We offer you all the opinions of real people who consumed the products of The Loft Cinema (Movie Theater) in Arizona area.
At the moment the firm gets a rating of 4.8 out of 5 and this rating was based on 1368 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is almost the top, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to give their score when they are pleased, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to give tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Movie Theater is included in the category of Movie theater.
Amazing theater, great staff and facilities.
Authentically retro. None of the cushy bells and whistles of the newer style theaters, but I found it fun and refreshingly different. They show interesting films that might not be shown elsewhere. Good spot.
They were sold out by the time I got there. 2:10 for 2:30 show. They are popular I will say that for certain.
I come here every week I can make it. Its a great art house theater and their Mondo Mondays are the best. The staff is always polite and its an all around great experience.
A Tucson classic movie theater. Must see & experience.
Great retro theater. What a treasure to have this. The popcorn is amazing as well.
Went for our first time to a Friday Night Shorts. It was a blast, and we will definitely be back!!
May first time at the Loft, Very comfortable seats..
This is a true gem of The Old Pueblo. From mondo mondays to documentaries you cant see outside the circuit, this place has it all. The entire staff is amazing, the food is great, and the atmosphere tops any regular cinema even lounge style theaters
Great movie theater and a wonderful experience. They show one-off original movies and time-honored masterpieces.
Great movie, no line, covered parking, clean and comfortable. Obviously geared to their customer with planned special events.
I didn't care about climbing up & down stairs to see the movie, and didn't like the popcorn. The movie was good thought.
Great movie and nice venue. Fair price on concessions, too. That's a nice change from other movie theaters.
Independent nonprofit theater with 3 screens. Wonderful movie programming with a variety of regular features (monthly series featuring director or actor, B movies, etc.) Best popcorn in town and other great local selections for snacks (tamales, pizza).
Fun theater with old time movies, new low budget films, and more. Alcohol here isn't really worth the price for what you get. I'd recommend drinking before then bringing some snacks. Seating here is close together and not super comfy, but it's worth it. Overall cheap tickets and fun experience.
This place was amazing. I was here quite a few years ago. Staff is so much fun. Bohemian Rhapsody Sing a Long was awesome.
One of my favorite places in Tucson. If you love movies, look into getting a membership. There is a discount for students.
Friendly staff and volunteers. Great remodel with comfortable seating. Screen and spinds are clean and clear. Very supportive community and great independent film choices.
Full House... sold out showing & a great program. The popcorn was terrific!
What can I say I won tucsons Got Talent at that theater
Great community theater. Comfy with couches, and good snacks and drinks.
Quirky staple of the community. Chill place to let your freak flag fly (or just witness other freak flags). Great venue for cult movies. Awesome organic popcorn and draught beer. Get there early if you want a good seat because the shows tend to sell out.
The most comfortable cinematic experience in Tucson!
The best and only place to see indie movies in Tucson. The theaters are large newly renovated, and they offer a good selection of snacks and drinks. Look out for special events they hold such as Stephen King Halloween movie marathons, live action Rocky Horror picture show, and special premieres with directors!
I took my grandchildren to see Charlotte's Web. All of the staff and volunteers were so nice and helpful.
Unique experience as far as a theater goes. Plays movies that are culturally relevant regardless of how old. Not a lot of space to move between isles.
Very nice theatre, newer seats very comfortable. The snack bar served adult beverages, they had sandwiches, popcorn, pizza and tamales + candy, something for everyone.
Great theater with amazing programming. Had a blast seeing Joe Bob Briggs here!!
Love the loft. Cool nostalgic theatre
Not your typical theater but it works. Seats could be more comfy. Sound is great.
Wide screen but narrow ticketing space.
Very fun and well organized;
Two people talking and laughing throughout the whole movie today,Everybody Knows, they almost ruined it for everyone else. otherwise great theater and movies.
What a treasure. The best place to see your favorite movie and new releases.
Watched Apollo 11. Pretty good. Sound system could use a little more subwoofer bass. That rocket engine firing up should have vibrated fillings loose!
Yow! Simply awesome. The Loft is our new best friend. Beer and wine, snacks like organic popcorn, a great main viewing room and large screen, excellent sound system, cool kids at the counter, and even an outside cafe table area for kicking back before and after your film experience. The Loft Cinema has a nice eclectic film schedule in addition to new releases of the first kind. If I lived within a half-hour of the theater I'd be a weekly regular. I live 1.5 hours away and will definitely make it a regular stop for my bi-weekly shopping visits. We saw the new flick, Free Solo, and it was superb on the big screen.
Never a disappointment. Quality movies and documentaries in a nostalgic atmosphere.
The documentary of Indigenous runners very informative. Theater seats comfortable, popcorn good.
My first visit to the Loft- I love it! Great sound, comfortable seats and great choice of upcoming films. I can't wait to come back!
Saw Princess Mononoke here recently and it was awesome. Beats any theater in Tucson.
I think this place is too trendy for me. If you're going for just a movie, it's fine. They play old movies and cult classics, and host things like art shows, which makes it unique. The theaters themselves, in my experience, are average. Food is neither good or inexpensive.
Love it. There a gem in our city
Gr8 old theater, good movies, documentaries. Like all cinemas, the concession stand is SPENDY.
I love the loft because of the variety of movies they have. It is not another main stream movie house. Plus my membership gives me loads of perks.
Always so awesome here. Cheap. Clean. Great snacks. Epic movie selection.
Always a wonderful experience. Good food, brilliant think pieces and an awesome vibe!
Excellent as always! Great place to see Cinema!!
Sing a long nights r great
One of the last remaining art cinemas. A real diamond in the rough.
The loft has always been a staple of my movie going experiences in Tucson. It's a classic theater and originally the largest Tucson. They've updated it with current hardware while maintaining the charm of the original place. The staff are always kind and the prices of concessions are always reasonable. They treat members really well and have lots of fun screenings. If you haven't been to the loft before you definitely need to go.
Always enjoy going to The Loft. True it is a movie theater, but it is so much more. Broadway shows live on screen transports you to another place. Cult Classics and Midnight Movies bring so many people together. Be sure to pick up their monthly magazine with movie times and articles to plan what you'll be seeing on the big screen.
Fun theater! Love the Cat Video Fest!
Loved the movie and speaker about the first lunar landing. Comfortable seats and good viewing experience.
Very very good experience went to go see a movie directed produced by Peter Leon really enjoyed it good turn out had a great time
The loft is the best!
This place is amazing. They show amazing films and seems to really care about the community. The food is all incredibly priced too.
Great prices and great shows
Clean, cozy, comfortable, and great selection of films. Very warm employees! But best was the prices!
Sci-fi Slumber Party was great! Cannot believe I stayed all night. 6 movies in 12 hours.
Wonderful experience! Friendly staff. Great Around Sound!!!
A theater like this is a truly rare and exceptional prize. All Tucsonans should make a point to support and attend this local cinematic gem. It's clean. It's cozy. It's affordable. They show films that you can't even find in most states in this country. Many more years of service and blessings on this establishment!
This plane is great! They curate their movies so well. I recommend trying to see the movie you're interested in on screen 1. They have a 70 mm projector available there there, very comfortable seats with fold-away arm rests, and the screen itself is huge. On top of everything they have good beer available and pretty decent food options. Tucson should be extremely thankful to host this establishment.
It's a old fashion theater, shows educational films, as well as old western movies, it's fun & cute there.. Its not my go to place as much, but it does get really busy so it's a lot of other people's place to go,, you have to try it
Great place to see independent films and documentaries. They also play classic and cult classic movies that you may have missed seeing on the big screen (e.g. 2001 a Space Odyssey). But the best part is they serve a large selection of craft beers, and were one of the first theaters to do so.
A wonderful place with incredibly nice people
Such a perfect "Tucson" place. Friendly small business with lots of passion for what they do and the community.
It is always a treat to go to The Loft. The movies shown at The Loft are not always available for viewing at the conventional theaters. The Loft is a charming place. As members, we love getting the free popcorn, and my husband said that the pizza, which comes from Fresco Pizza, is of gourmet quality.
Older theater but decent and comfortable
Love the free movies during the Loft Kids Fest, and so do my granddaughters
Loved Ram Das' film Becoming Nobody. Very transformational! Please bring more spiritual films to the theater. So important in these decisive days in our world. Thank you for making a difference.
I can't give this place anything less than five stars. If I could give more I would! The loft really goes out of it's way to have an interesting and well thought out schedule. The staff that works there is super engaged and it really shows in everything they do. There is a membership package that gives you discounts and access to special events. There is pretty much no downside to being a member. Sign up!
This is definitely a great place to see a movie. Wish it wasn't so far from me. But they've always got a good selection and they're always showing special events like older classics and or B type movies a few times a week. Great snack bar with beer. The employees are very nice! I will continue to keep going here whenever I can.
One of the best movie selection s you'll find anywhere
Awesome People hanging at the Loft for WOODSTOCK -THE DIRECTORS CUT
One of the true Tucson treasures. Great place for films.
Pretty dope place lol :)
It consists of three theaters. The main theater has recently been updated and is comfortable with excellent viewing and sound. The upstairs theater show some wear and tear. It's smaller but still an enjoyable venue. The one negative side is there is no sound barrier from the downstairs area, so when the large theater empties out or open for a show, you can hear the patrons downstairs. Prices are good and they serve adult beverages. They do not show new releases but a huge selection of classics, cult classics, documentaries, indie films, and weekend cartoons. A great theater that with a little more support, to continue upgrading, will get my fifth star.
This is the perfect place to escape the Tucson heat and have an exotic beer while you take in a movie! Several choices and you get to support a non-profit organization that cares about indie films. Love the Loft!
Awesome fun. Moana sing along!
Love the movies here & the free member popcorn!
Very nice place to see unusual and fun films. Friendly people in front. Theater has been refurbished and is considerably improved. A nice place to go to.
Great movie. Seats uncomfortably small.
Movies for thinking, feeling. What a concept. Great movies that generate discussion and don't always end as expected. Film festivals, Monday is cult movie night at 8 for cheap. Sometimes directors presents at some screenings. Three screens at main locations. Sometimes movies shown on a drive in, or at Himmel park. Locally owned and operated (I think). Movie posters available at times. I believe the main screen is still the largest art screen in the US. Use their website it find what is playing today. Screen too is a bit small, but it does have a couch in the front. No kidding.
Love their special events!
So great! Proud to live in an area that has a solar powered movie theater with indie flicks and great events. Anxiously awaiting a day I can go in on Mondo Mondays.
Wonderful selection of movies great environment, awesome staff, good selection of food and beverage
The best place to see independent films in Tucson!
Great place to watch classic films
Very nice place
The movies are fabulous. Not run of the mill.
Love the movies they have from independent to Calt classic. They have two theaters. One is much bigger than the other one. I saw the movie "Se7en" in there which was amazing
We love going to events at the Loft
The Loft is the best place in Tucson to go see a movie. From the wide selection of movies shown to the friendly and helpful staff to the fact that they'll sell you a beer as big as your head, it's a good place. If you can support an independent theater like the loft, and especially one as good as the loft, you should do it.
Love this place. All kinds of shows for all ages. Love the popcorn.
Classic old school cinema perfect for true afficianados! Great selection of indie, documentary, cult classics and contemporary films
My first time here and I was impressed.
We took the kids here for a free movie during the hot summer. They have a kids summer movie series each year. They gave all of use free tickets, free popcorn and provided a free kids activity before the movie started. Also, they gave each of my kids a free comic book. The theater was nice, kinda of old school but cool nonetheless. I noticed that they sell draft craft beer - will have to come back for an adults night to enjoy that. This place oozes positive energy, all the workers were really nice and accommodating. We will be back to the wonderful Loft cinema in Tucson!!!
Unique theater experience
Great. Last of the art house cinemas. Diverse tastes.
This is by far my favorite theater in Tucson. The theaters are unique, the staff friendly, movies always of an incredibly high quality, and the experience is usually off-beat and unique. For example, the Mondo Mondays; cheap prices for awful cult movies that everyone loves to laugh at. Additionally, there are the "First Friday Shorts", a collections of community made films that encourage an interactive audience. And that's only two of the many activities at the loft.
Love this place they have great themed parties
A superbly designed, well kept and most unique place to find some of thee most eccentric movies. Plus they have a great selection of food and beer that’s wide in variance. I loved all parts of it! Thx!
The Loft is awesome! It's a landmark that makes living in Tucson even more enjoyable! There's movies for all types of film buffs. Great film festival and local providers of refreshments! The staff is kind and helpful.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I am so proud to say that I went to Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was 16, many many moons ago, and was able to take my 16 year old son to the last showing. The actors were hilariously PERFECT and I can't wait to go again!!! Thank you Loft Cinema, and the local cool kids, for keeping this show alive all these years
Saw the Pavoratti documentary. A must see even if you're not into opera!
Favorite theatre in town. Only place where I can enjoys my indie and foreign films.
Remodeled so seats are comfy. Great staff, delicious snacks and interesting and artsy movies. Try it you won't regret it.
I love this place. I've been a loft member and I really enjoyed it, I love how this theatre loves Tucson and it's people. They host really fun movie events, and have great selections. Also I highly recommend First Friday night shorts, never a let down, always hilarious.
Best cinema in Tucson. 'Nuff said...
Been visiting the loft since I was a kid and it's honestly a gem of Tucson. The staff is always friendly and considerate, fair prices and ever since the remodel in the main theater it's super comfortable. If you're not already a member it would be well worth it if you visit just once a month.
It's an old style movie theater and they have very cool old movies. They also have a variety of food and drinks and they serve alcoholic beverages.
I wish the service here was nicer, because I love the idea of an independent theater. But I guess this is their "thing": most of the employees having an attitude...? They certainly have nice snacks and drinks to offer at concessions. And an intriguing movie selection.. It just sucks that service with a smile is way too much to ask here.
The Loft has been a wonderful part of Tucson for decades. My 8 year old and I enjoyed the summer free movies on Saturday, thank you Loft!
Very fun enjoying Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
The best place to catch indie flicks in Tucson. They have good food choices and you can order beer and wine! Be sure to get the upstairs theater - they have couches for seating in the first 2 rows.
Very friendly staff, lots of smiles. We went for a Loft Jr movie, so sometimes it's a bit rough with a ton of kids, but it was great. Lots of fun and will definitely go back.
One of a kind community art house movie theater - clean, modern, with selections for all tastes
Very hot inside. It wasn't even summer. I think they are trying to save money by not running the coolers. Who knows. Either way, it was uncomfortable. Exactly how you don't want to feel while watching a movie.
Love this theater, I saw Godfather 1 and 2 there for the first time in 2008. They show a good variety of foreign and independent movies. They also serve alcohol.
Great movie and atmosphere.
Screen#1 is great! Perfect for viewing 'Apollo 11'
A very innovative and satisfying presentation of films, which cater to all sorts of film preferences. There are many special, very worthwhile film events. Go there!
Very friendly staff and the Best movies
Another awesome place to go in Tucson. Not your regular theater experience. Lots of indipentant films, documentaries, old movies, and everything else. They have beer, food, ice cream, and a great outdoor area to hang out and wait for a movie. It's worth checking out. They have a variety of different membership options which helps keep them in business. They have pre-screening shows depending on the membership tier, and some rad shirts too.
Great movie house. Food prices pretty high but seats comfy and has hearing impaired rooms.
Amazing times were had by all! Host was wonderful and I absolutely had a great experience! Can't wait to return!
Great theater, eclectic mix of shows
This wonderful theater is not just great because you're supporting locally owned, they have GMO Free Popcorn, fantastic film's, and other great refreshments
I wanted to leave a couple of stars open for improvements. Specifically, its just that if your going to work in a service oriented field such as entertainment, be oriented thusly! Yes, one female cashier Staffer I experienced this nite can ruin your 1st visit. That being said, this place is kinda cool. I rarely drink but they do serve beer and wine. Tamales n pizza too. I got in for under 7 bucks as a Sr. The seats aren't fancy lookin but once you sit down-they're comfy. Plenty of seats for any packed movies that may be shown here. I will be back......
I always love supporting the loft. They have great fan flicks and old, campy movies.
We LOVE this theatre! Great folks and mind opening flicks!
Went here because it was the only theater in the state showing a movie. Was pleasantly surprised and will be back as often as possible. Great atmosphere, fun staff and crowds, comfy theatres, tasty snacks at real world prices. Overall one of the best movie going experiences.
As a first time viewer at the Loft I found it fun and warm and friendly. Look forward to seeing more shows.
Overpriced concessions, pizza was old. I guess this isn't my kind of place....most of the movies are indecent. Staff was friendly enough.
I’ve been to The Loft dozens of times and usually have had a good time. A few times the audience had been so loud and obnoxious it detracted from the movie, but that just happens at public movies sometimes. Recently though I went to a Mondo Movie night for a date with my boyfriend on what appeared to be a quiet night. After getting drinks and food in an almost empty lobby, we went to sit in the theatre. We had been looking forward to this movie for a few weeks. To our surprise, the theatre was PACKED with rowdy patrons, with maybe four visible seats scattered throughout the theatre. It was a chaotic scene. When we went back to the main counter, we let the employee know that we had come to see a movie together and we weren’t able to sit together because the theatre was nearly full. They informed us they would give us our money back this time but not before making it very clear that TECHNICALLY there were still several available seats. I told them I thought they should let people know if the theatre was filling up and their answer was basically that they were giving me what I wanted so what was the problem? Clearly the problem was that I don’t want to plan a date night at a theatre weeks in advance only to be casually sold tickets to a overly-full theatre. The only thing we could have done was come earlier and found a seat somewhere before the rest of the raucous crowd showed up, but honestly that movie experience sounds miserable. It was an incredibly condescending way for that employee (Candace) to handle the situation and although I’ve had many interactions with other employees over the years (exceedingly friendly ones) this altercation left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth. I can see why some people would enjoy coming here, but I don’t think this is the kind of place I want to support anymore. After spending over $20 on snacks and drinks, the least they could do is simply give us our money back, without trying to make some kind of point about their policies and theatre seating logistics. They made it sound like this is something that could happen again, and next time they may not give our money back. No thanks. I’d rather watch a movie literally anywhere else.
My best friend and I went to see The Lost Boys and it was such an amazing experience! The entire theater (INSIDE & OUT) is so beautiful! And every employee was so happy and helpful! I love this place! Thank you Loft Cinemas for such a great night. I'm coming back!
Funky theater. I mean that on a nice way. I love watching my faves and some of my new faves on the big screen.
Great place to go and watch a movie. Easy to find. Excellent parking lot.
Clean, comfortable, pleasant movie experience.
Had a great time at the Bohemian rhapsody sing-a-long.
Love all three screens. Member benefits are great
Always a great experience!
Great theater! Bringing in old movies, sing-a-longs, and much more. Enjoyed watching the Deconstruction of the Beatles series they have presented and looking forward to the other upcoming Beatles series. Nice concession area and helpful staff!
Great fun Moana sing a long!
The seats were comfortable, but the floor is not sloped. Therefore when an electric wheelchair stopped in front of my seat I couldn't see the bottom of the screen. The film we watched had a lot of text on the bottom of the screen.
Best film.offerings on town. The Farewell was phenomenal!
Very fun theatre that often hosts free events. It's a Tucson treasure.
Best independent movie theater in Arizona. Three screens, amazing juried selection of films, movie-themed food trucks, beer and wine, and fun events!
