The whole picking seats feature is kinda whack. No point in getting to movies early now so there's heavier traffic in parking lot and concessions near movie time

We love going to Harkins to see movie! They have great service and this location is never overly busy. They still have regular chairs vs the recliners but they're still comfortable. Video quality and sound is always good. my only complaint is price of snacks but I think most theaters have it this way. Loyalty cup is worth it as is the reward membership.

This place is amazing, its nice and new and modern. They have a bar in the lobby so if you want to enjoy some drinks and watch a movie you can. The staff is one of the nicest in town. The place is always clean, in the theater and in the lobby. The one and only knock on the place would be the parking lot, it is big but it also shares it with all the places around it, so parking can be a challenge on like a Friday or Saturday night and you may have to walk a little ways but it is totally worth it for the fantastic experience.

One person at the window selling tickets on a Friday night! Friendly staff. Girl selling concessions gave out incorrect information about the mozzarella sticks. She asked a coworker to clarify which was great but he also gave the incorrect answer. They both said the mozzarella sticks came with 8. FYI there are only four for $5. The food guy incorrectly gave me church's instead. Had to wait for my order to be remade. Spent 12 minutes at concessions which made me miss previews. First time to buy food and last time to buy food. Only purchased food because I missed dinner. Next time I will be more prepared.

I dont leave reviews but my experience with john is same. Not a good manager needs training and communication skills. I AM NO longer a harkins customer. It is sad how bad management can ruin such an easy entertainment experience . Word of advise basic customer service 101

It's got a nice little bar but no child care area (very few Harkins have both). Overall the staff is friendly but it's hard for them to keep up when it's super busy, you also have to remind them to put in your rewards member number to get the points.

I HATED that you had to pay extra money to pick your seats when you buy your tickets. sometimes there aren't enough spaces in the theater for your party and you'll need to split up or wait for another time and go EARLIER!

Concession Guy was so rude!!! He didn’t recite my order and he was very racist!!! I’m like “dude your in the southwest and near the border , your bound to see brown colored folks. This area is a huge Native America and Hispanic community. I think these teenagers need cultural diversity sensitivity and customer service training.

Great theater. Always clean and the staff is always friendly. I see at least 25 movies a year there and have never had a problem. Only negative i can think of is the french fries. They are air heated or something similar and are not very tasty. Wish they had a real fryer.

It's a good theater but management should step up and train their concession staff better. Sometimes they are rude and have no idea what they are doing. I asked one of them to put the butter all they way through the bag of pop corn not just on the top. He had no idea what I was talking about. One of them, an overweight girl two weeks ago treated me so rudely I had to complain about her. The person I complained to just stared at me blankly. Nobody apologized. Just nothing. I was paying for my popcorn and realized I had just lost my debit card, which I had just used to pay for my ticket. I told the girl I needed to walk over to the ticket counter and see if I left my debit card there. She told me firmly that I was not going to take my bad of popcorn until I paid for it. I explained the situation and she said she didn't care. I guess she had to guard this bag of popcorn from a possible popcorn thief. I told her her customer services skills were bad and she just stared at me with a blank stare. Terrible customer service experience.

The new adult bar is nice, not crowded, super clean, and a convenient way to get adult beverages that you're allowed to take into the theater, a maximum of 2 drinks. Bartender was super friendly as i waited there for my friends to arrive for the movie. Theater was nice and clean as has been my usual experience there. It's still general admission, unlike Chandler Fashion Mall which has been renovated to recliners and reserved seating; i asked the bartender if she'd heard if Crossroads would be getting renovated for reserved seating and she had not heard. Recommended destination for movies!

Theater is okay. Even though you are allowed to choose your seat, the theater has the old style chairs; prices are the same but seats do not recline. Crossroads needs to remodel or lower their prices.

This is not my usual Harkins (I prefer San Tan), but it had the showing we wanted. This theatre always seems busy and parking is difficult, but they have plenty of staff, so getting concessions was not a long wait on a Friday night. The theatre is clean and well kept and staff are friendly. The showing went well and patrons were respectful during the movie. The reason for my three stars however is because of one critical thing, the popcorn. In a place so busy, you would think it was fresh, but it was stale, hard, and probably at least a day old. That is one thing I won't forgive in a theatre. You better have great popcorn, or you ruin the experience.

Reserved seating is a joke should up 30 min early to get a good seat. I will no longer go to Harkins please got to Regal theatre it actually has good seats that recline. And better prices

It's a really nice theatre but I do wish that it had the upgraded chairs that recline and are more comfortable. They do still offer the reserve seating which is great. Beautiful bar as well.

I’m happy with all the changes that Harkin’s has made over the past couple of years like the assigned seats and the bar. I ordered my tickets online and I felt it was pretty easy to navigate. I love the rewards as we also used our free popcorn perk. Friendly staff, also!

They have very nice staff with a decent little bar. The drinks are pricey but they absolutely refuse to accept tips. The seats could be more comfortable but it is a clean establishment and we enjoyed the movie!!

I have been to this cinema since it has opened. I've seen everything from The Avengers to Guardian of the Galaxy 2 here, and I have never had a poor experience. Speaking of which, for those individuals complaining about the cost of concessions, there are loyalty options that slice the cost of refreshments significantly. If you go to the cinema more than twice in a year I'd highly recommend investing in a drink cup and popcorn shirt. (PS: AMC doesn't do that)

My husband and I took our children to watch The Grinch where we were approached by John (a manager) who said my 3 year old was so loud he could hear him out in the auditorium. This was not true. My son was excited and reacting to the movie as all 3 year old kids do. I have never been so disrespected in my life and will never go back to this theater. I'm still in shock with Johns poor management skills. This is a place for families and kids movie WILL HAVE KIDS HAPPY AND REACTING TO THEM! Alamo restricts children after a certain time for the adults who want to watch kids movies, If Harkins wants kids to be quite in a movie made for children then they should do the same... Johns actions are disgusting and full of discrimination!

If you’re going to charge for 3 year olds make sure they can fit in a seat with out it folding up on them even with a booster my 3 year old didn’t even weigh enough had to put a purse and a sweater in the seat with the booster to prevent the chair from folding up!!!!

Everything was slow slow slow. From buying our tickets to purchasing our refreshments. Doesn't seen to be any sense of urgency. And then popcorn, which is usually very good, was almost too salty to eat. Not what we have come to expect from Harkins.

Excellent video fidelity, and the theater has an even better sound system then the nearby sister theaters like Harkins Queen Creek. The food and snack selection is also superior to many of the other theaters will full meal service. It is definitely a cut above the other theaters in its area for Gilbert and Queen Creek..

Harkins is clean and stadium seating. If you drop popcorn they sweep it up right after you. Plus if you buy a Harkins popcorn shirt and loyalty cup the concessions are cheap for the whole year. The summer movies for kids are great too.

Well ... it took like forever for Harkins to come into the 21st century with seats you can reserve, but kudos to them for finally doing so. I finally do not dread going there any more ... which is a big plus. I've been going to Regal (in Gilbert) for several ... primarily because they provided reserved seating ... and we didn't have to go into combat to find and retain seating for ourselves and family members. I still like Regal more (perhaps because they treated me better during those times). However, I have to give props to Harkins for finally making this major improvement.

The incredibles 2 was the last movie I saw in the theater. The prices were outrageous for snacks but they all are. The seats is where I had the biggest problem, it is so cramped and feels so awful. I dont know if they have cinema seating now but they didnt when I was there. This is why I choose amc, they have a better selection of soda, food and candy.

This is my favorite Harkin's Theatre in the Southeast Valley! It never feels over crowded or dirty! Early morning showings are the best because there never seems to be an issue finding our favorite seats at that time. Minus one star for not having the reclining seats like AMC has. But other than that, it's a great theater

Facilities are nice but the workers at the concession stand are slow as a seven years itch and six years behind in scratching. There was no sense of urgency and gratitude by the food servers.

Prices are high but the staff here is friendly and the theaters/walking areas/concession stands are kept very clean. The popcorn is what you expect from a movie theater, nice and buttery and they have plenty of snack and drink options. There's also a bar in the main lobby! Solid movie theater, would definitely go back.

Watched the "Joker" tonight and was the Best Movie Ive seen in awhile. People kept saying !ncel in the Theatre though. Im on the train of -"there are somethings bigger than money, $ex and legacy... Things that will define this and the next generations by what we do today" I think the Joker portrayed that very magnificently as well az subtly :) =^-^= Art, people's thoughts and comedy are subjective anyway ;)

Hey bar in the lobby and fast service was a plus. I enjoy the Harkins Theater and do hope that they catch on and stall reclining seats to keep up with the competition. Harkins is our go-to when my older Sons and I go see the latest sci-fi Blockbuster. The theater is very comfortable and the candy fresh and sweet. Does anybody really read these reviews? Or has Maps become so gamified that I just keep writing for ghosts
