3 - 4 of us have been going to the early 10:30am shows for around 3 years, this IMAX, then closed. Now it's open again the "Early" shows are 1 45pm - So, rules a percentage of movie goers out completly. Seats continue to be "Airline" seats, tight & uncomfortable. The upside was a great IMAX screen, however it hardly matters anymore with horrible times & seats - Plenty of theaters to choose from in the area, do miss IMAX screen. There are people who dont want to blow the entire Saturday away with 1:45pm times, early or late & use sunlight for other activities. Update, no longer a going concern, these days it's either RAVE or the Tavern. The early times for Saturday are getting more difficult to obtain.

My family and I usually love our experience at AMC, but last night not to much! The customer service was very unusually poor.... The guy who we purchased our tickets from was very nonchalant even when my husband asked about the movie membership, which he was considering, anyway we have a family of 3 in line for food after I gave my order the young lady with braids asked is that it? Of course not! At that moment we were being rushed and she was rude! My family food purchase was 60.00 dollars, not including our tickets, your staff almost caused a lost in business due to being unprofessional, and the popcorn was steal, this theater is going down slowly.

I've been to this theater several times in the past and the film and sound quality was excellent. It could have been kept a bit cleaner. However, once I went with a disabled friend and was shocked at how rudely she was treated by the staff. I, nor my friend, have been back since nor do we plan to attend in the future.

I Also Have mixed feelings about the new AMC. Deadpool was great, but I was disappointed with the new seats. They don't recline all the way back which makes it an awkward half sitting position. Also, they aren't as wide as Breckenridge's so it is slightly difficult to fully get comfortable. I also didn't like that the cup holders are on opposite sides of the chair, they want you to get two different drinks per couple. it makes it difficult to share with your husband bc you have to reach over the other seat and grab the drink. The middle arm rest within the two seats does go back so you could get a little extra room but it would be nice to have a cupholder there to share between the two people. Lastly, cashier's need to be more knowledgeable about scanning stubs credit from a phone and adding credit after a transaction.

They sold us the worst seats in the whole theater. Had to look up at a 90 degree angle the whole movie. My neck has never hurt as bad my entire life. Never get seats from the a section you will regret it.

Don’t go here it’s a waste of money and time.. never clean mangers are rude especially the general manger !! I wouldn’t even let my dog come to this theater . Oh and if you thought about working here don’t do it the job is trash people in it are trash that’s why I quit. One time I had a customer issue when I was working in box office and I didn’t know how to handle it so I asked over the walkie “could I get a manger to box “ the general manger (Austin) argues back and fourth with me over the walkie. For about 3 minutes before he Came down and the customer at the counter herd all of it ! She was very upset

My grandson came home VERY upset because of how my daughter got treated because she wanted her receipt. This is ridiculous... My daughter got called a privilege white girl because she asked for a receipt. She ordered her food they told her the total then when they saw she was paying cash they cleared it out. She asked for a receipt they told her they don't give receipts and she was holding the line up. She asked to talk to the manager the said no and moved cash registers. This is outrageous and totally uncalled for.

This rating is for their customer service line. I eat on hold for an hour because their website payments were glitching. The payment would not go through no matter how many times I checked it. I reported the glitch when I finally got through and all I got was okay. No concern that I had waited an hour on the number it said to call or that their was an issue.

I read a lot of reviews and wanted to go see for myself how the theatre was after their recent renovation. Yes, what people are saying about the seats in the IMAX theatre are correct, but I’ve seen worse. As for the service, it wasn’t like amazing, but I personally did not have a bad experience. I did come out of the movie once and saw the employees sitting on a counter, but overall no one was rude to me. I will be returning! :)

This was my first time back since the AMC change over and I was very disappointed. I came to see Ant Man & the Wasp in the new IMax theater, however it seems it was still the old theater. The seats were the same terrible seating as before. My popcorn was stale and pretzel bites tasted freezer burned. It's was not worth the visit. Try one of the other theaters around town for a better experience.

Went to the first show time on Sunday morning and it was obvious that the facility had not been cleaned after the shows on Saturday evening. The lobby was littered and dirty; glass doors/walls were covered with smudges and handprints; the bar area was roped off but popcorn was strewn across the tables; theater floor was sticky and littered with popcorn and candy wrappers. The women’s restroom had not been picked up from the day before, but it obviously had not been cleaned (with a mop, detergent, brush or cleaning cloth) in a long time. This was particularly depressing considering this theater has recently reopened under new management. It’s a great location for a theater ...but some changes need to be made in order for it to succeed. Hoping for improvements...,

Disappointing!!! Service was so-so -- I had someone who was very helpful and someone who was qualified but probably doesn't need to be in customer service. Seats recline back only 3/4's of the way and it leaves you in a somewhat uncomfortable position. Also, when I was leaving, there were two employees who handle food and beverages and they were out front smoking. I left my credit card so I called up there and the person that answer the telephone was somewhat rude and it took forever but the manager was very nice and was receptive to my concerns about employees smoking out front. Since it is new, hopefully they are just working out the kinks and we will give them another try.

I Loved it. Thank you Baby (Clint Trammell) for a great weekend. I really enjoyed our weekend get a way time to relax before the twins arrived. The time at the La Quinta, movies and much needed relaxation really was appropriated. Chenal 9 was great, clean, and the best one I have been to in a very long time. The Employees were on top of their jobs and we're very helpful. Answered everything we needed to know and yes I would recommend it to anyone. Would not be disappointed in your visit there.

Awful experience. Theater was still being cleaned 10 minutes after our movie was supposed to start. Then we waited 30 minutes in the theater only to be told that the show was canceled due to technical problems. Tried to get a refund and were told to call AMC. Called AMC and were told no refund because the tickets had already been scanned. Waste of $20+. Y'all should have made sure you had your act together before reopening. Won't be back.

We three arrived at the theater about 6:30p and there was one person in the ticket booth and she was on the floor and never got off the floor as she checked my online ticket purchase. The food/drink area was very dirty and closed during our movie so that we were unable to get refills on our large drink purchase. Our assigned seats were covered in food remains. The restrooms were dirty and lacked soap in the dispensers. One of the most concerning things was that when we left the theater at the end of the movie there were no theater employees to be seen! No security, no customer service. Very unprofessional and risky. Anybody could have walked through the front door carrying a weapon and walked in on us in the dark theater. Zero employees in the lobby. None to be seen anywhere! Surely the policies require someone in attendance at the door at all times! If they don't, they should!

Went to watch Incredibles 2 on the imax screen. First off the place was filthy. Thought about getting concession the stand had a random hot dog bun just sitting there no bag or anything. Popcorn all over the floor from the inside of the stand to the customer line to the inside of the theater. It was like following bread crumbs except the popcorn was everywhere. Imax theater did not have reclining seats so what was the point of the remodel? Screen didn't look like 4k quality I wonder if its a real imax projector.... seat numbers don't light up so if someone comes in after the movie starts they blind everyone with the light from their cell phone. Speaker quality was good but this place was not worth the money. Will not be returning.

This is a very nice theater in a great location. Unfortunately, the experience we have had there since the remodel/reopening was not good. We arrived for our Saturday matinee and our seats were covered in popcorn and spilled drink. We found empty seats in another row and sat there. The air conditioner blew on us the entire movie (it was December) and we wished we had a blanket. By that night, my son and I both had sinus issues that made us sick for nearly a week. The only thing we are allergic to is mold, and the only place we visited that day was the theater, so I'm assuming the ductwork has mold in it. I am hoping the management will devote more resources to cleaning and maintenance because this would be our favorite theater location. Until then, we are going elsewhere.

Always reasonably clean with good staff when I go. Just two complaints: the exit signs in the front of the theater are super bright, and the recliner footrests only come up halfway, which feels awkward. Tickets are more expensive online than at register FYI.

Great Imax screen; only one in city.. has a fantastic picture and sound quality..the rest of the screens have recliner seating and are great quality..however the concession stand is bit on pricier side..hope they take a leaf out of cinemark and have more number of movies to make it the best theater in city.

Well quality customer service that is willing to help at any notice. Since the refurbishing, the seating and theater looks bigger and better. The screen is literally in your face no matter where you sit with actual high definition surround sound that picks up on anything. Seats are comfortable with padding and can go full recliner mode or reset if needed. However I can say the walking space between the seat and the rail is small so depending on where you sit, you'll probably do a lot of leg moving. Also, very decent membership deals (A List, Premium, Basic) that have a reward system as well as discounts and other things.

There are better places in Little Rock than AMC Chenal 9 to see movies. Please go elsewhere. The first self service kiosk wasn't functioning. We went to a second and inquired with an employee about how it worked. The response was, "I don't know." We managed to get our tickets and finger print clad IMAX glasses and made our way to the theater. I'm not sure what was remodeled during the extended time the theatre was closed but the IMAX theater has well worn seats, cracked upholstery on the arm rests, and reclining seats that are displaced in their mounts, seats that are unusable and need to be replaced. My wife went to get a drink at the bar before our 12:30 PM movie. Apparently the bar is closed. The nearby employee reported the bar will open, "at 2:00 PM or 4:00 PM, I don't know when it opens". Then my wife went into the women's restroom and reported it was filthy. My wife brought these issues to the attention of several employees and her concerns were met with indifference and an excuse that “we are waiting for more hosts to arrive”. Unfortunately we wasted money for a year membership to the AMC loyalty program. We won't be using it again.

I really love this theater! They have very nice seats and small auditoriums, except for the IMAX. The small auditoriums make for very nice and comfortable environments combined with the chairs. The food is pretty good and can be delivered to your seat if you let them know.

Awful experience. Theater was still being cleaned 10 minutes after our movie was supposed to start. Then we waited 30 minutes in the theater only to be told that the show was canceled due to technical problems. Tried to get a refund and were told to call AMC. Called AMC and were told no refund because the tickets had already been scanned. Waste of $20+. Y'all should have made sure you had your act together before reopening. Won't be back.

We three arrived at the theater about 6:30p and there was one person in the ticket booth and she was on the floor and never got off the floor as she checked my online ticket purchase. The food/drink area was very dirty and closed during our movie so that we were unable to get refills on our large drink purchase. Our assigned seats were covered in food remains. The restrooms were dirty and lacked soap in the dispensers. One of the most concerning things was that when we left the theater at the end of the movie there were no theater employees to be seen! No security, no customer service. Very unprofessional and risky. Anybody could have walked through the front door carrying a weapon and walked in on us in the dark theater. Zero employees in the lobby. None to be seen anywhere! Surely the policies require someone in attendance at the door at all times! If they don't, they should!

Went to watch Incredibles 2 on the imax screen. First off the place was filthy. Thought about getting concession the stand had a random hot dog bun just sitting there no bag or anything. Popcorn all over the floor from the inside of the stand to the customer line to the inside of the theater. It was like following bread crumbs except the popcorn was everywhere. Imax theater did not have reclining seats so what was the point of the remodel? We love this theater. The new look is nice and the option for AMC's A-list movie subscription is awesome bonus. Seriously I recommended it if you watch 3 or more movies a month. Also the bar is great and has a large selection of liquors and beers. It even has some movie themed mixed drinks which is pretty cool. The quality of the the food is good its just hit or miss on which ones to eat. But it is a theater. Everyone in the theater is super friendly and the reclining chairs are ultra comfortable. Just wish the imax screen had them.

I can't believe that after being closed for remodeling for so long that they still had the old style seats, not the power recliners that most other theaters have today. The Imax theater seating was miserable. Too cramped with no room for people to get to their seats without stepping on everyone's feet and bumping into the heads with your butt! I will not be going back. Gave 3 stars because the screen was great.

I have mixed feelings. I like how clean the place is. Me and a friend saw Infinity War tonight in theater 9 I believe it was. They left the light on in the room where the projector is so a huge glare was on the screen the entire time. The seats are kinda small so if you are a larger fella I would recommend going to a different theater. The last and probably the MOST annoying thing is that the seats DO NOT go all the way up. They recline but the feet only go about halfway up. This puts you in a very awkward position in your seat. I would recommend going to either Breckenridge or the Rave.

Me and hubby went to go see "Cure For Wellness", and enjoyed it! Love the atmosphere..it was only 2 other couples in the screening so it was very quiet..the whole theater was quiet actually. And was very clean..even the ladies restroom was nice and clean! And tickets was way more cheaper at $15 for 2 tickets than the Regal we usually visit in North little Rock which tickets are always around $24 dollars for 2 everytime we go there. We will be visiting here next time again!!

We have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of the IMAX theater. Very disappointed that they did not add reclining seats to the IMAX theater! The IMAX screen is bigger than the Cinemark XD theater but the super comfy reclining seats make up for the slightly smaller screen. Chenal 9 used to be my go to theater before they closed for remodel. When that happened we started going to The Rave(Cinemark) and it looks like that is where we will be staying. Such a disappointment!
