Took my granddaughter to see The Secret Life of Pets2 today. We loved it. I am handicapped and sometimes its a little hard to get around in a public place. Everyone that helped me today at Harkins Theater Gateway Pavilions was very friendly and helpful. Thankyou so much for such a positive happy experience. And a special thanks to the young man who helped me find the money that dropped out of my purse and somehow ended up in the row of seats in front of us. Again thanks

I like Harkins, the theaters are nice and I like the way you can buy the cup and have it refilled cheap. The popcorn t-shirt is a good idea too. I don't like movie theater popcorn though. Nice bargain and a locally owned business. I like that.

I like this place, we go at least once a month, they never run out of tickets, like in harkins theaters estrella location, is clean, the reason I give 4 stars is when you want a refill takes time, some times I have to get in line and the movie keeps going and nobody likes to miss a lot....

This is basically any other old school Harkins. You can reserve seats but they're the old ones that aren't very comfortable and put you way too close to the other viewers. I'll be more than happy to come back once they update-if they update to the big comfy seats. But for now it's only somewhere I'll go if there aren't seats anywhere else.

In my opinion, its not pricey at all, but I am a member of harkins awards and a popcorn member (which is free medium bag, $1 for each upgrade). However, there is this one manager that tries to "catch" me doing something bad, and always approaches me asking me for my ticket anytime she sees me. Other than that, it's alright.

Very good movie theater but they should update their rules, a few months ago I went to go watch a horror movie (the nun) and there were 3 ladies with babies who were under 2 years old crying throught like 20 minutes of the movie and they didn't even walk out. I understand they are kids but it's a horror movie rated R not a PG movie.

The theatres and bathrooms are kept clean. There are a good amount of attendants stationed at posts and at the refreshments counter, even on slow days. The quality of the food, tho overpriced, is quite good for a theatre as well.

There changing things. Now u pick your seat and people have no idea were your seating? I was there and about 20 people we all sat in a bunch and the rest of the seats were empty. People were lost and getting upset with each other cause someone was in there seats. Didnt enjoy movie

My dad is a hard working man and rarely gets a night out and when he does we go to the movies. We came here the guy at the concession stand gave us crumbs in our popcorn bag, loaded the cup with ice when we asked him not to do that, and to top it off I got into an argument with other guests because of the dumb reserved seating. They refused to move seats smh! When I went to complain at guest services they just said "sorry" smh we missed a good portion of the movie.

My favorite theatre. I've been spoiled by the reclining seats. Staff is usually pretty friendly. And being able to select your seat beforehand makes it way more stress free about being able to get the seat you want.

Early shows are priced to high and the loyalty cup is medium sized and you have to pay for every refill even on the same day AMCs loyalty bucket you pay for refill only once for the day but staff was very friendly and place was clean aside from the huge piles of posorn on the floor behind the counter at concession stand yea i was looking forward to having popcorn until i saw that then i decided to just not make a purchase

Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4U! If you're in the mood to hangout at night with friends and family and enjoy a movie this theater is for you! Very clean and friendly customer service. The theater provides a small arcade area and a day care center for parents who have small children. Just make sure to book the day care online as they will not accept walk in day care service. Multiple cashiers at the food court section to help speed up the popcorn and food line. The restrooms are clean and even includes a family restroom. Seats are very comfortable with good legs space. The arm rests contains cup holders and can be moved up to provide more space. The movie theater area is located near a variety of restaurants and stores making your movie theater experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

They took the old cheap seats and made it so you could reserve them. Unlike the arrowhead location where they put in nice comfy seats. But charge the same. Just too expensive to go see movies anymore and be uncomfortable too.

I have always loved this theater but last week changed everything. I definitely won't be visiting this harkins again. The lights went down and the sound came on but no movie showed.... blank screen. So I waited a bit thinking surely someone would fix it... but nope! So I went and found someone, told them and they checked it out and went to the manager. I ask the first young man and the manager... would the movie be started over... they both said yes... but of course it wasn't. As I was leaving I saw the manager and he made an immediate u turn and took off..... so no more love for this harkins.

Harkins Theatre's are one of the best places in town since the tickets they sell have a fair price compare to AMC theatre (WestGate). Usually they rarely host 3D movie tickets to see; depending on how much they sell the ticket. I've been coming here to go see movies for years, and I won't lie. It's one of the best. The staff are friendly & helpful giving out directions once you purchased your ticket. A friendly greeter will show you where the movie film will be hosting. Overall, I never had a bad experience without quality customer service. Inside the entrance they have a small children's playroom where they watch movies or play games, on the opposite side of the room they have a small arcade game which you can only buy off coins from the vending machine (cash only I'm afraid). Across the room facing the main entrance is the food counter where you can order food, popcorn, snacks & beverages (they also have complements on the house once you finished your order, so be sure to ask where they keep it) As the movie itself, be sure to leave a review & let others knows of what you think.

As much as I HATE having to pick my seats before I go to the theatre... It IS convenient and those chairs at this theatre ARE comfortable (so this is not a plus or a minus for me just different and kind of a retro throwback lol). Everyone was nice and everyone was helpful. I would go back to this theatre.

I'm a Harkins devotee, but this location is trying my patience. Bottom line: They are either understaffed or do not deploy the staff they have correctly. It takes forever to get a movie ticket, then it takes forever to get through concessions. I just got back from a Sunday night show, and it took me roughly 17 minutes (timed it) to get through the ticket line and concessions. All windows weren't manned and there were cash registers to spare. If it's the company being cheap: Gimme a break, you are making a killing at this location. If it's managerial incompetence: Get someone in there that can manage their personnel. If you're looking to go to this location Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night, show up early!

My all time favorite movie theater ever. I've never witnessed any arguments here. No messes. No dirty bathrooms. Every expectation is up to par. I love that they have student discounts and don't get me started on those Tuesday night classics. Always fun to see. Concession stands are always full when a new movie comes out but they make sure the lines don't stop for a moment. Snacks are a bit pricey as are all theaters but quality is great.

My family and I have been patronizing this Harkins for nearly 3yrs sense our move to AZ. The Environment here is friendly and quick!!!! More movie showings and seats available even for main events such as, avengers end game!!! My family and I were able to find good seating here for Avengers : End Game during the opening launch!!! What separates this Harkins from others that we have been at, they have their own In house child care, titled play center, for the price of a ticket! My daughter and I love their services and she even asks to go back :)! They have games,arts, toys and even their version of a movie where the kids have popcorn too!!! The staff at child care are amazing and friendly!!! Ide recommend this Harkins and for being family friendly with younger children in mind is a huge plus!

I have no issues with the place. We use the self-serve ticket kiosks and in less than 30 seconds we're inside. The interior is clean and the seats themselves are nothing to write home about but they're not upsetting.

This is usually a great theater to go to, unfortunately, I went on Sunday to catch a late movie, we had already purchased our tickets earlier that afternoon, well when we got there we thought it would be a breeze to get in, get snacks and in to our movie since it was pretty dead. This was not the case AT ALL!!! We stood in line for 10 minutes at the concession stand (with management just standing around) and only 1 person ahead of us, once it was our turn we ordered our popcorn and a pretzel . . . . Then had to wait another 20 minutes just to get the pretzel!!!! By this time our movie was already 15 minutes in!!! We decided to just get a refund, so we went to the customer service counter and the manager that was there seemed irritated that he had to refund our tickets, he didn't offer us a later showing, an apology, or even 2 free tickets! By this time we were so frustrated we then decided to just get a refund on the snacks as well, so we had to go back to the concession stand and let them know what was going on so we could get the refund, and the manager just kept throwing his breath and I guess had no idea how to do a refund, (we waited another 20 min. for this refund) this was the WORST experience I've ever had at this theater. We are very patient people but this was just too much for us!! By the time we got out of there it had almost been a hour!!! Won't be going back, I'll go spend my money somewhere else, with better service and fresh popcorn!!

The theater was messy and in a all around sub par state. The food court was an absolute disaster it took almost 30 minutes for them to get our order out to us not including the wait in line just to order. The bathrooms were discusting urine and paper all over the floor. The theater itself looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in months our seats and armrests were sticky and had food still in the chairs this harkins is hands down the worst cinema I have ever been to. I definitely will never go back to this particular theater again. We tried to let the floor manager know the state of outlr experience on our way out and they basically blew us off and ignored us

Always a good time! My only concern is they need a Popcorn refill Only Line. It's so annoying rushing out of a movie to get popcorn and you are greeted by 15 lines full of people. 20 minutes later after people cut from one line to another you finally get back to the movie.

My wife got tickets on fandango for Overcomer at Harkins. However when we got there, she couldn't pull the email confirmation. Harkins was great checking into the situation, and getting us taken care of, also the was great. Now we want to see Cats, I still Believe, and It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

Cine one is the way to go, if you want to see a movie with the biggest screen in Arizona then you must come to Harkins, also you can take your drink to the theater which is a plus!!

High prices for an older theatre. Needs updated seats, and more reasonable pricing to be competitive. AMC costs are similar but the theatre's are always in much better condition.
