Edit: Something furry ran across the floor while the movie was playing (it was dark though, but would doubt it with the long cold winter). Also removing one star because they were more worried about visiting friends after the movie finished than thanking the customers for spending their cash. Furthermore, while waiting for wife someone was asking for an application (which she did receive), and the staff behind her were giggling manically about how she looked. Save yourself and move on, take the drive to Anchorage. Nice 'small' screen with decent sound. Seats are not comfortable, but this could be subjective. Their ticket and concession prices are more than they should be considering the condition of the lobby, and popcorn was slightly stale. Theater feels cramped, but staff was friendly.

My family and I enjoyed the movie we seen. Snacks and stuff are pricey, about 2x the price compared to the gas station next door. That's normal for theatres though. Everything looked and smelled clean. Jun 2019 update: They have 2 rows of new electric full recline seats. They're dangerous (sleeping during movie risk). But in all seriousness it's a welcomed update from the old seats.

Not bad of a small local theater. Only two screens so the movies don't stay long. Concession lines also appear to be shorter than at the mega-theaters

In two occassions, bathrooms were out service. Seats are old, broken in very bad shape. It does not look clean.

This theater has not yet caught up with current: ticketing, online sales, reserved seating, seat quality and many other things that have become 'movie theater standard' across our country. But as the owner reminded me, it is a small Cinema compared to most. Had an uncomfortable experience last week with tightly crammed seats that are rock hard. And no ushers at anytime to keep horribly behaved children from running up and down the aisle making a ton of noise. Employees at concessions have been so nice and hospitable, they let you know that you are welcome there. Thank you (to the owner) for your response! I think that sounds absolutely fabulous to hear of your plans for the future. It will make going to the movies and sitting for such a long time so much easier for myself and others perhaps. And please know that our family, along with almost all of our friends, prefer to attend Orca on the basis of such great customer service and your concern with how things are run. I will fix my rating on this one as everything didn't complete before my phone restarted.

Your typical small town theater. I would say they are too high priced for the inside. They could polish it up more. Might help. Update the seats. They are pretty used and not comfortable at all.

It's a little bit dated now, but the theater doesn't deserve the hate it is catching. It's been clean when I have gone. The chairs were updated a few years back. The community was better served when the two theaters split the new releases, but I suspect the other theater is to blame after the change in management.

I love this local, family owned, and friendly theater. The seats are comfortable and the popcorn is fresh. The prices are excellent. (Have you gone to a movie theater Outside lately?) I have always found the ever revolving staff to be friendly and efficient. Additionally, I like it that we have a choice. I attend one of the two local theaters at least once a week. Support your local businesses!!!!!!!!

Good, clean theater. Great customer service by the employees today. Very grateful for the $5 economy price on Wednesday, even the showings after 6 PM (although I think 3D is higher).

Great locally owned business. The competing theater has been purchased by a group from out of state who are actively trying to run the Orca into the ground. For this reason alone, the Orca is the best local theater and the only one we will do business with.

This is a pretty old theater with only 2 screens and it's not too pretty to look at on the outside or the inside. On top of that you're still paying around $10 a ticket when it looks like it could be the dollar theater. It does get new movies though which is a plus. The staff was nice too. Expect to overpay for popcorn, snacks, and drinks just like most tears you go to. The screens are okay to watch movies on and the sound isn't bad either. There's no stadium seating if you're in to that (I could care less what type of seating they have). One more thing, Wednesdays they have half price movie night, so if you can swing it, that might not be a bad time to go of you're looking to save some money.

Food selection extremely small. Staff wasn't friendly to me and my family but watched them give excellent service to next person in line. However seating was nice comfortable and very clean.

Even with the remodel at the kenai theater, I prefer the Orca Theater. I have been going there since I was a kid and I love the scene. Great seats, prices, movie choices, Wednesday deals....! What's not to love!

The floor was sticky and there was some trash still laying around, but the seats were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The sound and video quality is pretty good. Had it not been for the sticky floor this would have been a much better experience.

The seats are worn out forcing a person to set too low for comfortable viewing. Very stuffy environment. No airflow. No clean up between showing so you set in the middle of a mess. Not my favorite for the price.

Went to go see "IT" movie theatre was disgusting, my new shoes were drenched in soda and popcorn butter not cleaned from the previous showing. How can a staff seriously not manage to keep only 2 theatres clean? Thats all you have to do. But instead they chill in the back and kill time on the clock until their shifts are over. Never coming back
