This is such a cool place and we're really lucky to have it in the area! Not only is it a family-friendly environment, it's a wonderful throw back! The food is delightfully bad for you (it tastes great - just not the place to eat if you're watching your weight/cholesterol. lol), the prices are just excellent and the sound quality is fantastic (well, depending upon your car stereo, of course). As others have mentioned, the picture quality is about what you'd expect at a Drive In. You can't go expecting an HD feature but that's part of the charm! If you're looking for a fantastic night out with the family - King's Drive In is the perfect deviation from the norm. The kids will love it (if they get bored with the movie - they can always safely play in the nearby playground - or just take a nap in the car!) Support this excellent local business, folks! You'll be glad you did!

Being able to watch 2 (sometimes even 3) movies for $6 is a great deal. Sometimes it can be annoying to watch a movie when kids are throwing things at the screen but overall, I always enjoy myself at the drive in. Concessions are reasonably priced too and it's a great place to take your family.

The first movie is usually more child/family friendly and the second is usually more enjoyable for the dads in the crowd! I rate this place four stars out of five because it desperately needs some repairs.

This is a great place to watch a movie. The films are great, the staff are very nice, the food is excellent, and the movies are mostly great. However, remember that this establishment doesn't accept credit or debit cards. Bring cash or (if I remember correctly) checks.

My biggest complaint is the enforcement of the parking policy. When it gets busy there isnt anyone making the people actually adhere to the policy of making room. Also at this point they would be better served to remove the poles and have someone monitor to make sure people park in an orderly fashion.

I LOVE this place! Seriously for the price you can not beat it. It cost my wife and I $12 all together for two movies and in the summer three. I sware they have spoiled me into not wanting to spend theater money when I want to see a movie. The food is great the workers are very nice. It's just a great experience all around everytime I go.

What can I say one word nostalgia too bad they don't still have the old speakers you hang inside your car but playing it through your radio is an improvement other than that the concession stand is exactly like it was in the 1950s if you want a nostalgic night go here if you want to just show your kids what a drive-in movies all about you need to go here there weren't many of these left we need to support them while we can!

Always love the experience! The worst thing about it can be the people around you or the ones who are u aware if their lights, but that's not a reflection of the drive in themselves. The concessions are cheap and wonderful, staff friendly, and the moves always start on time and we haven't had an issue in the 6+ years I've been going. Love this place!

Staff and facility is fantastic. Prices can't be beat. Concession stand is quick and yummy. Only negative that can be mentioned is only 2 stalls for the women's bathroom. Don't know why some women take so long but would love to see a couple more stalls.

I've been going since I was a little kid! One of the few drive ins left in the country. Prices are usually $5.50 for an adult to watch TWO movies! They used to have window mount speakers but have made the switch to FM transmission, be sure you have a good car battery as sound will be on your FM radio!

If you're a nostalgia freak, this is your happy place. Clean, but been there a while. 1949 to be exact as the oldest continually testing drive-in for the state of Alabama. Cheap date, great for snuggling, and at $6 a head, I think you can afford to take her out, AND PAY, Bub!

We had an excellent time! Very friendly people and extremely inexpensive! It was Only $6 for people ages 5 and up, we got to watch the Incredibles 2 and Jurassic world fallen kingdom for one price and all of our 3 children got to enjoy it for free. The food is phenomenal and unbelievably cheap. I would rather go here than a movie theater any day, It was only $18 for all 6 of us to enjoy the two movies and cost over $100 at the movie theater for 7 of us to watch one and it was much more enjoyable at King drive inn, they even have a little park for the kids.

Cool little old drive-in movie space. The food is average at best. Small cheese burger $4 and chilli cheese fries with very little chilli $3.50 makes it quite expensive for just adequate food. Film's about to start.... Let's hope the screen and projector are good

The drive in itself is nice. The only problems I see with it are them allowing people with lifted trucks up front, which makes being able to see in any kind of cars. Also too many people have no respect and will turn on their headlights while the movie is playing, making it near impossible to see what part of the screen the tall trucks block.

I think it should be a rule that the kids have to go back to there parents when the movies start. But instead there are loud kids in the play zone right in front of the screen. So be cautious about parking right up front near the play zone because some parents do not care what their kids do.

My family and I love this place! They keep up to date with the new releases, there's a playground for the kids, and the concessions, while a bit pricey, are great! The bathroom situation could be better in several ways, and maybe some yard bombs for the mosquitoes would be a huge plus.. otherwise it's family owned, and a wonderful family environment!
