place had plenty of help but they were not friendly at all. The women's restroom was filthy. Toilets were all full of urine not flushed. I would find another place to spend my time and money . I'm not going back..other businesses there were also rude. Must be the area.

If you don't get fed up with the people who can't figure out what movie they want or get their money together before getting in line, you'll be fed up with the SQUEAKY CHAIRS. Most of the seating is blown out thanks to our lovely obesity epidemic or people trying to lie in your lap while watching a movie... Popcorn is usually stale, burnt, or inedible in general... Bathrooms are usually dirty. LADIES, stop trying to hover! You can put toilet paper down and sit like a normal person! It's DISGUSTING to walk into a stall and see urine on the seat and FLOOR! Many of the movie screens are messed up whether it's a giant streak on one area or the top half being distorted.. drive the extra miles to olive branch.

Last night was probably my last time going to this theater. My movie started at 620p but I ended up going in at 640p due to having to return my popcorn due to being given all kernals, then we had to wait until both butter wells were filled. After paying $12 for the movie and collectively spending $30 on snacks we deserved better treatment from the very rude and disrespectful so-called concessions manager, who treated me like it was my fault that they gave lousy popcorn and had empty butter. Even after I showed him my timestamped stub, he was still awful. If I am spending my hard earned money on already overpriced items, I should at least be treated with courtesy. I'll drive a little further out to a different theater in hopes of encountering better trained and respectful employees!!! By the way, I never received an apology for missing the start of my movie due to their poor service and the theater smells!
