I really enjoyed the movie here. I didnt know you had heated reclining seats! I preferred your competitor because I knew they had recliners but now that I know you do too, I'll definitely be coming here more often. Spacious theater and seats. Thanks for that. The only thing though is your ticket checker looked like he was in hell. Maybe find someone that doesnt hate life to take tickets.

This is a nice local cinema. It used to be the best in town, but that honor now belongs to another location. Stadium style seating is nice and the screening rooms are generally clean. The screens look good, but are sometimes washed out or dim. There is a nice selection of arcade machines if you enjoy that.

They dont clean in between movies the place is a mess. It was my first time here after they got the recliners and as soon as i got to the recliner I see empty soda cans in all the seats we just paid for.

We went to this theater because we were given a giftcard for this specific theater. The ticket counter was completely disorganized and took quite awhile even though they were staffed enough and not busy. I was also shocked by the price of a ticket and was glad we had the giftcard. We stopped at the concession stand where the higher prices continued. What really shocked me was it was primarily self serve and the staff they did have was quite unfriendly. The floor was covered in spilled drinks and popcorn as well. Once we were seated, I saw the seats were the only highlight. I soon noticed our popcorn tub was half crumbs and had no flavor and even adding butter doesn't help. Had I known this theater was anything like we experienced I would've given the giftcards away.

My roommate and I have been going to this movie theater at least once a month (we like doing a monthly roomie movie date). It has always been comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and they have plenty of snacks to choose from. I particularly like the pretzel bites with cheese, although I do wish they came with more pretzels (a girl can dream, right?). Lately, however, the theater has been outdoing itself and now has heated reclining seats that make movie dates 1000% more enjoyable. They've been offering more variety in the snacks as well. They also have a sort of loyalty program where you can reserve seats on their app and get 20% discount on food, which we have enjoyed a lot. Great place! We love it a lot.

Very disappointed at the Cinemark and their one policy fits all. There was no flexibility when conditions outside the customers ability took place and all the site manager would say is “It is a company policy and we cannot make any exceptions, even in bag country.” Acknowledging that in the inclement weather of Alaska their needs to be accommodations.

Given the area of town this theater is in, be prepared for a mixed bag of characters in the audience who can be a large distraction to the actual characters on the screen. The stadium seating here, magnifies the problem since there are those who cannot sit for 5 minutes without looking at their phone. Worse are the ones who think they are the only ones in the theater, thus carry on conversation throughout the duration of the movie.

Decent stadium seating. Screens are a little smaller then what i'm used to. Staff was super friendly and smiled a lot. It's located at the top of the mall in case you can't find it at first (like me) I'd would go back but i prefer a larger screen.

No Century 16 I remember when it opened up and this is the reason why I give them five stars is because Through The Years there viewing movie pleasure has increased they have nicer chairs more customer nice or more customer service and the awesome thing is is that pretty much takes all the family you can have all kinds of things that are romantic dates all that kind of into the video games for the kids when you just wanted to be mom and dad or whatever to so you know it's a really great place is family oriented or just being out on a date that's why they have five stars

You grab your own snacks and drinks, for the most part, and then you pay on your way out of the concession area. Lids for drinks are withvthe drinks, but the straws are outside the concession stand/area. It is really confusing for a 1st time visitor. Great seats and the XD screen was worthvthe upcharge.

Love this place. Amazing seats, great movie prices but the consessions prices are to expensive. I paid more for my snacks than movie tickets and I just dont think that is right. They need to drop a little more and maybe you'd get more business in the food part of your theater.

The new chairs are great. Cinemark Movie club is worth it if you see a lot of movies. Only complaint I can really think of is that there only ever seems to be one consession line open at a time no matter how busy it is, but I still get through the line reasonably fast so it's not a major issue.

Love this theater! Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly suprised by their automatic reclining chairs, privacy between the chairs, and the wuality of the facility! The owners definitely upgraded the theatre and would HAPPILY go there to watch future movies! Be sure to go here if you are going on a movie date! The comfortable chairs are great for couples!

The bathroom is always overrun. The staff is very nice. There aren't any signs that tell you to just go to the podium when you prepay. And confessions are always a little pandemonium.

I had just left Regal to go to Century to watch the movie Us (hoping that there were more available seats here). I was called to the counter by a lady, and instead of greeting me she was performing another task in silence (even though she called me over ??). I asked the ticket counter lady if we could all purchase the tickets together, because at Regal group ticket sales has to be done by someone 21 and older. She simply barked out, “yes but i have to see ids. 18 and older”. Her tone was demeaning and I politely asked if it was okay if my friend forgot his id, and she barked out “no!!! id!!!”. After my friend found his id, i went back to the counter to tell her. I instead was greeted with 5 minutes of silence as she was performing the same task but refused to acknowledge me, even though she called me over. I told her he has his id and said we can buy the tickets. She asked me “Does he have his id?” “DOES HE HAVE HIS ID” “DOES HE HAVE HIS ID?!?” 3 times! Every time I said yes!!! Why can’t she just trust my statement instead of raising her attitude for no reason? I always try to be nice to customer service employees, but the attitude of this employee was appalling.

I went to see the "Green Book". First I did not know you had seating that was assigned! This was weird, never in my 52 years have I sat in the very 1st row in any theater. I asked for another sear at the counter, but they have Me what they wanted. Secondly, I bought popcorn, asked for butter to be layered, unfortunately, I barely tasted any butter in the bag. Also, as I ate my popcorn as I got to the " upper" bottom of my bag, I began to eat burnt, hard, and lots of popcorn seeds/ kernels that I could have broke my teeth on. I still have the bag with an unbelievable amount of inedible popcorn! I paid $22.00 for this experience, really! A friend had told me that she didn't like this theater, now I see why!!!!!in

Was visiting Anchorage with my wife, wanted to catch a movie before out flight left and we both had small backpacks. Wouldn't let us in. We spent something $15.00 already on the Lyft there from the Hilton Anchorage and had to spend about as much getting back. Management refused to make an exception for us, offered to let them search our bags. Waste of time and a waste of money. You should be warned about these policies ahead of time.

This is my favorite movie theater in Anchorage. Their movie club makes the price very affordable. You can select your heated, recliner seats online and their concession line is designed to flow very well. Other theaters in town need to be modeled after this place.

$$$ Prices Listed Below $$$ Still the greatest way to watch a movie. I highly recommend leaving behind those small screens to enjoy a movie on the BIG screen. This theater is divided in half with auditoriums on the left (lower numbers) and auditoriums on the right (higher numbers). The food concession is also divided in half, but I would choose the side with the shorter line. Restrooms are located on each side, but you'll need to show a movie ticket first to get to them. Severely disappointed at first when I was told I had to chose from the remaining seats... I ended up happy and comfortable with my 'end' seat. Push a button and you are reclining! No need to tuck your feet in for people walking by! As a non frequent movie person, I was happily impressed! Popcorn is good too.

His theater isn’t the most technologically advanced in Anchorage but it’s still a great place to experience a good movie. I actually really appreciate the concession stand approach here. Not your traditional on person at a time. Go enjoy Hollywood but get there early so you won’t miss out in the assigned seating for movies that apply.

Very nice, very clean, but I work with people who have disabilities. They do not have any discounts for these individuals or their caregivers. Most of these people live on extremely limited incomes, and their choices of entertainment is also limited. It would be nice there was something to make it easier for these people to afford going to see a movie every once in a while.

Pros: Happy and helpful staff, the ability to reserve seats and the new recliners are the top three reasons I like Century over Tikahtnu these days. Con: I'm not sure if this was a management thing or if they literally couldn't avoid it that night but the concession stands only had one of the two sides operating. This was during first showing of Aquaman mind you.. This of course led to such a long line that our group opted out of popcorn and whatnot before the movie. With 40 plus people in line, we weren't really feeling waiting in line for a likely 25 to 30 minutes just to pay theater prices for snacks, sorry.

I've never been to this theater before tonight. I was annoyed that they canceled the showing of the movie I originally went to see, and literally had only one movie playing on every screen (end game). Besides that, and your usual overpriced concessions, the tickets weren't too expensive, I believe 12 dollars each, and the seats were easily the most comfortable I've had the luxury of at a cinema. Though, I don't usually go out to see a movie, so my opinion may just be biased due to the low number of experiences. Whatever the case, as someone who doesn't care to go out to the movies often, next time I go it will most likely be here.... Assuming they don't cancel my movie again xD

Seat were nice and comfortable , but the clean up between movies was awful! All of our seats were sticky covered in sugar from candy I’m assuming and I had to get my own paper towels from the bathroom because the people we asked to wipe down our seats never came up to do so. Kinda bad service in that aspect might just stick with diamond theater from now on.
