My favorite little spot.. it's low-key .. if you have to drive here park in the structure behind it and make sure to get your parking ticket punched on your way out (4 hrs free :)) anyways RECLINING SEATS!! Also if you end up upstairs there's a bar and a drink refill station for ya.

Love this theater you can refill your drink so each floor so you don’t have to go all the way back downstairs it was clean recliners were awesome and roomy it wasn’t packed but we did go Middle of the day I have the tickets on my phone it was literally a scan and go friendly staff ready to help bathroom with clean also great changing station for babies.

Discounted ticket prices!! Yes please!!! But 17$ for a popcorn and a large drink a bit excessive. It has nice motorized recliner seats and their disabled seats are spacious and convenient.

Me and a friend come here all the time! I love the seating (recliners, with lots of leg room) and the screen size is great, (some theatres have smaller depending where you go). you can get a great view no matter where you sit!

If it were possible I'd give negative stars due to the lack of tact with which my situation was handled. April 5 2019 my wife and I were in attendance for the 8:45 showing of Pet Semetary, due to my disability I purchased handicapped seating. Three minutes to Show time we were approached by an usher because somebody wanted our seats. Mind you they were plenty of open seats and others being occupied by non disabled person but she wanted ours. Not only did I have to give up my seat for a woman who was not disabled but I was asked to leave the theater without seeing our movie. When I asked for her name she refused, when I asked for the manager he wasn't in. Although I called when I got home and spoke with him. AMC I will never again be a patron in any of your theatres and I encourage you all not to either.

It's a good theater... seats are comfortable and staff are friendly-ish. Always annoys me when kids and adults can't keep their mouths shut during a movie and unfortunately, Centerpoint is becoming one of those places during the day. Good overall though, especially for the price

Loved it. we went to go see Annabelle Comes Home and it was AWESOME. the sound makes the jumpscares even MORE SCARY. we got the whole theater to ourselves, me, my mom, and dad. the food was GREAT! I really reccomend it.

The theatre is really nice and it is also at the prime location in Tempe. The seats are adjustable and comfortable. Visual effects are remarkable. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the sound is of good quality but it's very low. Recently saw The Endgame there and experienced the same. I could not hear some of the dialogues in previously watched movies too.

They have done some remodeling but awhile ago. You can select your seats but some of them are getting broken. Concession stand is small but works for the theater's size unless they are making a huge parties popcorn. Then the line takes long. They do have a bar but I'm not sure of its hours. The clean bathrooms are always appreciated!

Most experiences with AMC have been good, but this location seemed understaffed this morning. Also, it would appear that the closers didn't stock/prep for the morning shift, so we ended up missing 3/4 of the previews. Over all, the theater, and lobby was clean, but it does seem a bit tired, and worn. Staff was pleasant enough though. Might come back, or just go to another AMC, or other theater in general. Haven't decided yet.

Great movie theater. Very comfortable chairs, clean theaters all the time. Despite it's proximity to campus it never gets very crazy here. The newly opened bar upstairs servers some great drinks and of course they have the freestyle machines for soda! Win win...park in the Chase parking garage and bring your ticket and they will validate at the door for 4 hours.

Great place to watch a movie or few. On Tuesdays they have $5 special for AMC Stub members. You can even get a discount on candies. Plus I love the advance screenings offered here every once in a while. Plus the have 3 D movie theaters. Check it out if you are in Downtown Tempe, Arizona near Mill Ave. If you see the Chase building you are close.

Understaffed resulting in cleaning the theater 10 minutes prior to the start time of your movie and a long wait to retrieve popcorn candy etc. On top of being understaffed they also have a strange environment going on outside the auditoriums due to the eccentric types of people they allow in their theater who simply sit outside the auditorium and never go in. Great theater but parking an issue. Theater had the nice big comfy retractable chairs. The staff was very friendly. We even got the great $5 matinee pricing! BUT the parking! $12 and the directions from the parking lot were poor. You would think for $12 they would at least have decent signage.

This is by far the best movie theatre in the area beyond smaller art theatres. Great seating and awesome layout to the space. They validate parking in the Chase Center Structure which truly saves the experience. That being said, I tried getting drinks here for the first time tonight and while generally the staff is great, the bartender was a little abrasive in his demeanor. The drinks weren't cheap because nothing at the movies are but the service was less than stellar. Still this is my favorite place to see a movie.

Comfortable seating and cleam bathrooms. The concession area is a little tight, and there is no shade above the outside ticket machines. There is a second floor of theaters, accessible via stairs and escalators.

Worst place ever don't go there my husband and I bought tickets that allowed him to have easy access the front because he is disabled and the seats where for people with disabled we were sitting down and a lady came to us and told where in the wrong seats Even I paid for my seats ... and we were force to moved for some people who celar did not have a disability just because they supposed bought those seats tickets that those are reserved for disabled be people not peargent women who are fine and can sit in others seats next to us . they did not do anything to help us even my husband is disabled and need those seats because he broken his leg in 3 different places and was waking with his cane they did not care no one even apologize to my husband he was humanlaity in front on everyone all the lady said on you get your refund in 3 days and I ask for names too she not help anyway... they also did not ask some kids that where sitting in seats that where resverd for disabled to move only us worst place ever will never go back now I have comfortable my husband who feels a shame because he has a disability thanks A lot AMC

Love the power recliners. I neither confirm nor deny having fallen asleep, because they are so comfortable. Online reserved seating. Highly recommend matinee times if you prefer smaller crowds. For those that don't have a preference, they are still quick anytime. The reserved online seating makes opening nights not an issue. Good concessions. Clean all around. Staff has always been great there.

Very small theater, but I found it better than the massive auditoriums I've been in before. The seats were all recliners and were very comfortable and were in really good shape. Pretty clean, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The parking situation is really weird... I went on a holiday (New Year's Day), so the parking lot was open and free. Normally, there is VERY limited metered street parking, or $2 for every 30 minutes (up to $12) in the garage behind the theater... I don't know if there is validation, but certainly something to keep in mind. It's in the midst of the ASU entertainment area, so there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the theater. Just be careful while driving because the roads are very narrow, one lane, and have lots of people milling about.

This has been my third time coming here this month and it’s the nicest movie theater I’ve seen around Phoenix. The employees are always helpful with whatever it is our looking for and it’s very clean here. Not sure what the other review was meaning by this theater being “ filthy “, I haven’t come across anything to fit that description here.

I typically will attend a matinee or a late night viewing and every time the lines are short and the theater is relatively empty. It's typically a great experience and the staff are always so kind. There is a bar on the second floor, if you need a little drink with your movie. And they have fully retractable chairs!

I used to be a fan of this theater but after my experience last night it will no longer be my first choice. No one was available to check our tickets (which we had purchased online since we knew we would be arriving close to the movie showtime). Waited several minutes to be helped, before my fiance and I just gave up and walked in. We got in line at concessions with one person ahead of us who was currently ordering. I don't know what the situation was but the cashier and concession staff took forever to process the order. (Even though I observed staff just standing behind the counter, no one offered to help us). We gave up and headed inside the theater to get our seats. I realized the previews were still going on so after sitting for a few minutes I headed back downstairs to try ordering popcorn. YET AGAIN, there was only one person ahead of me but the whole ordering process took forever that I was finally just returned back to my seat without being helped. The movie was fine and the seats were comfortable... just disappointed in the staff and service.

So 1st time at this location, and man oh man disgusting!! The theater itself was hug nice chairs small screen. The bottom level where u walk in it's so dinghy looking so dirty and unorganized. There was absolutely ZERO toliet paper in the women's restroom upstairs!! It was trashed like no one cleans or checks it. I like that the bar is upstairs away from the crowd getting snacks. I personal would not go back here for anything. Really disappointed with AMC I've never been in any of their establishments where I felt so dirty. Maybe it's because they are geared to the college kids or the employees just don't do their jobs, whatever the case it looks nicer from the outside.

This isn't our closest theater, but definitely our favorite. The seats are comfortable, you can book online, and the tickets are cheaper than other AMC theaters. Normal prices are about $7-$8 and only $5 if you go before 4pm. We also noticed the front rows are a little farther from the screen than normal, so if you get stuck in the front rows, it's not bad. The theater validates parking if you park in the garage immediately behind the theater.

I bought the extra large popcorn the one that is supposed to come with the refill, By the end of the night when I went there to get my refill, there was no staff left everything was closed, so I kept the bucket with me, That when I come next time I will ask them to refill it then, and so I came back to watch a movie over there and I brought the bucket with me and they refused to refill it they said it is supposed to be on the same day, how does that work if I am supposed to have a refill on the same day and their food café is already closed, the guy was selling it to me that told me that there’s a refill he never mentioned that by the time my movie gets done that they will be closed, that’s not my problem, what I know is that he charge me extra In order to sell the large one, claiming that I could get a refill, and I was not provided that we feel, I’m really disappointed, I should get a refund, Or I do want a free popcorn from there in the same size, I hope the admin is reading this, because I’m going to have the rest of the eight family members write a bad review, if I don’t hear back from you.

Cozy theater. Not sure if all the theater rooms in the building are like the one I went to, but there was only about 40 seats, with enough room to recline and not worry about the person next to taking your arm rest. Theres a bar upstairs and downstairs, the restrooms were clean, and it wasn't crowded at all.

We had to laugh at how bad this place was. We had old food on both of our seats. The upstairs bar area doesn’t have cups to sell for the self service soda machines that are literally right next to it. And they don’t give out water cups, they sell you a water bottle that is more expensive than they sell downstairs. You know it’s going to be a great movie experience when the previews tell you to “watch your belongings and mind your surroundings for suspicious activity”. Walls are so thin you hear the other movies that are around you too! Is that super surround sound? Neato! For the same price, if not cheaper, find another theater.

It's a very nice theater that I visited about 3 years ago. If I recall correctly, this location has reclining chairs so you got the comfort factor in too as a plus. Once you arrive, you can simply get your tickets at the self-serve kiosk up front and then you can take a nice snazzy escalator to find your movie show room. Great place. Only issue is downtown parking. Be prepared to shell out extra money for a parking garage or metered street parking.

Have to park and walk around the block. Remember to bring your parking ticket to get it validated or you will pay an additional $10 for parking long enough for a movie. Parking meters won't read cards properly (tried 3 different ones) and you'll have to drive around to find the attendant. Won't visit this theater again. Even though it's the closest to me, it isn't worth the trouble.

This is a great theater. It's not too big or over done like a lot of the other AMCs. By this I mean, they don't do the full menu and service. It still has that nestalgic movie experience. Except now you can get tickets online, site in a big comfy chair and get alcoholic drinks. I love this theater.

This theater has a convenient location although there's a bit of a walk from the parking structure. I usually have a problem using my app here and was once told my account had been cancelled when it wasn't, most likely due to WiFi issues that day, so if you are collecting rewards via app, another location might be a better choice. Otherwise the theater is clean, the service is friendly and movies are clear and focused.

Usually I'm a big fan of this theater. However, the last two visits I made there were issues with the projector. One time something broke 15 minutes before end of movie. Huge bummer. And most recently movie started 45 minutes late!

I have to say that I love AMC Theatres and am an A-List member. Pros: the location is central to lots of restaurants and the ASU campus, the price is lower for midday and evening movies than other AMC locations, they validate parking, the self-serve drink machines are on both levels, the times movies are offered are great (variety) Cons: the concession area is dirty and one out of two drink stations on the main floor is out of order, the service at the concession stand is SLOW and aren’t staffed well for evening shows, without fail someone is always in my seats and I have to ask them to move (these are reserved numbered seats and purchased days in advance), the sound is awful and echos in theatre 1, bathroom toiletries aren’t stocked and a game of toilet paper, soap, or towel roulette is the name of the game.

Theater is absolutely awesome. Comfortable seating, great concession set-up (upstairs and downstairs). Parking can be tough on mill but if you park in the Chase parking structure you can validate your ticket so you don't have to pay the extra. Its super easy they have a machine set up or you take it to guest services. The location is super clean and I have always had a great experience here. Highly recommend.

Like every movie #theater, the #popcorn, drinks, and snacks are high priced but I enjoyed the cushioned #reclining seats and the experience. They also have the Coke Freestyle fountain with different flavors and combos.

Service was great reclining seats movie was awesome. But the prices are outrageous a soda and popcorn both large was almost 17 bucks that's ridiculous they have to fix that.

Aside from the high prices for tickets and snacks, this is one of the better AMC theaters I have been to. The food tastes pretty good, it’s cleaner than a lot of other reviewers have said (including the bathrooms) and the seating is very relaxing. Great choice for families and students.

We saw a movie late night, and paid extra to get a refill, thats what the employee mentioned and up-selling the large popcorn, when we came out of the movie, the cafe was closed, so we couldn’t get our refill, in s few days we came back with the bucket to get our refill when we came to watch another movie there, the employee refused to refill, he said that its a sane day policy etc, I am very disapupointed and i would like to get my refill and or return my money, its not fair, i would like the admin or corporate office to take notice of this.

Recliners and Mill Avenue vibes. The best part is the bar. This AMC has a very nice vibe to it as it is on Mill Avenue. After the movies you can go and enjoy in the clubs around.

Well let's see. I've been to movies here several times. The cons are that their snack bar is EXTREMELY high priced even more than other theatre's. I guess it's to pay for the pros which are the wonderfully comfortable reclining seats.
