Love the Fort Rucker Theater! Great seating, screen, Dolby sound system, snack bar and the prices can't be beat. The theater shows pre- released and current movies. The staff is friendly and best of all I feel safe in this theater.

First time at this theater like many theaters across the nation some choose to play the national anthem before the previews. I wasn't exactly sure if I was allowed to stand or not so I simply put my hand over my heart. No one in the theater stood so I did continued to sit. There were couples and families ranging all ages a few of us being younger males who you could tell were military were also in the audience. Our anthem ends and the previews begin to play. A fat black male worker starts making his way through the aisle towards me with a flashlight in hand mind you he walked past many older males other families and couples. I thought he was just doing the normal aisle checks but instead walks right up to me and says "excuse me we stand for the playing of the national anthem if you wish to not stand you can wait outside till it's over". . . One of thee most insulting statements someone has ever had the audacity to say to my face. Not only do I salute that flag every morning evening and wear it on my shoulder every single day I work I also serve and protect the right so that idiots like this man who blatantly insulted me don't have to stand for the anthem if they choose not to. He proceeded to tell 4 other young males who were also serving the samething yet completely ignoring everyone else. Seriously disgraceful behavior. Words don't describe what an insult to ones military service that was.

You cant beat the price! Theather is clean and pretty big. The staff is nice. There is not a huge selection of snacks but the popcorn is good. They usually play major blockbuster movies on opening night. The only draw back is that some of the military families tend to let their kids run rampant around the theater sometimes. I would have thought this would have not been an excuse on a military post. For a huge family trying to watch up to date movies...its a bargain and I highly recommend it.

Not a huge screen, but you can't beat the price. Very kid friendly. Beer and wine available at concessions, just get what you want near the start of the show because they won't be open for the whole showing if it's the last show of the day.
