I went there yesterday with my two sisters and my mother to see Jurrasic World Fallen Kingdom and it was a blast. I enjoy going every time. The popcorn is fresh and you have many options for candies. They have many movies playing at once and they have all the new features. When picking your seat, you have a choice of roughly 100 and most aren't filled (unless it's the premire). They offer amazing deals like throwback Tuesday and over the summer they offer a deal to view 10 movies for a very small price. The screen quality is great and they make you feel like you're in the movie, which in turn can make you jump at jumpscares. Everyone in the theater respects each other by not talking and having cell phones disabled. The only talking done is silent whispering. The seats are made so that even short people can see quite well. They have great service and usually small lines. They have a great establishment and give a discount for seniors and military. 5/5 would recommend to a friend.

This Harkins is not updated. The age group of patrons are either high school (super loud and phones during the movie) or 60 year old and older who complain and talk all the way through the movie. All of them rude and I just have never enjoyed seeing a movie here.

I love the Harkins Shea 14 precisely because they have not installed the new style seats. It seems that it is the last indie movie house in the Valley, and I hope it does not change seats or genre. I prefer to be able to go to the movies spontaneously if I choose to, and to not make it an affair similar to booking an airline ticket. Also, installing the new seating is driving the price of movie tickets into the stratosphere, and most of the movies that are cranked out simply are not worth the price of admission. If I'm in the mood to sit in a theater to escape the heat, I'm happy to drive from Glendale to go to Shea 14. Mr. Harkins, please keep Shea 14 "old school" and indie. It is still a fabulous and comfortable theater.

Well kept theatre & multiple movie choices. Located in a plaza with several restaurant choices from a coffee house to ethnic foods. Even non meat eaters can find pleasure, all grouped so that you don't have to walk half a mile to eat & to the movie.

Google Maps was wrong about how to enter this location, so I'm glad I came in earlier. It's best to enter on the Shea side. Don't turn like the GPS will direct you. I loved this movie theater, surrounded by the eye candy stores. Parking lot is kinda small, and so is the theater. Concession stand prices were very high. Screening room was small, but I liked the coziness and the rocking seats. Bathrooms were spotless.

We have been in AZ for 2 weeks visiting and went to this theatre 4 times. Each time the employees were very friendly and helpful, especially when my husband left his phone in theater at the last movie of the night. They offered to wait for him to drive back and pick up his phone at midnight. Great experience and comfortable rocking seats.

Lots more indies than the other Harkins (well except for Camelview). So if you like the small pictures or foreign films, you're going to end up at this location. No recliners or that fancy stuff. But it's a Harkins - so bring your cup and get your $1.50 refill and settle in for your favorite film.

This isn't your modern type of theater with reserved seating and reclining chairs, it's old school, but still comfortable. I love it for that. Its character, its movie-going atmosphere is like a warm blanket. It's also frequently the only place in the Valley playing movies that I want to see, so its existence is a gift. Never change, Shea 14!

Love bringing the kids to see movies at harkins! They love that they can use the machine to buy the tickets. We also have a refillable cup and the popcorn rewards so we are able to save a ton of money getting drinks and snacks which makes going to the movies way more enjoyable for the parents too!

It's not quite in the same league as some of the newer luxury theaters, but it's still one of the better ones in the Phoenix area, and usually my first choice because it's the closest to Fountain Hills. Accessibility is very good, with multiple wheelchair ramps, and the concession counter has enough cash registers to keep the lines moving.

I deplore Harkins and AMC. I'm a Pictureshow guy. However, Shea 14 is the only theatre in the valley that still brings in great indie films ever since they closed Camelview. It's the only Harkins I will still step foot in.

Went to see Josh Grobin's New York concert. He has such a magnificent, beautiful, powerful voice. I was so disappointed in the lack of sound at this theater. The whole thing sounded muffled, very low sound. They could have at least played his concert in surround. I spoke to the manager after the film. She couldn't have cared less. I won't waste another cent at Harkins Shea 14.

Everyone wants change,tear down and upgrade to stay competitive is the name of the game now days.Well i believe if it ain't broken dont fix it and this applies nowhere more than Shea 14.The Shea as i call it is a mix of box office hits and much "much" lesser known movies that most people would never get a chance to see unless they lived in like New York or somewhere with large art house scen..i have to say Dan Harkins is doing us right by caring more about people and their movie experience than just pennies.(there is no way he makes money at this location) also please please look into Jewish festival held at this location uddallyuend of January beginning of February,it is a week of movie going adventure you will not soon forget...Trust me try this theater out they soon will become one of if not your very most favorite

Home to the Scottsdale International Film Festival each fall. Great staff and all of the great virtues of Harkins Theatres. Plus if you're doing dinner and a movie, over 10 great options within walking distance.

This is one of the nicest theaters I've ever been in so I give it 4 stars. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because they don't serve alcohol. Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino their theater serves alcohol full bar and I give them 5 stars
