Went here for an 8pm showing of the Lion King in theater 21. Upper right speaker was buzzing the entire movie and children were running up and down the stairs, crying, and screaming the entire time. The seats were very upright and had old cloth upholstery with minimal cushion. Floors were covered in dried soda syrup and AC was set to about 78. The attached parking garage was still 2 blocks away from the entrance and costs $4/hour although they do validate. Overall worst movie theater experience either of us have had.

Only thing I dont like u gotta pick where u sit. And the got nobody working ticket box. If u dont have a credit card cant get ticket. Card only. I really hate that that place. No good. I rather go to Harkin more. Professional there

This is a cool place to watch a movie & its down town in the middle of the arts district where First Friday is so you could park in the garage go to first friday then watch a movie & have your parking ticket validated.

Love having a movie theater downtown in Phoenix. The AMC decor, is very colorful and inviting. The consessions area, now has the Soda Machines out where you can self serve. The theaters I visited, had great audio and visual quality. The only negative with this location, is how badly the Men's Restrooms need upgrading. Beyond that and the deals you get with a Stubbs Membership, I highly recommend this AMC to All.

The staff is friendly but the place is kind of run down. During my visit, the toilets did not flush and the water fountains didn't work. The screens are also kind of small which is disappointing. This place is also way too big for the type of business it gets. The halls are empty and eerie. They have an empty extra concession stand which is now used for storage. I went on a weekend and there was still nobody there. This might be a positive thing if you want to avoid a crowd. Over my experience was good and I would return.

Great theater. A bit dated but still an excellent experience. Less expensive than expected as it's downtown; probably due to it not being renovated like other AMC theaters.

Waited in a line at 12PM for ONE PERSON selling tickets and refreshments. Outside ticket kiosk wasn't working. 15 minutes later, it is my turn to purchase a ticket when in walks someone with VIP status, and he gets to go first. I turned around and walked out. This set up is MESSED UP! Also, there is no clear signage as to where the entrance of the theater is, so you have to do a bit of wandering if you aren't familiar with the area. I'm glad my city has REGAL!

On a weekend you usually have to wait for too long in line because there's only one or two staff members working the register. bathrooms were pretty gross. Popcorn everywhere. I don't blame the workers at all. I blame AMC for not renovating this place and hiring more staff to help keep up.

Loved it, went for the first time with my daughter. They have restaurant close to get a bit to eat. Very convenient! Nice place to go with friends and family. The only thing I didn't like was the entrance very tricky if it's the first time going. Love the fact amc validates the parking ticket, that's a plus. Will be coming back. Wish they had more games for young ones to play.

Dirty and old. I kept feeling like something was biting me but I assumed I was being dramatic. Got home and showered and felt two bug bites on my shoulder.

Place is a complete dump. Employees are unequipped and untrained. Soda machines broken, popcorn is cold, bathrooms are atrocious and left me more traumatized than the horror film I saw in their theater. I am at a total loss as to how a large theater company like AMC can continue to operate at this extremely low level. Manager was nowhere to be found. None of the employees wear name-tags. The lobby area near the concessions was completely ransacked and littered with trash, cups, popcorn and spilled liquids. I called AMC corporate and they claimed to have forwarded my comments to the theater manager. I received a call back from said manager several days later and she thanked me for my comments and offered me some re-entry passes. I thanked her for the gesture and accepted but also assured her I would never visit that theater again. She snickered and said “I can’t blame you!”

SHUT THE WHOLE PLACE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This AMC l, was DISGUSTING & DISAPPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST. . I came here for an 9 Pm showing of Annabelle. There was popcorn EVERYWHERE, the bathrooms were filthy and clearly NOT CHECKED HOURLY and the theaters themselves were clearly not even swept between movie showings. My feet were literally sticking to the floor.The customer service was terrible. It was disorganized and the employees all had a very poor attitude towards the patrons. The consession candy racks were empty, popcorn buckets were premade and sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long, and Icee dispensers were out of several flavors. The ticket taker didn't say a single word us; just took our tickets, tore them, then sent us on our way. By far this was the most disappointing movie experience I have experienced. I will never go to this particular AMC AGAIN!.

This place looks like it needs some remodeling! The outside looks dirty you hardly see any staff even at the window all you see its homeless people as you exit the theater! The only good thing is the ticket prices!

I will never go here again. There's no free parking. We went and saw Spider-Man, came back out and our parking cost $20. Their drink machines didn't dispense cold drinks or ice, they put ice in my cup and it just got watered down after 5 minutes by the warm drink.

Love the movies and the location and the free garage access and the movies are a bit cheaper than other locations. Did not love the concession stand prices. Too high. They used to have a personal pizza for $3 and replaced it with a $15 pizza. Also it is had to navigate the garage entrance and exit and to know how to validate your garage ticket. I would suggest putting more effort on the last two items I mentioned to earn another star from me. Let me know when you do. Love you all!

This is my neighborhood theatre and my go to for a movie. Staff is polite, theatre is clean, and the food is ok...overall a good time.

I would give this a zero star if I could!!! Well my husband and I, some family members and a couple of their friends went to watch the movie Lion King and let me tell you this place is a freaking joke. First we couldn't find any FREE parking another inconvenience, for people that can't walk far and have to park a couple of blocks away from the place very inconvenient for those who don't know the area. Your parking lot and main entrance needs to be easy to find. Then when we finally got to the main building we couldn't find our way in to the theater and we where not the only ones, piss poor design of this whole complex. We finally find the main entrance and walk in and what do we see through out the place it was trashed filthy dirty floors and fountain drink, popcorn topping areas, along with the bathrooms. Their soda machines where out of more than half the drinks. My sister put in a complaint at their so called Quest service desk about how she had to go to 4 different bathroom stalls to get toilet paper that is bs. For the prices you guys charge that place should be spit shinning and the second concession stand in the back should be open and running for those who watch movies in the back. It is such an inconvenience to walk all the way to the front just to get an outrageously priced drinks. I mean come on $7.05 including tax for a large soda is stupid ridiculous, $15 for a large soda and nachos. Get real those prices are stupid greedy this is why we never go to the movies because they have gotten so stupid greedy with their prices it's cheaper, cleaner to stay home and watch movies. We will never go here again and will not recommend it to anyone!! For the location it is at you would think that the owner of this movie theater would give a hoot that his place is not being kept cleaned. The theater that was showing our movie was very dirty, I had to sweep off my seat before I could sit down as did my husband. I saw 3 young people carrying dust pans and brooms but I never saw them use them they just walked around talking to each other. We even had to help a group of people that couldn't find the main entrance to the theater. The owner needs to fix this problem and put signs out so customers can find it a lot easier instead of wasting their time walking around the stupid complex of miss placed businesses just to get the movie theater. Whoever designed this place was not thinking of their customers the people that are the reason they get a pay check!!!

We had to walk pass several doors just to get to the entrance after parking in the garage they validated parking thats a plus! Inside the theater was still a nasty mess! The teenage workers didnt clean much. The seats were comfortable and reclined a little.

Tickets for adults are 7$ each. I got 2 of them and somehow I was charged 20$, i asked why and they said for “convenience fee”. What?????? Ripped me off of 6$ nearly a whole other ticket! How is it convenient for me to wait in line for 15 minutes to buy a ticket only to get charged more because they somehow made it “easy” for me

If you like walking this is your to go to place it has a LOT of people, but it was a very good experience, also you have to pay for parking and it costed me an extra 13 dollars, kind of went over budget but I guess it is fine.

Has a nice ambience. We watched Zero and The favorite so far. It is close to our work so the trip is easy. It is nearby to light rail. Parking is a bit pricey in the area. We parked a few streets away.

My boyfriend and I bought tickets at the machines cause there was no one out front. The machines told us that it couldn’t print it so we had to go up to the food counter. There were a couple of families ahead of us ordering food so I asked one of the employees checking tickets if there was any other way we can get the tickets we paid for-other than stand in line and wait for people who are ordering food(we all know movie food takes a while). I was told no. So respectfully my boyfriend and I stood while a couple of large families made their order and the person behind the counter scrambled to get their items. After what feels like 20 minutes, it’s out turn so as I am walking to the food counter the cashier stops me and tells me she’s actually going to take the person waiting in the “rewards line” - who LITERALLY just got there. I was livid but I went back to the line and waited. When it was our turn another employee took us and we told him we just wanted to get our tickets printed- and when he tried to print them, his screen froze!! I felt bad for him because he was so kind and didn’t know what to do. His supervisor told him to print it on the other screen(the girl who first kicked us back to the line) and she gave him attitude for it! This was so ridiculous. We literally just needed someone to print tickets that we ALREADY purchased. I am baffled by how differently this whole situation could have been handled and greatly disappointed in the quality of service at this location. This location is also always dirty and hardly staffed.

I have been coming to this location since I was a teen and honestly always received excellent service! I even got my tickets for a movie I missed and I had ordered them online! thank you so much!! One thing the bathroom's are super gross some toilets don't flush.

If there is any AMC in the City, county, or even the state that needs an update it's this one. It might be a critical thought but it's an honest one. For the flasgship AMC downtown to be this rundown and decrepit it's embarrassing. Nonetheless I blame the account manager and the AMC.

Nice theaters, and friendly staff. I may sound cheap, but movies are really expensive for a family of 6 - so visiting locations/theatres like this (for our family) is a rare treat. However, very enjoyable!

Great place to take a date. There is a lot to see outside this area and the whole place is also updated and looks real nice especially at night time. There is a nice park you can hold hands through and benches to sit on. You can eat at Mis Amigos bar and grill, they have decent Mexican food. 1130 is a nice place to dine for Italian food and have a date. Although it is not the best Italian restaurant, it is OK at best, but the place is very nice for a quick bite before a movie. Or after. Then you have an ice cream shop too. Along with a Starbucks around the corner. So this is a great place to take your date to a movie and a romantic night.

Service was good but they need more people to stay on top of the cleaning. The beverage stations were messy and the floors were sticky. When filling my cup as the drink got close to the top I released the button for the dispenser to stop but the liquid kept going and overflowed. Thankfully the catch container caught most of it but some of it still spilled on the floor. The place was not busy but the workers there did look a bit overwhelmed. Do plan to go there again maybe they were just not having a good night.

This place is terrible. 10 minutes in line to buy a cup so I can make my own drink. Yet there are 8 people working behind the counter joking around. I can not believe how bad this place is ran. This has to be the worst AMC theater in Phoenix. The management of this place needs to go back to basic training, if not fired. We came to watch Endgame. We bought our tickets online and reserved our seats. Every single showing was close to sold out and they had one playing every 30 minutes. Just by looking at this you would be able to see that it was going to be very busy at the theater. Not surprising to be that busy, it was a highly anticipated movie and it was opening weekend. We show up and the line to get in is wrapped around the building. Again not surprising, big movie weekend. This line moved pretty fast, but there was only one person taking tickets. The process could have been sped up if they would have had another ticket person. Next came the line for concessions. It went all the way to the end of the theater, next to the completely empty and unused concession stand. They only had 3 cashiers working for this super long line. There were only 5 or 6 people working behind the counter. It was crazy to see that many people in line with so little staff working. It took an hour to get our drinks. Some guy in front of us tried to order a pizza. He asked how long would it take to make a pizza and the cashier told him 4 hours. He told her but movies are only 2 hours and she told him that everyone else got here early so they could wait for their pizza. The soda stands were all broken except for one, and it only had coke and diet coke. Everything else was out. The mess was awful. The bathrooms were soooooo bad. My feet were sticking to the ground as I made my way through the bathroom. Each toilet was clogged and a nightmare. There was no soap and no towels. I have never seen a theater so destroyed. Garbage everywhere. Popcorn all over the floor. And everything was just sticky. I felt really bad for the staff. They were doing their best to take care of everyone, but there were just too many people. What kind of manager and general manager thinks its a good idea to have such a small staff working on such a busy weekend? It wasn't a surprise. Most of these tickets were bought in advance. I thought this was just poor planning on the managers part, but after reading other reviews, this seems to be a common occurrence at this location. It is time for new management.

Absolutely horrible and irritating. The reserved seating online doesn't match to the actual theater's seats. We did not get the seats that we actually paid for online. The seats were absolutely disgusting, the theater itself was dirty. Premiere night with no security in the front entrance nor any security theater checks during the movie. Never coming back again.

Came here at 10pm to see Aladdin in 3d, the film was delightful, the theater was clean and there w ere only a total of 4 people viewing the film. However, I did wish the ticket kiosk would work better. When selecting my seats it was hard to select unless you were zoomed in all the way. Should modify it so you can just type in the seat numbers you'd like instead, would be faster.

AMC's are the staple theaters. It's nice you can pick your own seat and concessions are readily available. Clean theater, no odiferous odors. Bathroom very clean and stocked, theater floors clean and not sticky. I wish they would eliminate 20 minutes of advertisements before the movie that is getting a little ridiculous. I have nothing bad to say about this place, parking was fine the whole experience was fine. Get on you! Thank you and will see you again

I was wondering how this theatre has a higher average star review. I went in slightly before the start time of a film. I noticed the sticky floors, and the broken arm rest first. I then took out my phone and looked at the seat and this is what I saw Horribly dirty seats (pictures inclided). There was no way I would be comfortable sitting in that seat or any of these. I then proceeded to getting a refund. I won't be returning to that location in its current state.

I don’t have any major complaints about this theater except that it is in need of some major upgrades. The sound quality is general subpar and the screens are not as high quality as other AMC theaters. The theater itself does its job but it needs a renovation to reflect the upgrades done to the Arizona Center and the surrounding area. Otherwise, I have had great service and it’s in an excellent location downtown.

Good screen. They had the soda machines where you can fill your own drink which I really enjoyed. They also had long lines with low staff, so it took longer than it should to get tickets and concessions. The seats were pretty small as well. Not a bad experience but not great either.

Went to the movies yesterday with my parents and it was really uncomfortable because not al the lights were off. I could see everyone in there pretty clear. I asked a staff memeber to dim the lights and said she would have to ask her manager to do it. I went back to see the movie and the lights were never dimmed. I know that they do this at times for people with autism which of course I understand. But I called ahead of time to verify if it was a regular showing. The lady on the phone said yes. If I knew this was the case I would have gone to a different showing. My parents were also upset leaving the theatre. Also only one of their machines had ice and only one had regular Coca Cola. The machines were dirty and not well maintained. While I was looking for the one machine with Coca Cola most of them said they were doing maintenance/updating idk something like that. I’ve beeb here many times mostly because it’s the closest to me I have never seen it so bad these last 2 times I’ve been here. Please make an effort AMC

Really disappointed with the overall experience on 7/29/19, specifically the cleanliness of the theater. The lines were incredibly slow for tickets and concessions. The men’s restroom had 5, yes 5, clogged toilets and a hole in the wall. The assigned seating was also a joke. Nobody could see the row letters which caused confusion for everybody trying to find the right seat. The parking validation is very hard to find as well. As I left the theater, a healthy sewer roach was on standby, waiting to bid me adieu. This theater is in such a prime location, it’s hard to believe you’re understaffing it so badly that it feels like a total dump...typical big corporation cutting corners and costs while charging $16 for popcorn and soda? Anyway, I’ll find a nicer theater next time. Harkins runs a much smoother operation.

First time at this theater. Theater is a little dated. It's been awhile if ever that I had to pay for parking and not receive some kind of discount. The parking was more than the cost of the movie. I was only in the movies two hours. There was only one ticket seller on a Friday evening, and the line was long and moving slow. Extremely Understaffed. The theater is so understaffed you still have to get there 40 minutes early if you want concessions even with reserved seating. This also trickles down to cleanliness as well unfortunately. I hadn't been to this theater in years and my experience this weekend reaffirmed why I should never go back.

The movie was good but the cleanliness of these theaters are disgusting. The seat my fiancee sat in once the lights came on was absolutely disgusting. I wish I took a picture of it. Anyways, if management is reading this the whole theater needs to be cleansed, seats to be steam cleaned, bathrooms to be sanitized. One sink look like it was clogged for weeks if not at least over a month. I'm disappointed in theaters cleaning habits. I'm just itching thinking about the seats.

First validating park. $16 dollars you have to pay for parking. Come early to do it. I left mine in the car, my fault. Had to pay for mine. Used to buying a ticket and they give a parking pass. This isn't one of them. Just got there in time to see the movie. Also you can't fix it after 10, they close the validating part. So your out of luck! On top of $15 bucks for a soda and popcorn. That the popcorn was old and hard. Mellow Yellow tasted a little diet in and wasn't. Kids yelling, acting up, baby crying. Only good thing was the movie! Wishing I went to another theater. Seriously! Also, I looked through other reviews on here, not one ever got back from management in response. Sad!

Place needs a "through" revamp and "deep cleaning" !!! Our seats were covered in past food and drink spills, probably from months ago. Bathrooms are disgusting as well !! Not sure who is the owner is, but they should definitely stop by and take a "look see" of how poorly managed and maintained their property has become. So sad, it could be a "jewel" if someone cared !!

Great place to take a date. There is a lot to see outside this area and the whole place is also updated and looks real nice especially at night time. There is a nice park you can hold hands through and benches to sit on. You can eat at Mis Amigos bar and grill, they have decent Mexican food. 1130 is a nice place to dine for Italian food and have a date. Although it is not the best Italian restaurant, it is OK at best, but the place is very nice for a quick bite before a movie. Or after. Then you have an ice cream shop too. Along with a Starbucks around the corner. So this is a great place to take your date to a movie and a romantic night.

Service was good but they need more people to stay on top of the cleaning. The beverage stations were messy and the floors were sticky. When filling my cup as the drink got close to the top I released the button for the dispenser to stop but the liquid kept going and overflowed. Thankfully the catch container caught most of it but some of it still spilled on the floor. The place was not busy but the workers there did look a bit overwhelmed. Do plan to go there again maybe they were just not having a good night.

SUPER DIRTY AND DATED! Under staffed and untrained staff (grabbing cups with fingers on inside kinda gross) Pre-made bags of popcorn sitting out, faucets in bathrooms not working, hot as hell, terrible sound quality..... This is the absolute worst theatre I’ve ever been to. First of all it smelt like a port-a-potty when I walked in. Then, J.T. the ticket guy, wouldn’t let 7 college students into an R rated movie. Like we aren’t 12 years old buddy. Not only that, he was extremely rude to us. I would only go to this theatre again if I actually wanted to get screwed over. Is it possible to give -1 stars because I would.

We tried to buy our tickets at the ticket machine and it took our payment but the tickets couldn't print out so it says to go the counter which they don't really have. Ended up having to stand back in the ticket line which took forever since they had only two workers. Finally got in and we decided to get food and one of the items was pretzel bites which they said take a few minutes. Instead of calling out order #'s the lady was just calling out the item which was confusing people and my order was given to other people twice. I had to complain to finally get my order. Lastly, during the movie one of the speakers was making a funny sound. Just overall not a good experience and probably will not return to this AMC.

Worst expierence at a movie theater!! Friday night , trying to watch Endgame. Its busy as ever and only 1 person in the box selling tickets. Payed $15 for parking so we're not gonna leave now... 35 minutes later we finally get our tickets. Understaffed and rude. Overall ruined my movie expierence.

We were in Phoenix for the weekend and decided to go for a movie. This theater was the closest to our hotel and while we have been to other amc venues, none of them were this bad. The minute we sat down in the seats our bodies started itching, the speaker which was right above us made a buzzing sound the entire duration of the movie louder than the movie dialogue at times. Tried to look for a rep to talk to after but no one was around. Granted it was a cheaper priced ticket but still not worth it.

This AMC needs a renovation real bad. You would think with the real estate boom downtown, and the droves of people living there now, someone would think to update the only movie theater over there. All the other AMC's have recliners and/or dine in capability. This one is stuck in 1985.

It's a cool place. ASU campus right there, Cold Stone and other eats nearby. Movie quality wise though... is for why I give 3 stars. Theater itself is outdated as are the movie screens and seating, this one on par with most Harkins. I am an AMC Theater preference movie watcher and I've seen a lot better quality of movies in some of their newer theaters. Blacks weren't black enough and the overall image just seemed blurry and hard to make out overall.

Overall a convenient place to catch summer blockbusters, in the heart of downtown Phoenix and plenty of surrounding shops & restaurants but bring plenty of$ for proper movie snacks and they do validate parking (4 hours).

Always dirty and slow service. Soda machine is always out of ice soda is flat and warm. Floors sticky. If you use the light to see your seat they are grotesque. We use to come years ago and stopped came back and was quickly reminded why we don't come. Centrepoint on Mill is same price and by far 100X cleaner better and worth the drive

The reason why i gave it 1 star is because the entrance was difficult to find, little overpriced for a regular soda, the seats are not that comfy they should be remodeled, and i was suprised at how small the screen was given how big the theater is. I doubt i will be going back to this place again. And the bathroom garbages where overflowing, thats not a good look.

I use to come to this movie theater often years back and loved it. Well today 7/21/2019 I took my daughter to watch The Lion King and boy we should have gone to a different theater to watch it. First the area of the food court was a BIG mess, jalapenos thrown all over the counter where you pick up your food. By the soda machines there was popcorn crushed all over the floor (friendly staff though). The actual theater was so nasty. Who knows what was on the floor, it was so gross. It was sticky, I couldnt even bop my leg to the music without me feeling disgusted of what I was stepping in. The stairs had popcorn all over the place. I mean this place was a disaster. Oh and the room we were In which was 21, one of the speakers was broken i guess because i could hear nothing but staticky noise coming from it. Disappointed, since this was a movie I really was excited to see and ended up worring more about what I was stepping in. I know it will never be perfectly clean but at least have more staff cleaning. I dont know if I will be back again to this location.

No theater checks? Hard to enjoy a movie when theater hoppers and the homeless are hanging out having a good time. Worth mentioning the whole lot is an architectural disaster. Parking is awful. The entrance is hard to find. I won't be coming back and you shouldn't either.

I hadn't been to this location in about a year but you drop from 5 stars down to 1. Having to buy your tickets at the concession stand I had 5 people in front of me and I had to wait over 45 minutes. Only one register was consistently open that time. Then when we went to get our icees the machines were broken down so we got some soda in our icee cups And I'm pretty certain the black goo that was floating in my ginger ale drink was mold... I poured it out and got a new drink ... if we weren't going to miss the start of the movie I would have addressed the matter further with management. There bathrooms also were atrocious, with tons of unflushed toilets (not sure if they were plugged) multiple other stalls with no toilet paper. Trash bins over flowing and they were almost out of paper towel in all the dispensers.... Not worth the over $45 dollar cost!!!!

Really bad for a downtoan theatre. Lets start with parking. I paid 20 just to park at the garage. After that you have to walk the whole other side of the building just to get to the front of the entrace to the movies. The seats are horriable to sit on. Hard as brick. Either you sit in the front or sit in the far back because there is a mile gap between the front seats from the back.

The parking garage isn't very handicapped friendly. The elevator on the second floor is all of the way over to the East side of the garage. Once you get downstairs, there isn't a sidewalk and you have to walk amongst the vehicles. This poses another safety Hazzard! The theater should have been located closer to the garage. I doubt that I'll ever go to this theater to see another movie.

I went to see The Lion King 10:00 pm Saturday. The common area of the theater was ATROCIOUS!! It was obvious no one had swept in front of the counters, soda machines, nor outside all day!! It was t just a little; it was ridiculous and a bit embarrassing. Definitely wasn’t going to try the restroom. The AMC in Ahwatukee DOES NOT present itself as such!! PRIDE PEOPLE, PRIDE! I’ll be contacting the district manager next.

I just love the location of this theater because i can meet a large group of women for a saturday afternoon movie and none of us are going too far out of our way. Will be great if they get some much needed upgrades (can we get a bar?) and my women's group will rent a theater out for the reopening!

We tried to buy our tickets at the ticket machine and it took our payment but the tickets couldn't print out so it says to go the counter which they don't really have. Ended up having to stand back in the ticket line which took forever since they had only two workers. Finally got in and we decided to get food and one of the items was pretzel bites which they said take a few minutes. Instead of calling out order #'s the lady was just calling out the item which was confusing people and my order was given to other people twice. I had to complain to finally get my order. Lastly, during the movie one of the speakers was making a funny sound. Just overall not a good experience and probably will not return to this AMC.

If you’re trying to catch a flick why not just walk on over this place. This is a great spot for dinner and a movie because there’s so many cool restaurants that are within a stones throw away from this movie theater.There is also a cool looking fountain right in front of this place which is a nice added touch.

I have never been to a stupider movie theater than this one. Apparently they have valet parking that’s impossible to Find. Managegment is super rude yelling at people that there closed at 8:50pm?!? Parking is terrible and the entrance to enter the damn place is ridiculous. Walked all around the damn building for me to finally call and ask how people even get inside the damn place, JUST for them to say it’s inside the shopping center. This place is a damn joke.

Customer service here sucks i won’t be coming back. After all the remodel to the center I would really recommend Retraining every one that has Interaction with customers and showing them how to speak and act in front of them just to get people to come back.

Finally got to see the movie. Well, almost. We paid the premium I went to see the 3D version. Sitting there for 35 minutes of previews everything went dark. After 10 minutes I got up and went to the front to report but nothing was going on. 15 minutes later they turn on the lights came in and said the projector was broken. They gave us tickets for another movie another time and allowed us to do a lateral move to a different theater. we did not get to see it in 3D but we did finally get to see it. Unfortunately, we had to sit through another 35 minutes of previews. So our 6 showing took us all the way to 11 p.m. and our movie validation was no longer valid so I had to pay 4 bucks to get out of the parking. the reason why I gave it five stars is the young lady who was the manager came in theater and gave us all the bad news but she was very professional and extremely organized. When we got our new tickets for the lateral move, I told her she did a great delivery of the bad news and she was handling it well. I wish I could remember her name she was great and made it worth it.

I stood in the consession line for a half hour thank God I bought the tickets online because that line was even worse wierd it was middle of a Sunday day and they had poor service the staff where wearing let's say less then upkept clothing they where unprofessional lazy and a little rude when I asked for fresh popcorn and ask if i could get them to fill my family bucket half way so i could put butter and then fill it up the rest of way.. straight out told.i will never use this theater again I can see why it wasn't full the staff sucks and bathroom's man don't get me started.. 24 cinemas and you would think they would have full staff and people everywhere but nope .. I don't recommend this place to no one

This is a rather large theater. Good concessions. Very low crowds here unless a blockbuster movie is out. They also have those fancy soft drink machines. My main concern for this place is its workforce, as the employees cannot keep pace with certain tasks and demands, increasing wait time for concessions and such. It's also rumored that movie hopping is rampant here as well. Just pay for the movie, people...

24 theaters, clean surroundings, good restaurants around, and best of all: secured parking at a nice structure. The theater validates for 4 hours with a machine sitting at the lobby. Plenty of time to grab dinner and a movie after!

My gf and I watched TOY STORY 4, should have gone to Harkins. I've always wanted to come to this movie theater. Seeing it everytime I came to phx. But I was very unimpressed. The place was filthy, the popcorn was extremely cold and stale. The xtra butter at stand was even cold. There was no popcorn seasoning. Seats are the old style seats. The place was a rip off but still paid full price when it could have been at a nicer theater with better employees. These little kids were rude and it smelt like burnt popcorn behind the counter. I'm just glad I ate before going! Lamest AMC ever,

The dirtiest movie theater in Az! This is just a snap shot of how disgusting this theater is! ALL THE TRASH CANS LOOK LIKE THIS .... OVERFLOWING! Even the restroom trash cans ... I saw a diaper, openly displayed, at the top of the trash heap that spilled onto the floor. I walked into two stalls that were unoperational and overflowing! Normally when I go to an AMC Theater I see spot-on cleanliness. This AMC however, was downright disgusting. I came here for an 8 o'clock Pm showing. There was popcorn everywhere, the bathrooms were filthy and clearly not cleaned nightly, and the theaters themselves were clearly not even swept between movie showings. The customer service was terrible. It was disorganized and the employees all had a very poor attitude towards the patrons. The consession candy racks were empty, popcorn buckets were premade and sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long, and soda dispensers were out of several sodas. We were in line for 35 minutes just to get our tickets, which forced us to miss the showing we were originally planning on seeing. The ticket taker didn't say a single word us; just took our tickets, tore them, then sent us on our way. By far this was the most disappointing movie experience I have experienced. I will never go to this particular AMC again.

We went to see the new avengers movie. I hadnt been to this particular theater before and was sad that they didnt have the super comfy recliners. My husband has a service dog and those seats work perfectly for her and him to be out of the way of people needing to get in and out. But in a pinch it was good. The staff was amazing.

Good place. However parking was a major hassle. The parking is free only if you scan your parking ticket in the theater. If you try and leave without doing that your ticket cost $20 bucks. The scanner is in a small part of the theater you could walk right past it. So if they could make it a Little clearer in the future that would be totally awesome. I had a great time and when I got lost the staff helped me quite a bit. So great theater. Went and seen a really good movie too. (Went and seen the movie Unplanned)

Nice place inside. Really big. It was my first time there, so I'm not sure if it was just the theater I was in, but my seat didn't recline. Also, they don't serve regular food like most other AMC theaters I've been to. They just have popcorn, nachos and candy. Friendly service, but it didn't look like there were many employees. Also, they don't have any wall or anything between the urinals in the men's room. It's minor, but it's still a fact.

Although this AMC movie theater is located on the Northern end of the Arizona Center, the entrance is more about halfway between Fillmore St and Van Buren St. It's pretty spacious inside however the seats are the older, regular, smaller, and non-reclining seats. Other than that, the picture and sound for the movie that I saw was good. I did not purchase any concessions.

The screens are very small so just sit on the very first row that starts to elevate. The seats have literally no movement to lean back at all so be prepared for a stiff back. This is just where we chose to go while waiting for someone. I definitely would not go back for a movie.

The lobby was filthy, and our theatre was not cleaned before our movie. There was popcorn all over the floor, trash in our seats, and my armchair was wet. My son couldn't even use the bathroom because of the feces and urine in the stalls. Disgusting!

Tried to see Detective Pikachu 10 pm showing. Only 1 person at register and both ticket machines down. Literally takes over 8 minutes for 1 person with over 15 people in line. No call for help that resulted in a lost customer. Thanks AMC. You can do better.

Finally got to see the movie. Well, almost. We paid the premium I went to see the 3D version. Sitting there for 35 minutes of previews everything went dark. After 10 minutes I got up and went to the front to report but nothing was going on. 15 minutes later they turn on the lights came in and said the projector was broken. They gave us tickets for another movie another time and allowed us to do a lateral move to a different theater. we did not get to see it in 3D but we did finally get to see it. Unfortunately, we had to sit through another 35 minutes of previews. So our 6 showing took us all the way to 11 p.m. and our movie validation was no longer valid so I had to pay 4 bucks to get out of the parking. the reason why I gave it five stars is the young lady who was the manager came in theater and gave us all the bad news but she was very professional and extremely organized. When we got our new tickets for the lateral move, I told her she did a great delivery of the bad news and she was handling it well. I wish I could remember her name she was great and made it worth it.

I stood in the consession line for a half hour thank God I bought the tickets online because that line was even worse wierd it was middle of a Sunday day and they had poor service the staff where wearing let's say less then upkept clothing they where unprofessional lazy and a little rude when I asked for fresh popcorn and ask if i could get them to fill my family bucket half way so i could put butter and then fill it up the rest of way.. straight out told.i will never use this theater again I can see why it wasn't full the staff sucks and bathroom's man don't get me started.. 24 cinemas and you would think they would have full staff and people everywhere but nope .. I don't recommend this place to no one

This is a rather large theater. Good concessions. Very low crowds here unless a blockbuster movie is out. They also have those fancy soft drink machines. My main concern for this place is its workforce, as the employees cannot keep pace with certain tasks and demands, increasing wait time for concessions and such. It's also rumored that movie hopping is rampant here as well. Just pay for the movie, people...

24 theaters, clean surroundings, good restaurants around, and best of all: secured parking at a nice structure. The theater validates for 4 hours with a machine sitting at the lobby. Plenty of time to grab dinner and a movie after!

Great deals, inside is very clean and great customer service. Would have gave them 5 stars but while in line to buy tickets I was asked by 4 different people for money or something to eat and witnessed one fella I gave 2 bucks to eat piss on the wall about 5 feet from the entrance.

One of the worst AMCs to carry the name, it’s dirty here, has poor customer service, and a low attendance rate. The butter dispensers are frequently empty. Choose a different theatre, I beg you!

My gf and I watched TOY STORY 4, should have gone to Harkins. I've always wanted to come to this movie theater. Seeing it everytime I came to phx. But I was very unimpressed. The place was filthy, the popcorn was extremely cold and stale. The xtra butter at stand was even cold. There was no popcorn seasoning. Seats are the old style seats. The place was a rip off but still paid full price when it could have been at a nicer theater with better employees. These little kids were rude and it smelt like burnt popcorn behind the counter. I'm just glad I ate before going! Lamest AMC ever,

This location is alright. No reclining seats. Consessions at the entrance. The one closes to the theater was closed. The theater was hot and the speaker popping when the movie got loud. Not sure if I will be back to this AMC location.

The dirtiest movie theater in Az! This is just a snap shot of how disgusting this theater is! ALL THE TRASH CANS LOOK LIKE THIS .... OVERFLOWING! Even the restroom trash cans ... I saw a diaper, openly displayed, at the top of the trash heap that spilled onto the floor. I walked into two stalls that were unoperational and overflowing! I've never been so disgusted with a theater ever!

So disappointed! There was a line to get into the theater then a massive line to get popcorn. For an opening weekend for a three hour long movie this location should have been staffed to handle all these people. Not impressed and will not return to this location willingly.

Normally when I go to an AMC Theater I see spot-on cleanliness. This AMC however, was downright disgusting. I came here for an 8 o'clock Pm showing. There was popcorn everywhere, the bathrooms were filthy and clearly not cleaned nightly, and the theaters themselves were clearly not even swept between movie showings. The customer service was terrible. It was disorganized and the employees all had a very poor attitude towards the patrons. The consession candy racks were empty, popcorn buckets were premade and sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long, and soda dispensers were out of several sodas. We were in line for 35 minutes just to get our tickets, which forced us to miss the showing we were originally planning on seeing. The ticket taker didn't say a single word us; just took our tickets, tore them, then sent us on our way. By far this was the most disappointing movie experience I have experienced. I will never go to this particular AMC again.

Movie was good, concessions ridiculously high priced for the conditions of the bathroom to be comparable to a third world country port a John. Urinals were 50% out of service, as were 90% of the sinks and soap/towel dispensers.... and there was piss all over the entire bathroom floor. Poorly maintained experience.

Movie was 15 min late starting. Had to let them know 3 times. No one seemed to care. Feel is about odd here. You have to go through the concession line to get tickets so you have to wait for people getting food and beverages, service is slow. The seats are disgusting. Would not return. 7/25

We went to see the new avengers movie. I hadnt been to this particular theater before and was sad that they didnt have the super comfy recliners. My husband has a service dog and those seats work perfectly for her and him to be out of the way of people needing to get in and out. But in a pinch it was good. The staff was amazing.

Went back since my last poor encounter during Endgame. This time (4/17) I had a problem at the register with moviepass. Manager gave me a comp ticket when moviepass failed. Changed review. Great work AMC, you stepped in when you didn't have to. Keep the lines down and the restrooms clean and you'll continue to have my support and my concessions!

Great selection of movies and free parking downtown. The theaters also have assigned seats now which I love! No more stressing over where to sit in an already-dark theater. Ha! The multi- flavor soda machine was a hit, but the popcorn was stale.

Ordered some curly fries and was told I would be called when they finished making them on the left side of the Concession stand. The theater was semi busy so I understand it gets a little hectic at moments. (I used to work at harkins) But I was forgotten about waited 20 mins before getting back in line just for a sorry.

Good place. However parking was a major hassle. The parking is free only if you scan your parking ticket in the theater. If you try and leave without doing that your ticket cost $20 bucks. The scanner is in a small part of the theater you could walk right past it. So if they could make it a Little clearer in the future that would be totally awesome. I had a great time and when I got lost the staff helped me quite a bit. So great theater. Went and seen a really good movie too. (Went and seen the movie Unplanned)

Nice place inside. Really big. It was my first time there, so I'm not sure if it was just the theater I was in, but my seat didn't recline. Also, they don't serve regular food like most other AMC theaters I've been to. They just have popcorn, nachos and candy. Friendly service, but it didn't look like there were many employees. Also, they don't have any wall or anything between the urinals in the men's room. It's minor, but it's still a fact.

When to see a movie on aug,8,2019 and had the worts experience.. first the fountain machine was broken there was water all over I almos felt..the icee machine was so dirty and there was bed bugs! I feel so itchy and when I got home I had a bed bug on my hair.. I have proofs but won’t let me upload the pictures

Although this AMC movie theater is located on the Northern end of the Arizona Center, the entrance is more about halfway between Fillmore St and Van Buren St. It's pretty spacious inside however the seats are the older, regular, smaller, and non-reclining seats. Other than that, the picture and sound for the movie that I saw was good. I did not purchase any concessions.

The screens are very small so just sit on the very first row that starts to elevate. The seats have literally no movement to lean back at all so be prepared for a stiff back. This is just where we chose to go while waiting for someone. I definitely would not go back for a movie.
